Quick answer. An IGNOU MAENOH guess paper is a revision set for one course code of the MA (Environmental and Occupational Health), built from the themes IGNOU keeps setting and answered at exam length; the programme draws its 19 examined codes from seven prefixes, MEV-001 to MEV-005 and MEVE-001 to MEVE-005 in Year I, then MEV, MEVE, MGSE, MED, MGY, MIS and MPA codes in Year II. The December 2026 term-end examination (TEE) runs from 25 November 2026 to 14 January 2027, and MAENOH papers fall between Wednesday 25 November (MEV-003, evening) and Thursday 24 December (MEVE-011, evening), per IGNOU’s date sheet of 30 October 2026. Most papers are 3 hours and 100 marks, but MIS-021 carries 70 marks and MPA-006 is a 2-hour, 50-mark paper, and in June 2026 MEV-001, MEV-002 and MEV-004 switched to any ten questions at 10 marks while MEV-005 kept its 15-mark and 8-mark parts. Sets cost ₹49 PDF · ₹100 printed, per subject code, with a one-time ₹100 courier charge on printed orders, in English, the MAENOH medium, plus Hindi for MPA-006, whose paper IGNOU prints in both. A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination.
MAENOH December 2026 Dates: MEV-003 on 25 November, Then a Year I Week
The first MAENOH paper of December 2026 is MEV-003 Environmental Law and Management on Wednesday 25 November 2026, 2 PM to 5 PM, the opening day of the cycle, and the last is MEVE-011 Global Climate Change on Thursday 24 December 2026, also in the evening, according to IGNOU’s date sheet dated 30 October 2026. Taken as a whole, IGNOU’s December cycle closes on 14 January 2027. The tentative sheet of 21 September 2026 closed a day earlier, on 13 January, yet gave every MAENOH code the same date and session as the October version.
December 2026 TEE, all programmes: Wednesday 25 November 2026 to Thursday 14 January 2027 (IGNOU sheet dated 30 October 2026)
First MAENOH paper
MEV-003, Wed 25 Nov 2026, 2 PM
Last MAENOH paper

The 30 October 2026 sheet no longer prints “tentative” in its heading, but IGNOU can still change it; the hall ticket fixes the final date and centre.
Year I: One Early Evening, Then Seven Mornings in Eight Days
MEV-003 stands apart. It is the paper IGNOU shares with the M.Sc. (Renewable Energy and Environment), and the sheet places it on the very first afternoon of the cycle, a full week before any other MAENOH paper. After that gap the first year compresses: MEV-001 on Wednesday 2 December, MEV-002 on Thursday 3, MEVE-003 on Friday 4 and MEV-004 on Saturday 5, then MEV-005 on Monday 7, MEVE-001 on Tuesday 8 and MEVE-002 on Wednesday 9. Sunday 6 December is the only blank day in that stretch. MEVE-004 (Saturday 19 December) and MEVE-005 (Monday 21 December) come much later.
The practical consequence is about order. Toxicology for MEV-004 and the agriculture paper for MEVE-003 cannot be revised in the evenings between sittings with any comfort; they need to be largely done before 2 December. PG Diploma learners sit exactly these ten codes, so the same pressure applies to them.
Year II: Nine Papers Across Three Weeks
The second-year codes are scattered over three weeks. MEV-014 is on the evening of Saturday 5 December, MGY-001 on the morning of Wednesday 9, MGSE-004 on the evening of Friday 11, MIS-021 on the morning of Saturday 12, MED-008 on the morning of Monday 14, MEVE-015 on the evening of Friday 18, MPA-006 on the evening of Saturday 19, MGSE-009 on the morning of Wednesday 23 and MEVE-011 on the evening of Thursday 24 December.
Where a Learner Carrying Both Years Meets Two Papers in a Day
- 9 December, 10 AM: MEVE-002 Health Care (Year I) and MGY-001 Introduction to Geoinformatics (Year II) share the same session. Anyone holding both codes should raise it with the Regional Centre as soon as the hall ticket shows it.
- 5 December: MEV-004 in the morning and MEV-014 in the evening.
- 19 December: MEVE-004 in the morning and MPA-006 in the evening.
