Quick answer. An IGNOU MBA guess paper is a publisher’s revision set of recurring questions with model answers for one MMPC course code, and for the December 2026 term-end examination the MBA papers run from 25 November 2026 (MMPC-014) to 29 December 2026 (MMPC-007) in the 2 PM to 5 PM slot, per IGNOU’s tentative date sheet printed on 14 September 2026. The recent MMPC-001, MMPC-002 and MMPC-004 papers ask for any five of eight questions at 20 marks each in 3 hours, with no compulsory case. A set costs ₹49 as a PDF or ₹100 as a printed copy per subject code, with a one-time ₹100 courier charge on a printed order; the medium is confirmed on WhatsApp for your code before you pay. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions, so this set is a revision aid, not a forecast.

When Do the December 2026 MBA Papers Start and End?

The December 2026 MBA term-end papers begin on Wednesday 25 November 2026 with MMPC-014 Financial Management and end on Tuesday 29 December 2026 with MMPC-007 Business Communication, according to IGNOU’s tentative December 2026 date sheet printed on 14 September 2026. Every one of the 20 MMPC core papers sits in the 2 PM to 5 PM column. The whole cycle runs from 25 November 2026 to 13 January 2027, and because the sheet is tentative, IGNOU can still move a date.

Six Days in a Row for Backlog Learners

A first-semester learner never faces two MBA papers on consecutive days in this cycle: MMPC-001 to MMPC-007 fall on 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 26 and 29 December. The picture changes for anyone carrying second and fourth semester codes together. From Monday 7 December to Saturday 12 December the sheet places MMPC-011, MMPC-018, MMPC-012, MMPC-019, MMPC-013 and MMPC-020 on six consecutive exam days, and the cycle’s first three days (25, 26 and 27 November) hold MMPC-014, MMPC-008 and MMPC-015 back to back.

No two MMPC core papers share a date, so a same-day clash is not possible within the core list. Specialisation papers are a separate grid: the MMPF, MMPM, MMPH, MMPO and MMPB papers also sit in the afternoon column, on dates such as 15, 17, 19, 22 and 24 December. The first free tool below flags every consecutive-day run for the codes you tick.

Clash requests are restricted. The date sheet asks learners to report any other discrepancy to datesheet@ignou.ac.in by 20 September 2026, and it will not reconsider clashes between backlog courses from different years or between different programmes. The hall ticket is where the final date and centre are confirmed; the morning and afternoon IGNOU exam timings and the exam centre allotment are explained separately, and the examination form fee is covered on the IGNOU exam fee page and, for payment steps, the guide to paying the exam fee online.

Why the 70 Per Cent Paper Decides an MMPC Grade

Each theory course in the IGNOU MBA is graded 70 per cent on the term-end examination and 30 per cent on the tutor-marked assignment, and a learner needs an overall C grade (50 to 59.9 per cent) to qualify a course, as the MBA Student Handbook and Prospectus (January 2026) sets out. The term-end examination carries 70 per cent of the final course result and assignments carry the remaining 30 per cent. The assignment is written once, at leisure, with the blocks open. The term-end paper is three hours, closed book, and carries more than twice the weight.

The handbook also makes the assignment a gate: no submitted assignment, no term-end paper for that course. So both halves matter, but the paper is where most of the grade is won or lost. The handbook does not print a separate minimum for the term-end component on its own, and no separate figure is given here. If you want to test how a TEE score and an assignment grade combine, the IGNOU percentage calculator does the arithmetic.

MBA Guess Paper, IGNOU’s Old Papers or a Solved Paper: Which One Fits Your Revision?

A guess paper is a revision set of important and recurring questions for one course code, such as MMPC-001, with model answers, prepared by a publisher from past IGNOU papers and the syllabus; sellers also call it “important questions”, “expected questions” or a “model paper”, and all of those names describe the same kind of publisher-made set. A previous year question paper is the actual paper IGNOU set in an earlier term-end examination, published free on IGNOU’s own archive. A solved question paper is that actual IGNOU paper with a publisher’s model answers added.

The three are not rivals. The old paper shows the real shape and wording; it has no answers. The solved paper adds answers to one past session. The guess paper pulls recurring themes across several sessions into one set and answers them in the current format. For MBA courses the format point is not minor: a solved MMPC-001 paper from December 2023 trains you for a 40-mark case that the June 2025 paper no longer set.

