Ten BEGC Codes Are Yours. Four More Belong To BA English Honours.
BAFEG and BAEGH share the BEGC prefix, the School of Humanities and, at some Study Centres, the same counselling room. They do not share a code list, a credit total or a booklet. This page works from the July 2026 Common Prospectus and five BAFEG-labelled booklets, then prepares the handwritten set for the papers actually printed on your record.

Quick answer. A handwritten assignment is the answer set for IGNOU’s Tutor Marked Assignment questions, written out by hand and handed in as a hard copy at your Study Centre, and for BAFEG, the Bachelor of Arts (English) Major that the School of Humanities runs under IGNOU’s four-year undergraduate framework, the Major papers are ten codes, BEGC 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 108, 109, 110 and 112, each worth 6 credits, alongside minor, skill, ability and value-added papers drawn from other disciplines; ignouproject.com prepares that set one course code at a time. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which for the BEGC Major papers means English, the only medium the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists against BAFEG. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Most BAFEG booklets for the July 2025 and January 2026 cycle print 30 September for the December examination and 31 March for the June one, although BEGC-103 prints 31 October and 30 April. Orders are taken on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830 with your codes and delivery pin code.
When BAFEG Assignments Are Due: 30 September, 31 March, And Two Booklets That Say Otherwise
30 September 2026 is the last date for a January 2026 BAFEG learner sitting the December 2026 term-end examination, on four of the five BAFEG-labelled booklets read on 23 September 2026.
December 2026 examination
30 September 2026
Printed on BEGC-101, BEGC-105, BEGC 113 and BEGM-163. BEGC-103 alone prints 31 October.
June examination
31 March
BEGC-105 printed 30 March 2026 for its July 2025 batch; BEGC-103 prints 30 April. No July 2026 BAFEG booklet had surfaced by 23 September 2026.
The School of Humanities gives BAFEG learners 31 March for the June examination and 30 September for the December examination, tying each assignment to the examination it feeds rather than to the month of admission. The BEGC-101 booklet for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions prints that pair, and so do the BEGC 113 and BEGM-163 booklets. BEGC-105 says the same thing in batch language: 30 September 2026 for the January 2026 batch sitting the December examination. All four files sit in the School of Humanities assignment folder on ignou.ac.in. In practice, a learner admitted in January 2026 who wants to sit the December 2026 examination has until 30 September 2026 to hand the BEGC set in, and should confirm that date with the Study Centre before relying on it.
Two BAFEG booklets from that same July 2025 and January 2026 cycle print different dates. BEGC-103, Indian Writing in English, gives 30 April for the June examination and 31 October for the December one, which is the calendar of the School of Management Studies rather than the School of Humanities. BEGC-105, American Literature, gives 30 March 2026 instead of 31 March for its July 2025 batch. Both are official IGNOU files, so neither can be dismissed as a blog error. When a record mixes codes, work to the earliest date any of them prints and ask the Study Centre coordinator in writing which date they will apply to BEGC-103.
The web adds a third version. A Careers360 article on current assignments puts the December 2026 cut-off at 31 October 2026, which matches BEGC-103 and nothing else in the BAFEG set. Extensions are real but late: an IGNOU study centre’s notification list records the December 2025 cut-off moved to 31 October 2025 and then to 20 November 2025. Each of those was announced close to the date. None was known in advance, and none should be planned around.
Dates also shift by session and by Regional Centre, so the only confirmation that counts is the one on ignou.ac.in and at your own Study Centre.
What The 30 Marks On Every BEGC Paper Decide
Every BAFEG Major paper from BEGC 101 to BEGC 112 carries a 100-mark assignment that becomes a 30 per cent share of that course’s result. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The BAFEG booklets add a condition that matters more than the arithmetic: it is compulsory to submit the assignment before you can take the term-end examination for that course. Ten Major papers over three years means ten separate conditions, each tied to its own code and its own date.
IGNOU has been blunter about it before. The January 2024 BAFEG booklet for BEGLA-135 warned that a learner who misses the date “will not be allowed to appear in the examination”. That sentence is not repeated in the 2025-26 BEGC files, but the rule behind it has not changed.
The writing load is not even. BEGC-101 asks for four reference-to-context answers of about 100 words and four essays of about 350, roughly 1,800 words for 100 marks. BEGC-103 asks for four notes of 200 words, four answers of 350 and five of 600: close to 5,200 words for the same 100 marks. BEGC-105 asks for at least 3,600, since its Section A passages carry no printed limit, and BEGC 113 for 2,500 to 3,000. Two codes, one weighting, three times the pages.