Every other MAENOH date is a single sitting. The site’s code-wise lookup for the December 2026 sheet covers the other programmes, the guide to IGNOU’s morning and evening sessions explains reporting times, and the admit card download steps apply once IGNOU releases it. Centre questions belong on the exam centre allotment page, and a learner who has not yet paid can check the per-course examination fee and the online fee payment route.
What the MAENOH Term-End Paper Is Worth Against the Assignment
For MAENOH, the 30 per cent assignment figure is printed in the Year II booklets that IGNOU serves on its MAENOH assignment page: the booklet IGNOU serves for MEV-014 says assignments “have 30% weightage in the final grading” and the MGSE-004 assignment prints “Weightage: 30%”. The term-end examination carries 70 per cent of the final course result and assignments carry the remaining 30 per cent. None of the Year I MEV or MEVE question papers from June 2024 to June 2026 prints a weightage line, and neither do the 2025 Year I booklets, so the Programme Guide is the document that settles it for those ten codes.
The assignment and the examination ask for different writing. The 2025 MEV-001 booklet sets a 100-mark assignment covering all blocks, done at home over weeks. The June 2026 MEV-001 paper then wants ten 10-mark answers in three hours, about 17 minutes each. Learners who have only ever written at assignment length tend to run out of time on paper.
Once grades are out, the grade-to-percentage converter turns the final MAENOH grades into a percentage.
Revision Set, IGNOU’s Own Paper or an Answered Paper: Which Suits a MAENOH Learner
For one course code, such as MEV-005 Occupational Health and Safety, a guess paper is a revision set a publisher prepares from the questions and themes that recur in IGNOU’s past papers and the syllabus, with a model answer for each; sellers also call it “important questions”, “expected questions” or a “model paper”.
A previous year question paper for MAENOH is the actual paper IGNOU set at an earlier term-end examination, such as the June 2026 MEV-005 paper with its four 15-mark and five 8-mark answers, and IGNOU publishes it free. Add a publisher’s worked answers to that IGNOU paper, item by item, and it becomes a solved question paper.
The difference is the unit. A previous paper and a solved paper each follow one sitting; a guess paper is organised by theme across many sittings, which is the only way to see that MEV-004 has asked about bioremediation in every paper since June 2024.

| Point of comparison | Guess paper | Previous year question paper | Solved question paper |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it holds | Recurring MEV, MEVE, MIS or MPA themes from several sessions, answered | One IGNOU paper exactly as set | One IGNOU paper with answers written in |
| Who prepares it | A publisher | IGNOU | A publisher |
| Price | Paid (here ₹49 PDF · ₹100 printed, per subject code) | Free on IGNOU’s site | Usually paid |
| Best use | Deciding what to revise first and how long each answer should be | A timed attempt in the real layout | Seeing one complete sitting answered |
| Limit | Cannot tell anyone what the next paper holds | Shows nothing about which themes return | Covers only what that sitting asked |
For MAENOH the free side is well stocked: IGNOU has every MEV paper from June 2024 to June 2026 online, and the links under each theme table below open the files. Worked answers to IGNOU papers across programmes sit in the site’s collection of answered IGNOU papers, and sets for every other programme start from the main IGNOU guess paper index.
Built for the June 2026 shape. MEV-001 to MEV-004 sets are drafted as 10-mark answers of about 17 minutes, the length the newest papers ask for.
Two lengths where IGNOU kept two. MEV-005 and MEVE-002 sets carry 15-mark essays near 500 words and 8-mark notes near 250, as their papers still print.
A 70-mark clock for MIS-021. Safety philosophy answers are paced for seven 10-mark questions in three hours.
A 2-hour plan for MPA-006. Disaster medicine answers are kept to about 400 words, with the two-per-section rule built in.
Laws named with years. MEV-003 sets state each Act with its year, from the Air Act, 1981 to the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010.
Toxicology in sequence. MEV-004 sets move from sources and routes of toxicants to detoxification, genotoxicity and remediation.
Epidemiology with structure. MEV-005 sets lay out case-control, cohort and intervention designs step by step, since one has appeared in every paper since June 2024.
