Three MAENOH Papers, Three Different Cut-Off Positions

Three live papers from MAENOH’s own assignment index were opened for this page, and no two of them treat the submission date the same way. The pair below is the one printed inside a booklet that IGNOU itself serves under MAENOH, and it is the pair a MAENOH learner should plan against until a Regional Centre says otherwise.

Now the complication, and it is specific to this programme. The MIS-021 paper sitting in the same second-year folder prints a single line reading Last Date of Submission: April 30, and prints no December alternative at all. The first-year MEV and MEVE papers print no calendar date anywhere: what they print instead is a validity statement, that the questions are valid for the January and July sessions of the year named on the cover. One programme, one index, one download session, and three different answers to the question “when is this due”.

None of the three is wrong and none overrides the others. Each governs the paper it is printed on, because each was written by the school that owns that course rather than by the school that runs your degree. What all of them agree on is the consequence: submission is what makes you eligible to sit the term-end examination, so a missed bundle is not only thirty marks lost, it is a paper you are not permitted to attempt. Dates also move within a cycle, and the university has extended the June figure more than once in recent sessions. Confirm the operative date on ignou.ac.in and with your own Regional Centre before you build a writing plan around it. The only genuine urgency here is the date on your own paper and the one your centre has issued; nothing on this page is time-limited by ignouproject.com.

Nineteen Papers Carry The Thirty Per Cent

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On MAENOH that share is collected nineteen times rather than twenty, because MEVP 001 is the project and IGNOU publishes no Tutor Marked Assignment for it. The second-year index lists nine links and no tenth.

Where MAENOH differs from most postgraduate programmes is that the nineteen papers do not share a format. The first-year MEV-001 paper prints 100 marks, lists seven questions, instructs you to attempt any five, and sets the split as five answers of twenty. The MIS-021 paper prints 100 marks as well, but lists ten questions and instructs you to attempt all of them at ten marks each. The MPA-006 paper prints 50 marks, arranges ten questions into two sections, and asks for five answers of about 400 words with at least two drawn from each section. A learner sitting down with three downloads in front of them is looking at three different pieces of arithmetic, and the number of answers required across a full second year is not something a single multiplication will give you.

Word guidance follows the same pattern. MPA-006 states its 400-word expectation on the paper. MEV-001 states no word count against any question, while its own instruction list tells you to make sure an answer does not exceed the number of words indicated in the question. The instruction points at a figure the paper never prints, which is the same contradiction the sister environment programmes carry, so it is house style rather than one file’s slip. In the absence of a printed limit, a twenty-mark question that asks you to describe ecological succession with suitable examples is answered to the depth the question asks for rather than to a number invented elsewhere.

These are marks written at home with the blocks open, which is exactly why they are the ones most often surrendered. Once the Study Centre transmits the figure it attaches itself to that course code and stays there, and the page on where an assignment score actually appears follows the sequence from counter to grade card.

Which One Does Your Study Centre Actually Take In?

Two products are asked for in the same WhatsApp message and only one of them is a submission, so both are defined before anything else is said about either.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, delivered as a document and used as reading. A handwritten assignment is the physical object IGNOU collects: those answers written out by hand across A4 sheets, tied per course code, and handed to the Coordinator of your allotted Study Centre. One is preparation. The other is the thing the counter stamps. Printing a downloaded file does not convert it into a MAENOH submission, and the MEV-001 booklet settles the point in its own instruction list, which states that you should write the answer in your own handwriting.

The distance between the two is wider on MAENOH than the price gap suggests, because of what these questions ask for. MEV-004 wants toxicology. MEVE-001 wants an impact assessment method. MPA-006 wants epidemiological methods applied to disasters and the components of a pre-hospital plan. MIS-021 wants the fire triangle classified and a fault tree explained. Those are answers with named methods and structures inside them, and transcribing one off a screen without following the method is how a legible bundle still reads as unlearned. If the answer key is what you actually came for, it sits in the IGNOU solved assignments, sorted by programme, and it should be read beside the blocks rather than copied out.

What ₹320 settles on a MAENOH paper, and what it does not

Twelve statements worth reading before a code list is sent. The first six are where a MAENOH submission goes wrong. The last six are limits this page will not soften.

Every MAENOH Course Code And The Prefix That Owns It

MAENOH is the programme code printed on your admission record and in the Common Prospectus. It has no course-code prefix of its own. Section 3.40 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus for July 2026 places the programme in the School of Inter-disciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies, records the medium of instruction as English, sets eligibility at graduation in any discipline, and gives two years minimum against four years maximum with year-wise examination in the January and July cycles. The fee table records ₹7,700 per year, ₹15,400 in total.

