IGNOU MAJDM Handwritten Assignment: A Due Date No Booklet Prints, Three Code Formats In Two Years, And A Programme Guide That Counts The Courses Three Ways

Every MAJDM assignment file read for this page tells you to check the University website for the due date, in the same PDF that says the deadline is given for each assignment. Send the MNM and MJM codes on your registration record and the handwritten set arrives inked on A-4.

  • 80 credits, 18 rows
  • 16 papers set questions
  • 5 answers of 500 words
  • No printed due date
  • English, Hindi answers allowed
  • Year wise, not semester

₹320 for one course code · written by hand · courier already inside that figure · any cycle accepted

Send Your MNM Codes For A MAJDM Quote

Four things settle a quote: the codes as your registration record spells them, whether you sit in Year One or Year Two, the session heading on the file you downloaded, and your delivery pin code. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Quick answer. A handwritten assignment is the answer set for IGNOU’s Tutor Marked Assignment questions, written out by hand on A-4 and handed in as a hard copy at the Study Centre allotted to you, and for MAJDM, the 80-credit Master of Arts (Journalism and Digital Media) run year wise over two years by the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, whose eighteen printed rows sit under four prefixes (MNM on eleven theory papers, MJM on three theory papers borrowed from the mass communication degree, MNML on the practical and MNMP on the project), ignouproject.com prepares that handwritten set one course code at a time. Sixteen codes carry a Tutor Marked Assignment: MNM-011, MJM-021, MNM-003, MJM-023, MNM-013, MNM-014, MJM-025 and MNM-037 in Year One, then MNM-030, MNM-031, MNM-032, MNM-033, MNM-034, MNM-035, MNM-036 and MNM-038 in Year Two, while the eight-credit MNML-012 practical and the eight-credit MNMP-012 project set none. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which on MAJDM is English on the published files, although the MAJDM Programme Guide states that the University allows students to submit assignments in Hindi. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent, collected on MAJDM through one 100-mark paper per code built from five compulsory questions of twenty marks each to be attempted in about 500 words, and every MAJDM file read for this page prints no due date at all. Orders go to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830 with the codes, the year and the session heading on your own file.

No MAJDM Booklet Prints A Due Date, And All Three Say So

There is no printed MAJDM submission date. Three MAJDM assignment files were opened for this page, two from the January and July 2026 set and one from the January and July 2025 set, and all three carry the identical parenthetical line under the course title: check the University website for the latest update on the due date. None of the three prints a day or a month.

What makes it a conflict rather than an omission is the paragraph four lines above it. The 2026 files open by telling you that the submission deadline is provided for each assignment. The 2025 file words the same promise as the last date of submission being given for each assignment. Then each file reaches the assignment block and declines to give one. That is one PDF disagreeing with itself, and it does so on all three files across two academic sessions, which rules out a typing slip.

September 2026 / March 2027

The only date pair printed above the MAJDM assignment code on the current set. It names the two Term End Examination windows the paper is written towards, not a submission cut-off. The 2025 files print September 2025 and March 2026 in the same position.

January 2026 and July 2026

The second pair, printed directly beneath the assignment code. These are the two admission cycles the paper applies to. Neither pair is a deadline, and nothing on the file converts either into one.

Study-help pages fill the gap anyway. One well-ranked MAJDM assignment page publishes a two-row table giving 30 September for the December examination and 31 March for the June one. Those are real IGNOU dates for several School of Social Sciences and School of Humanities programmes. They appear nowhere on any MAJDM file. A learner planning a month of evenings around a borrowed date has no way of knowing which programme it was borrowed from.

Two dates do exist in writing for MAJDM, and they belong to something else entirely. The MAJDM Programme Guide sets the last date for submission of the dissertation or production portfolio at 31 May for the June examination and 30 November for the December one. That sentence sits inside the MNMP-012 description and governs the eight-credit project alone. It is not the Tutor Marked Assignment date, and the two should not be run together when you are planning sixteen theory papers.

So the practical position is this. Write to the examination you intend to sit, keep the September and March pair on your own file in view, and take the operative date from ignou.ac.in and from your Regional Centre, because the booklet itself sends you there. IGNOU also issues university-wide extension notices that override anything a file printed, and those move by cycle. Nothing on this page expires by any design of ignouproject.com, and the only legitimate urgency for a MAJDM learner is whatever the University has currently posted for their own cycle.