Disability in policy terms. MEVE-005 sets connect Universal Design, reasonable accommodation and the RPwD Act, 2016 to the workplace.
Counts anyone can check. Every theme in the tables below is tied to sessions and question numbers on IGNOU’s own files.
Clash-aware planning. The free planner flags the 9 December session shared by MEVE-002 and MGY-001.
No retired codes. Each MEV, MEVE, MIS or MPA set matches a code in the July 2026 Common Prospectus and on the December 2026 sheet.
PDF or printed booklet. Each code comes as a WhatsApp PDF or a printed copy sent by courier.
Nineteen MAENOH Codes and Four Answer Layouts in Four Junes
MAENOH has nineteen examined theory codes. Section 3.40 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, under the School of Interdisciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies (SOITS), lists ten 4-credit courses in Year I and nine 4-credit taught courses plus the MEVP 001 project in Year II, against a stated total of 80 credits. The sum works only if the project and MEVE 005, whose credit cell is blank in the MAENOH table, are 4 credits each; the PG Diploma table in section 8.36 does print 4 for MEVE 005. English is the only medium of instruction it names. MEVP 001 is assessed as a project, without a term-end paper, so the tables below leave it out.

The site keeps no separate page for each MEV code; the MAENOH course list with every MEV, MEVE and Year II code is the code-level reference, and the overview of the PG Diploma in Environmental and Occupational Health explains how the diploma relates to the MA’s first year. For the wider admission picture, the guide to IGNOU’s Common Prospectus covers other programmes.
How Each Reviewed Paper Was Set in June 2026
The MEV-001 Introduction to Environmental Health paper has used a different answer layout in each June from 2023 to 2026, per IGNOU’s June papers: in June 2023 it asked any six 5-mark and any seven 10-mark answers; in June 2024, four 15-mark and four 10-mark answers; in June 2025, four 15-mark and five 8-mark answers; and in June 2026, any ten of twelve questions at 10 marks each. The time stayed 3 hours and the total 100 marks throughout.

| MPA-006 | June 2026 | 2 hours, 50 marks | Any 5 of 10 at 10 marks, at least 2 from each section, about 400 words each | English and Hindi in one file |
MEV-005 Occupational Health and Safety is the Year I core paper that did not change: the six MEV-005 papers from December 2023 to June 2026 all asked any four of five 15-mark questions in about 500 words and any five of seven 8-mark notes in about 250 words. MEVE-002 Health Care has held that same two-part layout in all five papers from June 2024 to June 2026, while MEV-001, MEV-002 and MEV-004 moved to any ten questions in June 2026 and MEV-003 had already done so in December 2025.

The older papers used for the layout comparison: MEV-001 June 2023, MEV-004 June 2023 and MEV-005 December 2023.
MAENOH papers do not share one clock. Per IGNOU’s June 2026 papers, MIS-021 Safety Philosophy and Principles of Accident Prevention is 3 hours for 70 marks, any seven of nine at 10 marks, and MPA-006 Disaster Medicine is 2 hours for 50 marks, any five of ten with at least two from each section. Both are set by other programmes, the industrial safety certificates and the PG Diploma in Disaster Management, whose names head the papers.
Names, abbreviations and an old-format trap. IGNOU’s own files call this programme four different things. The prospectus prints MAENOH. The Year I MEV papers from June 2023 to June 2026 are headed for the PG Diploma as PGDEOH, the diploma’s older abbreviation (MEV-003 adds the M.Sc. Renewable Energy and Environment), and never name the MA, while the prospectus now calls the diploma PGDENOH. MEVE-005 papers from December 2024 to December 2025 print MAEOH, the June 2026 MEVE-005 paper prints MANOH, and the June 2026 MIS-021 paper adds “M. A. (Environmental and Occupational Health)” as MAEOH. All of them mean this programme; search by course code, not by abbreviation. The bigger risk is format: a MEV-001, MEV-002 or MEV-004 set written for the 2024 or 2025 papers trains 15-mark essays, while the June 2026 papers asked for 10-mark answers throughout.
Disagreements found in IGNOU’s documents, and one of this publisher’s own.