The tables that follow were totalled by hand before they were trusted. Ten first-year courses at four credits each is forty. Nine second-year courses at four credits each is thirty-six, and the eightieth credit block only closes if MEVP 001 carries the remaining four, which the prospectus does not print against it. That derivation is stated here rather than presented as a printed figure.

Year One: Ten Compulsory Codes, Two Prefixes

Every first-year course is marked Compulsory, including the five carrying the MEVE prefix that the prospectus elsewhere describes as elective courses of the first year. There is no choice to make in year one and no combination to validate: all ten codes are on every MAENOH record, and all ten carry a paper. The credit figure against MEVE 005 is missing from the MAENOH table, cut off at a page break, and was recovered from the identical table in section 8.36 of the same prospectus, where the Post Graduate Diploma version of this year prints it as four and totals the year at forty.

Year Two: Nine Papers, Six Prefixes And One Project

The second year is where the programme stops looking like an environment degree and starts looking like a collection. Six of the ten codes belong to prefixes that no first-year MAENOH learner has met, and two of them, MGSE 004 and MGSE 009, are gender studies courses that sit in the Gender and Development Studies programme in their own right. MGY 001 belongs to the code family used by the Geoinformatics programme that owns the MGY prefix. MPA 006 is a course of the PGDDM disaster management programme, which matters twice over because MPA is also the programme code of the MA Public Administration project, a different MPA entirely. MIS 021 sits with industrial safety at postgraduate diploma level. The project itself is covered on the MEVP-001 project guide and is not part of a ₹320 assignment order.

Which School Owns Which MAENOH Prefix

A code list from any study-help site, this one included, ranks below your own registration confirmation. Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment. What Happens Between Your Code List And The Courier

Five stages sit between the message you send and the parcel that arrives. The first two exist because MAENOH loses more work to downloading the wrong file than to writing the answers badly.

1. Each code is traced to the booklet that governs it. A MAENOH list routinely contains codes from six or more prefixes, and the paper for each is published by the school that owns that course rather than by SOITS. MEVP 001 is set aside with a note rather than silently priced, and any code that has no live link in your session block is flagged back to you.
2. The format is read off that booklet, not assumed from the others. Whether your paper wants five answers of twenty, ten answers of ten, or five answers of about 400 words across two sections is decided by the file itself. Applying the MEV format to the MPA paper is the single most common way a MAENOH bundle arrives at the counter over-length and mis-weighted.
3. Answers are built from the MAENOH blocks, question numbers intact. A question on radioactive radiation sources, on the components of a pre-hospital medical plan, or on the benefits of 5S in an industry is answered from the programme’s own units, because that is what the counsellor is marking against. The numbering the booklet printed is kept, so question seven is found where question seven should be. The blocks are free from IGNOU through the eGyanKosh repository, with a second route into Gyankosh when that is slow, and a wider catalogue at the free study material index.
4. A4 in blue or black, one side, tied per code. Red and green are left to the evaluator, key terms are underlined once, a clear left margin is kept for comments, and pages are numbered through. The MEV-001 booklet asks for enrolment number, name, full address and date in the top right corner of the first page, and the course title, assignment number and study centre name in the centre of it, which is the layout the delivered sheet follows.
5. Cover sheet on top, deliberately unfilled, then courier. Each code travels as its own bundle. The how the cover page is filled in walkthrough and a blank front page you can print show the same layout in advance, and margins, numbering and binding rules cover the rest.

Matching Your Hand Across A Two-Year MAENOH Record

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. One sheet of ordinary writing, photographed square-on in daylight, carries enough of your slope, letter height and habitual joins to reproduce across a whole year of answers.

On a year-wise programme the argument is a simple one about volume arriving at once. MAENOH does not submit four papers a semester; it submits ten in the first year and nine in the second, against one enrolment number, at one Study Centre, over a registration that may run to four years. Ten bundles delivered together in one hand and nine delivered a year later in a visibly different one is a discrepancy nobody needed in a file that stays open that long. The photograph is used for the order it belongs to and discarded with it.

Two MAENOH Utilities That Cost Nothing

Both utilities below run inside your browser, contact nothing and retain nothing. The first exists because MAENOH delivers its papers in two annual blocks rather than four semester ones, and the runway to a cut-off is easy to misjudge at that scale. The second exists because a MAENOH code tells you nothing about which school wrote your paper or how many marks it carries until somebody looks it up.

Reading The MAENOH Index Before You Download

Every MAENOH question paper is free from the university and should be taken from the university, whoever ends up writing the pages. Four steps, and the third is where this programme catches people out.

