What is BDP grade card in IGNOU?

 The BDP Grading card is a kind of marks card which cover all the aspects of information such as Term End Theory Marks, Assignment Marks, Practical Marks, Course Completion Status. The IGNOU University compiles the student’s result in this form od grade card.

How can we check our BDP grade card in IGNOU?

We need to follow these points to check our BDP grading card:

Step 1: Click on “Results” from the home page of IGNOU official website.

Step 2: Now click on “Grade Card” from the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Select your programme. 

Step 4: Enter your programme again and the 9 digit enrollment number.

Step 5: Click on “Submit”.

What will be grade card calculation in this present year?

 The grade card calculator of IGNOU 2019 assigns a particular weightage to different components of a candidate’s academic work done during the course of his/her stay in the university. The marks to be awarded to the candidate are then calculated using these weightages and added together to determine the final percentage of the candidate.

What all components are considered by the IGNOU grade card calculator?

Marks in the following components will be taken into consideration for grade calculator – Assignment marks, TEE theory marks, TEE practical marks.

What is the weightage breakup as per IGNOU grade calculator?

The weightage breakup is as follows –

  1. a) term end exam theory marks – 70% and 
  2. b) assignment marks – 30% marks.

When will the grade card of IGNOU 2019 be released?

IGNOU releases grade card just a couple of days after announcing results. So the results for January 2019 cycle will be announced in December 2019 and therefore, the grade card will be released in December 2019. The result dates for July 2019 cycle will be notified by the university soon.