- The prospectus labels all ten Year I courses, including the five MEVE codes, as compulsory, yet its own description speaks of “elective courses of I year” and gives two exit points for the PG Diploma, after 36 credits and after 40.
- The 2025 MEV-001 assignment booklet titles the course “Introduction to Environmental Health” on its cover and “Introduction to Environmental and Occupational Health” on the assignment page.
- IGNOU’s June 2025 question paper index lists MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-004 and MEV-005 but no MEV-003 file, and the June 2024 SOITS index has no MEVE-005 file.
- The MIS-021 assignment filed under 2025 on the MAENOH assignment page carries the code MIS-021/TMA/2024 and a last date of 30 April 2025, and the MEV-014 link on that page opens a booklet headed for the MA (Environmental Studies).
- The June 2024 MEV-001 paper heads Section A “4×15=60” yet prints 20 marks against questions 1 and 2.
- Misprints on the papers themselves: “clinical trail” and “Absenteecism” (MEV-005, June 2026), “Carpel Tunnel Syndrome” (MEV-002, December 2024), “causalities” for casualties (MPA-006, December 2024) and “Each question carries 10 mark” (MEV-001, June 2026).
- In-house: the publisher’s own store listing for MAENOH combos still names the June and December 2025 sessions and gives a fixed number of questions per subject. That listing is being corrected; sets sold through this page target December 2026 and no question count is promised.
Themes IGNOU Set Again in 41 MAENOH Papers
Eight of the eleven questions in IGNOU’s December 2025 MEV-001 paper return to a topic set in the June 2024 or December 2024 MEV-001 paper, and four are almost word for word: indoor air pollution (December 2024 Q12), ozone treatment of water (December 2024 Q4), particulate matter and its health impacts (June 2024 Q2) and the atmospheric effect (December 2024 Q2). In June 2026 the paper changed both its layout and much of its content, with new questions on the layers of the atmosphere, ecological balance and heavy-metal estimation.
The counts on this page come from 41 IGNOU term-end papers: MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-004, MEV-005 and MEVE-002 for June 2024, December 2024, June 2025, December 2025 and June 2026; MEV-003 for the same sessions except June 2025, which IGNOU has not published; and MEVE-005, MIS-021 and MPA-006 from December 2024 to June 2026, each reviewed in full by ignouproject.com on 4 November 2026. Matching is topic-level and a human judgement: a question on the nitrogen cycle and one on the carbon cycle both count under biogeochemical cycles, and a two-part short note counts once. A count reads “n of N papers”, for example 4 of 5, and describes what IGNOU has already asked, not what it will ask next. The theme tables cover these nine codes; for MEVE-001, MEVE-003, MEVE-004 and the other Year II codes, the format is confirmed against the latest IGNOU paper on WhatsApp.
The strongest repeats in MAENOH sit in toxicology and health care: MEV-004 Environmental Toxicology asked about mutagens, carcinogens or teratogens and about bioremediation in all 5 papers from June 2024 to June 2026, and MEVE-002 Health Care asked about hazard-analysis tools such as HACCP, HAZAN, HAZID or HAZOP in all 5. In MEVE-005, five themes appeared in all 4 papers since December 2024, among them Universal Design, assistive technology and mental health at work.

MEV-003 Environmental Law and Management
Acts and agreements dominate MEV-003, and from December 2025 the paper offers fourteen questions, so short notes on two instruments at 5 marks each are common. The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 question of December 2025 is the December 2024 question repeated verbatim.

MPA-006 papers, English and Hindi in each file: MPA-006 December 2024, MPA-006 June 2025, MPA-006 December 2025 and MPA-006 June 2026.
A theme that recurs is a reason to revise it early and well, nothing more; IGNOU has also opened new ground in each sitting, as the June 2026 MEV-001 paper shows. IGNOU’s papers for other programmes are gathered on the site’s page of IGNOU last-year papers.
Five Steps From IGNOU’s MEV Papers to a MAENOH Set
- Collect every published paper for the code. For a MEV code that means the June 2024 file from IGNOU’s webservices archive and the four sessions since on ignou.ac.in, plus the 2023 papers where a layout question needs settling.
- Fix the current layout first. The June 2026 paper decides answer length. For MEV-001 that is ten 10-mark answers; for MEV-005 it is still four essays and five notes.
