Instruction 5 on all five live MAUS English files opened for this page carries the same pair of months, and neither of them is the pair that dominates the assignment-help web.

That bracket does real work on this programme. IGNOU has repeatedly issued blanket extensions that override what a booklet printed: for the June 2026 examinations the university moved assignment submission to the end of April and then again into May, and a further extension into August was announced for the July cycle. A MAUS learner reading only the printed date is reading the floor, not the ceiling. Confirm the operative figure on ignou.ac.in and with your own Regional Centre, which can and does set its own. The only legitimate urgency here is the date on your own file plus whatever your centre has issued since.

The stranger fact is that the five English MAUS papers currently posted do not all belong to the same cycle. MEDS-041, MEDS-042, MEDS-043 and MEDS-044 are headed for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions. MEDSE-046, sitting in the same folder on the same server, is headed for July 2026 and January 2027. Two of a learner’s first-year papers can therefore print dates a full year apart while both are current, which is a genuinely awkward thing to discover in March. Read the session line on every file separately rather than assuming the set moves together.

One more line changes what a backlog MAUS learner should do. Every file states that irrespective of the year and session of your registration you are to submit the latest assignments uploaded on the website. A MEDS paper is not archived against your admission year. If you registered in 2023 and are clearing MEDS-044 now, the questions you answer are the ones posted now. Order against the file currently live and name your admission year in the message so the point gets checked rather than assumed.

Eight Hundred Words A Question, Five Questions, One Hundred Marks

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On MAUS the share is ordinary and the volume behind it is not. Guideline 3(a) on every file read for this page asks that each answer run to around 800 words. Five questions at twenty marks apiece, at around 800 words each, is roughly 4,000 words of longhand for a single course code, before the maps, matrices and log-frames an urban planning answer usually wants drawn in.

Scale that. A first year taken with MEDSE-046 rather than the project is five papers, which is near 20,000 handwritten words. A second year of four chosen papers is another 16,000. Across the degree a MAUS learner who declines the project writes nine papers, forty-five answers and something close to 36,000 words by hand. None of it is intellectually difficult. It is simply a quantity of writing that a functionary at a municipal corporation working a full week does not have loose evenings for, which is why this particular thirty per cent gets abandoned by people who read every block properly.

The structure is at least uniform. Every MAUS paper opened for this page prints the same instruction: one assignment with five questions for each course, all questions compulsory, all carrying twenty marks. There is no section split, no short-note block, no internal choice and no practical component anywhere in the programme. That consistency is worth something, because it means the arithmetic above holds for every code on your record rather than varying paper by paper. Once your study centre passes the figure upward it attaches to that course code permanently, and the assignment status and result tracker is where you watch it land.

What differs paper to paper is the weight of the question itself. MEDS-043 asks for the sources of municipal revenue and the mechanisms to improve them, for the dimensions of fiscal decentralisation, and for state-level community participation and public disclosure law. MEDS-044 asks you to define the Logistical Framework Approach and formulate a project with it, and to distinguish levels of measurement used in social science research. MEDS-047 asks how biodiversity is affected by human activity and why the Environment Protection Act of 1986 was framed. Those are answers with named instruments inside them, and 800 words is not padding room, it is the space the question actually needs.

Solved Assignment Or Handwritten: Which One A Study Centre Takes

Two products reach this WhatsApp number under almost identical wording, and only one of them can be handed across a counter, so each gets a definition before either is set against the other.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, read on a screen alongside the study blocks while you compose your own version. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on A4, tied per course code, and submitted in hard copy at the study centre allotted to you. The first is preparation. The second is the submission. Printing the first does not convert it into the second, and the MAUS file resolves the point in IGNOU’s own words at instruction 4: only handwritten assignments are evaluated.

On MAUS the gap between the two widens because of what the marker is looking for. An answer on public private partnership in urban infrastructure that has been transcribed rather than understood reads as transcribed, because the question asks for advantages and disadvantages and a copied answer lists them without weighing them. It is not a submission, and neither product replaces the urban studies blocks IGNOU already posted to you.

