IGNOU MCOM Books: One Course Book per Code, However IGNOU Prints the Code
IGNOU’s own papers print one M.Com course as MCO-22 and MCO-022, and another as MCO-1, MCO-01 and MCO-001, so every complete course book here is matched to the code on your admission record.
- 15 courses, 80 credits
- 14 codes with a course book
- English and Hindi medium
- Semesters 1 and 3: 660 hours each
- Codes checked before payment
- Official blocks on eGyanKosh
Each code and its medium are confirmed on WhatsApp before a total is quoted.
Quick answer. IGNOU MCOM books are IGNOU’s own M.Com self-learning material, issued in blocks and units, posted in print unless a learner chose digital, and free on eGyanKosh. The July 2026 Common Prospectus sets the Master of Commerce at 15 courses and 80 credits over four semesters: 14 taught codes, from MCO-01 in Semester 1 to IBO-06 in Semester 4, plus MCOP-001, the 6-credit project. Each taught code also has a complete course book from Shri Chakradhar Publication, holding the course’s chapters, the latest previous years’ solved papers and the important questions and answers. Each course book costs ₹249 as a hard copy and ₹99 as a soft copy (PDF), and a learner orders only the course codes needed. A hard-copy order carries one fixed delivery charge of ₹100, however many books it contains. Books are prepared in English and Hindi, the two media IGNOU offers for the M.Com, and IGNOU’s alternative spellings of a code, such as MCO-22 and MCO-022, lead to the same book. Every book order is placed on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830.
How Close Is the December 2026 Term-End Examination?
IGNOU’s tentative date sheet opens the December 2026 term-end examination on 25 November 2026, a week before December begins.
Tentative span: 25 November 2026 to 13 January 2027, with a morning sitting from 10 AM to 1 PM and an afternoon sitting from 2 PM to 5 PM.
Date that counts: the one printed against each M.Com code on the learner’s hall ticket, because IGNOU labels this schedule tentative.
Each M.Com code has its own day inside that span, so the December 2026 date sheet by course code is where MCO-05 or IBO-06 is looked up. Once the final schedule is out, the IGNOU hall ticket download steps show where the confirmed date appears. The planner in the tools section counts the days from whenever it is used, so no fixed day count is printed here.
How Many Study Hours Does Each M.Com Semester Carry?
The July 2026 Common Prospectus gives the M.Com 80 credits, which its section 1.9 turns into 2,400 hours of learner study: 660 hours in Semester 1, 540 in Semester 2, 660 in Semester 3 and 540 in Semester 4. IGNOU’s Common Prospectus for July 2026 counts one credit as 30 hours of learner study, so a 4-credit course carries 120 hours and a 6-credit course 180 hours.
- Semester 1, 660 hours. MCO-01, MCO-04 and MCO-05 are 6-credit courses of 180 hours each, and MCO-021 Managerial Economics adds 120.
- Semester 2, 540 hours. MCO-06 Marketing Management is the only 6-credit course; MCO-22, MCO-23 and MCO-24 take 120 hours apiece.
- Semester 3, 660 hours. The heavy load returns with MCO-03, MCO-07 and IBO-02 at 180 hours each, plus MCO-015 at 120.
- Semester 4, 540 hours. Reading takes 360 of them, for IBO-01 and IBO-06. The other 180 belong to the project, MCOP-001.
At two hours a day, one pass through Semester 1 takes 330 days. Three hours a day still needs 220. A semester runs about six months from admission to its term-end examination, so a single full reading at those hours does not fit inside one semester.
On eGyanKosh, read on 19 September 2026, the MCO-1 Organisation Theory and Behaviour collection holds 3 units in Block 1, Organisation Theory, and 4 units in Block 2, Organisational Behaviour and Individual Perspective-I. IGNOU issues printed study material either as a single book of blocks and units or as separate blocks for every course, on an average one block per credit, and a block usually comprises 3 to 5 units.
Official M.Com Blocks, a Help Book or a Free PDF: What Each One Is For
The official self-learning material comes first for every M.Com course; a help book is a revision companion from an independent publisher, and a free PDF is legitimate only when the file is IGNOU’s own.
Self-learning material (SLM) is IGNOU’s own course content for the M.Com, written by the School of Management Studies and issued in blocks that usually hold 3 to 5 units each, per section 1.11 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus; IGNOU prints and posts it unless the learner chose digital material at admission. eGyanKosh, at egyankosh.ac.in, is IGNOU’s free digital repository of self-learning material.