Thirty Marks Per Code, Five Answers Of Five Hundred Words

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On MAJDM that share arrives as one 100-mark paper per course code, and all three files read for this page build it identically: five questions, no choice, twenty marks each, to be attempted in about 500 words.

Five answers at 500 words is 2,500 words in longhand for one code. Multiply that out and the year takes shape. Year One sets eight theory papers, so 40 answers and 20,000 words. Year Two sets eight more, so 40 answers and 20,000 words again. Across the degree that is 16 papers, 80 answers and roughly 40,000 handwritten words, before a single term-end paper is revised for.

The questions themselves are the reason the total hurts. MAJDM does not set definitions. MNM-011 asks you to observe digital access in your own home, workplace or neighbourhood, name two non-access barriers and tie them to a concept of digital inequality with Indian examples. It then asks you to read a real news report on a recent cybercrime, identify one relevant objective of India’s Cyber Security Policy, and judge whether the provisions look adequate from a user’s side. MNM-031 asks you to pick a platform and explain how Social Network Analysis would study information flow across it, and to find a website or news portal that has changed or disappeared and argue why web archiving matters. Those are answers you build from fieldwork and reading, not from recall, and 500 words is the space each one needs rather than padding room.

One line moved between sessions. The 2026 files print Weightage: 30% directly under Maximum Marks: 100. The 2025 second-year file prints the hundred and omits the weightage line altogether. The share did not change, the Programme Guide states it plainly, but if you are working from an older download the sentence confirming it is simply not there.

A mark once entered against an MNM code stays attached to it, and the MAJDM Programme Guide is blunt about the reason: there is no re-evaluation of assignments. The assignment status and result tracker is therefore worth opening in the weeks after submission rather than the month before your examination, because a missing entry is fixable and a low one is not.

A File On A Screen Against A Bundle At A Counter

Two different products reach this WhatsApp number described in nearly the same words, and only one can be handed across a Study Centre counter, so each is defined before either is compared. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one MNM or MJM code in one session, opened beside the digital media blocks so you can see how far a twenty-mark reply actually has to go before you draft your own. A handwritten assignment is those same five answers inked onto A-4, tied one code at a time, and carried in hard copy to the Study Centre your enrolment names. Printing the first does not produce the second.

IGNOU closes the question in its own words on this programme rather than leaving it to inference. The MAJDM Programme Guide instructs learners to write the responses to assignments in their own handwriting, and follows it with a four-word sentence: do not print or type the answers. It adds that the answers should be your own, that you must not reproduce text material verbatim, and that a copied response sheet will see the assignment rejected.

The handwritten column sits off the right edge on a narrow screen; drag the table sideways to reach it.

On MAJDM the gap between reading a file and submitting one widens further than on most programmes, because a large share of the questions cannot be answered from any model at all. MNM-011 wants the barriers you observed in your own neighbourhood. MNM-031 wants a study you located and a portal you watched disappear. MNM-030 asks you to take one message you personally encountered on two or more digital platforms and compare them. No reference file can supply your neighbourhood, your platform habits or your news feed, so on those questions a solved file shows you the shape of a reply and nothing more. Where a reference file is genuinely what you came for, the catalogue of IGNOU solved assignments indexed by programme and course code is where it lives. It is a reading aid, it is not a submission, and neither product replaces the blocks IGNOU already posted to you.

Twelve Things Settled Before An MNM Code Is Priced

Six of these are where a MAJDM order actually goes wrong. Six are limits this page will not soften for anybody.

One rate across four prefixes. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. An MNM theory paper and an MJM paper borrowed from the mass communication degree are priced identically, because the sheet behind each is the same hundred marks and the same five answers.

Your booklet session decides the code form. A 2025 MAJDM paper carries a session suffix on its assignment code and a 2026 paper does not. The session heading on your own download is asked for first, because it changes what belongs on the cover.

Which year you sit in is confirmed, never inferred. MAJDM is examined year wise, and the two years use different booklets with different headings, different code punctuation and, in 2025, different course counts.

The assignment code is copied, not built. The 2026 second-year file heads its paper MNM031 and prints Assignment Code: MNM031 with no hyphen. The 2026 first-year file prints MNM-011 with one. Whatever your paper prints is what goes on your cover sheet.

