Your BHDC Booklet Says 31 October. BHDG-175 Says 30 September. Both Are IGNOU.
BAFHD is IGNOU’s four-year Bachelor of Arts (Hindi), taught and examined in Hindi, and its papers do not all run on one calendar. The 2026 BHDC files date submission by the examination. The BHDG-175 file dates it by admission session, a month earlier. This page reads both, sets out the ten Major codes from the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and prepares the handwritten set for the papers on your own record.

Quick answer. For BAFHD, the Hindi-medium Bachelor of Arts (Hindi) Major that IGNOU’s School of Humanities runs under the four-year undergraduate framework, a handwritten assignment is each paper’s Tutor Marked Assignment answered by hand in Hindi and given to the Study Centre as a hard copy; the Major holds ten BHDC papers of 6 credits each, BHDC 101, 102, 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 111, 113 and 132, and ignouproject.com prepares the set paper by paper, common-pool courses included. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which for the BHDC papers means Hindi. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. IGNOU’s 2026 booklets for BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 print 31 October for the December examination and 30 April for the June one, while the BHDG-175 booklet gives a January 2026 learner 30 September 2026. Orders go to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830 with the codes, the session and a delivery pin code.
BAFHD Last Dates: 31 October On The BHDC Booklets, 30 September On BHDG-175
31 October 2026 is the last date IGNOU’s 2026 booklets for BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 print for a BAFHD learner sitting the December 2026 term-end examination.
December 2026 examination
31 October 2026
BHDC-101 and BHDC-102, January 2026 and July 2026 sessions. BHDG-175 prints 30 September 2026 for the same sitting.
June 2027 examination
30 April 2027
Same two BHDC files. The July 2025 and January 2026 BHDG-175 file used 31 March for a June sitting.
IGNOU’s School of Humanities dates the BHDC Major papers by the term-end examination each one feeds. The BHDC-101 booklet for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions, History of Hindi Literature up to the Riti period, gives 31 October for the December examination and 30 April for the June examination, and the BHDC-102 booklet for the same two sessions repeats that pair. Both files sit in the School of Humanities assignment folder on ignou.ac.in and were read for this page on 24 September 2026. On those two papers, a BAFHD learner aiming at the December 2026 examination has until 31 October 2026, subject to what the Study Centre confirms.
BHDG-175, the Hindi interdisciplinary paper that IGNOU’s four-year assignment index files under Hindi (BAFHD)/(BAM), follows another calendar. Its booklet for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions dates submission by admission session: 31 March 2026 for a July 2025 learner and 30 September 2026 for a January 2026 learner. For the December 2026 examination that is one month ahead of the BHDC date. The IGNOU Regional Centre Delhi-2 assignment FAQ gives 31 March and 30 September as its general rule, which is where most web pages copy their date from, so a BAFHD record holding papers of both kinds is safest planned to the earlier date.
Neither booklet mentions the other. When this page was reviewed, six days separated it from 30 September.
Extensions do happen, but late. In early October 2024 IGNOU moved the December 2024 cut-off to 31 October 2024, a change Careers360 reported the day after IGNOU posted it; nothing in the 2026 booklets promises a repeat. Dates also shift by session and by Regional Centre, so the confirmation that counts is the one on ignou.ac.in and at your own Study Centre.
Thirty Marks On Each BHDC Paper And The Exam Hall Rule Behind Them
Every BHDC paper in the BAFHD Major carries a single 100-mark assignment that becomes 30 per cent of that course’s result. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The 2026 BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 booklets close on the same warning: submitting the assignment before the examination is compulsory, and a learner who has not submitted will not be allowed to sit it. IGNOU applies that rule paper by paper, so an unsubmitted BHDC-110 keeps its holder out of the BHDC-110 examination and nowhere else.
The pages behind thirty marks are heavier than the number suggests. BHDC-101 sets five 15-mark answers of about 700 words and five 5-mark notes of about 250, close to 4,750 words, and BHDC-102 repeats the pattern exactly. BHDG-175 asks more. Six answers of about 1,000 words and two notes of about 200 bring one six-credit paper near 6,400 words.
Across ten Major papers and three years, that is a small book of Hindi prose, written by hand.
Reading A Solved BHDC File Versus Handing In A Handwritten Set
Only a handwritten set can be handed in for a BAFHD paper. A solved file is for reading, and sellers who list both under one code are the reason the question keeps coming back.