A help book, which sellers also call a guide book or reference book, is an independent publisher’s revision volume that condenses one course syllabus, such as MCO-05 or IBO-06, for the term-end examination. A help book is never an IGNOU publication, so its value rests on matching the code on the admission record and the medium and edition IGNOU issued.
A free PDF is legitimate only when it is IGNOU’s own file, opened from egyankosh.ac.in or the IGNOU e-Content app. Official study material is linked here only at egyankosh.ac.in, and this page does not host or redistribute IGNOU’s files. Copies of IGNOU files on other hosts cannot be checked for edition or completeness, and a PDF of any publisher’s paid book is not free material. The official download steps are set out in the guide to downloading IGNOU’s own study material, and the repository itself opens at egyankosh.ac.in.
| Question | Official SLM blocks | Help book or guide book | Free PDF |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who publishes it | IGNOU, School of Management Studies | An independent publisher | IGNOU, when the file comes from eGyanKosh or the e-Content app |
| What it costs | Included in the programme fee | Set by the publisher | Nothing on IGNOU’s own platforms |
| What it is for | Learning each course unit by unit | Revision and answer practice | Reading IGNOU’s text on a screen |
| When it helps | From the first week of the semester | In the weeks before the term-end examination | When printed blocks are late, or digital was chosen at admission |
| Link to the examination | The term-end paper covers the syllabus these blocks teach | Not an IGNOU text; it restates the syllabus | Same text as the printed blocks when the file is IGNOU’s |
| Where to get it | By post from IGNOU, eGyanKosh or the e-Content app | From the publisher | egyankosh.ac.in or the e-Content app only |

No single help book suits every M.Com learner, and the question of which publisher to pick is settled by checks rather than by names. Before buying from anyone, five checks apply:
- The code set matches the admission record: MCO-01, MCO-04, MCO-05 and MCO-021 for Semester 1, not a first-year set of IBO-01 to IBO-06 from the older year-wise M.Com.
- The medium is the one IGNOU allotted, English or Hindi.
- The edition follows the semester table of the July 2026 Common Prospectus rather than an older code list.
- Course titles use IGNOU’s wording, which is the wording assignments and examination forms need.
- The book makes no promise about marks and does not claim to know which questions will be set, because evaluation belongs to IGNOU.
For wider comparison, the site keeps a list of IGNOU help books by programme. Printed guides are discussed on the guide books online page, and short revision notes sit on the IGNOU study notes page.
What an M.Com Complete Course Book Holds
Each complete course book follows one M.Com code and holds three things: chapters for that course, solved papers from the latest previous years, and a set of important questions with answers.
One code, one binding. MCO-05 and MCO-021 are separate books, so a learner repeating one course orders one book.
Chapters for the course. The chapters cover the single M.Com course named on the cover and are read beside IGNOU’s blocks for that code.
Solved papers, latest years. The latest previous years’ solved papers show how questions on the code have been framed and answered in recent sessions.
Important questions, answered. A fixed list of important questions and answers gives the final revision round a clear route.
Semester 1 in four books. MCO-01, MCO-04, MCO-05 and MCO-021 each have a book, ordered together or one at a time.
4-credit courses kept apart. MCO-22, MCO-23 and MCO-24 each get their own book instead of sharing one with MCO-06.
MCO-015 by its own code. The Semester 3 book for India’s Foreign Trade and Investment is MCO-015, not the similarly titled PGDIBO course IBO 3.
Two books for Semester 4. IBO-01 and IBO-06 are the taught courses, while MCOP-001 stays with the project route.
English or Hindi. Every code is prepared in both media that IGNOU offers for the M.Com.
Two spellings, one book. MCO-22 and MCO-022 name the same course and lead to the same book.
Shared IBO codes. IBO-01, IBO-02 and IBO-06 carry identical titles and credits in PGDIBO, so these three books match PGDIBO codes as well.
PDF or print. The soft copy suits a phone and quick searching; the hard copy suits margins, underlining and numerical practice.

Where IGNOU’s own M.Com documents disagree, and one disagreement on this site
- The M.Com table in the July 2026 Common Prospectus prints MCO-021 with three digits beside MCO-22, MCO-23 and MCO-24 with two, while the B.Com (Honours) table in the same prospectus prints MCO-023 and MCO-024.
- IGNOU names the Semester 1 assignment file “MCO-01,04,05,21”, eGyanKosh files MCO-01 as MCO-1, and a December 2017 question paper printed MCO-01 as MCO-001.