MNML-012 and MNMP-012 are named and removed. The eight-credit Digital Journalism Practical and the eight-credit Internet Research Project set no Tutor Marked Assignment. Should either appear in what you send, it is pointed out and struck from the total rather than billed.

Padding is resolved rather than bounced. The July 2026 Common Prospectus prints MNM 011 with a space, the Programme Guide prints MNM-011 with a hyphen and MNM037 with neither. Send the form your own record carries and it is matched to the right paper.

Matched to the hand you already write in. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. A year-wise degree puts twelve months between your two bundles by design, which is a long time for one person’s writing to stay recognisable by accident.

Whichever medium your own file came in. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MAJDM the published files are English, and the Programme Guide separately permits Hindi answers, so say which you intend to write in.

Ordered by code, never by year. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A learner short of three second-year papers sends three codes, not a year.

A backlog code is ordinary work. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A 2025 paper is answered against the 2025 questions, not this year’s replacements.

Paper only, never a file. No soft copy or PDF is sold. If your Regional Centre also wants an upload, you scan the pages yourself once they reach you, which means the inked original never leaves your hands before a receipt exists for it.

Nothing is claimed about the outcome. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Send The Session Heading Too, Not Just The Codes

Paste the codes as your registration confirmation prints them and add the line at the top of the file you downloaded, the one naming the admission cycles. The reply names the year each code sits in, whether IGNOU publishes a paper behind it, the code form that session actually uses, and a total that prices only the papers that exist. MNML-012 and MNMP-012 are flagged and removed rather than quietly billed.

Eighty Credits Across Eighteen Rows, And The Sixteen That Set Questions

Sixteen MAJDM codes carry a Tutor Marked Assignment out of eighteen printed rows. MAJDM is the programme code on your admission record and in section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, which places it in the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, records eligibility as a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, gives the medium of instruction as English, and sets a two-year minimum against a four-year maximum at ₹10,000 per year, ₹20,000 in total. The programme summary table records MAJDM as year wise across the January and July cycles, so nothing on this page is laid out by semester.

The 80-credit total was confirmed by addition rather than accepted on sight, because column bleed between adjacent prospectus tables is a known failure on this document. Year One: eight theory papers at four credits is thirty-two, and MNML-012 at eight takes it to forty. Year Two: eight theory papers at four credits is thirty-two again, and MNMP-012 at eight takes it to forty. Forty and forty is the eighty section 3.63 states.

Four prefixes carry the 18 MAJDM codes. MNM sits on 11 theory papers. MJM sits on 3 theory papers the digital media degree borrows outright from the mass communication degree in the same school. MNML-012 is the single practical and MNMP-012 the single project. A MAJDM learner therefore writes under two different prefixes inside Year One, which is worth knowing before you search an index for a missing paper.

Drag the table sideways if your screen cuts off the question-paper column.

Year One is 40 credits, eight papers to write, and one course that sets no assignment at all. Those same nine rows are also an entire separate award. Section 8.26 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists the Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media as exactly these nine codes at forty credits, in the same order, with the same titles. Section 3.63 confirms the route from the other direction, stating that on completing the first year a student is issued with PGDIDM.

The assignment file makes the overlap visible. The 2026 first-year MAJDM paper is headed for PGDIDM, PGDIDMOL, and first-year MAJDM and MAJDMOL learners together. Four programme codes, one paper. If you are sitting the diploma and the degree learner beside you is writing an identical bundle, the thing that separates the two submissions is the programme code each of you writes on the cover sheet. Write yours deliberately.

MNM-037 breaks the numbering. Year Two runs MNM-030 through MNM-036 and then MNM-038, so MNM-037 is numerically inside the second-year block while being taught and examined in the first. It is also the one first-year code the Programme Guide prints without a hyphen, as MNM037, which is the same thing the second-year booklets do to every code they carry.

Year Two: Eight Theory Papers And The One The 2025 Booklet Left Out

The cross-source note sits in the last column; drag the table across to reach it.

MNM-038 is the code to check on your own record. The consolidated 2025 second-year file names seven theory courses on its cover, MNM030 to MNM036, and its instruction paragraph says one assignment for each seven theory course. Section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus and the MAJDM Programme Guide both list eight, adding Digital Media Economics. So a learner holding the 2025 file has no MNM-038 paper in it, and a learner reading the current structure has a code the older file never issued against.

