Certificate Programme in Maternal and Child Health Nursing is continuing nursing education programme of six months for in-service nurses (ANM/RNRM).

It has 16 credits (6 credits in theory and 10 credits in practical) and has 1 theory course and 1 practical course.

Objectives:

  • Update the knowledge and skills of health care providers in reproductive and child health
  • Enable the health care providers to render effective health care to mother & child

Eligibility: Nursing Professionals (RNRM) with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and above

OR

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) /Female Health Worker (FHW)/Health Supervisor(HS)/ Lady Health Visitor (LHV)/Public Health Nurse (PHN).

Medium of Instruction: English

Duration: Minimum 6 months and Maximum 2 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.

Fee Structure: Rs.6,600/- for full programme