- Group the questions into themes. Questions are matched by topic across sessions, by hand, and each theme is logged with its question numbers.
- Order the set by recurrence, then cover the blocks. Themes seen in every paper come first; the rest of the syllabus follows from the eGyanKosh blocks, so the set is not limited to old questions.
- Write answers to the clock. Each model answer is sized to the minutes its marks allow: about 17 minutes for 10 marks on a 100-mark paper, 24 for 10 marks on MIS-021 and 22 on MPA-006.
Limits of a MAENOH Guess Paper, Stated Plainly
A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination. For MAENOH that matters more than usual, because IGNOU rewrote the MEV-001, MEV-002 and MEV-004 layouts in June 2026 and filled the June 2026 MEV-001 paper with several topics not asked in the four sessions before it.
What a MAENOH Set Helps With
Order. It puts the repeated themes first, such as remediation in MEV-004, first aid in MEV-005 and hazard-analysis tools in MEVE-002, so the hours before a sitting go where IGNOU has gone most often. It sizes each answer to the paper’s real clock, which differs between the 100, 70 and 50-mark papers. It also keeps legal names and years straight for MEV-003, where an Act cited with the wrong year reads badly.
What It Cannot Do
Prediction is out of reach. It cannot predict the December 2026 paper, replace the eGyanKosh blocks, or guarantee that IGNOU will keep the June 2026 layout; if a paper changes shape again, a set written for the old one helps with content but not with timing. Learners should study the official IGNOU material for every course and treat the set as a supplement.
Revising without spending. Every MAENOH paper linked on this page is free on IGNOU’s site; attempting the June 2026 paper of a code under a three-hour timer is the cheapest rehearsal there is. The official blocks for each MEV and MEVE code are free through the eGyanKosh study material guide, with the alternative Gyankosh route when the main search fails. The site also lists free IGNOU book downloads by programme and short revision notes for IGNOU courses.
Two Free MAENOH Helpers: Week Planner and Paper Clock
The planner turns the ticked MAENOH codes into dated revision windows, flags shared sessions and runs of consecutive days, and prices the order. The clock shows how a chosen code was set in June 2026, how its layout moved, the minutes each answer can take and the themes IGNOU set most often.

| Code | Paper | Time per answer |
|---|---|---|
| MEV-001 | 180 min, 100 marks | 10-mark answer: about 17 min |
| MEV-002 | 180 min, 100 marks | 10-mark answer: about 17 min |
| MEV-003 | 180 min, 100 marks | 10-mark answer: about 17 min |
| MEV-004 | 180 min, 100 marks | 10-mark answer: about 17 min |
| MEV-005 | 180 min, 100 marks | 15-mark answer: about 26 min; 8-mark answer: about 14 min |
| MEVE-002 | 180 min, 100 marks | 15-mark answer: about 26 min; 8-mark answer: about 14 min |
| MEVE-005 | 180 min, 100 marks | 10-mark answer: about 17 min |
| MIS-021 | 180 min, 70 marks | 10-mark answer: about 24 min |
| MPA-006 | 120 min, 50 marks | 10-mark answer: about 22 min |
Both helpers draw on the same dates, layouts and theme counts as the tables above and run entirely in the browser; nothing typed into them is sent anywhere.
Finding the Official MAENOH Papers and the December Sheet
IGNOU publishes every term-end paper free, but MAENOH files are scattered by session and by the programme that owns each code. From December 2024 onward, each session has an index on ignou.ac.in; the June 2026 question paper index lists all ten Year I files and the Year II MIS-021, MPA-006, MGSE, MED and MGY files. The December 2025 index, the June 2025 index and the December 2024 index work the same way. Earlier sessions sit on IGNOU’s webservices archive, reached through its June 2024 school list, where the June 2024 SOITS listing holds the MEV papers under a PGDEOH folder.
- Open the session index and search the page for the course code, for example MEV-004.
- Check page 1 of the PDF: the session printed under “Term-End Examination” must match the one wanted, because some IGNOU files sit in folders without a session in the path.
- For MIS-021 look under the industrial safety programmes, and for MPA-006 under the PG Diploma in Disaster Management; the MAENOH name rarely appears.