Two of the eight second-year codes travel outside MAJDM. Section 3.62 of the same prospectus sets three lateral-entry routes into MAJMC by credit value, and two of those routes add MNM-034 Mobile Journalism and MNM-036 Digital Media Literacy to a mass communication learner’s second-year list. A paper written for the digital media degree is therefore also written by people enrolled elsewhere, which is one reason the MNM block is broader than MAJDM alone. MNM-023, for instance, is not a MAJDM code at all: its file on the same server is headed for the Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Integrated Communications.

Where IGNOU’s Own MAJDM Documents Disagree With Each Other

  • A due date that refuses to be a date. All three MAJDM files read for this page state that the submission deadline is provided for each assignment, and then print, for each assignment, an instruction to check the University website for the due date. The contradiction survives across the 2025 and 2026 sets and across both years.
  • Three assignment-code formats in two sessions. The 2025 first-year file prints Assignment Code: MNM-011/Jan&July25. The 2025 second-year file prints MNM030/Jan&July25. The 2026 files drop the session segment entirely and print MNM-011 and MNM031. A 2026 assignment code therefore carries nothing at all identifying which cycle it belongs to.
  • The hyphen depends on which year you are in. First-year MAJDM files hyphenate, as MNM-011 and MNM-014, and join the two cycles with an ampersand: January 2026 & July 2026. Second-year files drop the hyphen, as MNM030 and MNM031, and join the cycles with a slash: January 2026 / July 2026. Same school, same session, same coordinator, two conventions.
  • A programme code that exists once and is wrong. Section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus writes that upon completion of the first year of MADJM a student is issued with PGDIDM. MADJM appears exactly once in the whole prospectus and nowhere else in it. The MAJDM Programme Guide does the same thing twice in the other direction, writing MAJMD in its counselling section and again in the heading of its study-centre annexure.
  • The Programme Guide counts the courses three ways. Its credit-system paragraph says the 80 credits are equally distributed in seven courses. Its structure section lists sixteen theory courses, one practical and one project. Its instructional-system section says there are eighteen blocks for all five theory courses. Three counts, one document.
  • Five Tutor Marked Assignments or sixteen. The Programme Guide states that for the MAJDM programme of 80 credits there are 5 Tutor Marked Assignments evaluated by the counsellors, and states in the same section that there is one assignment for each theory course. With sixteen theory courses those two sentences cannot both be describing the same programme.
  • MNM-038 has two titles. Section 3.63 prints Digital Media Economics. The Programme Guide prints Digital Media Economy in its structure table and again as the heading of the course-content block. The code and the four credits are identical in both, so this is one course with two official titles.
  • MJM-025 has two titles inside each document. Section 3.62 of the prospectus, covering MAJMC, calls it Media Ethics and Laws. Section 3.63, covering MAJDM on the following page, calls it Media Laws and Ethics. The Programme Guide repeats the split on its own: the structure table says Media Laws and Ethics and the course-content heading says Media Ethics and Laws.
  • The cover-page field list is five long or eleven long. Every MAJDM assignment file asks for five items on the first page: Enrolment Number, Name, Address, Assignment Code and Study Centre Code. The Programme Guide prints a full response-sheet layout instead, with Programme Title, Programme Code, Course Code, Course Title, Assignment Code and Study Centre down the left and Enrolment No, Name, Address, Signature and Date down the right. Fill the eleven and you have satisfied both.
  • English medium, Hindi answers. Section 3.63 records the medium of instruction as English, and the assignment index publishes English files. The Programme Guide states that the University allows students to submit assignments, project works and take the examination in Hindi, and advises that learners may take admission having fluency in Hindi. Both are current, and they answer different questions.
  • Three filename conventions on one school index. The current MAJDM files sit at paths such as MNM-011-2026.pdf. The older consolidated second-year file sits at MNM-030.pdf with no year at all, while a sibling SOJNMS file in the same folder brackets its year instead and reads MNM-002(2025).pdf. Do not type a MAJDM file address from memory.
  • On this website, pending correction. An acceptance assurance backed by a refund still sits on the ignouproject.com home page, and acceptance is a decision the university alone makes. A dispatch window counted in working days still appears on the MMPC-001 course page, and pin codes do not behave that uniformly. None of them is repeated here, both are wrong, and both are queued for removal. Where either disagrees with this page, this page governs.