Case-free answer length. No 40-mark case padding for MMPC-001 or MMPC-002, whose recent papers dropped it.

Numericals kept in. MMPC-004 sets carry worked break-even and ratio problems, because each MMPC-004 paper from 2023 to 2025 had a numerical.

MMPC Course Codes, Credits and the Paper Format IGNOU Now Sets

The IGNOU MBA has 28 courses and 116 credits: 20 core MMPC courses of 4 credits each (80 credits), 7 specialisation courses of 4 credits each (28 credits) and the MMPP-001 project of 8 credits, per the July 2026 Common Prospectus and the MBA Student Handbook. The Common Prospectus does not print the MBA course titles itself; it points to the MBA handbook, which is where the titles below come from. MMPC is the course-code prefix the MBA and MBA (Banking and Finance) share; MBA is the programme code, so an “MBA guess paper” is always bought by MMPC code.

The MMPP-001 project (8 credits) is registered in semester 3 and evaluated on the report, not a term-end paper. The seven specialisation courses come from one area: Financial (MMPF), Marketing (MMPM), Human Resource (MMPH), Operations (MMPO) or Services. The course-by-course pages for MMPC-001 Management Functions, MMPC-002 Human Resource Management, MMPC-004 Accounting for Managers and MMPC-006 Marketing Management carry notes and assignments for those codes, and the programme overview sits on the IGNOU MBA programme page. The source document for the credit structure is summarised on the IGNOU prospectus guide.

Pattern change, measured

MMPC-001 dropped its compulsory 40-mark case study between the June 2024 and December 2024 papers: the June 2024 MMPC-001 paper still set three of five Section A questions at 20 marks plus a 40-mark case, while the December 2024 MMPC-001 paper asked for any five of eight at equal marks. MMPC-002 made the same switch a year earlier, between its June 2023 paper (case on a time-keeper selection) and its December 2023 paper. MMPC-004 was already any five of eight in June 2023. The courses did not change together, which is why a set built on one course’s old papers can mislead on another.

Conflicts and Outdated Material to Watch

  • Medium: the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists the MBA medium as “English & Hindi”, while section 3.4 of the MBA handbook says English. The December 2025 MMPC-002 paper was printed in both English and Hindi; the December 2025 MMPC-004 paper was English only.
  • Titles: the Common Prospectus prints MMPC-008 as “Information System Managers” and MMPC-011 with “Behavioral”; the MBA handbook prints “Information Systems for Managers” and “Behavioural”. The table above follows the handbook.
  • Retired codes: the MS-series (MS-01 to MS-97) belongs to the older Management Programme. IGNOU still lists MS papers in its December 2025 archive for legacy learners, but an MS guess paper does not match any MMPC course. This site’s own hub still offers free MS-series downloads under a 2026 heading; that listing is being corrected.
  • In-house pattern note: this site’s MMPC-002 course page still describes a Section A plus 40-mark Section B format, which IGNOU’s MMPC-002 papers stopped using after June 2023. Trust the paper, not the summary, until that page is updated.
  • Date sheet versions: this site’s date-sheet page cites a version of 19 August 2026; IGNOU’s current PDF is dated 14 September 2026. Third-party pages quote release dates of 7, 17, 19 and 27 August and start dates of 25 November and 1 December. Only the official PDF counts.

What Twelve MMPC Papers Actually Asked, 2023 to 2025

Compensation, wages or rewards appeared in all four MMPC-002 papers from June 2023 to December 2025 (June 2023 Q4, December 2023 Q6, June 2024 Q7 and December 2025 Q5), the only theme in the three courses that returned in every one of the twelve papers. That is a count of four papers, not a forecast of the fifth.

Six of the eight questions in the June 2025 MMPC-004 paper covered themes the December 2023 MMPC-004 paper had also set: journalising, accounting concepts as short notes, budgetary control, the annual report, DuPont analysis with Altman’s Z-score, and human resource accounting. Budgetary control sat at question 4 and human resource accounting at question 7 in both papers.

Numerical practice matters for MMPC-004 even though most of the paper is theory: the June 2023 paper opened with a final-accounts problem, December 2023 closed with material variances, and both 2025 papers ended with a break-even calculation. A learner who skips the numericals has seven questions left to choose five from, not eight.