- MCO-01’s title reads Organization Theory and Behavior in the M.Com table, Organization Theory and Behaviour in the B.Com (Honours) list, Organisation Theory and Behaviour on eGyanKosh and Organisational Theory and Behaviour on the December 2024 paper.
- IGNOU’s M.Com Semester 1 assignment booklets say they carry all six courses, though the semester has four, a line that also appears in IGNOU’s older six-course booklets.
- MCO-015 India’s Foreign Trade and Investment, 4 credits, is a different course from IBO 3 India’s Foreign Trade, 6 credits, in the PGDIBO table.
- On this site, the M.Com 1st semester page writes the Semester 2 codes as MCO-22, MCO-23 and MCO-24, while sibling semester pages write MCO-022, MCO-023 and MCO-024; both forms name the same courses.
Every variant above names one course. Books on this page are matched to the code on the admission record, and the prospectus wording is the one to use on assignments and examination forms.
M.Com Course Books Semester by Semester
Every learner in a given M.Com semester needs the same set of codes, because the current programme table offers no electives; the book list follows the semester, and the medium follows the admission record.
Semester 1: MCO-01, MCO-04, MCO-05 and MCO-021
MCO-01 · MCO-04 · MCO-05 · MCO-021
Four books in English or Hindi: 4 × ₹249 + ₹100 delivery = ₹1,096 as hard copies, or 4 × ₹99 = ₹396 as soft copies. IGNOU’s assignment booklets print MCO-021 as MCO-21, and both forms point to the same 4-credit Managerial Economics course.
The site also runs a Semester 1 exam guide page in English and a Hindi-medium Semester 1 guide page, and those pages sell a different product. The complete course book covers one course code with its chapters, the latest previous years’ solved papers and the important questions and answers; the semester-wise Last Minute Exam Guide covers a whole semester at ₹249 with the important questions and answers only.
Semester 2: MCO-06 With Three 4-Credit Courses
MCO-06 · MCO-22 · MCO-23 · MCO-24
Four books again, ₹1,096 as hard copies including the single ₹100 delivery charge, or ₹396 as soft copies. The M.Com table prints the three 4-credit codes as MCO-22, MCO-23 and MCO-24, while the B.Com (Honours) table of the same prospectus prints two of them as MCO-023 and MCO-024. Semester 2 also closes the first year: a learner who completes these first 40 credits may exit on request with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (PGDBS).
Semester 3: MCO-03, MCO-07, IBO-02 and MCO-015
MCO-03 · MCO-07 · IBO-02 · MCO-015
Four books, ₹1,096 as hard copies with the one ₹100 delivery charge, or ₹396 as soft copies. The international business courses begin here, and IBO-02 International Marketing Management carries the same title and 6 credits in the PGDIBO table. For the semester-wise guide to these four codes, see the Semester 3 exam guide page.
Semester 4: IBO-01, IBO-06 and the MCOP-001 Project
IBO-01 · IBO-06 · MCOP-001
MCOP-001, the M.Com project, is a 6-credit Semester 4 course in the July 2026 Common Prospectus with no complete course book, which leaves IBO-01 and IBO-06 as the only Semester 4 codes that have one.
Two books: 2 × ₹249 + ₹100 delivery = ₹598 as hard copies, or 2 × ₹99 = ₹198 as soft copies.
Three M.Com courses, IBO-01, IBO-02 and IBO-06, appear with the same titles and 6-credit values in the PGDIBO table of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, where they are printed IBO 1, IBO 2 and IBO 6. The same three books therefore suit a PGDIBO learner holding those codes, while PGDIBO’s IBO 3, IBO 4 and IBO 5 sit outside the M.Com.
What Can You Do When IGNOU’s Printed M.Com Blocks Do Not Arrive?
Check IGNOU’s dispatch status first, write to the Material Production and Distribution Division if the status shows material that never came, and read the course on eGyanKosh in the meantime. The dispatch status of printed material is checked on the official study material status page linked from ignou.ac.in. That page is IGNOU’s study material status section, the one status route the prospectus lists, although other status addresses circulate on third-party pages.