Neither table here outranks the admission document IGNOU posted to you, and neither is meant to. Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment. The prospectus edition behind both tables is catalogued in the IGNOU prospectus archive.

How Sixteen MNM And MJM Bundles Get Written

Five stages sit between your first message and the parcel. On MAJDM the first two carry most of the risk, because the thing most likely to spoil a digital media bundle is answering the 2025 questions under a 2026 code form.

  1. The session heading on your file decides everything downstream. Every code you send is checked against the eighteen rows in section 3.63, placed in Year One or Year Two, and then matched against the file heading you quote. A first-year file headed for PGDIDM and MAJDM together and a second-year file headed for MAJDM alone set different questions, use different code punctuation, and in the 2025 cycle covered different numbers of courses.
  2. The code form is copied from your own paper. MNM-011 or MNM-011/Jan&July25, MNM031 or MNM030/Jan&July25: the four possibilities are not interchangeable, and the correct one is whichever your download prints. MNML-012 and MNMP-012 are set aside with a note rather than priced, because IGNOU publishes no Tutor Marked Assignment behind either.
  3. Five answers are laid out at 500 words each. There is no choice on a MAJDM paper and no short-answer section: five questions, twenty marks apiece, attempted in about 500 words. The length is fixed before drafting so that a 2,500-word paper does not arrive as 1,400 or 4,000.
  4. Each answer is built from the digital media blocks. A question on digital inequality, on India’s Cyber Security Policy, on Social Network Analysis or on web archiving is answered from the units IGNOU issued, because your counsellor marks against those units. They cost nothing: eGyanKosh holds them, the alternate Gyankosh route helps when that repository stalls, and IGNOU books download indexes the wider set. Where a question asks for your own observation, the drafting note asks you for it rather than inventing one.
  5. Blue or black on A-4, a four-centimetre left margin, cover page left blank. The MAJDM Programme Guide sets the paper size and the margin itself, asks for a few lines between answers so the evaluator can comment, requires the question to be written out before its answer, and asks for each assignment on a separate set of papers tied carefully. Seeing the sheet before it reaches you helps, so the cover page walkthrough sets out each field and the blank front page format PDF gives a printable version, with the surrounding conventions gathered in assignment format and structure.

One Hand Across Sixteen Bundles

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. A single page written at your normal pace, photographed flat in daylight, already shows the slant, the ascender heights and the joins a writer has to follow across eighty answers.

On MAJDM the case for it is arithmetic. The degree is examined year wise, so a Year One bundle and a Year Two bundle reach a counter about twelve months apart by design, and a four-year permitted span against a two-year minimum widens the gap again. Add a learner who took the PGDIDM exit, paused, and came back into the second year, and a visibly different hand across one enrolment number is exactly the discrepancy nobody needed to create. The photograph is used for the order it belongs to and is discarded with it.

Writing The MAJDM Set Yourself Costs Nothing But Evenings

Everything needed to do this unaided is published free. Start with the handwritten assignment method, explained step by step. A completed sample IGNOU assignment shows the depth a twenty-mark reply is expected to reach. Once the bundles are tied, the comparison of online and offline submission matters more than usual here, because MAJDMOL and PGDIDMOL learners are told by their own file to submit through the LMS while ODL learners hand paper across a counter, and then the submission walkthrough takes over. Because the Programme Guide permits Hindi answers on an English-medium programme, the notes on writing IGNOU assignments in Hindi apply to MAJDM rather than being listed for completeness. This page is for learners short of weeks, not learners short of digital media theory.

Two Free Tools Built Around A Missing Date

Both tools run inside the tab they open in, send nothing anywhere and keep nothing once the page closes. The first exists because 2,500 words a paper across sixteen papers is a figure worth seeing before a month is planned around it, and because MAJDM prints no assignment cut-off to count down to. The second exists because on this programme the useful question is not what a code is called but which year it sits in, whether a paper exists behind it, and what the assignment code line should read for the session you actually downloaded.