A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one IGNOU course code and one session, for example BHDC-101 for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions. A BAFHD learner reads it while preparing. It cannot be the submission, because the IGNOU Regional Centre Delhi-2 assignment FAQ states that typed assignments cannot be submitted under any circumstances, online or by hand at the Study Centre, and online-submission notices from Study Centres such as SGTB Khalsa College accept handwritten work only. A printout of a BHDC solved file is typed work in exactly that sense, however accurate its Hindi.
A handwritten assignment is the BHDC answer set written out by hand in an answer book or on sheets and handed as a hard copy to the Study Centre coordinator. The 2026 BHDC-101 booklet asks that the finished answers be written साफ और सुंदर अक्षरों में, in clean and neat letters, in the answer book, and that the completed assignment be deposited with the coordinator of the learner’s Study Centre for checking. That hand-inked copy is what a BAFHD Study Centre takes, and the receipt the coordinator gives back is the learner’s proof of the date.
| Question | Solved assignment | Handwritten assignment |
|---|---|---|
| What arrives | A PDF of typed Hindi model answers | Devanagari pages written by hand, one set per code |
| Its job | Something to read and learn from | The copy you check, sign and hand in |
| Taken by a BAFHD Study Centre | No, typed work is refused | Yes, handwriting is the rule |
| Useful when | You will write the BHDC answers yourself | Time is short on one BHDC paper or several |
| Cost on ignouproject.com | ₹19 per subject | ₹320 per subject with courier |
Swipe the table sideways on a phone to see the third column.
Reading files for these codes sit with the Hindi-medium BHDC reference answers on the solved assignments page. This page deals only with the set that gets handed in.
Twelve working rules. Each comes from a BAFHD document or from the fixed commercial terms.
Devanagari from first line to last. BHDC answers are written in Hindi, in the script the paper is set in, with matras and conjuncts formed in full rather than abbreviated.
BHDC 132, not BHDC-103. The Major is matched to section 5.2 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus first, so a medieval-poetry order is written against the BAFHD code and never the Honours one.
The calendar of that code’s own file. A BHDC paper is scheduled to 31 October or 30 April. A BHDG-175 paper runs to its own, earlier date.
700 and 250, as printed. BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 fix roughly 700 words for a 15-mark answer and 250 for a 5-mark note, and ask that no answer overrun.
Three parts, in IGNOU’s order. भाग-1 to भाग-3 are kept as set, with each answer under the number IGNOU gave it, BHDC-102’s repeated 4 and 5 included.
A note stays a note. A टिप्पणी answer is written as a short note on its topic, not squeezed down from an essay.
Opening and closing given real work. The BHDC booklets want a brief reading of the question at the start of an essay answer and a summary at its end. Both are written.
Page one left for your details. Enrolment number, name, address, course name and code, assignment code, Study Centre and date are fields only you can fill.
Common-pool papers, same terms. BHDAE-182, BEVAE-181, BEDSV-101 or a skill or vocational code is written from its own booklet and priced exactly like a BHDC paper.
Back to the first batch. BAFHD began with the January 2024 session, and a paper from any session since is written to that session’s questions.
Outside-the-Major codes queried. A BHDC-103, a BHDC 106 or a BHDM minor on an order is raised with you before writing starts, because the prospectus does not place those in BAFHD.
One paper is a whole order. Someone short of BHDC 108 alone orders BHDC 108 alone.

Quote My BAFHD PapersBAFHD Course Codes: Ten BHDC Papers, 60 Major Credits, And The BHDC 132 Trap
The BAFHD Major is ten BHDC courses of 6 credits each, 60 credits in all, inside a 120-credit three-year degree that becomes a 160-credit Honours degree after a fourth year. Section 5.2 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists the ten codes, and the Bachelor of Arts section that opens the four-year programmes fixes Discipline Specific Courses at 60 credits, which ten times six meets exactly. Minor, ability, skill, interdisciplinary and value-added courses supply the other 60 credits, as 24, 8, 16, 6 and 6. A BAFHD learner therefore writes ten BHDC assignments over three years, plus one for each common-pool course the record shows.
| Code | Title (Hindi) | English gloss | Credits | Booklet read for this page |

| BHDC 108 | भाषा विज्ञान और हिंदी भाषा | Linguistics and the Hindi Language | 6 | Not read |
| Total | 10 Major courses | 60 | Equals the 60-credit Major total in the prospectus |
Swipe sideways for the booklet column. Titles are decoded from the prospectus’s legacy Hindi font; BHDC 101 and 102 follow their booklet covers.
