Quick answer. An IGNOU MTTM guess paper is a revision set of important and recurring questions for one MTTM course code, with model answers, prepared by ignouproject.com from IGNOU’s past term-end papers and the syllabus. The tentative IGNOU date sheet of 21 September 2026 runs the December 2026 term-end examination from 25 November 2026 to 13 January 2027; the first MTTM-linked paper (TS-6) is on 5 December and the last (MTTM-115) on 30 December 2026. The recent MTTM papers ask any five of ten questions in about 600 words each, for 100 marks in 3 hours, and print no weightage line. Sets cost ₹49 PDF · ₹100 printed, per subject code, plus a one-time ₹100 courier charge on printed orders; they are prepared in English, the medium IGNOU sets MTTM papers in, and the medium is confirmed on WhatsApp before payment. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance.
MTTM Exam Calendar, 5 to 30 December: The Dense Weeks First
The MTTM papers run from Saturday 5 December to Wednesday 30 December 2026, according to IGNOU’s tentative date sheet for the December 2026 term-end examination, dated 21 September 2026.

Tentative sheet. Confirm the date and session on your hall ticket.
The sheet prints the morning and evening sessions as two columns, and the text copy loses those column headings, so this page gives the date only. Your hall ticket names the session. IGNOU’s instructions on past sheets set the morning session from 10 AM to 1 PM and the evening session from 2 PM to 5 PM; the two IGNOU exam sessions are explained separately.
Category II First Semester: Four Papers on Four Days
A Category II learner sitting the whole first semester faces MTTM-1 on 7 December, MTTM-2 on 8 December, MTTM-3 on 9 December and TS-1 on 10 December: four papers on four consecutive days. MTTM-4 follows on 12 December and TS-2 on 14 December. Second-year learners get a similar block: MTTM-9, MTTM-10 and MTTM-11 on 22, 23 and 24 December, then MTTM-13, MTTM-14 and MTTM-115 on 28, 29 and 30 December.
That pattern decides the revision order. The week before 7 December is the last clear week for a first-semester learner, because no gap opens until 11 December.
Old and New Codes Sharing a Date
The same sheet carries the new MTTM 101 series alongside the old one. MTTM-1 and MTTM-101 are printed next to each other on 7 December, MTTM-3 sits with MTTM-102 on 9 December, MTTM-5 with MTTM-105 on 16 December, and TS-2 shares 14 December with MTTM-104. A learner carrying one old backlog code and new first-semester codes should check these four dates first. MTTM-106 to MTTM-114 and MTTM-116 to MTTM-118 do not appear on the December 2026 sheet at all, and neither does the old MTTM-15.
Third-party pages quote different end dates and release dates for this cycle; only the official sheet settles it. Hall tickets, exam centres and fees are covered on the IGNOU hall ticket guide, the term-end exam fee page and the December 2026 date sheet explainer.
Assignment Done, Term-End Still Ahead: What Settles an MTTM Course
The term-end paper is where an MTTM course is won or lost, because the assignment alone cannot complete a course: IGNOU’s 2026 first-year MTTM booklet says assignments must be submitted in time in order to appear in the term-end examination, and the paper then decides the rest.
IGNOU prints no weightage figure on any of the MTTM papers compared here, and the 2026 first-year assignment booklet prints none either. This page therefore does not state a percentage split between assignment and examination for MTTM; the MTTM Programme Guide is the place to confirm it. One rule is printed: IGNOU’s MTTM programme page says Category II learners must score 40 per cent in each of the four additional TS courses, whose marks are not added to the overall evaluation.
Assignment marks and grade-card updates are tracked on the assignment result and grade card page, and the IGNOU percentage calculator converts the final grade card into a percentage.
Guess Set, IGNOU Past Exam or Worked Answers: Matching Each to an MTTM Need
A guess paper is a revision set of important and recurring questions for one course code, such as MTTM-115, with model answers, prepared by a publisher from past papers and the syllabus; “important questions”, “expected questions” and “model paper” are other names learners use for the same thing.
A previous year question paper is the actual paper IGNOU set in an earlier term-end examination, such as the June 2025 MTTM-115 paper, and it is free on IGNOU’s question-paper archive. A solved question paper is that actual IGNOU paper with a publisher’s model answers added.

