Quick answer. For BAFEC, the Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Major that IGNOU’s School of Social Sciences has run under the four-year undergraduate framework since January 2024, a handwritten assignment is the 100-mark Tutor Marked Assignment of each Economics paper answered in ink, graphs and calculations included, and handed to the Study Centre as a hard copy; the Major holds ten 6-credit papers, BECC-101, BECC-103, BECC-107, BECC-110, BECC-115, BECC-116, BECC-117 and BECC-118 plus BECE-141 and BECE-144, and ignouproject.com writes that set one code at a time at ₹320 per subject with courier included, in the English or Hindi medium IGNOU issues, for the current cycle or an older one, copying the learner’s handwriting from a photo at no extra charge. Each assignment decides 30 per cent of its course result. Most BAFEC booklets set 30 September 2026 as the cut-off for the January 2026 cycle, the BECC-118 booklet prints 31 October 2026 for the December 2026 examination, and orders are placed on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830.

BAFEC Cut-Off Dates: 30 September 2026 for Most Papers, 31 October 2026 for BECC-118

30 September 2026 is the last date for a BAFEC learner in the January 2026 cycle on the BECC-101, BECC-103, BECC-116 and BECC-117 booklets. BECC-118 alone runs to 31 October 2026.

BECC-118 Indian Economy

31 October 2026

The BAFEC/BAM booklet dates by examination: 30 April 2026 for June, 31 October 2026 for December.

The BECC-101, BECC-103 and BECC-116 booklets for July 2025 and January 2026 give a BAFEC learner admitted in July 2025 until 31 March 2026, and one admitted in January 2026 until 30 September 2026, for submission to the Coordinator of the Study Centre. Those three School of Social Sciences booklets tie the date to the admission cycle. The BECC-117 booklet, dated 2026, prints only 30 September 2026 and ties it to the December 2026 term-end examination instead. For a January 2026 learner both readings land on the same day. Confirm it on ignou.ac.in and with the Study Centre, since dates shift by session and by Regional Centre.

BECC-118, Indian Economy, is the one BAFEC paper on a different calendar. Its 2025-26 booklet, shared by BAFEC and BAM, sets 30 April 2026 for learners appearing in the June 2026 term-end examination and 31 October 2026 for those appearing in December 2026, an examination-linked pattern rather than an admission-cycle one. The BAM handwritten page on this site reports that pair as the School of Social Sciences norm; applied to BECC-101, BECC-103 or BECC-116, it would put a BAFEC learner a month late. A record that holds BECC-118 alongside other BECC codes is safest planned to 30 September 2026 for the whole bundle.

No BAFEC booklet dated July 2026 had surfaced on ignou.ac.in by 28 September 2026. If the 2025-26 pattern repeats, a July 2026 learner would be looking at 31 March 2027. Nothing printed says so yet. Extension notices, when IGNOU issues them, arrive separately and late, and none covering the December 2026 examination had been found when this page was checked.

What Rides on a BAFEC Assignment Beyond Its 30 Per Cent Weight

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The BECC-101, BECC-103, BECC-115 and BECC-116 booklets add the harder rule: all assignments must be submitted within the stipulated time for a learner to be eligible for that course’s term-end examination. Ten Major papers therefore mean ten separate eligibility conditions for a BAFEC learner, one per BECC or BECE code, each tied to the date on its own booklet.

Numerical questions in BAFEC assignments carry no word limit. The BECC-101, BECC-103, BECC-115 and BECC-116 booklets each say that the word limit does not apply to numerical questions, and BECC-101 extends the waiver to the application part of a question. Those same booklets lean hard on calculation: BECC-103 asks for equilibrium output from C = 25 + 0.6Y with I = 30 and G = 25, BECC-115 for the deadweight loss of a monopolist facing P(Q) = 20 – 2Q, and BECC-101 for output, profit and producer surplus from TC(q) = 450 + 15q + 2q². In practice, a BAFEC answer to a numerical is as long as its working, and only the steps written on the page can be read by the evaluator.