Section 5.2 prints the ten codes without a semester column, and not in numerical order. The structure template places one Major paper in each of semesters 1 and 2 and two in each of semesters 3 to 6, without naming which. One Study Centre’s record fits that template: the Satyawati College (Evening) centre counselled BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 among the first papers for its January 2024 BAFHD batch. For everything after that, your Samarth record is the only document that says which BHDC papers fall due this session.
BHDC 132, Medieval Hindi Poetry, is the medieval-poetry paper in the BAFHD Major; BHDC-103 is not. Section 5.2 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists BHDC 132 मध्यकालीन हिंदी कविता among the ten BAFHD codes, the same code the prospectus uses for Hindi in BA Multidisciplinary (BAM) and BA Applied Hindi (BAAHD). BA (Honours) Hindi, BAHDH, carries BHDC-103 आदिकालीन एवं मध्यकालीन हिंदी कविता instead, a separate course with a separate booklet that the BAFHD table never mentions. Because the two titles sound alike, check the code on the Samarth record character by character before downloading a paper or placing an order.
| Category | Credits each | Codes listed in the prospectus | For a BAFHD learner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interdisciplinary | 6 | BHDG 175, BEGG 171, BPAG 171, BPCG 171, BPYI 101, BMDG 171, BABG 171, BDIG 171, BSOG 171, BSKG 178 | Must sit outside the Major, which excludes the Hindi paper BHDG 175 on the prospectus rule |
| Ability enhancement | 4 | BEVAE 181, then one of BHDAE 182, BEGAE 182, BSKAE 182, BUDAE 182 | No restriction; BHDAE 182 is हिंदी भाषा और संप्रेषण |
| Value-added | 6 | BEDSV 101, BNME 001 | One, in the first year |
| Vocational minor | 4 | BECS 184, BPAS 184, BHDS 184, BCOS 185, BCOS 186 | Three over three years, and one more for an early exit |
| Skill enhancement | 4 | 24 codes, BHDS 183 translation and BMPS 183 among them | Four, in semesters 1, 4, 5 and 6 |
| Discipline minor | 4 | Three codes each in ten disciplines | All three from one discipline other than Hindi, so BHDM 161 to 163 are barred |

The assignment code on a 2026 BHDC booklet is printed in Devanagari as बी.एच.डी.सी-101/टी.एम.ए/2026, which is BHDC-101/TMA/2026 in roman letters: the course code, the letters TMA and a single year. The same BHDC-101 file prints a shorter course line, BHDC-101/2026, above its instructions, and its page-one layout asks for the assignment code in a field of its own, so the three-part string is the one to copy. BHDG-175 follows an older pattern with a two-year span, बी.एच.डी.जी-175/टी.एम.ए/2025-2026, under a July 2025 and January 2026 heading. A BAFHD learner holding both kinds of paper writes each string exactly as its own booklet prints it, never one format for the whole set.
Nine places the BAFHD paperwork contradicts itself, this website included
- Two codes for medieval poetry. The BAFHD Major lists BHDC 132; BAHDH’s paper is BHDC-103. They are not interchangeable.
- Covers that leave BAFHD off. The 2026 BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 covers name BA (Honours) Hindi, BAHDH, alone. The School of Humanities’ own BUDC-101 file for Urdu names BAFUD beside BAUDH.
- Two calendars for one December. BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 print 31 October and 30 April; BHDG-175 prints 30 September 2026 and 31 March 2026.
- Two assignment-code formats. A single year on the BHDC files, a two-year span on BHDG-175.
- A paper filed under BAFHD that the rules exclude. IGNOU’s four-year index lists BHDG-175 under Hindi (BAFHD)/(BAM), while the prospectus requires the interdisciplinary course to sit outside the Major. The same booklet carries a page-two header, हिंदी में आधार पाठ्यक्रम-02, that belongs to a foundation course, calls itself CBCS, and spells its own title मधकालीन on the question page.
- Repeated question numbers. The BHDC-102 booklet numbers questions 4 and 5 twice, once in भाग-2 and again in भाग-3, and restarts its instruction list at 1.
- A programme page with blanks. IGNOU’s live BAFHD page gives the medium as Hindi but shows a duration of 0 months and a null fee, and lists BHDM-162 as हिंदी भाषा के विविध प्रयोग, a Hindi minor the prospectus both titles हिंदी भाषा के विविध आयाम and bars for a Hindi Major.
- Medium. The prospectus row for BAFHD says Hindi. Its general note on the four-year BA family says English and Hindi.
