It has 16 credits (6 credits in theory and 10 credits in practical) and has 1 theory course and 1 practical course.
Objectives:
- Update the knowledge and skills of health care providers in reproductive and child health
- Enable the health care providers to render effective health care to mother & child
Eligibility: Nursing Professionals (RNRM) with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and above
OR
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) /Female Health Worker (FHW)/Health Supervisor(HS)/ Lady Health Visitor (LHV)/Public Health Nurse (PHN).

Duration: Minimum 6 months and Maximum 2 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.