| Item | Guess paper | Previous year paper | Solved paper |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | Recurring MTTM themes for one code, answered | IGNOU’s own past paper | IGNOU’s past paper with answers |
| Who makes it | A publisher | IGNOU | A publisher |
| Cost | ₹49 PDF or ₹100 printed per code here | Free | Varies by seller |
| Best for | Revising themes that came back across sessions | Seeing the real format | Checking answer length on one session |
| Cannot do | Tell you the coming questions | Show which themes repeat unless several are compared | Cover a session it was not set for |
For MTTM the three work best together: two or three free IGNOU papers per code to learn the format, then a revision set organised by the themes those papers share. IGNOU solved question papers are listed separately for learners who want answers to one specific session.
Slot-aware. Themes are grouped the way MTTM papers place them, so a learner knows which questions usually open and close a paper.
Old series first. Sets follow MTTM-1 to MTTM-14 and MTTM-115, the codes most learners on the December 2026 sheet still sit.
New series on request. MTTM-101 to MTTM-105 are on the sheet too; the set is matched to the code your registration prints.
600-word answers. Model answers are sized for the TEE note of about 600 words, not the 500-word assignment limit.
Short notes kept. MTTM-115 and MTTM-11 still close with short notes; those are answered at 150 or 300 words.
Category II covered. TS-1, TS-2, TS-3 and TS-6 sets are available for learners carrying the additional papers.
English medium. MTTM papers are set in English; that is the medium MTTM sets are prepared in.
One code, one set. Each set covers a single course code, so nothing is paid for twice.
Dated to December 2026. Sets target the upcoming term-end examination, not an earlier session.
Two formats. A PDF on WhatsApp, or a printed copy sent by courier.
Free tools first. The run planner and answer clock below work without any order.
Named reviewer. Every set and this page are reviewed by BK Sahni.
Old Series, New Series: MTTM Numbering, Credit Totals and How Each Exam Is Built
Two MTTM code series are live at once. IGNOU’s MTTM programme page lists the series most learners sit, MTTM 1 to MTTM 14 and MTTM 115, while the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists only the semester-wise MTTM_NEW structure, MTTM 101 to MTTM 118. The tentative December 2026 date sheet carries both: every old-series code except MTTM-15, and the five new first-semester codes, MTTM-101 to MTTM-105.

The prospectus lists MTTM 115 MICE Management in Semester II of MTTM_NEW, where the old booklet places it in Semester IV; the code is the same and the December 2026 date is 30 December either way. Eighteen theory courses at 4 credits make 72, and the 8-credit dissertation brings MTTM_NEW to the 80 credits the prospectus states (four semesters of 20).
How the Four Reviewed MTTM Papers Are Built
The June 2025 MTTM-115 paper is 3 hours and 100 marks: answer any five of ten questions in about 600 words each, all carrying equal marks, with Question 10 split into four 150-word short notes worth 5 marks each.
Swipe sideways to see every column.
| Code | Latest IGNOU paper | Time and marks | Attempt rule | Short notes | Medium |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MTTM-1 | June 2024 | 3 hours, 100 | Any five of ten, 20 each | Q2 and Q10: two 10-mark notes | English |
| MTTM-11 | December 2025 | 3 hours, 100 | Any five of ten, 20 each | Q5: two 300-word notes | English |
| MTTM-12 | June 2024 | 3 hours, 100 | Any five of ten, equal marks, not printed per question | None | English |
| MTTM-115 | June 2025 | 3 hours, 100 | Any five of ten, 20 each | Q10: four 150-word notes | English |
| TS-2 | June 2025 | 3 hours, 100 | Any five of ten, 20 each | Q10: four 150-word notes | English and Hindi |
None of these papers prints a weightage line, a section split or a compulsory question. MTTM-12 changed shape inside one year: the June 2023 paper printed 20 marks against every question and included a four-part short-note question, while the December 2023 and June 2024 papers print no per-question marks and no short-note question at all.
Title Drift and Naming Slips to Watch
Check the code before you revise or buy. IGNOU’s own documents disagree in small ways that matter when you search for papers or sets.
- The programme name is printed four ways on recent papers: Master of Tourism and Travel Management on most, Master of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM-11, June 2023), Master of Travel and Tour Management (MTTM-1, June 2023) and Master of Arts in Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM-01, June 2024).
- Codes are padded differently in IGNOU’s archive: MTTM-1, MTTM-01 and MTTM-001 are the same course, as are MTTM-12 and MTTM-012; the December 2025 session list files MTTM-3 as MTTM-03 and MTTM-4 as MTTM-004.
- Titles drift: the programme page says Information Management Systems and Tourism and Accounting and Finance for Tourism Managers, the assignment booklets say Information Management System and Tourism and Accounting and Finance for Managers in Tourism, and the June 2024 MTTM-14 paper is headed Tourism Transport Operations.
- The July 2026 Common Prospectus spells MTTM 116 as Cultural Producation and Heritage Management; the table above corrects it to Production.
- Some MTTM-115 papers print the note as answer any five question and all question carry equal mark (June 2023 and June 2024); the meaning is unchanged.
- On this site, the address /ignou-mttm/ currently opens the MTTM dissertation guide rather than a course hub, and a store link named as an MTTM-12 guess paper opens a ₹149 MTTM-12 book. Both are being corrected; use the code table above as the reference.
- Older guess papers circulate for MTM-15, the course MTTM-115 replaced for learners enrolled from July 2020; check that any set you use says MTTM-115.
Assignment questions for each code are a separate product: the MTTM handwritten assignment page sets out both 2026 booklets and their two June deadlines.
Fifteen Past MTTM Exams Side by Side: Themes That Kept Coming Back
MTTM-1 asked managerial skills, decision making, MBO and managerial ethos at Questions 3, 4, 5 and 6 in each of its last three papers, and no other MTTM course compared here is that fixed.
MTTM-1: The Same Four Slots Three Times
Four MTTM-1 themes sat in the same question number in all three papers compared: managerial skills at Question 3, decision making at Question 4, MBO at Question 5 and managerial ethos or values at Question 6, in June 2023, December 2023 and June 2024.