Free tool 1

Sixteen-Paper Load And Examination Countdown

Pick where you are in the degree or type a paper count directly, then choose which of the two months printed on your own file you are writing towards. The tool returns the cost at ₹320 each, how many separate answers those papers need at five per paper, the longhand word total at the 500-word limit the file prints, a writing-time estimate, and the days remaining to the end of that printed month, computed from today’s date and rolled forward automatically once it has passed.

Every option excludes MNML-012 and MNMP-012, because IGNOU publishes no Tutor Marked Assignment behind the practical or the project.

A whole number from 1 to 16. Sixteen is every theory paper across both years. Choosing a stage above fills this in for you.

MAJDM files print a month pair such as September 2026 / March 2027 and no submission day at all, so this tool counts to the last day of the month you choose as a planning anchor. Take the operative date from ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre.

Choose a stage or type a paper count, pick a month, then select Work Out Load And Countdown.

Confirm This MAJDM Total On WhatsApp

This tool is guidance from ignouproject.com, not an IGNOU rule. Using it creates no obligation to order anything. The writing-time figure is a planning estimate built on 500 words an hour including reading and drafting, and the countdown runs to the end of a month the file prints rather than to a submission date, because no MAJDM file prints one.

Free tool 2

MNM Code And Booklet-Year Resolver

Type any MAJDM course code in whatever padding you hold it, then say which session heading your download carries. The resolver returns the official title as section 3.63 prints it, any different title the MAJDM Programme Guide uses, the credits, the year, whether IGNOU issues a question paper behind it, and the assignment code exactly as that session’s file writes it, hyphen or no hyphen, suffix or no suffix.

Spaces and hyphens are ignored and both paddings resolve, so MNM 011, MNM-011 and mnm011 all reach the same paper. Read the code off your registration confirmation.

The heading sits at the top of the file, above the letter beginning Dear Learner. It decides whether your assignment code carries a session segment.

Type a code such as MNM 031 or MJM-025, choose a session, then select Resolve This MNM Code.

Have This One MNM Paper Written At ₹320

This tool is guidance from ignouproject.com, not an IGNOU rule. Using it creates no obligation to order anything. Titles and credits follow section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus and the code forms follow the three live MAJDM files read for this page, and both should be checked against the paper in your own hand.

Forty thousand words across a degree, or one message

Keep The Papers You Want To Argue Yourself. Send The Rest.

Nothing here is all or nothing. Whichever MNM or MJM papers you would rather reason through on your own are simply left off the list. Send the ones you have no evenings for, with the session heading on your file, the year you sit in, and one photograph of your handwriting. The reply quotes the file governing each code back to you before writing starts.

One code or all sixteen, the rate does not move.

Four Steps To The Right MAJDM File

MAJDM question papers are free from the University itself, and that is where yours belongs regardless of who eventually inks the answers. On this programme the download needs one extra moment of attention, because MAJDM files exist in two shapes on the same server: a consolidated year file from the 2025 cycle and separate per-course files from the 2026 cycle.

  1. Start at IGNOU’s own download service. Open the IGNOU assignment download service or the assignment portal, choose Master’s Degree Programmes, then MAJDM. Do not type a file address from memory, because the same school uses three different filename conventions.
  2. Read the heading before the questions. A first-year MAJDM file is headed for PGDIDM, PGDIDMOL and first-year MAJDM and MAJDMOL together. A second-year file is headed for MAJDM and MAJDMOL alone. If you are in Year Two and the file names a diploma, you have opened the wrong block.
  3. Check the session pair under the assignment code. The current files print January 2026 and July 2026 there. An older file prints January and July 2025 and carries a session segment inside the code itself. Your admission cycle has to appear in that pair, or the questions are not yours.
  4. Copy the assignment code exactly, including or excluding the hyphen. The first-year file prints Assignment Code: MNM-011. The second-year file prints Assignment Code: MNM031. The resolver above builds the string so you can check what you are looking at, and the paper in your hand settles it.

With the questions in front of you, the archive of solved question papers and the previous year paper collection show how a three-hour examination hall treats digital media material differently from a 2,500-word assignment, which is worth seeing before assuming that preparing for one prepares you for the other.

After The Bundle Reaches Your Study Centre

Get the receipt before you leave the counter. Every MAJDM file says so in the same sentence: you must obtain and retain a Study Centre receipt for the submitted assignments, and it is advisable to keep a photocopy of the assignments with you. The file adds two things most learners never hear: after evaluation the assignments have to be returned to you by the Study Centre, and you should insist on this and keep a record of it.

