There is two parts in the project:

Synopsis and Report.

First, we have to make a synopsis of the given topic and then we have to make a report.

Synopsis is a kind of 10-20 pages of summary as per topic required in the project.

This is the first process of the project.

It is also known as the proposal.

The synopsis should be approved, if synopsis doesn’t approve by the guide then we are not able to make a report.

So, Synopsis is a compulsory part of making the project.

When we completed our synopsis, then we need to proceed for the next step and that is approval of the synopsis

 (1) Firstly, we need to go to the study centre for the signature of the guide.

(2) Sometimes guide gives the correction.

(3) Then, we correct the synopsis as per given the instructions by the guide.

(4) After all the corrections are done, then the guide signs the synopsis.

(5) When the guide signs the synopsis, then we need to go at the Maidan Garhi for the approval of the synopsis.

(6) We need to submit our assignments at the head office of IGNOU i.e. Maidan Garhi.

(7) We can submit our synopsis by post or we can submit them by visiting the head office my own.

(8) After the submission, it takes one month for the approval of the synopsis.

It is not compulsory that our synopsis will be approved if guide easily signs the synopsis and gives no correction to us.

It depends upon the teachers at the Maidan Garhi who will approve the synopsis.

Yes, sometimes synopsis get rejected.

When we submit our synopsis, after 1-2 months we receive a letter regarding our synopsis.

If our synopsis then we make a new synopsis on a new topic.

 If our synopsis got approved, then the next process is to make the report of this synopsis

Report is a kind of 80-120 pages of detailed work of the synopsis as per topic required in the project.

This is the last process of the project.

It is also known as the Thesis and Dissertation.

When we completed our report, then we need to proceed for the next step and that is signature of the guide, then we have to bind the whole project which includes a synopsis, approval letter and report. After that, we need to go at the IGNOU Head office Maidan Garhi for submitting the whole project.

We have to do Hard binding of the report for the submission.

No, it is not compulsory that all synopsis goes to Maidan Garhi for approval. There are some synopsis which goes to Regional centre for the approval.