Prose is the easier part to size. At the printed bands, a standard BAFEC booklet comes to about 2,250 words: two answers near 500 words, three near 250 and five near 100. BECC-117 is built differently. Its last 30 marks are two questions of three 5-mark parts each, six short pieces instead of five, which lifts the total to roughly 2,350 words before a single graph is drawn.

Model-Answer File or Hand-Inked BECC Pages: What a BAFEC Study Centre Accepts

The Study Centre accepts the hand-inked BECC pages. A model-answer file is study material that a BAFEC learner reads and never submits.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, for example BECC-116 for the July 2025 and January 2026 cycles. A BAFEC learner opens a solved assignment to see how an IS-LM derivation or a Cobb-Douglas problem is laid out, and then writes the real answers. As a PDF or a printout, a solved assignment carries no enrolment number, no signature and none of the learner’s handwriting, so nothing in it can be handed in as a BAFEC submission.

A handwritten assignment is the same BECC or BECE questions answered in ink on paper, graphs drawn by hand, and submitted as a hard copy at the Study Centre against a receipt. The BAFEC booklets ask for a final version written out neatly, with the points to be emphasised underlined, and they tell the learner to obtain and keep the Study Centre’s receipt; BECC-101 and BECC-115 also ask for a photocopy to be kept. That hard copy, and not a file, is what a BAFEC Study Centre logs and sends on for evaluation.

A printed solved file cannot stand in for it. The July 2026 Common Prospectus permits typed assignments only to students with a valid disability certificate, and the exception, together with the separate rule for project reports, is set out in the note on when IGNOU work may be typed.

Learners after the reference file rather than the written set will find it among the BECC and BECE reference files on the solved assignments page. Everything below concerns the pages that get submitted.

Twelve points every BAFEC set is written to, each drawn from an Economics booklet or from the house terms.

The BAFEC code, not its BAECH twin. A list showing BECC-105 or BECC-112 is checked against section 5.6 of the prospectus, and BECC-115 or BECC-117 is what gets written when the record says BAFEC.

Graphs drawn by hand. BECC-103 asks for a diagram of the three-sector circular flow and BECC-101 for diagrams of the price effect, so the curves go on the page in pencil with labelled axes.

Working shown line by line. From C = 25 + 0.6Y to the equilibrium figure, each step is written out, because the booklets lift the word limit on numericals precisely so that method can be shown.

Word bands for the theory. Twenty-mark answers stay near 500 words, ten-mark answers near 250 and six-mark answers near 100.

BECC-117’s own Section C. Two questions of three 5-mark parts, one set of distinctions and one of short notes, are answered as six pieces rather than five.

Misnumbered questions kept in order. BECC-116 prints two question 1s and two question 5s, so answers follow the printed sequence and quote each question’s opening words.

BECC-101’s doubled block flagged. The 2025-26 booklet prints short questions 6 to 10 twice; the set answers the first block, which fits the 5 × 6 marks line, and you are told about the second.

Dates from your own code’s booklet. A bundle that includes BECC-118 is still planned to 30 September when the rest of the record is due then.

Printed strings copied, course codes kept true. BECC-118’s booklet prints a BECC-111 assignment string; it is copied as printed while the course-code field reads BECC-118.

Hindi where IGNOU has issued Hindi. BECC-101 sits on IGNOU’s four-year index in both mediums; other codes follow whatever file the ignou.ac.in search returns.

Non-Economics papers on equal terms. BEVAE-181, BECS-184 Data Analysis, a skill course or a minor from another discipline is priced exactly like a BECC paper.

Your name on the declaration, added by you. The set arrives ready apart from the signature, which belongs on the page only after every answer has been read.

