This will also enable the learner to realize that basically there is only one music in our country. After passing through changes it converted into two distinct types of music – Hindustani & Karnatak.
Objective: This programme is aimed to creating awareness and appreciation of Hindustani music. This will also help the learner to gain knowledge of practical as well theoretical aspect of the art form.
Eligibility: 10th pass, No upper age limit
Medium of Instruction: English
Duration: Minimum 6 months and Maximum 2 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.
