Why A CSR Paper Is Due In March And Not In October

Instruction 5 on all three live CSR booklets opened for this page gives the same pair, and it is not the pair most study-help sites reprint against this programme.

The School of Management Studies pair of 31 October and 30 April circulates so widely that it gets copied onto CSR pages by people who never opened a MEDS booklet. It does not govern a MEDS, MEDSE or MEDSP code. Neither does anything printed for a semester-examined degree, because MACSR is examined year wise rather than by semester, which the programme summary table in the prospectus records against the January and July cycles.

Two qualifiers belong beside those dates. The first is that IGNOU issues university-wide extension notices that override what a booklet prints: the June 2026 cycle was extended twice by public notification, so the date on your file is a floor rather than a fixed point. The second is that dates move by Regional Centre. Confirm the operative one on ignou.ac.in and with your own Regional Centre before you plan a writing schedule. The only real urgency a CSR learner faces is the date printed on their own file and whatever their centre has issued since; nothing on this page expires by any design of ignouproject.com.

One further line on every CSR booklet changes how a backlog learner should read all of this. Irrespective of the year and session of your registration, you are instructed to submit the latest assignments uploaded on the website. That instruction has an unusual consequence on this programme, and it is set out under the course tables below, because the latest MACSR file IGNOU has uploaded is older than most learners assume.

The Thirty Per Cent That Decides Whether You Sit The Examination

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On MACSR that share arrives as one assignment per course code worth 100 marks, and the booklet states the shape in a single sentence at the top of the file: you will do one assignment with five questions for each course.

What the sentence hides is that five questions means three different things on this programme. Ten of the eighteen taught codes follow the plain form of five questions at 20 marks each with a printed guideline of around 600 to 800 words per answer, which is roughly 3,000 to 4,000 words of longhand for one course. MSW-009 and MSWE-002 keep the five-question count but break each question open: two 20-mark questions with an internal choice, then any two of four at 10 marks, any four of six at 5 marks, and any five of eight at 4 marks, with word limits of 600, 300, 150 and 100 running down the page. MPCE-031 and MPCE-033 abandon the shape entirely and run Section A, Section B and Section C at 45, 25 and 30 marks.

A learner who plans an evening on the assumption that every CSR paper is five long essays will be wrong about four of them, and the four are exactly the ones where the marks are easiest to drop, because a 4-mark short note answered at essay length wastes an hour and earns nothing extra. The pattern is printed on your own paper. Read it before you buy a pen refill.

There is a second reason to read it this cycle rather than trusting a senior’s file. The MPCE-031 word limits changed between the two booklets read for this page. The July 2023 file asked for 1,000 words in Section A, 400 in Section B and 50 in Section C. The July 2024 file asks for 500, 200 and 200. The marks split did not move, the questions barely moved, and nobody announced the change. Anyone working from the older file is writing Section A at double length and Section C at a quarter of it.

Those marks are also an eligibility gate rather than a bonus. A course with no assignment on record does not complete, whatever the term-end script says, and once the study centre passes the figure up it sits against that course code permanently. Reading A Model Answer Is Not The Same As Submitting One

Two products arrive on WhatsApp described in nearly the same words, and only one of them can cross a counter, so both are defined here before either is weighed against the other. A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers covering one course code in one session, published so that a learner can study how a full-mark answer is put together before writing their own. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on A4, tied per course code, and submitted in hard copy at your allotted study centre. The first is preparation and the second is the submission, and printing the first does not convert it into the second.

The CSR booklet settles that in its own words at instruction 4: you should write in your own handwriting and only handwritten assignments are accepted. Nothing on this page and nothing sold anywhere else changes that sentence.

On MACSR the gap between reading and submitting is wider than it looks, because of what a CSR answer has to contain. MEDS-053 asks you to discuss the rating scales used to assess an NGO and to explain why a social venture counts as a new business model. MEDS-054 asks for the principles of Social Return on Investment and for the procedure of auditing a CSR programme. MEDS-051 asks for the CSR-related sections of the Companies Act, 2013. Those are answers with named instruments and worked structure inside them, and a bundle copied off a screen without following the argument still reads as unlearned to a counsellor marking against the blocks.