The Ten BAFEC Major Codes, Three of Which Exist Nowhere Else in IGNOU’s Prospectus

The BAFEC Major is ten Economics courses of 6 credits each, 60 credits in all, inside a 120-credit Major degree that becomes a 160-credit Honours degree after a fourth year. Section 5.6 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists eight BECC codes and two BECE codes, and ten times six matches the 60 credits the prospectus fixes for Discipline Specific Courses. Three of the ten, BECC-115, BECC-116 and BECC-117, appear nowhere else in the prospectus. Before any assignment is written, the course codes on a BAFEC learner’s Samarth record are matched against this list.

Swipe sideways on a phone for the last two columns. Codes are in prospectus order, which puts BECC-118 before BECC-117.

The prospectus attaches no semester to any BAFEC code. Its template places one Major course in each of the first two semesters and two in each of semesters 3 to 6, so which BECC paper falls in which semester is read from the learner’s own registration record, not guessed from a BA Honours timetable.

The BA Honours twins are where the wrong booklet gets downloaded. BAECH teaches intermediate microeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, Indian economy and development economics as two courses each, while BAFEC packs each subject into one code.

The overlap shows up in the questions as well. The BAFEC booklet for BECC-116 and the BAECH booklet for BECC-106, both for July 2025 and January 2026, each ask the learner to explain adaptive expectations and their limitations. Compare two files by one question and they can pass for each other. The course code on the cover decides.

The minor rule narrows things further. Section 5 of the prospectus requires discipline-specific minors to come from outside the Major, so BECM 161 Principles of Microeconomics, BECM 162 Principles of Macroeconomics and BECM 163 Introductory Statistics are closed to a BAFEC learner. BECS 184 Data Analysis is a vocational course rather than a minor, and it stays open.

The six BAFEC Economics booklets read for this page, BECC-101, 103, 115, 116, 117 and 118, print their assignment codes in five different forms. BECC-101 prints BECC-101/2025-26; BECC-103 and BECC-116 print ASST/BECC 103/ 2025-26 and ASST/BECC 116/ 2025-26; the January 2025 BECC-115 file prints Asst /TMA /2024-25 with no course number at all; BECC-118 prints BECC-111/AST/TMA/2025-26; and BECC-117 prints BECE-141/AST/TMA/2026. Two of those strings name a course the booklet is not about. A BAFEC learner copies the assignment code exactly as printed, writes the true course code, such as BECC-118, in the course-code field, and asks the Study Centre whether it wants the mismatch noted.

Where IGNOU’s BAFEC documents disagree, including on this site

  1. Two calendars in one Major. BECC-101, BECC-103 and BECC-116 date by admission cycle (31 March 2026 and 30 September 2026); BECC-118 dates by examination (30 April 2026 and 31 October 2026); BECC-117 prints a single date, 30 September 2026, for the December 2026 examination.
  2. Another course’s code on the paper. BECC-118 prints the assignment code BECC-111/AST/TMA/2025-26. BECC-117 prints “Course Code: BECE-117” and the assignment code BECE-141/AST/TMA/2026.
  3. Programme labels. The 2025-26 BECC-101 and BECC-103 covers name only BAECH. The BECC-117 cover reads B.A. Honours (FYUP) and calls the course an elective, although section 5.6 lists it as a Major course, and it titles the paper Development Economics-I. The BECC-115 cover prints “MAJORES ECONOMICS”.
  4. Cycles inside the same booklet. BECC-103 prints “January 2025 cycle” beside a 30.09.2026 date under a July 2025 and January 2026 cover. The BECC-115 file is headed January 2025 admission cycle, schedules learners admitted in January 2024, and prints an assignment code for 2024-25.
  5. Question printing. BECC-116 numbers its questions 1, 1, 3, 5, 5. BECC-101 prints short questions 6 to 10 twice under a 5 × 6 = 30 marks heading.
  6. The official index. IGNOU’s webservices page for four-year programmes, July 2025 to January 2026, lists a single file under Economics (BAFEC)/(BAM), BECC-101, and it is the BAECH-labelled booklet.
  7. The prospectus layout. In the BA (Honours) core course list, BECC 105 to BECC 114 are printed under a Psychology heading.
  8. On this website, pending correction. The BAFHI page states that the School of Social Sciences ties every date to the admission cycle, which BECC-118 and BECC-117 contradict; the BAM page gives 30 April and 31 October as the school’s pattern, which holds for BECC-118 only. The home page’s acceptance assurance with a refund, and the seven-day dispatch promises on the MMPC-001 and BCOC-134 pages, are also queued for correction. This page makes none of those promises.