Printed Model Answers Or A Handwritten BAFEG Set: Which One The Study Centre Takes
Only the handwritten set can go to the Study Centre. The two products look similar in a search result, which is why the question keeps arriving.
A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, such as BEGC-105 for July 2025 and January 2026. It is reading material. The BAFEG booklets rule it out as a submission: BEGC-101, BEGC-103, BEGC-105 and BEGC 113 each print the instruction “You should submit the assignment in your own handwriting.” A printed or typed copy of a solved file fails that instruction however good its answers are, so a BAFEG learner uses one only to read against while preparing.
A handwritten assignment is the answer set written out by hand on the paper the booklet names and submitted as a hard copy at the Study Centre against a receipt. For BAFEG the paper differs by code: A4 for BEGC-101 and BEGC 113, foolscap only for BEGC-103 and BEGC-105, either for BEGM-163, according to the July 2025 and January 2026 booklets. That hard copy is the object the BAFEG booklets ask for, and the receipt is the learner’s record that it went in on time.
| Point | Solved assignment | Handwritten assignment |
|---|---|---|
| Format | PDF or printout of model answers | Hand-inked pages on A4 or foolscap, one set per code |
| What you do with it | Read it while you prepare | Review it, fill page one, sign, submit |
| Accepted at a Study Centre | No, the BEGC booklets ask for handwriting | Yes, it is the format the booklets ask for |
| Who it suits | A learner writing the set personally | A learner short of time on one or more codes |
| Price on this site | ₹19 per subject | ₹320 per subject, courier included |

Reading-only answers for the BEGC codes sit among the BEGC model-answer files on the solved assignments hub, priced for reference use. The handwritten route is the one this page describes.
Twelve working rules, each taken from a BAFEG document or from the locked commercial terms.
Ten Major codes, checked first. Section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus stops the BAFEG Major at ten BEGC codes. A code such as BEGC 106 or BEGC 111, which belongs to BA English Honours, is queried with you before a line is written.
The date on your code’s own booklet. A record that mixes BEGC-103 with BEGC-101 is scheduled to the earlier date either booklet prints.
Word limits read section by section. BEGC-105 wants about 300 words in Section B and about 600 in Section C, and each answer is written to the figure printed beside its own section.
Reference to context treated as a separate skill. BEGC-101 opens with four passages from the course texts. Each answer places the passage, names the speaker or source, then explains it.
Choices respected, not padded. BEGC 113 asks for any three of five Section B questions. Three are written.
Question numbers as printed. Every BAFEG booklet read here asks for the relevant question number with each answer, so each answer carries it.
Page one left for you. Enrolment number, name, address, course title, study centre and date are yours to write, plus the assignment number where BEGC-103 and BEGC-105 print that field.
Paper size stated by you. Tell us A4 or foolscap as your booklet names it. BEGM-163 allows either; BEGC-105 says only foolscap.
Common-pool papers on the same terms. BEVAE 181, BPAG 171, BCOS 183 or any other minor, skill or value-added code on a BAFEG record follows its own school’s booklet and is priced like a BEGC paper.
English for the Major. The BEGC papers are English medium. A common-pool code that IGNOU also posts in Hindi, BPSM-161 for instance, can be written in Hindi.
Backlog back to the first batch. BAFEG opened with the January 2024 session. A paper from any cycle since then is prepared from that cycle’s questions.
One code is a complete order. A learner short of BEGC-110 alone orders BEGC-110 alone.
Short Of One BEGC Paper, Or All Ten?

Get A Quote For My BAFEG PapersBAFEG Course Codes: Ten BEGC Papers, 120 Credits, And The Codes That Only Look Like Yours
BAFEG’s Major is ten BEGC courses of 6 credits each, 60 credits in all, inside a 120-credit three-year Major degree that becomes a 160-credit Honours degree after a fourth year. Section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists the ten codes, and the Bachelor of Arts section that precedes it fixes Discipline Specific Courses at 60 credits, which ten times six matches exactly. The same section sets exit points at 40 plus 4 credits for a UG Certificate, 80 plus 4 for a UG Diploma and 120 for the degree with Major. A BAFEG learner therefore writes one assignment for each of the ten Major codes across three years, plus one for every minor, skill, ability, interdisciplinary and value-added course on the record.