When printed M.Com blocks do not arrive, section 14.13 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus directs the learner to write to the Registrar of the Material Production and Distribution Division. Non-receipt of printed study material is taken up with the Registrar, Material Production and Distribution Division (MPDD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi 110068, at mpdd@ignou.ac.in. The prospectus contact table adds the telephone numbers 011-29572008 and 29572012, and section 14.13 also records that the University does not hold itself responsible when material it has sent is not received, whatever the reason.
| Situation | Official route |
|---|---|
| Printed blocks have not arrived | Check the status page with the enrolment number; the enrolment number lookup guide helps when the number is not at hand. |
| Status shows dispatch, parcel never came | Write to the MPDD at mpdd@ignou.ac.in or call 011-29572008; a formal complaint can also go through IGNOU’s iGRAM grievance portal. |
| Digital material chosen at admission | A learner who opts for the soft copy of the self-learning material in the online admission form receives a 15 per cent concession on the programme fee and is not sent printed material. The course is then read on eGyanKosh or the IGNOU e-Content app. |
| Wrong course or wrong medium sent | The Regional Centre handles course and medium corrections. A course change is permitted within 30 days of receiving the first set of material, at Rs.600 for a 2 or 4 credit course and Rs.1,200 for a 6 or 8 credit course at Master’s level. |
| The text is needed before the parcel | Read the course on eGyanKosh; the site’s eGyanKosh walkthrough and its Gyankosh search tips explain the repository. |
| Blocks show an older code form | Match the title and credits against the July 2026 table: MCO-1 and MCO-01, or MCO-22 and MCO-022, are the same course. |
On a narrow screen, move the routes table sideways.
Because the current M.Com table has no electives, the 30-day window is mainly relevant when a course on the record needs correcting. The prospectus gives no dispatch timetable for printed material, and this page does not estimate one.
Hindi or English, MCO-22 or MCO-022: Is Your M.Com Edition Current?
The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists English and Hindi as the two media of the M.Com, and its semester table of 15 codes is the current edition of the programme; a book or block set built on another code list belongs to an older structure. The complete course book is prepared in each medium IGNOU offers for the programme, and your medium is confirmed with your course codes on WhatsApp.
MCOM is IGNOU’s programme code for the Master of Commerce, printed M.Com on its documents; MCOMOL is the online-mode variant, and the older year-wise M.Com issued MCO-01 and MCO-03 to MCO-07 as one year’s set.
- Myth: Hindi-medium M.Com material does not exist. Fact: The prospectus lists Hindi as an M.Com medium, and eGyanKosh holds a Hindi collection for MCO-01 under its Devanagari title, read on 19 September 2026.
- Myth: MCO-22 and MCO-022 are two different courses. Fact: Both name Quantitative Analysis for Managerial Applications, a 4-credit Semester 2 course, and the same holds for MCO-23 with MCO-023 and MCO-24 with MCO-024.
- Myth: An M.Com first-year set of IBO-01 to IBO-06 fits a learner admitted today. Fact: That set follows the older year-wise structure. IGNOU’s 2024 assignment archive still keeps separate folders for old and new M.Com learners, and the new Semester 1 is MCO-01, MCO-04, MCO-05 and MCO-021.
- Myth: Online and distance M.Com learners sit the same paper pattern. Fact: IGNOU’s June 2023 MCOMOL paper for MCO-01 used three sections worth 20, 50 and 30 marks, while the December 2024 distance-mode paper asked for five answers of 20 marks each from nine questions. The course code, and so the course book, stays the same.
- Myth: Changing from English to Hindi means ordering different official blocks. Fact: A medium change is an IGNOU record change handled by the Regional Centre, and a course book’s medium follows whatever IGNOU records.
Learners moving into Semester 2, 3 or 4 confirm their courses through the IGNOU re-registration form guide, and the code printed there is the one to order by.

Printed or PDF, Chosen Code by Code
Hard copy ₹249 per book plus one ₹100 delivery charge per order; soft copy ₹99 per book
Choose Hard or Soft Copy on WhatsAppPDF or Printed Copy: Which Format Suits an M.Com Learner?
For one M.Com code, the soft copy costs ₹150 less than the hard copy, and a hard-copy order adds one ₹100 delivery charge; the better fit depends on how many codes are ordered, how near the paper is and how the learner reads.
Start with the count of codes. With one or two codes, the delivery charge is a large share of a printed order: the two Semester 4 books come to ₹598 in print against ₹198 as PDFs. With four codes the same ₹100 spreads further, so a full Semester 1 or Semester 3 set is ₹1,096 in print against ₹396 as PDFs.