- Take the dates from IGNOU’s December 2026 date sheet of 30 October 2026; the earlier tentative sheet of 21 September 2026 gives the same MAENOH dates but a 13 January end.
Assignments are on IGNOU’s MAENOH assignment page, whose newest Year I set, at the time of review, is marked January and July 2025. The site’s own page on reading an IGNOU date sheet explains how the morning and evening columns work.
From Admit Card to Grade Card for MAENOH
Before the first paper on 25 November, the hall ticket matters most; the direct admit card download link guide covers the case where the main route is slow. After December, the term-end marks appear through the result service described on the IGNOU result lookup page, and MA-specific notes sit on the MA result page. The last cycle’s timeline is on the June 2026 term-end result page.
Assignment marks join the grade card separately; the assignment marks and grade card status page shows where to look when a TMA mark is missing. Learners unhappy with a term-end mark can apply through the revaluation and photocopy process, and once both years are complete the final grade card and the CGPA calculator help with the overall figure.
Other MAENOH Orders Learners Place Alongside
Most MAENOH learners also have assignments due before the examination. Handwritten MEV and MEVE assignments are covered on the MAENOH course list page linked earlier, and typed answers are available as solved IGNOU assignments. For fuller reading than a revision set, the site lists IGNOU help books and guide books to order online. The second-year MEVP 001 project is a separate piece of work with its own MAENOH project page. Rates for every service the publisher offers sit on one price list for ignouproject.com services.
Medium, Session and the MPA-006 Hindi Exception
Each set is prepared for the upcoming term-end examination, in every medium IGNOU examines that course in, and the medium for your course code is confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.
For MAENOH that means English for almost every code. The July 2026 Common Prospectus gives English as the medium of instruction, and every MEV, MEVE and MIS-021 paper from June 2024 to June 2026 is printed in English only. MPA-006 Disaster Medicine is different: each of its four papers from December 2024 to June 2026 prints the English paper followed by a Hindi version in the same file. The paper is set for the PG Diploma in Disaster Management, whose heading it carries. An MPA-006 set can therefore be had in Hindi.
The sets on this page target the December 2026 cycle. When IGNOU issues the June 2027 date sheet, the dates, the layouts and the theme counts here are refreshed against the newest papers.
Ordering a MAENOH Set on WhatsApp
- Send the course codes from the hall ticket to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830.
- Say PDF or printed for each code, and for MPA-006 say English or Hindi.
- Pay the amount quoted.
- Get the PDF in the same WhatsApp chat or, for a printed copy, the tracking details once it is dispatched.
The rate is ₹49 per subject code for a solved guess paper as a PDF, or ₹100 per subject code as a printed copy. Printed copies carry a one-time courier charge of ₹100 per order, whatever the number of subject codes; the PDF has no courier charge. The PDF is shared on WhatsApp once payment is confirmed. A printed copy is dispatched the next day after payment is confirmed, and the courier details are shared on WhatsApp. No arrival date is promised, because transit time depends on the courier and your location. There is no minimum order: one subject or ten, same rate per format.

Sources, Review and Limits Behind This MAENOH Page
IGNOU documents. MAENOH Questions Asked Before the December Papers
An IGNOU MAENOH guess paper is priced per course code, in two formats. The rate is ₹49 per subject code for a solved guess paper as a PDF, or ₹100 per subject code as a printed copy. Printed copies carry a one-time courier charge of ₹100 per order, whatever the number of subject codes; the PDF has no courier charge.
In MAENOH papers from June 2024 to June 2026, MEV-004 asked about mutagens, carcinogens or teratogens and about bioremediation in 5 of 5 papers, and MEVE-002 asked hazard-analysis tools and infection exposure of health workers in 5 of 5. That is a count of past questions, not a forecast of the next paper.
MAENOH previous year question papers are free on IGNOU’s own site: the session pages under ignou.ac.in list MEV, MEVE, MIS and MPA files from December 2024 onward, and webservices.ignou.ac.in holds older sessions under a PGDEOH folder. The links beside each theme table on this page open the exact files.