1. Start at IGNOU’s own download service. Open the IGNOU assignment download service or go straight to the assignment portal and choose Master’s Degree Programmes, then MAENOH. Do not type a file address from memory: the same MEV paper exists under more than one path and more than one spelling of the programme.
2. Read the session heading, then the year sub-heading. The index is arranged newest first, and each session block splits into First Year and Second Year. As of this review the newest block published there is headed January to July 2025, and no 2026-27 MAENOH set has appeared. That is worth knowing before you conclude that your paper is missing.
3. Count the links against the codes you hold. The second year lists nine links and never a tenth, because MEVP 001 has no paper. Older blocks are patchier still: MEV-005, MEVE-002 and MPA-006 sit unlinked in the 2024-2025 block, and the 2022-23 first year is one paper short.
4. If a code will not resolve, try the other spelling, then leave the index altogether. Files for this programme are stored under MAENOH, MAEOH, PGDENOH and PGDEOH depending on the year and the path, and the term-end question papers for these same courses are archived under the PG Diploma spelling. Several MAENOH courses are also served directly from the university’s School of Inter-disciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies path, outside the programme index entirely, where MEV-014 is published in a booklet the MAENOH index never points at. A blank cell on the index is therefore not evidence that no paper exists for your session.

Once the questions are in hand, solved term-end papers and previous year papers show what the three-hour hall asks of an environmental and occupational health candidate, which is a noticeably different question from what the assignment asks.

After The Bundle Is Handed Over

The counter is a checkpoint rather than a finish line. Take a receipt and keep it, and keep a photocopy or a photograph of every page before the bundle leaves you. The MEV-001 booklet asks for exactly that in writing, in case what you submitted is lost in transit, and the MPA-006 booklet goes further and tells you to insist that the Study Centre returns the evaluated assignment to you.

From there the figure moves in stages. Your Study Centre records receipt, the counsellor’s award travels to the Student Evaluation Division, and only then does a number attach to that course code. Receipt and score are reported on different screens and answer different questions, so follow the first through checking whether the marks are posted and the second through how assignment marks reach the grade card, with a code that refuses to appear on the grade card for the stubborn cases and the final grade card once both halves are posted. Each of those lookups opens by asking for the identifier explained on finding your enrolment number, and the counter itself is covered by handing the bundle in at the counter and the general assignment hub.

A MAENOH course showing as incomplete on a year-wise programme usually means one paper out of ten is missing rather than that anything failed, and on this degree the missing one is often the borrowed code nobody thinks of as part of an environment MA. When both halves of a course are visible, convert the marks to a percentage or work out the CGPA, and a disputed term-end figure goes through revaluation, which never reaches an assignment. The Rest Of A MAENOH Order List

An assignment order is rarely the only line in a message from an environmental and occupational health learner. These are the other things asked for, each on its own page.

• The seventy per cent an assignment cannot touch. The term-end script carries the larger share, so MAENOH guess papers and condensed study notes repay attention faster than any bundle does, with help books for the term-end paper, guide books ordered online and the study material index compressing the environment blocks into something revisable.
• MEVP 001, which is a different order entirely. The project runs through MEVP-001 synopsis format and the project writing service, with layout on the report format guide and pricing on the wider price list rather than at the ₹320 assignment rate.
• Sibling degrees that lend MAENOH several of its codes. MEV 014, MEVE 011 and MEVE 015 also sit in MA (Environmental Studies), whose the MEVP-12 route in MA Environmental Studies uses a neighbouring project code, and in M.Sc. (Environmental Science), covered by the M.Sc. Environmental Science handwritten page and by the MEVP-11 dissertation in M.Sc. Environmental Science. The Sustainability Science sibling programme sits in the same school again. Name the programme code as well as the course code on every download and every order, because the same number is a different learner’s paper elsewhere.

Medium, session, and why a MAENOH paper stops being answerable. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MAENOH the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English and every live paper opened for this page is English, so that clause resolves to one paper rather than a choice, and no Hindi MAENOH set is offered here because none exists to offer. On sessions: a MEV or MEVE paper names the sessions it is valid for on its own cover, and the questions are replaced under unchanged course codes when that block closes. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject, so name the session from your cover and the answers are written against the questions that belong to it.

Four Lines That Complete A MAENOH Order

1. One message carrying four things. The codes exactly as your registration confirmation prints them; whether each sits in the first or second year; the session block named on your booklet cover; and your delivery pin code. One photographed page of your own writing can arrive later in the same thread.
2. A reply carrying three numbers. How many of your codes have a live paper, the total at ₹320 each with MEVP 001 removed and named, and where your pin code stands for delivery. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay.
3. Bundles arrive, you complete the sheet, the counter records it. Each code comes tied on its own with the cover sheet on top, deliberately unfilled. The enrolment details and the signature are added by you, since a declaration is not something anyone can delegate.