From there the figure moves in stages. Your centre logs the arrival of the bundle. The counsellor marks it and the Study Centre sends the award to the Student Evaluation Division at IGNOU, New Delhi. Only once both have happened does a number settle against the MNM or MJM code. Arrival and score are logged separately, and you look them up on two different screens. The assignment marks status lookup answers the first and the assignment grade card explainer answers the second, while the grade card status page exists for an MNM code that stubbornly will not appear and the final grade card guide matters once the examination half lands too. All four begin by demanding the identifier the enrolment number lookup page explains how to find, while the broader assignment hub handles the parts of the cycle none of them reach.

Two causes account for most MAJDM codes sitting at incomplete. The first is a first-year code recorded against PGDIDM rather than the degree, which is a live possibility precisely because the two awards share all nine first-year rows and an exit route runs between them. The second is an online-mode submission: MAJDMOL and PGDIDMOL learners are directed by their own file to submit through the LMS rather than at a counter, and a mark can sit in a different chain. In neither case has anything been lost. A Regional Centre reattaches it once you quote your enrolment number.

The Programme Guide sets the bar at 40 per cent in assignments and 40 per cent in the term-end examination separately in each course, which on a 100-mark MAJDM paper is forty marks spread across five answers. It also says plainly that there is no re-evaluation of assignments, so whatever the counsellor entered is where that 30 per cent stays. With both halves posted, the percentage calculator and the CGPA calculator convert them into something legible. The revaluation route reaches the examination script alone, at ₹750 a course per the Programme Guide. Wider timing sits on the IGNOU result page, the June 2026 result tracker and the postgraduate result page.

The Practical, The Project, And The Seventy Per Cent

An assignment order is rarely the only line in a message from a MAJDM learner, because two eight-credit courses sit inside the degree that no Tutor Marked Assignment reaches, and the examination sits at the end of both years.

Medium, cycle, and the point at which a MAJDM paper stops counting. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MAJDM that resolves to a genuine choice rather than a formality: section 3.63 records English as the medium of instruction and the index publishes English files, while the Programme Guide states that the University allows assignments, project work and the examination to be taken in Hindi. Name the one you intend to write in, because it changes who writes it rather than what it costs. On cycles: a MAJDM paper belongs to the two admission sessions printed under its own assignment code, and the 2026 files name January 2026 and July 2026 there. An older paper does not become current merely because it matches your admission year. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.

One Message, Three Replies, And The Receipt You Keep

There is no form on this page, no account and no login. The whole exchange runs over WhatsApp on +91 93546 37830, and the job is not finished when a courier hands the parcel across. It is finished when the Study Centre receipt your own file tells you to obtain is sitting where you can find it.

  1. Message the number with your codes and the file heading. The MNM, MJM, MNML or MNMP codes in the spelling your registration confirmation uses, plus the line at the top of your download naming the sessions it covers.
  2. Your year, your code forms and your total come back. Each code is placed in Year One or Year Two, matched to the file that governs your cycle, and priced at ₹320 per subject. MNML-012 and MNMP-012 are named and removed, and delivery for your pin code is confirmed before you pay.
  3. The bound set arrives and you complete it. One code, one tied bundle, with a blank cover sheet sitting on top of it. Your enrolment details and your signature are left for you to add. That declaration is a claim about who understood the course, and only the person whose enrolment number sits above it can make it truthfully.

Five lines belong in that first message, and the third is the one MAJDM orders most often arrive without:

  • Course codes. Copied from the confirmation document rather than recalled, in whatever padding that document happens to use.
  • Year One or Year Two. MAJDM is examined year wise, and the two years use different booklets with different code punctuation.
  • The session heading on your file. This is the MAJDM-specific line, and it is the one most orders arrive without. It decides whether the assignment code carries a session segment.
  • ODL or online mode. A MAJDMOL or PGDIDMOL learner is told by their own file to submit through the LMS, which changes what happens after the parcel arrives.
  • Your pin code, plus one photograph of your writing if you want the hand matched. Any page you wrote yourself will do, and matching it costs nothing.