- On this website, pending correction. The ignouproject.com home page carries an acceptance assurance backed by a refund, and the per-code pages for MMPC-001 and BCOC-134 promise dispatch within seven days. This page makes neither promise, and both are queued for correction.
From BHDC Code To Courier: Five Stages Of A Hindi Major Set
Two of the five stages need you. The other three happen at this end.
- The codes are read against section 5.2. Send them as Samarth prints them; BHDC101 and BHDC-101 are both fine. A code outside the ten, a BHDC-103 or a BHDM minor, comes back to you as a question before writing begins.
- The booklet for your session is chosen. A 2026-session paper is written to the BHDC file headed January 2026 and July 2026. A backlog paper goes to the file for the session your record shows, with that file’s own date and code string.
- Your handwriting sample is studied. One photographed page in your normal pen, explained just below.
- The answers are written in Hindi, part by part. भाग-1 to भाग-3 in IGNOU’s order, 700-word answers and 250-word notes where the booklet sets them, each under its printed number, with the Devanagari assignment code copied from the file.
- The set is couriered, and you complete it. You fill page one using the IGNOU assignment cover page layout, read every answer, sign where your Study Centre wants a signature and hand the set to the coordinator against a receipt.
Your Handwriting As The Model For The Set
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
A Hindi paper gives the sample more to show than an English one does. How you run the shirorekha, the headline stroke, across each word; how you shape क्ष and ज्ञ; whether your matras lean or stand upright. Those are the features a matched set follows. A full page of ordinary Hindi prose in your usual pen, photographed flat in daylight, carries all of them, whereas a signature or a line of English carries none.
Writing the BHDC set in your own hand? The free material on this site covers it. There is a free guide to writing an IGNOU assignment by hand, a blank front page to print and finished sample assignment pages to compare against. For how an answer’s introduction, body and conclusion should sit, which the BHDC booklets single out, read how IGNOU answers are laid out; for the day you hand it in, the two ways Study Centres take submissions.

Send My BAFHD Order DetailsFinding BAFHD Question Papers When IGNOU Files Them Under BAHDH
The BAFHD question papers are on the Current Assignments page at ignou.ac.in, but the BHDC files there carry the BA Hindi Honours label, so search by course code rather than by programme.
IGNOU’s 2026 booklets for BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 name only BA (Honours) Hindi, BAHDH, on their covers, yet section 5.2 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus puts both codes in the BAFHD Major. The Urdu discipline of the same School of Humanities labels differently: its BUDC-101 file for July 2025 and January 2026 names BA Urdu (Honours) and BAFUD side by side. A BAFHD learner who searches the IGNOU portal by programme code can therefore miss the Hindi files altogether. Searching by course code finds them, and the BAHDH label does not make a BHDC-101 paper the wrong one for a BAFHD record.
- Open the portal. Go to IGNOU’s assignment download page.
- Search the code, not BAFHD. Type BHDC-101 or your own code. The School of Humanities file names look like BHDC-101-2026.
- Read the session line on the cover. The 2026 BHDC files say जनवरी 2026 और जुलाई 2026 सत्रों के लिए, for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions.
- Find the submission box before the questions. The date inside it is the one your paper carries, whatever another code’s file says.
The older webservices index helps less. Its four-year page for July 2025 to July 2026 shows one file under Hindi (BAFHD)/(BAM), BHDG-175, and its CBCS page leaves the Hindi Honours cell empty. If a BHDC paper cannot be found at all, the RC Delhi-2 FAQ tells learners to write to the school concerned; section 5.2 of the prospectus names Prof. Narendra Mishra, npmishra@ignou.ac.in, as BAFHD programme coordinator.
The course blocks cost nothing. They are in eGyanKosh’s block library, through the Gyankosh mirror route when the first is slow, and on the official study material download page.
After The Study Centre Stamp: Status, Marks And The Grade Card For BAFHD
A submitted BHDC set shows up in three stages: a status entry, then marks, then a line on the grade card beside the term-end score. The first check needs the enrolment number printed on your IGNOU identity card and the programme code BAFHD, and the steps for confirming that IGNOU has recorded a submitted assignment are on this site.
Marks arrive later, sometimes much later. Use the BHDC assignment marks lookup once they are uploaded, and the page on where assignment marks appear on the grade card to read them. Bachelor’s learners have their own grade card view for degree programmes, and at the end of the Major the final grade card for the whole programme lists all ten BHDC codes together.
To turn grades into figures, try the IGNOU percentage converter or the semester CGPA calculator. Keep the coordinator’s receipt as well; if a status line stays blank for weeks, it is the only record of the day the set went in.