The prospectus prints these codes without a semester column. Its structure template places one Major course in each of semesters 1 and 2 and two in each of semesters 3 to 6, but it never pins BEGC 107 or BEGC 110 to a particular semester. Your Samarth admission or re-registration record does, and that record decides which BEGC papers you write this cycle.
| Semester | What the template places there | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Major 1 (6), vocational minor (4), interdisciplinary course (6), skill course 1 (4) | 20 |

The rest of a BAFEG record comes from a common pool that every four-year BA shares. The table below lists what the July 2026 prospectus offers in the first to fourth semesters, with the one restriction that bites an English Major.
| Category | Credits each | Codes listed | For a BAFEG learner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interdisciplinary | 6 | BHDG 175, BPAG 171, BPCG 171, BPYI 101, BMDG 171, BABG 171, BDIG 171, BSOG 171, BSKG 178, BEGG 171 | BEGG 171 is English, and the course must sit outside your Major, so it is not open to BAFEG |
| Ability enhancement | 4 | BEVAE 181, then one of BEGAE 182, BHDAE 182, BSKAE 182, BUDAE 182 | No restriction |
| Value-added | 6 | BEDSV 101, BNME 001 | One, in semester 2 |
| Vocational minor | 4 | BECS 184, BPAS 184, BHDS 184, BCOS 185, BCOS 186 | Three across three years, one more for an early exit |
| Skill enhancement | 4 | 24 codes, among them BMPS 183, BEGS 183, BEGS 185, BEGS 186, BCOS 183, BSSS 183, BPCS 183 | Four, in semesters 1, 4, 5 and 6 |
| Discipline minor | 4 | Three codes each in Urdu, Anthropology, History, Political Science, Psychology, Economics, Sociology, Hindi, Sanskrit and Philosophy | All three from one discipline; English (BEGM 161 to 163) is barred because it is your Major |

The July 2025 and January 2026 BAFEG booklets print their assignment code in two parts, BEGC-101/2025-26 on the cover and TMA 01/2025-26 above the questions, and BEGC 113 prints a third form. BEGC-103, BEGC-105 and BEGM-163 follow the same two-part pattern as BEGC-101. BEGC 113 breaks it with a single string, BEGC 113/TMA/1/2025-2026, the year written in full. Copy the string your own booklet prints: the sample cover on BEGC-103 and BEGC-105 includes an ASSIGNMENT NO line, while BEGC-101 and BEGC 113 leave that line out.
Where IGNOU’s own BAFEG documents disagree, and where this site does
- Three date pairs in one cycle. Five BAFEG-labelled booklets for July 2025 and January 2026 print 31 March and 30 September (BEGC-101, BEGC 113, BEGM-163), 30 March 2026 and 30 September 2026 (BEGC-105), and 30 April and 31 October (BEGC-103).
- Three paper instructions. A4 on BEGC-101 and BEGC 113, foolscap only on BEGC-103 and BEGC-105, foolscap or A4 on BEGM-163.
- A header from the wrong year. The BEGC-105 question page is headed July 2024 and January 2025 sessions, under a cover and a course code that both say 2025-26.
- A minor labelled as the Major. The BEGM-163 booklet reads “Programme: BA English Major (BAFEG)”, although the prospectus bars an English Major from the English minor; the same booklet calls the course “BEGM – 634” in its first paragraph.
- Major or Honours. The BEGC-101, BEGC-103 and BEGC-105 booklets describe themselves as an “English Honours Course” while naming the programme BA English Major.
- Medium. The prospectus programme table lists English alone for BAFEG, its general Bachelor of Arts section says English and Hindi for the whole family, and some solved-file sellers title BEGC-101 “English and Hindi medium”.
- On this website, pending correction. The ignouproject.com home page carries an acceptance assurance backed by a refund, and the per-code pages for MMPC-001 and BCOC-134 promise dispatch within seven days. This page makes neither promise, and both are queued for correction.
BEGC 113, Modern European Drama, has a BAFEG-labelled booklet but no place in the BAFEG Major table. IGNOU posts a BAFEG booklet for BEGC 113 for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions, headed “BA English Major Compulsory Course”, with the assignment code BEGC 113/TMA/1/2025-2026, and an earlier one for January and July 2024. Section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists ten Major codes without it and places BEGC 113 in semester VI of BA English Honours (BAEGH). Write BEGC 113 only if it is printed on your own Samarth record, and if it is, ask the Regional Centre which credit total it counts toward.