What The Rate Covers On An Urban Studies Paper

Twelve statements before any code reaches a price. The first six are where a MAUS bundle goes wrong. The last six are limits this page will not soften for anybody.

Ten Taught Codes Across Four Prefixes And Two Years

MAUS is the programme code on your admission record and in section 3.48 of the Common Prospectus. Below it the course codes arrive from four prefixes rather than one: MEDS on seven taught papers, MEDSE on the first-year elective, MEDSP on the project, and then MHI and MPA on two second-year courses that belong to entirely different disciplines. One degree, five code families, and a second year that reaches across the university.

Section 3.48 places MAUS in the School of Extension and Development Studies, records eligibility as graduation in any discipline, records the medium of instruction as English, and sets a two-year minimum against a four-year maximum at ₹8,200 per year, ₹16,400 in total. IGNOU’s live programme page for MAUS adds a registration fee of ₹300 that the prospectus figure does not include. The programme summary table records the mode as year wise across the January and July cycles, which is why nothing on this page is arranged by semester.

The credits below were added rather than accepted. Six plus six plus six plus six is twenty-four, and one eight-credit elective takes the first year to thirty-two, which is exactly what the heading claims. The second year prints five courses at eight credits each, forty in total, against an instruction to choose any thirty-two. Thirty-two and thirty-two reaches the sixty-four the table states. Add every printed row instead and the column reaches eighty. The sixteen-credit gap between eighty and sixty-four is not an error; it is the two selection rules, and knowing that is the difference between ordering five papers and ordering seven.

Year One: Four Compulsory Papers And A Choice That Changes The Count

Thirty-two credits, and one decision inside them that most MAUS pages skip entirely. The asterisk on MEDSP-045 and MEDSE-046 carries the footnote Electives, one to be elected. The project is therefore not a requirement of this degree. A learner who registers MEDSE-046 completes MAUS without writing a project at all, and instead writes a fifth Tutor Marked Assignment, which is Assignment 5, and which is currently the only MAUS file posted for the July 2026 and January 2027 sessions.

These same four compulsory papers plus the same pair of electives are also the entire Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Development. Section 8.19 lists MEDS 41, MEDS 42, MEDS 43 and MEDS 44, offers the same choose-one elective pair, and closes the table with the words Total Credits 32. IGNOU’s live MAUS page records both directions of that relationship: a learner completing the diploma may take lateral entry into the second year of MAUS, and a learner leaving MAUS after the first year may exit with the diploma. A first-year MAUS bundle and a PGDUPDL bundle answer identical questions, and the only thing separating them is the programme code written on the cover sheet. Write yours deliberately. Year Two: Thirty-Two Credits Chosen From Forty

The issuing school sits in the last column; drag the table across to reach it.

Nothing in that table is compulsory. The instruction is to choose any thirty-two credits, which means four of the five, and two learners admitted in the same July can hold different sets without either being wrong. That is the first thing a second-year order has to establish.

The second is that MHI-10 and MPA-016 are not urban studies courses at all. MHI is the course-code prefix of the Master of Arts in History and MPA of the Master of Arts in Public Administration, both taught in the School of Social Sciences. Their assignment papers are assembled by those disciplines, on their own layouts, to their own calendars, and a MAUS learner who takes one is submitting a paper that was never written with MAUS in mind. Locate it under the history or public administration listing rather than under the extension studies one, and read its dates off its own instruction line rather than off a MEDS file. The other quiet feature is how far these MEDS codes travel. MEDS-041 and MEDS-042 are also second-year papers on MA Development Studies, which is why the MADVS handwritten assignment page lists them too. MEDS-044 has been examined under MA Sustainability Science. MEDSE-046 is shared with MA Corporate Social Responsibility and both urban and CSR diplomas. One eight-credit elective sitting across four programmes is unusual, and it explains why the file you download may name a programme other than yours.