Next, the calendar. The soft copy is sent on WhatsApp after the order is confirmed. The hard copy is dispatched by courier the next day, and the courier details with the tracking ID are sent to you on WhatsApp. No delivery date is promised on this page. If the first paper is days away, the PDF on WhatsApp removes the wait for a parcel; if weeks remain, reading habit can decide.
Last, the reading habit. Paper suits working beside the solutions for courses with numerical work, such as MCO-05, MCO-22 and MCO-07, pencil in hand. Text-heavy courses such as MCO-01, MCO-04 and MCO-06 read comfortably on a phone, and the two formats can be mixed in one order.
Soft copy (PDF)
Soft copy at ₹99 per book, with no delivery charge. Arrives as a file on WhatsApp after confirmation. Suits phone reading, quick searching and a paper that is close.
Hard copy (printed)
₹249 per book, plus one ₹100 delivery charge per order. Leaves by courier the next day, with the tracking ID sent on WhatsApp. Suits annotation, numerical practice and long sittings.
Assignments, Past Papers and Guess Papers for M.Com Codes
IGNOU’s M.Com assignment booklets give assignments a 30 per cent weightage in the final assessment, and M.Com term-end papers such as MCO-01 of December 2024 print a 70 per cent weightage on the question paper itself. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.
Solved answers for the current M.Com assignment session are listed on the solved assignments page. Format, cover page and submission rules are set out in the M.Com assignment guide. Learners who submit handwritten work can follow how handwritten assignments are prepared.
IGNOU’s own past papers are archived at webservices.ignou.ac.in/Pre-Question, where M.Com papers sit in a folder shared with PGDIBO. Worked answers to past papers are collected on the solved question papers page, and single recent papers are gathered on the last year question paper page. Guess papers for the coming session are a separate revision product from the course books.
Evaluated assignment marks show up on the assignment status and result tracker. The 30 and 70 per cent split feeds straight into the IGNOU percentage calculator, while grade points go through the CGPA calculator.
Besides the Books: Other Orders M.Com Learners Place
Hard copies and PDFs can be combined in one M.Com order, for example printed books for MCO-05 and MCO-07 and PDFs for the text-heavy codes. MCOP-001 has no course book, so project topics and report writing go to the IGNOU projects page and the synopsis stage to the synopsis and proposal format guide.
How Does Ordering an M.Com Course Book on WhatsApp Work?
An M.Com book order runs on WhatsApp from the first list of codes to the tracking ID, with the codes checked before anything is paid.
- Send the codes printed on the admission record to +91 93546 37830, with the medium and the choice of hard or soft copy.
- Your course codes are checked free before any payment, so a book that does not match your registration is not sold to you.
- The reply states the total: the number of books times ₹249 plus the one ₹100 delivery charge for hard copies, or the number of books times ₹99 for soft copies.
- After payment, soft copies arrive as files on WhatsApp, and hard copies leave by courier the next day with the tracking ID sent on WhatsApp.
Charges for the site’s other services are listed on the services and charges page. The publisher behind the course books is introduced on the Chakradhar Publication books page.
Sources Behind This M.Com Page and Its Next Review
Four kinds of source stand behind this page, and each is used for one kind of fact only.
- IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. The M.Com table in section 3.1, the credit rule in section 1.9, programme delivery in section 1.11, digital material and non-receipt in section 14.13, course changes in section 14.14, and the student service contact table. A plain-language guide to the IGNOU prospectus sits elsewhere on the site.
- eGyanKosh and IGNOU’s own files, read on 19 September 2026. The MCO-1 collection and its first two blocks, the Hindi MCO-01 collection, the M.Com assignment booklets on webservices.ignou.ac.in, and M.Com question papers from December 2017, June 2023 and December 2024 for code forms, weightage and paper patterns.
- This site’s semester pages. Used only to describe the semester-wise guide, never as a source for IGNOU facts.
- The publisher’s commercial terms. Prices, the ₹100 delivery charge, next-day dispatch and WhatsApp ordering come from Shri Chakradhar Publication.
Block and unit counts appear on this page only where eGyanKosh displayed them on 19 September 2026, so the code table links each course’s official material instead of listing counts. IGNOU marks its December 2026 date sheet tentative, and the dates here follow that version.
Published 19 September 2026. Last reviewed 19 September 2026. Next scheduled review: November 2026, before the December 2026 term-end examination. Corrections can be sent on WhatsApp, and the about ignouproject.com page explains who runs the site.
IGNOU MCOM Books: Questions M.Com Learners Ask
The questions below are ordered by how often M.Com learners raised them across forum threads, comment sections and search results, a proxy for demand rather than a count.