If a reference file is what you actually came for, the programme-wise and code-wise library of IGNOU solved assignments is where it lives. Printing one does not turn it into a MACSR submission, and neither product replaces the CSR blocks IGNOU already posted to you.

Twelve statements before a single CSR code reaches a price.

The first six are where a MACSR bundle actually goes wrong. The last six are limits this page will not soften for anyone who asks.

• One rate across five prefixes. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. A MEDS fundamentals paper, a MDV gender paper and a MPCE organisational behaviour paper cost the same, although only the first was written for this degree.
• The mark pattern is read, not assumed. Ten codes run five questions at 20 marks, two run the sectioned social-work form, and two run Section A, B and C at 45, 25 and 30. Every code you send is checked against its own pattern before a page is planned, because the wrong pattern costs marks even when the content is right.
• Which folder your paper is filed in gets checked. The MACSR first-year set and the PGDCSR set for the same sessions hold identical questions under different covers. Whichever one you downloaded, the questions are matched to your codes rather than to the programme name on the cover.
• Padding is resolved instead of bounced. The prospectus prints MSW – 009 and MDV- 102. The booklets print MSW – 009 in the first year and MDV-102 in the second, spaced one way and closed up the other in one file. Whichever spelling you send is matched to the paper.
• The project code is named and removed. MEDSP-051 Project Work in CSR carries eight credits and no Tutor Marked Assignment. If it appears in your list it is flagged and taken off the total rather than quietly billed as a subject.
• The uploaded paper, not your admission year’s. Every CSR booklet carries one line telling you to answer whichever set is currently posted, whatever year you registered in. On MACSR that line points somewhere unusually specific, and the course-code section below sets out where.
• Matched to the hand you already write in. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. A registration that can run four years against a two-year minimum is a long stretch for one hand to stay consistent by luck.
• Whatever medium IGNOU issues. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MACSR section 3.47 records the medium of instruction as English and every live file read for this page is English, so in practice the clause resolves to a single paper rather than a choice.
• Ordered by code, never by year. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. Two MACSR learners in the same second year can share nothing at all, because the entire second year is thirty-six credits chosen from a sixty-four credit menu.
• A backlog code is ordinary work. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A learner who came in laterally from the diploma and left MSW-009 behind is handled exactly like a fresh registration.
• Paper only, never a file. No soft copy or PDF is sold. If your centre demands an upload, the scanning is yours to do from the bundle that arrives, which keeps the inked original in your hands until a receipt exists for it.
• Nothing is claimed about the outcome. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Eighteen CSR Course Codes Across Two Years And Five Prefixes

MACSR is the programme code on your admission record and in section 3.47 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus. The course codes beneath it come from five prefixes rather than one: MEDS on the four CSR core papers and on the urban and ethics papers, MEDSE on the development elective, MEDSP on the project, MSW and MSWE on the two social-work papers, MDV on seven development papers, and MPCE on two psychology papers. One degree, six prefixes on the register, and a second year assembled almost entirely out of other programmes’ course families.

Section 3.47 places MACSR in the School of Extension and Development Studies, records eligibility as graduation in any discipline, records the medium of instruction as English, and sets a two-year minimum against a four-year maximum. It also records the route in: a learner who completes the Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility may take lateral entry to the second year of MACSR by credit transfer for the PGDCSR courses.

The credits below were added rather than trusted, because column bleed between adjacent prospectus tables is a known failure on this document. First year: four CSR papers at six credits each is twenty-four, MSW-009 at four is twenty-eight, and the single elective at eight reaches thirty-six. Second year: thirty-six credits chosen from a list that prints sixty-four when every row is counted. Thirty-six and thirty-six is seventy-two, which is the total the table itself states. Counting every printed row instead gives one hundred, which is the arithmetic that tells you the second-year list is a menu rather than a syllabus.