MTTM-11: Local Planning Closes Every Paper
Local-level tourism planning was the last question, Question 10, in all four MTTM-11 papers compared (June 2023, December 2023, June 2024 and December 2025), and the role of UNWTO was Question 7 in the last three of them.

How These Counts Were Made
The counts come from fifteen IGNOU MTTM term-end papers, each reviewed in full by ignouproject.com on 2 November 2026: three MTTM-1 papers (June 2023 to June 2024), four MTTM-11 papers (June 2023 to December 2025), four MTTM-12 papers (December 2021 to June 2024) and four MTTM-115 papers (June 2023 to June 2025). A theme counts when a question asks for the same idea, whatever the wording, so “seen in 3 of 4” is a judgement made question by question, not a string match and not a forecast. The theme tables cover MTTM-1, MTTM-11, MTTM-12 and MTTM-115; for other MTTM codes and the TS papers, the format is confirmed against the latest IGNOU paper on WhatsApp.
IGNOU papers behind these tables, one link each: MTTM-1 June 2023, MTTM-1 December 2023, MTTM-1 June 2024, MTTM-11 June 2023, MTTM-11 December 2023, MTTM-11 June 2024, MTTM-11 December 2025, MTTM-12 December 2021, MTTM-12 June 2023, MTTM-12 December 2023, MTTM-12 June 2024, MTTM-115 June 2023, MTTM-115 December 2023, MTTM-115 June 2024, MTTM-115 June 2025.

Building an MTTM Set: Five Steps From Code to Final Review
Each MTTM set is built in five steps, starting from the exact code and ending with a named review.
- Start from the code your hall ticket prints. Old-series MTTM-1 and new-series MTTM-101 are different courses even when they share 7 December; the set is built for the one you sit.
- Lay the recent IGNOU papers side by side. Each question is matched by theme and by its question number, which is how the fixed MTTM-1 slots and the MTTM-115 opening question showed up.
- Rank themes by how often they returned. A theme seen in four of four papers is revised before one seen once; a theme seen once is labelled as seen once.
- Write answers to the TEE length. Essay answers are sized near 600 words, and short notes at 150 or 300 words where the course still sets them.
- Check the set against the block material. Answers are cross-checked against the IGNOU course blocks, then reviewed by BK Sahni before the set is released for December 2026.
Honest Limits: What Any MTTM Study Aid Achieves and Misses
A guess paper is a revision aid built from past IGNOU question papers and the syllabus. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance, and no claim is made that any question in this set will appear in your examination.
Jobs a Revision Set Does Well
- It puts the MTTM-1 slot themes, MTTM-11 local planning and MTTM-115 business travel at the front of your revision, because those came back most.
- It shows what a 600-word MTTM answer looks like, which most learners only know as a 500-word assignment.
- It gives short-note practice for the courses that still set them.
Limits No Set Can Remove
- It cannot tell you the December 2026 questions; MTTM-12 has already moved its themes between slots in every paper compared.
- It does not replace the IGNOU blocks, especially for MTTM-101 to MTTM-105, which have far fewer IGNOU papers to learn from.
- If IGNOU changes the format again, as it did for MTTM-12 between June and December 2023, a set built on the old format answers the wrong shape.
Revise it free first. IGNOU’s MTTM blocks are on eGyankosh, IGNOU’s study material library, with a second route through the Gyankosh download guide. Printed blocks and other books are covered on the IGNOU books download page, and short revision notes on IGNOU study notes. Past papers are free on IGNOU’s archive, linked in the archive section below. Many learners pass on these alone.