How These Counts Were Made

The recurrence counts below come from twelve IGNOU term-end papers, each reviewed in full by ignouproject.com on 18 September 2026: four for MMPC-001 (December 2023, June 2024, December 2024, June 2025), four for MMPC-002 (June 2023, December 2023, June 2024, December 2025) and four for MMPC-004 (June 2023, December 2023, June 2025, December 2025). Each question was matched to a theme by a person reading it, not by string matching, so two readers could draw a boundary differently; “leadership and influencing people”, for example, counts the June 2025 MMPC-001 question on inspiring people to work willingly.

The theme tables cover MMPC-001, MMPC-002 and MMPC-004, the first-semester courses most MBA learners sit first; the latest MMPC-001 paper in this review is June 2025. For the other 17 MMPC codes, the format is confirmed against the latest IGNOU paper when you send your code on WhatsApp. The full papers are free on IGNOU’s site: MMPC-001 Dec 2023, MMPC-001 Jun 2025, MMPC-002 Jun 2024, MMPC-002 Dec 2025, MMPC-004 Jun 2023, MMPC-004 Dec 2023, MMPC-004 Jun 2025 and MMPC-004 Dec 2025.

What IGNOU’s Own Files Get Wrong

Reading the papers closely turns up slips worth knowing, because they explain odd wording you may meet in the hall. The June 2024 MMPC-001 paper prints the course name as “ORGANISATIOINAL”. June 2025 MMPC-001 asks for the “trails” of a great culture, meaning traits. December 2024 MMPC-001 asks for the “drives” of CSR, meaning drivers. December 2025 MMPC-002 mentions an “HR Manger”. December 2023 MMPC-004 lists a “concept of conservation” (conservatism) and a “material wage variance” (usage). The weightage line itself is printed three ways across these papers.

The archive is inconsistent too. The December 2024 MMPC-001 paper is filed under a general downloads folder with no session in its address. The December 2025 list files MMPC-018 with an en dash in place of the hyphen. Search the archive by course number rather than by the exact code string, and check the session printed on the paper itself.

How an MMPC Revision Set Is Built From These Papers

  1. Code and title check. Your MMPC code is matched to the title in the MBA handbook, and the retired MS-series equivalent is ruled out.
  2. Latest paper first. The most recent IGNOU paper available for the code fixes the format: how many questions, how many marks each, whether a case or numerical is compulsory.
  3. Themes across sessions. Earlier papers are read against the latest to list themes that returned, and in which question slot.
  4. Answers to exam size. Each model answer is written for a 20-mark slot in roughly half an hour: definition, framework, example, managerial point.
  5. Review and dispatch. BK Sahni reviews the set; the PDF goes out on WhatsApp, or a printed copy goes to the courier.

What an MBA Guess Paper Can and Cannot Do for MMPC Candidates

A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination.

Where It Helps

It puts recurring MMPC themes in front of you first: pay and rewards in MMPC-002, culture and communication in MMPC-001, budgetary control and break-even in MMPC-004. It shows answers sized for any five of eight at 20 marks, which is shorter per answer than the old 40-mark case format. It saves the hours spent reading every past paper yourself.

Where It Stops

It cannot tell you which themes the December 2026 papers will set; a theme that appeared in three of four papers can still be absent. It does not replace the blocks, and for MMPC-004 it does not replace working the numericals yourself. If IGNOU changes a pattern again, a set written for the old one will be wrong in length, which is why the format is checked against the latest paper before anything is sent.

MMPC Paper Anatomy and Minutes Per Answer

At the current MMPC format of any five questions in 3 hours, a learner who keeps 10 minutes for reading has 170 minutes for writing, or 34 minutes per 20-mark answer; the arithmetic is the same for MMPC-001, MMPC-002 and MMPC-004 because each of their recent papers gives every question 20 marks. Under the older sectioned format the 40-mark case would have taken about 68 of those minutes.

Where IGNOU Posts MBA Question Papers and the Date Sheet

IGNOU publishes past papers session by session. The newest list is the Previous Year Question Papers page for December 2025, which names every MMPC file for that session, including Oriya versions of MMPC-001, 003, 004, 005 and 006. Older sessions sit on the webservices archive under folders such as “Question Paper June 2024/SOMS/MBA-MBF”.