Year One: Six Papers That Are Also The Whole PGDCSR Diploma

Two features of that table decide what a first-year order looks like. The first is the elective pair at the bottom: MEDSE-046 and MEDSP-051 both carry eight credits and the table’s own footnote reads that one of the two is to be elected. Take the development paper and you have six assignments to write. Take the project instead and you have five, because IGNOU issues no Tutor Marked Assignment for MEDSP-051 at all. A MACSR learner can therefore finish the taught side of the degree having never written a project, which is unusual for a master’s programme and is worth stating in your first message, since it changes the order by one subject.

The second feature is larger. These same seven rows, at these same credits, are the entire Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility. Section 8.22 of the same prospectus prints MEDS-051, MEDS-052, MEDS-053, MEDS-054, MSW-009, MEDSE-046 and MEDSP-051 with the identical credit column and closes with the words Total Credits 36. That is not merely a structural resemblance. The July 2024 and January 2025 PGDCSR booklet on IGNOU’s diploma index and the first-year half of the MACSR booklet on IGNOU’s master’s index carry the same six assignments with the same questions in the same order, down to the wording of every one of the thirty questions. Both were opened for this page and compared line by line. A first-year MACSR learner and a PGDCSR learner are writing the same paper; the only difference that reaches the evaluator is the programme name each writes on the cover sheet. Year Two: Thirty-Six Credits Chosen From A Sixty-Four Credit Menu

Nothing in that list is compulsory. The instruction above it reads choose any 36 credits, so two learners admitted in the same July can hold entirely different second-year lists and neither of them is wrong. Eight rows carry six credits and four carry four, which means the arithmetic that reaches thirty-six is not unique either: six six-credit papers gets you there, and so does four six-credit papers plus three four-credit ones. The second route is one paper more to write for the same credits, and that is worth knowing before you re-register rather than afterwards.

The four-credit rows carry a further complication. The prospectus prints the words 12 Credits to be taken together on the MSWE-002 row. Twelve credits is three of the four-credit courses, but the table gives no bracket, no asterisk and no list naming which three, and four four-credit courses are printed. Whether the bundle is MPCE-031, MPCE-033 and MSWE-002, or MPCE-033, MSWE-002 and MEDS-055, cannot be recovered from the text of the document. Confirm the grouping with the School of Extension and Development Studies before you re-register against those rows, and do not let any code list, including this one, settle it for you.

How A MACSR Set Gets Written Between Your Message And The Courier

What follows is the sequence a CSR order moves through. The first two steps carry most of the risk on this programme, because the thing most likely to spoil a MACSR bundle is answering the right questions in the wrong shape.

1. Each code is placed in its year and its mark pattern. Your list is checked against the eighteen taught codes in section 3.47, each one is traced to the numbered assignment that holds it, and the pattern behind that number is fixed before anything is drafted. MEDSP-051 is set aside with a note rather than priced, so the reply counts published papers rather than the codes you sent.
2. The cover of the file is read as well as its contents. A first-year CSR paper can arrive headed Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility rather than Master of Arts. The questions are still yours and the answers are unaffected. The programme code you write on your own sheet is not, and MACSR is what belongs there.
3. The answers are planned to the length the paper prints. Around 600 to 800 words for a 20-mark question, 600 for the long social-work questions, 300 for a 10-mark part, 150 for a 5-mark part and 100 for a 4-mark note, and on the psychology papers whatever Section A, B and C say on the file you actually hold, since those figures moved between the two sessions read for this page.
4. Every answer is built from the CSR and development blocks. A question on stakeholder classification, on ISO 26000, on Social Return on Investment or on the seventy-fourth amendment is answered from the units IGNOU issued, because your counsellor marks against those units. 5. Blue or black on A4, both sides, tied course wise. Instruction 2 asks for A4 plain or ruled paper written on both sides with a margin, with all pages tied carefully course wise, and instruction 3 asks for the question number beside each answer. Key terms are underlined once, pages are numbered through, and each code travels as its own bundle with the thirteen-field cover sheet on top, deliberately blank. Matching The Hand Your Earlier Bundles Were Written In

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. One page written at your ordinary speed and photographed flat in daylight carries enough of the slant, the letter heights and the joins you make without thinking to sustain a whole course of answers.