From A Code On Your Registration To A Tied MAUS Bundle

Five stages sit between the message and the parcel. The first exists because MAUS numbers its papers separately from its codes and spreads them across three schools, which makes identification the step everything downstream depends on.

1. Every code is matched to a number and to the school that issues it. Your list is checked against the ten taught codes in section 3.48, each one traced to the numbered assignment holding it, and each one attributed to the school that publishes its paper. MEDSP-045 is set aside with a note rather than priced. The count that comes back is a count of published papers, which is not always the number of codes you sent.
2. The live file is opened, not an archived one. Every MAUS paper instructs you to submit the latest assignment uploaded on the website regardless of your registration year, so the questions come from what is posted now. Because the current English set straddles two session pairs, each file’s own heading is checked rather than the set’s assumed cycle.
3. Five answers are planned at around 800 words each. The count is fixed before drafting, because MAUS prints no internal choice anywhere: all five questions are compulsory and all five carry twenty marks. The length follows guideline 3(a) on your own file rather than a convention borrowed from another school.
4. Each answer is built from the urban studies blocks. A question on the seventy-fourth constitutional amendment, on urban ecosystems and natural resources, on levels of measurement in social research or on the Environment Protection Act is answered from the units IGNOU issued, because your counsellor marks against those units. 5. Blue or black on A4, both faces, tied per course. Instruction 2 on the MAUS files is specific and unusual: use A4 plain or ruled paper, write on both sides with a margin, and tie or staple all pages carefully, course wise. Most IGNOU guidance says one side only; the MAUS instruction says both, and the instruction on your paper is the one that governs. Question numbers go beside each answer, key terms are underlined once, pages are numbered through, and diagrams are drawn rather than pasted. Each code travels as its own bundle with the cover sheet on top and deliberately blank: the cover page walkthrough and the blank front page format PDF show the layout in advance, and the wider rules sit in assignment format and structure.

One Hand Across A Registration That Can Run Four Years

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. A single page written at ordinary speed and photographed flat in decent light carries enough of the slant, the letter heights and the joins you make without thinking to carry a whole course of answers.

On MAUS the case for it is structural rather than sentimental. The degree is examined year wise, not semester wise, so Year One and Year Two bundles reach the counter roughly twelve months apart by design. Stretch that across a registration allowed to run four years and the gap between your first bundle and your last is longer here than on any semester programme. Add a second-year paper issued by a different school and marked by a different discipline, and a visibly different hand across the file is exactly the discrepancy nobody needed to create. The photograph is used for the order it belongs to and is discarded with it.

Two Free Tools Built Around The MAUS Elective Choice

Neither tool leaves the browser tab it opens in and neither keeps anything once you close it. The first exists because on MAUS the number of papers you owe depends on a choice you made at registration and may not remember making. The second exists because the useful question on this programme is not what a code is called but which numbered assignment holds it and which school prints it.

Downloading A MAUS Paper When Two Session Pairs Sit Side By Side

IGNOU charges nothing for its question papers, and IGNOU is where yours should come from whoever ends up filling the sheets. On MAUS the download takes two extra moments of attention, because the files in one folder serve different cycles and two of your second-year papers are not in that folder at all.

1. Start at IGNOU’s own download service. Open the IGNOU assignment download service and search by course code rather than by programme code. IGNOU’s own instruction on that page is to check the validity of the assignment before downloading it, which on this programme is not a formality.
2. Read the session line before the questions. Four of the five English MAUS files are headed for July 2025 and January 2026. The MEDSE-046 file is headed for July 2026 and January 2027. Both are current, and the dates in instruction 5 differ by a full year between them. Note the pair printed on your own file and work to that.
3. Look outside SOEDS for MHI-10 and MPA-016. Those two second-year papers are set by the history and public administration disciplines of the School of Social Sciences. Searching the extension studies listing for them returns nothing useful. Search the course code itself, and take the marks pattern and the dates off whatever those schools printed rather than assuming the MEDS pattern carries over.
4. Note the assignment number, not only the code. A MAUS paper carries no TMA string at all. What identifies it is the words Assignment and a numeral above the questions, and that is what belongs on your cover sheet where another programme would write a code such as CODE oblique TMA oblique 2026. Do not construct a TMA code IGNOU has not issued.

