When we can check the Assignment marks status?
When the Evaluator has successfully evaluated our assignment then they will upload our marks on IGNOU site then we can see our Marks, Grade and result of Assignment from that IGNOU site. Generally, after 40 days of submission to the concerned study center then the Assignment marks update or uploaded.
How much time it will take for the IGNOU Assignment marks status?
We should check the assignment status after three to four weeks. We should not check the assignment status after few days.
If we couldn’t fine our marks or detail on the IGNOU uploaded site?
Yes, there is the possibility if the marks or status is not uploaded yet by IGNOU then we should wait first for the new update of and check the new updates on the site. if still our marks or assignment status are on shown then we should visit to the study center or we can also contact to the IGNOU Assignment evaluation center.
What are the reasons if Assignment grade card status show “Not Completed”?
When we check our Assignment grade card status, they find commonly two types of status “completed” and “Not Completed“.
If all our courses show “Completed” Status, then we have done our course. We will soon receive a provisional certificate and mark sheet from IGNOU. If one of our courses show “Not completed” status, there might be some reasons for this.
For Example:
Our assignments not submitted on time. In IGNOU, submission of assignments on time is mandatory to seat in the TEE and also it influence the grade card.
We might have not attended all practical for our particular course. Contact with our study centre for practical.
We should make sure that we have submitted Dissertations and project on time because some IGNOU programmes have compulsory Dissertations or project. Then there is the possibility that someone might have failed in the term end examination our programme has expired. It depends on our programme because different programmes have different validity period.
For example: MCA (Master of Computer Application) can be completed within 3-6 years (minimum 3 years and maximum 6 years). So your grade card might not be updated if your program’s validity is over.
What does mean of “IGNOU Assignment Status not completed”?
The updation of assignment status usually takes time. Candidates will find the updated status 20 to 25 days after submitting their assignments. The assignment marks are usually updated a few days before the TEE results are announced. We should contact to the study center if the Assignment status or assignment marks have not been update for a long time.
Also, we should always remember to get a receipt signed by the HOD after submitting the assignments. Furthermore, we should also get the photocopies of their assignments attested by the study center. Fulfilling these steps will ensure that in case of discrepancies, candidates have enough evidence to support their claims that they have indeed submitted their assignments.

Submitting the assignment is the most important part. This is important for us to check the IGNOU 2019 Assignment marks status so that they are aware of the status of their assignments and of the components that go into the computation of the final grade.