Sourcing: Prospectus, Three Booklets, One Programme Guide

From the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. Section 3.63 supplied the School of Journalism and New Media Studies placement, eligibility of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, the English medium of instruction, every course code with its official title, type and credit value, the Year One and Year Two split, the stated 80-credit total, the sentence describing the programme as sixteen theory courses with one practical and one project, the lateral-entry note for 40-credit diploma holders, and the PGDIDM exit award. Credits were confirmed by addition rather than accepted on sight: eight theory papers at four credits plus MNML-012 at eight reaches forty, and the same arithmetic reaches forty again in Year Two. The programme summary table on the admission pages supplied the year-wise mode of examination, the January and July cycles, the fee of ₹10,000 per year and ₹20,000 in total, and the two-year minimum against a four-year maximum. Section 3.62 supplied the MAJMC lateral-entry routes that place MNM-034 and MNM-036 on a mass communication learner’s list, and the competing Media Ethics and Laws title for MJM-025. Section 8.26 supplied the PGDIDM course list that matches MAJDM Year One row for row.

From three live MAJDM assignment files on IGNOU’s own server. One file on its own proves nothing here. An oddity inside a single PDF is as likely to be a slip of the keyboard as a rule, so three MAJDM files were opened side by side and read against one another. The MNM-011 file from the January and July 2026 set supplied the PGDIDM and MAJDM joint heading, the five-item cover instruction, the LMS route for online-mode learners, the hundred marks, the 30 per cent weightage line, the five-question pattern at twenty marks each, the 500-word instruction, the hyphenated Assignment Code: MNM-011, the ampersand between January 2026 and July 2026, the September 2026 and March 2027 month pair, and the due-date line that sends you to the University website. The MNM-031 file from the same set supplied the second-year heading naming MAJDM and MAJDMOL alone, the unhyphenated Assignment Code: MNM031, and the slash between the two cycles. The consolidated MNM-030 file from the January and July 2025 set supplied the cover listing MNM030 to MNM036, the instruction naming seven theory courses, the MNM030/Jan&July25 code form, the absence of any weightage line, and the September 2025 and March 2026 month pair.

From the official MAJDM Programme Guide published by SOJNMS. The 30 per cent and 70 per cent split, the 40 per cent minimum in assignments and in the term-end examination separately, the statement that there is no re-evaluation of assignments, the ₹750 re-evaluation fee for an examination script and the ₹100 photocopy fee, the eleven-field response-sheet layout, the A-4 paper instruction, the four-centimetre left margin, the requirement to write in your own handwriting and not to print or type the answers, the instruction to write each question before its answer and to use a separate set of papers per assignment, the direction to send the completed assignment only to the Study Centre coordinator, the sentence permitting Hindi on an English-medium programme, the MNMP-012 dates of 31 May and 30 November, the MNML-012 content management system description, and the three conflicting course counts.

What the research could not settle. Three things are open and are stated here rather than smoothed over. No MAJDM file read for this page prints a submission date, and no IGNOU document located in this research supplies one for the Tutor Marked Assignments, so the operative cut-off has to be taken from ignou.ac.in or your Regional Centre on the day you submit. Whether a separate MNM-038 assignment file exists for the current cycle could not be confirmed, because the 2025 consolidated file omits the code entirely and no 2026 file for it surfaced in this research. And whether the Programme Guide’s five Tutor Marked Assignments sentence is a surviving line from an earlier structure or a live instruction could not be resolved from published documents, so the sixteen theory courses in section 3.63 are what this page has counted from.

From ignouproject.com as publisher. The commercial half of this page is the publisher’s own and has nothing to do with the university: what a code costs, why a file is never sold, how an older cycle is handled, which mediums are covered, why no order floor applies and why the handwriting match carries no fee. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. None of that is an IGNOU rule, and IGNOU has no part in any of it.

Any report is checked against the file sitting on the university server first, and a correction that follows carries its own date. Send The Codes And The Line At The Top Of Your File. Working Out Which Paper Governs Them Is The Job Here.

Whichever year you sit in, with the session heading quoted and the medium named, the set arrives tied code by code, cover page on top and left blank for you to sign. MNML-012 and MNMP-012 are named and removed rather than quietly billed, a code your registration prints in an unfamiliar padding is matched to the paper instead of bounced back, and the assignment code form your own session uses is quoted to you before writing starts.