How A BAFEG Handwritten Set Is Prepared, From Code Check To Courier
Five steps. Only the first and the last need anything from you.
- Your record is read against the ten-code table. Send the codes as Samarth prints them; BEGC101 without a hyphen is fine. Anything outside the BAFEG Major list, a BEGC 113 or a BEGM minor, is raised with you before a page is started.
- The booklet is matched to your cycle. A learner in the July 2025 or January 2026 cycle gets that cycle’s questions; a backlog paper gets the questions of the cycle printed on the record. The paper size and the due date are taken from that same booklet, never from a neighbouring code.
- A page of your writing is photographed. One full page in your usual pen is enough, and the next section explains what the photo is used for.
- The answers are written to each section’s pattern. Reference-to-context passages, short notes and long essays each get the length their own section prints, with the question number beside every answer and the Section A, B and C order kept as IGNOU set it.
- The set is couriered, and you finish it. You write the top of page one, following the layout in the assignment cover page guide, read every answer, sign where your Study Centre asks, and hand the set in against a receipt.
Matching The Set To The Way You Write
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The most useful photo is a full page of ordinary prose on lined paper, in the blue or black pen you normally use, rather than a signature or a few words.
Over three years a BAFEG learner may submit ten Major sets and a dozen common-pool sets, and many prefer that those pages look consistent from one course to the next. The sample photo is how that is done. It changes nothing in the price.
Writing the BEGC set yourself? Everything needed is free on this site. The step-by-step handwritten assignment walkthrough covers paper, margins and layout school by school; the printable front page format gives you a blank page one; sample assignment pages show finished answers; the format and structure explainer deals with introductions and conclusions, which every BAFEG booklet singles out; and online and offline submission routes covers the day you hand it in.

Order My BEGC Set HandwrittenWhere IGNOU Keeps The BAFEG Question Papers
The BAFEG booklets are on IGNOU’s Current Assignments page at ignou.ac.in, filed by the School of Humanities, and not on the older webservices index that many learners still bookmark. On that older index, the Four Year Under Graduate page for the July 2025 to July 2026 session has a heading for English (BAFEG) and an empty cell beneath it, which explains a complaint that recurs in learner forums: the official website seemed to show no assignment link at all.
- Open the Current Assignments page. Go to IGNOU’s assignment download page on ignou.ac.in.
- Search by the code, then by BAFEG. Type BEGC-101 or your own code. The School of Humanities files carry names such as BAFEG-BEGC-101-July-25-Jan-26.
- Pick the BAFEG row, not the BAEGH one. BEGC-103 has a separate BA English Honours booklet for the same cycle, with its own cover and programme line.
- Read the cover and the last-date box before anything else. The cycle on the cover must match your record, and the date inside is the one your code carries.
If a code’s paper is missing altogether, an assignment-section FAQ circulating among IGNOU Study Centres tells learners to email the course coordinator in the school concerned. For BAFEG, section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus names Dr. Mridula Rashmi Kindo, mridulak@ignou.ac.in, as programme coordinator. The course blocks themselves are free through eGyanKosh, IGNOU’s digital block library, with an alternative Gyankosh route when the first is slow, and the free official study material download page covers printed blocks.
Tracing A Submitted BEGC Assignment To The Grade Card
Three places record a BAFEG assignment, in this order: the submission status, the marks, and then the grade card beside the term-end result. The first check needs your enrolment number as IGNOU issued it and the programme code BAFEG, and the steps for checking whether IGNOU has recorded a submitted assignment are laid out on this site.
Marks follow later, sometimes weeks later. The BEGC marks lookup once they are uploaded and the explainer on how assignment marks sit on the grade card cover the gap. At the end of the Major, the final grade card for the full programme is the document that lists all ten BEGC codes together.
Two calculators convert what you see. The percentage calculator for IGNOU grades turns a course result into a figure, and the CGPA calculator does the same across semesters. Keep the Study Centre receipt that every BAFEG booklet tells you to take. It is the only record of the day your BEGC set went in.
Other Help BAFEG Learners Ask For In The Same Message
The 70 per cent term-end paper is the other half of every BEGC result, and learners preparing one usually ask about the other. For practice there are IGNOU guess papers for the coming examination, previous year question papers with solutions and a single last year paper per course, useful for seeing how often a BEGC reference-to-context passage comes back. For revision, condensed IGNOU study notes, IGNOU help books and guide books ordered online cover the literature papers.