The December 2026 MAENOH pattern depends on the code. In June 2026, MEV-001 to MEV-004 asked for any ten questions at 10 marks each, MEV-005 and MEVE-002 kept four 15-mark and five 8-mark answers, MIS-021 asked any seven for 70 marks, and MPA-006 was a 2-hour, 50-mark paper.
The first MAENOH paper is MEV-003 Environmental Law and Management on Wednesday 25 November 2026, 2 PM to 5 PM, the opening day of the cycle per IGNOU’s date sheet of 30 October 2026. The other Year I MEV papers follow from Wednesday 2 December, each at 10 AM.
Yes, MAENOH and MAEOH name the same IGNOU MA in Environmental and Occupational Health. The July 2026 Common Prospectus prints MAENOH, the MEVE-005 papers from December 2024 to December 2025 print MAEOH, the June 2026 MEVE-005 paper prints MANOH, and the MEV papers carry only PGDEOH. Search by course code.
Yes, the MAENOH Year I and the PG Diploma in Environmental and Occupational Health use the same ten codes, MEV-001 to MEV-005 and MEVE-001 to MEVE-005, per the July 2026 Common Prospectus. IGNOU files these papers under PGDEOH, so one Year I set serves both.
No, a MAENOH guess paper is a publisher’s revision set for one code, arranged by theme across several sessions with model answers, while a previous year question paper is one actual IGNOU paper from one sitting, free on IGNOU’s site. A solved question paper adds a publisher’s answers to one such IGNOU paper.
No one can promise that for the December 2026 MAENOH papers. A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination.
MAENOH is taught in English, per the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and the MEV, MEVE and MIS-021 papers are printed in English only. MPA-006 Disaster Medicine is the exception: IGNOU prints it in English and Hindi in one file. Before payment, the WhatsApp reply confirms which language each code’s set will be in.
The MAENOH Year I run needs revising before 2 December 2026, because MEV-001, MEV-002, MEVE-003 and MEV-004 fall on four consecutive mornings, 2 to 5 December, and MEV-005, MEVE-001 and MEVE-002 follow on 7, 8 and 9 December. MEV-003 on 25 November comes first and stands alone.
MPA-006 Disaster Medicine is a 2-hour, 50-mark paper because IGNOU sets it for the PG Diploma in Disaster Management, whose heading it carries. MAENOH learners answer five questions of 10 marks each, at least two from each section, in about 400 words, which leaves roughly 22 minutes per answer.
The MIS-021 Safety Philosophy and Principles of Accident Prevention paper carries 70 marks in 3 hours, not 100. Since December 2025 it asks any seven of nine questions at 10 marks each; earlier papers opened with a compulsory 20-mark question.
The MEV-014 and MGSE-004 booklets on IGNOU’s MAENOH assignment page put assignments at 30 per cent, which leaves 70 per cent to the term-end examination. The Year I MEV and MEVE papers and booklets print no figure, so the Programme Guide is the place to confirm it for Year I.
A MAENOH learner carrying codes from both years can meet two papers on one day. On 9 December 2026, MEVE-002 and MGY-001 share the 10 AM session; on 5 December, MEV-004 is in the morning and MEV-014 in the evening; on 19 December, MEVE-004 and MPA-006 split the day.
A printed MAENOH guess paper is dispatched the next day after payment is confirmed, and the courier details are shared on WhatsApp. No arrival date is promised, because transit time depends on the courier and the learner’s location. A PDF order is shared on WhatsApp once payment is confirmed.
No, a guess paper is not enough on its own for MEV-005, MEV-001 or any MAENOH course. It supplements the official IGNOU blocks on eGyanKosh and does not replace them, and no claim is made about marks or results. It helps decide what to revise first and how long each answer should run.
Important Notice
ignouproject.com is an independent IGNOU study-support publisher. It is not the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the university, and no page on this site should be treated as an official IGNOU communication.
Programme structures, course codes, examination dates, question-paper patterns and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment.
A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination.
Study the official IGNOU material for every course you are sitting; a guess paper supplements that material and does not replace it.
No claim is made about the marks you will receive, about how an evaluator will assess your answers, or about your result. Examination and evaluation are entirely a matter for IGNOU.