IGNOU posts the printed M.Com blocks to learners who chose printed material, and eGyanKosh carries IGNOU’s digital copies. Complete course books from Shri Chakradhar Publication are a separate, independent option, ordered by course code on WhatsApp at ₹249 per book as a hard copy, with ₹100 delivery once per order, or ₹99 per book as a soft copy.
An M.Com learner whose printed blocks have not arrived should first check IGNOU’s study material status page with the enrolment number. If the status shows dispatch and nothing came, the next step is a letter or email to the Registrar, MPDD, at mpdd@ignou.ac.in, or a call to 011-29572008, while the course is read on eGyanKosh. The prospectus gives no dispatch timetable.
Yes, the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists Hindi alongside English as an M.Com medium. eGyanKosh holds a Hindi collection for MCO-01, and complete course books are prepared in both media, with the medium confirmed on WhatsApp against the admission record.
Yes, MCO-021 Managerial Economics is a 4-credit Semester 1 course in the July 2026 M.Com table. IGNOU’s assignment booklets print it as MCO-21, and both code forms lead to the same course and the same complete course book.
M.Com Semester 1 needs four books, one each for MCO-01, MCO-04, MCO-05 and MCO-021. Together they carry 22 credits, or 660 hours of study at IGNOU’s rate, and the four complete course books cost ₹1,096 as hard copies including the one ₹100 delivery charge, or ₹396 as soft copies.
The eGyanKosh copy is IGNOU’s own M.Com study material, so for learning the syllabus it matches the printed blocks. Whether it is enough depends on time: a complete course book adds the latest previous years’ solved papers and important questions and answers for revision, but it never replaces the blocks.
Read the IGNOU study material first for every M.Com course, because it is the official content each course is built on. A help book helps afterwards, for revision and answer practice, as long as it matches the codes and medium on the admission record.
An IGNOU M.Com complete course book costs ₹249 as a hard copy or ₹99 as a soft copy. A hard-copy order carries one ₹100 delivery charge whatever the number of books, so four printed books cost ₹1,096 and four PDFs cost ₹396.
Yes, MCO-22 and MCO-022 are the same course, Quantitative Analysis for Managerial Applications, worth 4 credits in M.Com Semester 2. The July 2026 prospectus prints the two-digit form in its M.Com table and the three-digit forms MCO-023 and MCO-024 in its B.Com Honours table.
The IGNOU M.Com needs 2,400 hours of learner study, because its 80 credits count 30 hours each. Semesters 1 and 3 carry 660 hours each and Semesters 2 and 4 carry 540, with 180 project hours inside Semester 4.
No, MCOP-001 is the 6-credit M.Com project and has no complete course book. Semester 4 therefore needs books only for IBO-01 and IBO-06, and project topics and report writing are handled on the site’s projects page.
The complete course book is one book per M.Com course code, so Semester 1 means four books. The semester-wise Last Minute Exam Guide is a separate product, sold on the semester pages, that gathers a whole semester’s important questions and answers in one volume.
A soft copy of an M.Com book arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp once the order is confirmed. The hard copy leaves by courier the next day, and the courier name and tracking ID follow on WhatsApp; no delivery date is promised.
A change of M.Com medium is handled by the learner’s Regional Centre, which the July 2026 prospectus names for medium and elective changes. Once IGNOU records the new medium, complete course books can be ordered in that medium.
Check that an M.Com help book carries the codes on the admission record, the medium IGNOU allotted and the current semester structure. Leave aside any book that promises marks or claims to know which questions will be asked, since evaluation belongs to IGNOU.
IGNOU keeps past M.Com question papers in its own archive at webservices.ignou.ac.in, in a folder shared with PGDIBO. The July 2026 prospectus states that papers up to the December 2025 session have been uploaded.
IGNOU’s tentative date sheet starts the December 2026 term-end examination on 25 November 2026. Each M.Com code has its own date within the schedule, which runs to 13 January 2027, and the hall ticket carries the final date.
MCOMOL, the online M.Com, examines courses under the same MCO codes, as IGNOU’s June 2023 MCOMOL paper for MCO-01 shows. Paper patterns can differ; the book is chosen by code.
Yes, IBO-01, IBO-02 and IBO-06 carry the same titles and 6 credits in the PGDIBO table as in the M.Com. PGDIBO’s IBO 3, IBO 4 and IBO 5 are not M.Com courses, and MCO-015 is a different course from IBO 3.