Households often hold more than one enrolment. The BAM handwritten assignment page covers the multidisciplinary BA, whose English papers run BEGC 131 to BEGC 134 rather than BAFEG’s series, and the MA English handwritten assignment page covers the next step up, with the School of Humanities MA English overview for the programme itself. The research credits of an Honours fourth year are a different kind of work, and topic and report help sits on the IGNOU projects page with proposal drafting on the synopsis format page. Rates for anything outside assignment writing are on the fee list for non-assignment services.
Medium, cycle and naming.
BAFEG’s BEGC Major papers are English medium. The programme table in the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists English alone against BAFEG, even though the general Bachelor of Arts section a few pages later gives English and Hindi as the medium for the four-year BA family as a whole, and every BAFEG booklet read for this page is in English. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For a BAFEG learner that means English for BEGC 101 to 112, and Hindi only for a common-pool code IGNOU also posts in Hindi, a route explained on the Hindi-medium assignment page.
A BAFEG paper belongs to a named cycle. The booklets read here are headed July 2025 and January 2026, and a learner re-registering for a later cycle writes that later cycle’s questions under the same code. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. No BAFEG booklet dated July 2026 had surfaced on ignou.ac.in by 23 September 2026.
BAFEG is the programme code: the same F appears in every four-year-framework code in section 5 of the prospectus, BAFHI, BAFEC, BCOMF and BFSW among them, and it does not stand for Functional English, whatever several copied pages claim. BAEGH is the older BA English Honours, and English studied as one discipline of the general Bachelor of Arts (BAG) programme uses different codes again.
Placing A BAFEG Order: Three Messages, Five Details
- Message the codes. One WhatsApp message to +91 93546 37830 with the five details below.
- Confirm the quote. The reply states the total at ₹320 per code and the delivery position for your pin code. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
- Pay and receive. The set is couriered to you; the final step, handing the finished pages in at the Study Centre, is yours.
The five details, in the order that saves a reply:
- The codes as your Samarth record prints them, BEGC and common-pool alike.
- The cycle on that record, July 2025, January 2026 or older.
- The paper your booklet names, A4 or foolscap, if you have read it already.
- A photo of one page of your own handwriting.
- The delivery address with its pin code.
Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
Sources Behind This BAFEG Page And What They Could Not Settle
From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: the ten BEGC Major codes, their titles and credits (section 5.1), the four-year structure template, the 60-credit Major total, the 120 and 160 credit awards, the exit points, the common-pool course lists and the rule that minor and interdisciplinary courses sit outside the Major. A guide to the document itself is on the IGNOU prospectus page.
From IGNOU’s live booklets, read on 23 September 2026: BEGC-101, BEGC-103, BEGC-105, BEGC 113 and BEGM-163 for July 2025 and January 2026, from the School of Humanities folder on ignou.ac.in, plus the January 2024 BEGLA-135 booklet. Dates, paper sizes, section patterns, word limits, assignment strings and cover layouts on this page come from those files.
The publisher’s own commercial terms: the ₹320 rate, courier inside that rate, hard copy only, all mediums, any session, handwriting matching at no charge, no minimum order and no promised delivery time. These are ignouproject.com’s terms, not IGNOU’s.
What the research could not settle. Five BAFEG booklets were read; BEGC 102, 104, 107, 108, 109, 110 and 112 were not, so their dates and paper sizes are not stated here. The prospectus does not say which semester each BEGC code belongs to, nor why BEGC 113 carries a BAFEG booklet. No July 2026 BAFEG booklet was found, so dates for the June 2027 examination rest on the pattern of the current files rather than on a printed page. Where a gap remains, the page says so instead of filling it.
BAFEG Handwritten Assignment Questions Learners Ask

For a January 2026 learner sitting the December 2026 examination, four of the five booklets give 30 September 2026. Confirm on ignou.ac.in and with your Study Centre, because dates shift by session and extensions are announced late, if at all.
A printed or typed BAFEG assignment cannot be submitted. BEGC-101, BEGC-103, BEGC-105 and BEGC 113 each instruct: “You should submit the assignment in your own handwriting.” An assignment-section FAQ that circulates among IGNOU Study Centres answers the typed question the same way, online or by hand. A printed file is reading material for a BAFEG learner, never the submission.