  1. Pick the session. Start from the most recent session listed; it shows the current format.
  2. Find the code. Search for the number (for example 018) rather than the full code, because of the naming slips noted above.
  3. Check the printed session. Confirm the month and year on page 1, not the file name.
  4. Check the date sheet. Use IGNOU’s PDF, not a screenshot, and note its printed date.

A walkthrough of the older archive is on the IGNOU last year paper guide, and the general IGNOU date sheet page explains how the June and December sheets are released. For this cycle’s full list across programmes, see the December 2026 date sheet finder, keeping in mind the version note above.

After the Last MMPC Paper: Hall Ticket, Result, Re-evaluation and Grade Card

Before the first paper: the MBA handbook says hall tickets are posted on the Samarth portal 7 to 10 days before the term-end examination, not sent by post. The IGNOU hall ticket guide covers what the ticket shows, and the step-by-step hall ticket download helps if the portal will not open.

After the papers: the December 2026 result is tracked on the IGNOU result page, and anyone still waiting on a June 2026 MMPC result can use the June 2026 TEE result tracker. The handbook allows re-evaluation at ₹750 per course within 40 days of the result and a photocopy of the answer script at ₹100 within 30 days; the process is on the IGNOU re-evaluation guide. Assignment grades appear through the assignment status and grade card check, the IGNOU CGPA calculator converts grades, and the final grade card guide covers the document issued at the end.

Other MBA Material Learners Pair With a Revision Set

Most MBA learners who order a revision set also need the semester’s assignments, and those are covered on the IGNOU MBA assignment guide and the solved assignment catalogue. First-semester books for MMPC-001 to MMPC-007 are compared on the MBA first semester books page; subject-wise help books are on the IGNOU help books list and printed guides on the guide books online page. Learners comparing formats can also read the IGNOU handwritten assignment guide, which covers assignments rather than exam revision. Third-semester learners working on MMPP-001 will find the MBA project report guide and the synopsis format page more useful than any revision set.

Medium and Session: English, Hindi and What the Papers Show

Each set is prepared for the upcoming term-end examination, in every medium IGNOU examines that course in, and the medium for your course code is confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.

The December 2025 MMPC-002 paper was printed in English and Hindi in the same question paper, with the Hindi version on pages 5 to 7, while the December 2025 MMPC-004 paper was English only; IGNOU’s December 2025 index lists no separate Hindi file for any MMPC code but does list Oriya versions of five first-semester codes. The MBA handbook states English as the medium of instruction, and the Common Prospectus says English and Hindi, so the medium for each code is confirmed with you rather than assumed.

Every set described here targets the December 2026 term-end examination. If you are sitting in June 2027 instead, say so when you write, because the format check is repeated when IGNOU publishes new papers.

Ordering an MBA Revision Set: Prices, Steps and Dispatch

₹49 PDF · ₹100 printed, per subject code

The rate is ₹49 per subject code for a solved guess paper as a PDF, or ₹100 per subject code as a printed copy. Printed copies carry a one-time courier charge of ₹100 per order, whatever the number of subject codes; the PDF has no courier charge.

The PDF is shared on WhatsApp once payment is confirmed. A printed copy is dispatched the next day after payment is confirmed, and the courier details are shared on WhatsApp. No arrival date is promised, because transit time depends on the courier and your location.

There is no minimum order: one subject or ten, same rate per format.

  1. Send your codes. List the MMPC codes, the session (December 2026) and the medium you write in.
  2. Get the check back. The code, medium and format are confirmed in reply.
  3. Pay the total. For example, three codes cost ₹147 as PDFs, or ₹300 printed plus the ₹100 courier charge, ₹400 in all.
  4. Receive. PDFs are shared on WhatsApp once payment is confirmed; printed copies are dispatched the next day, with courier details on WhatsApp.

The full list of services and rates is on the pricing and procedures page. If you prefer to buy through a store checkout, the same MMPC sets are listed in the Shri Chakradhar MMPC guess paper category.

Important Notice

ignouproject.com is an independent IGNOU study-support publisher. It is not the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the university, and no page on this site should be treated as an official IGNOU communication.

Programme structures, course codes, examination dates, question-paper patterns and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment.

A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination.

Study the official IGNOU material for every course you are sitting; a guess paper supplements that material and does not replace it.

No claim is made about the marks you will receive, about how an evaluator will assess your answers, or about your result. Examination and evaluation are entirely a matter for IGNOU.

Five questions, 20 marks each, 34 minutes apiece. Revise for that paper.