The case for it on MACSR is arithmetic rather than sentiment. A registration can run four years against a two-year minimum, the programme is examined year wise so Year One and Year Two go in a full year apart by design, and a learner who came in laterally from PGDCSR has diploma bundles already sitting in a study centre file under the same enrolment number. That is a long stretch for a hand to stay consistent by accident. The photograph is used for the order it belongs to and discarded with it.

Two Free MACSR Utilities That Need No Order

Both utilities run inside the tab you opened them in, send nothing anywhere and keep nothing after you close the page. The first exists because eighteen taught codes at up to four thousand words apiece is a figure worth seeing before you plan a month around it. The second exists because on this programme the useful question is not what a code is called but which of the three mark patterns it follows and whether a paper exists for it at all.

Where The MACSR Paper Sits, And Why It May Say PGDCSR

IGNOU charges nothing for its question papers and IGNOU is where yours should come from, whoever ends up filling the sheets. On this programme the download needs one extra moment of attention, because the correct paper for a first-year learner is published in two places under two names and because the newest block on the index is older than the current session.

1. Start at the university’s own download service. Open the IGNOU assignment download service and search by programme code or course code from there. Do not type a file address from memory, because the MACSR files use long descriptive names that differ block by block.
2. Open the MACSR block on the master’s degree index. The programme index is laid out newest first and lists four session blocks in total. Read the heading on the block before you download anything: a MACSR paper belongs to the sessions its cover names, and a beautifully handwritten bundle answering the wrong block’s questions is still the wrong bundle.
3. Check the diploma index as well if you are in Year One. The Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility publishes the identical first-year paper under postgraduate diploma programmes. If the master’s block for your session is missing a file, the diploma block may hold the same questions. What it will not give you is the programme code for your cover sheet.
4. Read the session line and instruction 5 together. The cover tells you which sessions the file serves and instruction 5 tells you when the pages must reach a counter. They answer different questions, and on a programme whose newest published block is July 2024 and January 2025, the first one deserves a confirmation call to your Regional Centre before you start writing.

What Happens To A MACSR Mark After The Counter Stamps It

The counter is a checkpoint rather than a finish line. Get the receipt stamped and keep it, and photograph every page before the bundle leaves your hands, because a set that goes missing between a study centre and the evaluation division is only recoverable by someone who kept a copy.

From there the number moves in three stages. The study centre records receipt, the counsellor’s award travels to the Student Evaluation Division, and only then does a figure attach itself to the course code. A MACSR course showing as incomplete has one cause peculiar to this degree. A first-year code can be attached to the Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility rather than to the master’s, because the seven courses are shared and a lateral-entry record can be registered either way. That is an administrative attachment rather than a lost mark, and a Regional Centre can resolve it with your enrolment number. An assignment order is rarely the only line in a message from a CSR learner, because the eight-credit project sits in the same year as the taught papers and the examination sits at the end of both years.

• The seventy per cent an assignment cannot reach. • MEDSP-051, which is a different order entirely. Five lines are worth sending in that first message:

• Course codes. Copied from your registration confirmation rather than recalled, with whatever padding it prints.
• Year One or Year Two. MACSR is examined year wise, and the year decides which block of the booklet your paper sits in.
• Whether you took MEDSE-046 or MEDSP-051. The first is a paper to write and the second is a project with no paper at all, so this single line changes a first-year order by one subject.
• The sessions printed on your booklet cover. That settles which questions are being answered, which matters more here than on programmes whose papers are refreshed every cycle.
• Pin code, plus a handwriting sample if you want one. A photograph of anything you have written is enough, and matching costs nothing.