The paper depends on the BAFEG course code, because the July 2025 and January 2026 booklets disagree. BEGC-101 and BEGC 113 say A4; BEGC-103 and BEGC-105 say only foolscap; BEGM-163 accepts foolscap or A4. Follow the booklet printed for your own code, and tag all the pages carefully, which all five of those booklets ask.
No. The BAFEG booklets state that it is compulsory to submit the assignment before you can take the term-end examination, and the January 2024 BEGLA-135 booklet said a learner who misses the date will not be allowed to appear. The condition applies code by code, so a missing BEGC-107 set affects BEGC-107, not the rest of your papers.
Ten Major codes, BEGC 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 108, 109, 110 and 112, per section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, plus one assignment for each minor, skill, ability, interdisciplinary and value-added course on your record. The prospectus prints no semester against each code, so your Samarth record decides what you write this cycle. BEGC 106, 111, 113 and 114 are BA English Honours codes in the same prospectus.
On IGNOU’s Current Assignments page at ignou.ac.in, where School of Humanities files carry names such as BAFEG-BEGC-101-July-25-Jan-26. Search the code, choose the row labelled BAFEG, and check the cycle on the cover. The older webservices index shows an empty English (BAFEG) cell for the July 2025 to July 2026 session, so it is the wrong place to look.
Email the programme coordinator at the School of Humanities; section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists Dr. Mridula Rashmi Kindo, mridulak@ignou.ac.in, for BAFEG. Before writing, search the Current Assignments page by course code rather than by programme, because several BAFEG files are indexed under the code alone, BEGC-113-2025-2026 among them.
BAFEG is the four-year-framework BA (English), with ten BEGC Major codes inside a 120-credit Major degree and a 160-credit Honours degree; BAEGH is the older BA English Honours, with 14 BEGC core courses inside 148 credits. Both belong to the School of Humanities and share titles from BEGC 101 to 112, but BAEGH adds BEGC 106, 111, 113 and 114, and a shared code such as BEGC-103 has a separate booklet for each programme. The programme code on your admission record decides which booklet is yours.
Enter your enrolment number and the programme code BAFEG on IGNOU’s assignment status page, then wait for marks and the grade card entry, which arrive later. Keep the Study Centre receipt the BAFEG booklets tell you to take, because it records the day each BEGC set went in if a status line stays blank.
A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers you read; a handwritten assignment is the answer set written by hand and handed in. For BAFEG the difference decides the submission, because the BEGC booklets ask for your own handwriting, so only the handwritten set goes to the Study Centre. Some learners use both, the file for reading and the handwritten set for handing in.
No. A downloaded PDF, printed or not, does not meet the handwriting instruction in the BEGC booklets. Read it, then submit a handwritten copy on the paper your own booklet names.
No soft copy or PDF is sold. If a Regional Centre or Study Centre asks for an upload, scan the handwritten hard copy you received and send that scan the way the centre instructs; some centres want the question paper and a copy of the IGNOU identity card in the same file. The handwritten pages stay the original.
₹320 for each BEGC or common-pool paper. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. All ten BEGC Major papers together come to ₹3,200.
No fixed time is given, because the courier leg depends on where you are. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Name the cut-off you are working to in your first message.
Not for the BEGC Major papers. The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists English as the BAFEG medium and every BAFEG booklet read for this page is in English, whatever some solved-file titles claim. Common-pool codes differ: IGNOU posts BPSM-161 and BECM-161 in both English and Hindi, and those can be written in Hindi at the same price.
Only if BEGC 113 is printed on your own Samarth record. IGNOU publishes a BAFEG-labelled BEGC 113 booklet, but the July 2026 Common Prospectus leaves BEGC 113 out of the BAFEG Major table and places it in semester VI of BA English Honours. If it is on your record, the July 2025 and January 2026 paper asks for five 20-mark answers, two compulsory and three chosen from five, on A4, by 31 March 2026 or 30 September 2026.
Not under the July 2026 Common Prospectus, which requires discipline-specific minor courses to come from a discipline other than the Major. BEGM 161 to 163 are the English minor for learners whose Major is History, Economics or another subject. The BEGM-163 booklet is still labelled BA English Major (BAFEG), which is why the question keeps coming up; the label does not override the prospectus rule.
Nobody can promise marks, but the BAFEG booklets say what they assess: your application and understanding of the course material rather than reproduced chunks of it, in answers that are logical, in simple and correct English, within the word limit and neatly written. They also single out the introduction and the conclusion of every essay answer. How an evaluator marks the set is IGNOU’s decision alone.
