Two format details are specific to this semester and worth rehearsing. First, the internal split. Real MCO-023 papers break their questions 10+10, 5+5+10 and 2+8+10; MCO-024 December 2025 used 10+10 and straight 20s. Answering only the first half of a split question is the single most expensive habit here, and it appears in the 10-item mistakes list of all four chapters, 40 entries in total. Second, the closing note question. MCO-023 ends with “write short notes on any four of the following” at 4×5, and MCO-024 with “any two” at 10+10. Those are full 20-mark questions answered in a different register from an essay, and MCO-023 December 2022 and MCO-024 December 2025 both carry one.

One instruction line does vary. Some MCO-06 papers read “attempt any five questions, all questions carry equal marks” while others read “attempt any five questions, marks are given against each question” — in the latter the split is printed beside each question rather than assumed. Read your own instruction line before planning your five, because it decides whether all five are worth 20 marks flat or whether the split is printed for you.

Whether or not this volume ever reaches you, the internal logic of a 20-mark answer is worth carrying into the hall. Lead with an exact definition and attribute it. Follow with the framework, model or ethical system, named. Add an Indian application — the book leans on Tata, Reliance, Infosys, HDFC and Maruti, and on SEBI and RBI where a regulator fits. Close with one line linking the concept to a managerial decision. For MCO-022 the formula and its substitution replace the framework step; for MCO-024 a conceded counter-argument replaces the example.

One detail for Hindi-medium candidates: IGNOU prints the Hindi and English versions of these papers in the same booklet, which is why an MCO-06 paper runs to four or six printed pages rather than two. You have not been handed the wrong paper and need not request a separate Hindi copy. The plan’s structure is sound: two subjects on day one, two plus the 40-question self-test on day two, each subject worked in the order Section A, B, C, then the three-star answers in D, then E and F. Twelve working hours a day, fifteen scheduled blocks in all.

If you have the full semester, read the four official Hindi blocks of each paper and use the guide as a checkpoint. After finishing a block, open that subject’s हीटमैप and confirm you can write something on every very-high topic — 13 for MCO-06, 14 for MCO-022, 13 for MCO-023 and 13 for MCO-024. Where you cannot, return to the block rather than to the guide. MCO-022 deserves particular attention here, because with 14 of 18 topics in the top band and only four below it, there is almost nothing safe to skip — against 13 of 18 in each of the other three papers.

If you have a week, give the first full day to MCO-022 while the formula table is fresh, one day each to MCO-06 and MCO-023, a day to MCO-024, and reserve the last two for the 40-question self-test and the four 30-मिनट कैप्सूल. Read the self-test against its five score bands, which convert a score into an instruction: 34 to 40 means revise only Section F; 28 to 33 sends you back to Section E of the weaker subjects; 20 to 27 sends you to rewrite the three-star answers in Section D; 16 to 19 sends you back to the Section C blueprints; below 16 means reopening the chapter from Section A.

Whichever of the three windows you are in, the discipline does not change across all four MCO papers: a single source, held to the end. Learners who pair the four official Hindi blocks per paper with one guide finish their revision; learners who add downloaded PDFs, video playlists and a second guidebook across all 18 credits generally do not.