Watching A MAUS Assignment Mark Reach The Grade Card

The counter is a checkpoint, not a finish line. Instruction 6 on the MAUS files asks you to submit at the allotted study centre only, and adds a line worth following literally: keep a scan copy of the assignments with you until the marks are reflected in your grade card. Photograph every page before the bundle leaves your hands.

From there the figure moves in three stages. Your centre logs that the bundle arrived, the counsellor’s award is passed up to the Student Evaluation Division, and a figure settles against the course code only after both have happened. Receipt and score sit on different screens and answer different questions, so follow the first through the assignment marks status lookup and the second through the assignment grade card explainer, with the grade card status page for a code that refuses to appear and the final grade card guide once both halves are posted. Two causes account for most MAUS courses that sit at incomplete. The first is a first-year code recorded against the Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Development rather than the master’s, which is a live possibility precisely because the two awards share every first-year paper and IGNOU operates both a lateral entry and an exit option between them. The second is a second-year MHI or MPA paper whose mark travelled through a different school’s evaluation chain and arrived out of step with the MEDS papers submitted the same week. Both are administrative attachments rather than lost marks, and a Regional Centre resolves either with your enrolment number. A term-end score you want challenged goes down the revaluation route, which touches the answer script alone, so an assignment mark cannot be revalued. What MAUS Learners Order Next To The Bundle

An assignment order is rarely the only line in a message from an urban studies learner, because the eight-credit project sits inside the same first year as the taught papers and the examination sits at the end of everything.

• The seventy per cent no bundle can reach. Medium, session, and the point at which a MAUS paper stops counting. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MAUS that clause has to be read carefully rather than dismissed: section 3.48 records the medium of instruction as English, section 8.19 records English and Hindi for the diploma sharing the same four first-year courses, and IGNOU has published Hindi MEDS files under filenames naming MAUS. Whichever you were handed is written at the same rate, so name it. On sessions: a MAUS paper belongs to the pair printed on its own cover, and the questions are replaced under unchanged course codes when that pair closes. Because every file instructs you to submit the latest assignment regardless of when you registered, an older paper does not stay valid merely because it matches your admission year. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.

Sending A MAUS Order Over WhatsApp

There is no form on this page, no account and no login. The whole exchange runs over WhatsApp on +91 93546 37830, and the job is not done when the courier hands the parcel across. It is done when a stamped receipt sits in your hand.

1. Message the number with your codes. The MEDS, MEDSE, MHI or MPA codes exactly as your registration confirmation spells them, padded or unpadded, whichever it prints.
2. Your numbers and your total come back. Each code is matched to its numbered assignment and to the school issuing it, MEDSP-045 is named and removed, the total is confirmed at ₹320 per subject, and delivery for your pin code is confirmed before you pay.
3. The bound set arrives and you finish it. Every code comes tied on its own with the cover sheet on top, deliberately unfilled. The enrolment rows and the signature line stay empty on purpose. That declaration asserts whose understanding the pages represent, and it is not an assertion anyone but you is entitled to make.

Four lines are worth sending in that first message:

• Course codes. Copied from your registration confirmation rather than recalled, with whatever padding it prints.
• Year One or Year Two, and which first-year elective you registered. MAUS is examined year wise, and the MEDSP-045 against MEDSE-046 decision changes a first-year order by a whole subject.
• The session pair printed on the cover of each file. That single line settles which questions are answered, and on MAUS it has to be given per file rather than once, because the live set straddles two pairs.
• Pin code, plus a handwriting sample if you want one. A photograph of anything you have written is enough, and matching costs nothing.