Official MTTM Archive and Timetable: Where IGNOU Files Them
IGNOU publishes MTTM question papers session by session, a few months after each examination; the December 2025 papers are the latest set listed, and the June 2026 list is still empty.
- Open the December 2025 question-paper list on ignou.ac.in and search for MTTM; it lists fifteen MTTM files, including MTTM-115.
- For 2023 and 2024, use the School of Tourism index pages for June 2023, December 2023 and June 2024; MTTM files sit under the BIHM/MTM heading.
- Search with every padding of the code, because the same course is filed as MTTM-1, MTTM-01 and MTTM-001.
- Before relying on a file, look at the session printed on page 1.
- For dates, open IGNOU’s tentative December 2026 date sheet and search for MTTM01 or TS01; the sheet pads codes with a zero.
The MTTM course list and category rules are on IGNOU’s MTTM programme page, and the 2026 assignment deadlines are in the 2026 first-year MTTM assignment booklet. The bilingual June 2025 TS-2 paper shows what a Category II paper looks like. General date-sheet help is on the IGNOU date sheet page, and the prospectus itself on the IGNOU prospectus guide.
Beyond 30 December: Admit Card, Marks, Rechecking and Final Record
December term-end results usually follow in the new year, and the MTTM grade card updates course by course once both the paper and the assignment are marked.
Download the hall ticket before 5 December if a TS paper is on your list, since TS-6 is the first MTTM-linked paper. After the examination, the IGNOU term-end result page explains where marks appear, the re-evaluation guide covers rechecking a paper, and the final grade card guide covers the programme-end record. The CGPA calculator is useful once several courses are complete.
Alongside the Exam Set: Assignment Answers, Books and Rate Card
Most MTTM learners who order a revision set also need something for the assignment side of the same course.
Typed answers for the 2026 MTTM booklets are on IGNOU solved assignments, chapter-wise books on IGNOU help books and IGNOU guide books online, and the full rate card on the services and charges page. Learners at the dissertation stage can use the MTTM 16 and MTTMP 119 dissertation guide. Guess papers for other programmes are listed on the IGNOU guess papers hub.
Language of the Exam: English for MTTM, Two Languages for TS
MTTM papers are English only, while the TS papers Category II learners sit are bilingual: the June 2025 TS-2 paper prints all ten questions in English and again in Hindi across 8 pages, where each MTTM paper compared runs to 2 or 3 English pages.
Each set is prepared for the upcoming term-end examination, in every medium IGNOU examines that course in, and the medium for your course code is confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.
For MTTM courses that means English, the medium of instruction on both the programme page and the July 2026 prospectus. For TS-1, TS-2, TS-3 and TS-6, ask on WhatsApp whether a Hindi set is available for your code before paying. Every set targets the December 2026 cycle; a set for the June 2027 cycle is prepared once that date sheet is issued.

Begin my MTTM order on WhatsAppSources, Reviewer and Known Limits Behind the MTTM Guide
Three kinds of source sit behind this page, and they are kept apart. IGNOU documents: the July 2026 Common Prospectus, IGNOU’s MTTM programme page, the 2026 MTTM assignment booklets, the tentative December 2026 date sheet dated 21 September 2026, and the fifteen MTTM papers plus one TS paper linked above. The publisher’s analysis: the theme tables, the n of N counts, the slot observations and the time budget. The publisher’s terms: prices, formats, dispatch and medium confirmation.
Limits, stated plainly: the December 2025 papers for MTTM-1, MTTM-12 and MTTM-115 are listed by IGNOU but are not yet part of the theme tables; MTTM-101 to MTTM-105 are new, so their format is confirmed against the first IGNOU papers on WhatsApp; the date sheet is tentative and the session slot comes from your hall ticket.