Books, Guess Papers And Other Hindi Major Help Ordered Alongside
The 70 per cent term-end paper is the other half of every BHDC result, so the two usually get asked about together. For practice there are guess papers for the coming term-end, solved previous question papers and the last year’s paper for each course, useful for seeing how often a Riti-kaal or Chhayavad question comes back.
Revision material comes in three sizes: short IGNOU study notes, IGNOU help books by course code and guide books to order online. A learner moving on to the Hindi MA will find the MAHD handwritten assignment service works on the same terms against MHD codes. The fourth-year project or dissertation option carries 12 credits and is a different kind of work, so topic and report help is on the IGNOU projects page and proposal drafting on the synopsis and proposal page. Rates for anything other than assignment writing are on the charges page for other services.
Medium, session and the BAFHD name.
BAFHD’s BHDC papers are Hindi medium. The programme table in the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists Hindi as the BAFHD medium of instruction, IGNOU’s own BAFHD programme page says Hindi, and both 2026 BHDC booklets are set entirely in Hindi, although the prospectus’s general note on the four-year BA family gives English and Hindi. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For a BAFHD learner that means Hindi for the ten BHDC papers and English only for a common-pool code chosen in English, such as BEGAE-182; the guide to presenting an IGNOU assignment in Hindi covers the rest.
One practical trap. The Hindi booklets use a legacy Hindi font, so question text copied out of the PDF pastes as strings like “fganh lkfgR; dk bfrgkl” instead of हिंदी साहित्य का इतिहास. Photograph a question or retype it before sending it to anyone.
A BAFHD paper belongs to the session printed on its cover. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A learner returning after a gap usually has to complete the IGNOU re-registration form first, and then writes the session that the new record shows.
On names: BAFHD is the programme code, BHDC the prefix on its Major papers, BAHDH the older BA (Honours) Hindi that shares most BHDC codes, and BAAHD the BA in Applied Hindi. Hindi taken as one of three disciplines in the multidisciplinary degree is handled on the BA Multidisciplinary handwritten assignment page, and the older general degree is described on the BA General (BAG) overview.
Ordering A BAFHD Set On WhatsApp: What To Send And In Which Order

Evidence For This BAFHD Page, Document By Document, With Its Gaps
From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: the ten BHDC Major codes, titles and credits in section 5.2, the programme table row giving Hindi as the medium, the four-year structure template, the 60-credit Major, the 120 and 160 credit awards, the common-pool lists, and the rules keeping minor and interdisciplinary courses outside the Major. The Hindi titles were decoded from the prospectus’s legacy font. There is a plain guide to the document on the IGNOU prospectus explainer.
From IGNOU’s own files, read on 24 September 2026: the BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 booklets for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions and the BHDG-175 booklet for July 2025 and January 2026, all from ignou.ac.in or webservices.ignou.ac.in; IGNOU’s four-year and CBCS assignment index pages; and IGNOU’s BAFHD programme page. Dates, word limits, part structure, code strings and cover fields come from those booklets. The RC Delhi-2 FAQ was read in a copy posted online, and the SGTB Khalsa College and Satyawati College (Evening) Study Centre documents on their own websites.
The publisher’s own commercial terms: the ₹320 rate, courier inside that rate, hard copy only, all mediums, any session, handwriting matching at no charge, no minimum order and no promised delivery time. These are ignouproject.com’s terms, not IGNOU’s.
What could not be settled. Three booklets were read. The files for BHDC 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 111, 113 and 132 were not, so this page states no date or word limit for them. The prospectus does not place BHDC codes in semesters, gives no fourth-year courses yet, and does not explain why BHDG-175 is indexed under BAFHD. No BHDG-175 file for July 2026 turned up in the searches run for this page. One BAFHD title in the prospectus table extracted with a word that may be a misprint, and the table on this page uses the wording the BAHDH and BAAHD tables print instead. Where a gap remains, the page says so.
BAFHD Handwritten Assignment FAQ, Most Asked First
31 October for the December term-end examination and 30 April for the June one, on IGNOU’s 2026 booklets for BHDC-101 and BHDC-102. BHDG-175, which IGNOU’s four-year index files under BAFHD, prints 31 March 2026 for a July 2025 learner and 30 September 2026 for a January 2026 learner instead. Where a record holds papers of both kinds, plan to the earlier date and confirm it on ignou.ac.in and at the Study Centre, because dates shift by session and extensions are announced late.