Seventeen MTTM Guess Paper Doubts, Cleared
The first MTTM-linked paper is TS-6 Tourism Marketing on Saturday 5 December 2026, per IGNOU’s tentative date sheet of 21 September 2026. The first old-series MTTM paper, MTTM-1, is on Monday 7 December, and the last, MTTM-115, is on Wednesday 30 December. Confirm the session on your hall ticket.
The tentative December 2026 sheet lists MTTM-1 to MTTM-14, MTTM-115, TS-1, TS-2, TS-3 and TS-6, plus the new first-semester codes MTTM-101 to MTTM-105. MTTM-15, MTTM-106 to MTTM-114 and MTTM-116 to MTTM-118 are not on it. The sheet writes codes with a zero, such as MTTM01.
Recent MTTM papers are 3 hours and 100 marks: answer any five of ten questions in about 600 words each, all carrying equal marks. MTTM-115 and MTTM-11 still close with short notes, while the December 2023 and June 2024 MTTM-12 papers set none. No paper compared prints a weightage line.
Themes repeat, wording does not. In MTTM-1, managerial skills, decision making, MBO and managerial ethos sat at Questions 3 to 6 in all three papers from June 2023 to June 2024, and MTTM-11 closed with local-level planning in 4 of 4 papers. A repeated theme is a revision priority, not a promise.
An MTTM guess paper costs ₹49 per subject code as a PDF, or ₹100 per subject code as a printed copy. Printed orders add a one-time ₹100 courier charge per order, whatever the number of codes; the PDF has no courier charge. There is no minimum order.
MTTM course sets are prepared in English, because IGNOU sets MTTM papers in English and the programme page and July 2026 prospectus give English as the medium. The TS papers for Category II learners are bilingual, so for TS-1, TS-2, TS-3 or TS-6 ask on WhatsApp about a Hindi set before paying.
Study the series your registration slip and hall ticket print. Most learners sit MTTM-1 to MTTM-14 and MTTM-115, the series on IGNOU’s MTTM programme page. The July 2026 prospectus lists MTTM_NEW, MTTM-101 to MTTM-118, and only MTTM-101 to MTTM-105 are on the December 2026 sheet.
No. A previous year question paper is the actual paper IGNOU set in an earlier session, free on IGNOU’s archive. An MTTM guess paper is a publisher’s revision set for one code, built by comparing several of those papers and answering the themes that came back, with model answers.
IGNOU’s own archive has them free. The December 2025 list on ignou.ac.in shows fifteen MTTM files, and the School of Tourism index pages hold the 2023 and 2024 papers under the BIHM/MTM heading. Search every padding of the code, such as MTTM-1, MTTM-01 and MTTM-001.
About 600 words per full answer, as the note on recent MTTM papers says, which is more than the roughly 500 words the 2026 assignment booklet asks for. Short notes are shorter: about 300 words for a 10-mark note in MTTM-11 and about 150 words for a 5-mark note in MTTM-115.
Yes. TS-6 is on 5 December, TS-1 on 10 December, TS-2 on 14 December and TS-3 on 15 December 2026 on the tentative sheet. IGNOU’s MTTM programme page says Category II learners must score 40 per cent in these additional courses, and their marks are not added to the overall evaluation.
No. No one outside IGNOU knows the questions in advance. An MTTM guess paper helps you put the themes that came back across IGNOU’s recent papers first, and practise answers at the right length, but it does not replace the IGNOU blocks.
A printed copy is dispatched the next day after payment is confirmed, and the courier details are shared on WhatsApp. No arrival date is promised, because transit time depends on the courier and your location. The PDF is shared on WhatsApp once payment is confirmed.
Both, depending on the document. The old MTTM booklet places MTTM 115 MICE Management in Semester IV, while the July 2026 prospectus lists it in Semester II of MTTM_NEW. The code and the paper are the same, and the December 2026 date is 30 December either way.
Keep about 10 minutes for reading and choosing, then give each 20-mark answer about 34 minutes. A 10-mark short note gets about 17 minutes and a 5-mark note about 8 to 9 minutes. The answer clock tool above works this out for each reviewed MTTM code.
Check that it names your exact code and series, such as MTTM-115 rather than MTM-15, that it targets December 2026, and that answers match the 600-word format. Treat any seller who claims a percentage of questions will come, or promises marks, with caution.
No weightage line appears on any of the MTTM papers compared here, from December 2021 to December 2025, and the 2026 first-year assignment booklet prints none either. The split between assignment and examination is confirmed in the MTTM Programme Guide.