No, typed BAFHD assignments are refused: the IGNOU Regional Centre Delhi-2 assignment FAQ says typed assignments cannot be submitted under any circumstances, online or by hand at the Study Centre, and only handwritten ones are accepted. A printed BHDC solved file counts as typed. The 2026 BHDC booklets add that the final answers go into the answer book in clean, neat handwriting.
No. Both 2026 BHDC booklets state that submitting the assignment before the examination is compulsory and that a learner who has not submitted will not be allowed to sit it. The condition is checked for each paper separately, so one missing BHDC set bars that one examination.
From the Current Assignments page on ignou.ac.in, searched by course code. The BHDC files there are labelled for BA (Honours) Hindi, so a search for BAFHD alone can come back empty, while a search for BHDC-101 finds the 2026 file at once. BHDG-175 also appears on the older webservices four-year index under Hindi (BAFHD)/(BAM).
Write to the School of Humanities. Section 5.2 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus names Prof. Narendra Mishra, npmishra@ignou.ac.in, as BAFHD programme coordinator, and the RC Delhi-2 FAQ tells learners to email the course coordinator in the school concerned. Before writing, repeat the portal search with the code typed both ways, BHDC-108 and BHDC 108.
Yes, for every course on the first-year record, common-pool papers such as BEVAE-181 and BEDSV-101 included. Each one must be in before that course’s examination. Your record decides which BHDC papers fall in the first year; the Satyawati College (Evening) Study Centre counselled BHDC-101 and BHDC-102 for its January 2024 BAFHD batch.
In Hindi, for the ten BHDC Major papers. The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists Hindi as the BAFHD medium and the 2026 BHDC booklets are set entirely in Hindi. A common-pool paper taken in English, BEGAE-182 English Communication Skills for example, is written in English at the same rate.
The ten BHDC Major codes in section 5.2 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, BHDC 101, 102, 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 111, 113 and 132, plus one assignment for each ability, skill, vocational, minor, interdisciplinary and value-added course on the record. The prospectus does not tie the BHDC codes to semesters, so the Samarth record decides which are due this session.
No. BHDC 132, Medieval Hindi Poetry, is the medieval-poetry paper in the BAFHD Major and also in BAM and BAAHD, while BHDC-103, early and medieval Hindi poetry, belongs to BA (Honours) Hindi and is absent from the BAFHD table. The two have separate booklets. Write the one printed on your record.
BAFHD is the four-year-framework BA (Hindi), with ten BHDC Major codes inside a 120-credit Major degree and a 160-credit Honours degree; BAHDH is the older BA (Honours) Hindi, with 14 BHDC core papers inside 148 credits. Both are Hindi-medium School of Humanities programmes and share most BHDC codes and booklets. The programme code on the admission record decides which rules apply, even where a booklet cover names only BAHDH.
A scan of the handwritten hard copy, prepared the way the centre asks. SGTB Khalsa College’s IGNOU Study Centre, for instance, keeps a separate online form for BAFHD and wants one PDF per course of up to 10 MB containing the filled cover page, a copy of the IGNOU identity card and the question paper, handwritten work only. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The scan is made from the pages you receive.
A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers to read; a handwritten assignment is the answer set written by hand and handed in. For a BAFHD paper only the handwritten set can go to the Study Centre, since typed work is refused. Some learners use both, the file to understand a question and the handwritten set to submit.
No. Printed or not, a PDF is typed work, and the RC Delhi-2 FAQ rules typed assignments out. Read it if it helps, then hand in a set written by hand in the answer book.
IGNOU’s assignment status service, searched with the enrolment number and BAFHD as the programme code, first shows whether a BHDC set has been recorded; marks and the grade card line follow later. If the line is still blank weeks after submission, the coordinator’s receipt is the evidence to take to the Study Centre.
Only if BHDG-175 is printed on your own record. IGNOU’s four-year index files the BHDG-175 booklet under Hindi (BAFHD)/(BAM), but the July 2026 Common Prospectus requires the interdisciplinary course to sit outside the Major discipline, which would rule a Hindi paper out for a Hindi Major. Where it is on the record, the July 2025 and January 2026 file sets six 15-mark answers of about 1,000 words and two 5-mark notes.
Yes. BAFHD began with the January 2024 session, and a paper from any session since then is written to that session’s questions. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
Each paper is ₹320, whether it is a BHDC Major code or a common-pool course like BHDAE-182. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Four papers in a session therefore come to ₹1,280.
It varies with the destination, which is why this page names no number of days. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. If your papers follow the 30 September calendar, say so in your first message.