Where two IGNOU documents conflict, the booklet for your own code and your Study Centre’s written answer outrank this page.

From Samarth Record to Couriered Bundle: Five Stages of a BAFEC Set

Five stages turn the codes on a BAFEC record into finished Economics bundles, and only the first and the last involve you.

  1. Codes sorted against section 5.6. A BECC-105 or BECC-112 copied from a BAECH friend’s list is queried, and BECC-115 or BECC-117 is confirmed before any paper is touched.
  2. The cycle’s booklet fetched from ignou.ac.in. Questions, date and assignment string all come from the booklet serving the cycle on the record, whether that is the July 2025 and January 2026 file or an older January 2025 one.
  3. Numericals solved on rough sheets first. Equilibrium values, elasticities and deadweight losses are worked and checked before the fair copy begins, so the handwritten page carries clean steps rather than crossings-out.
  4. Fair copy in the matched hand, graphs on the page. Theory answers follow the 500, 250 and 100-word bands. Curves such as IS and LM, isoquants or a production possibility frontier are drawn in pencil with labelled axes, beside the answer that needs them.
  5. Couriered to you to read and sign. The fields shown in the IGNOU assignment cover page guide are filled except the signature; you read every answer, sign, and hand the bundle in as the study-centre submission walkthrough describes.

A Page of Your Writing, Numbers Included

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The useful photo is a full page of ordinary prose in your usual pen. If an equation or a short column of figures fits on the same page, include it, because Economics answers are full of numerals and symbols, and the way you form a 7, a delta or a subscript shows on every numerical page.

It matters for a plain reason. Ten Major bundles go in over three years, usually at one Study Centre, and pages that share one hand from BECC-101 to BECC-117 read as one learner’s work. The price stays the same.

Writing the BECC set yourself? That remains the better route whenever the hours exist. The handwritten assignment method, step by step sets out the sequence; the front page format with blank and filled PDFs supplies page one; a completed sample assignment shows spacing and numbering; the explainer on assignment format and structure covers the introductions and conclusions the BECC booklets single out; and the guide to online and offline submission covers handover day.

Start My Handwritten BECC Order

IGNOU’s Current Assignments search on ignou.ac.in is where BAFEC booklets are found, searched by course code. The older webservices index lists only BECC-101 under Economics (BAFEC).

  1. Open IGNOU’s Current Assignments page and type the course code, such as BECC-116, rather than the programme name.
  2. Pick the School of Social Sciences file for your cycle. Filenames such as BECC-118_2025-26_English carry the session in the name.
  3. Read the cover and the last-date paragraph before the questions. A BECC-101 or BECC-103 cover may say BAECH, and the BECC-118 cover says BAFEC/BAM.
  4. Match the cycle on the cover to the cycle on your record; the January 2025 BECC-115 file is not the current one.

The four-year programme index for July 2025 to January 2026 on webservices.ignou.ac.in has an Economics (BAFEC)/(BAM) column holding one entry: BECC-101, in English and Hindi. The other nine Major papers are reachable only through the ignou.ac.in search, which is why learners on forums report that a subject cannot be found at all. A booklet still missing close to a cut-off is raised through iGRAM, IGNOU’s grievance portal. The study blocks themselves come free through eGyanKosh, the alternative Gyankosh route and the official IGNOU books download page.

After Submission: Receipt, Status, Marks and the BAFEC Grade Card

The Study Centre receipt is the first record of a BAFEC submission; the status, the marks and the grade card follow in that order. The BECC-101 and BECC-115 booklets tell the Study Centre to return evaluated assignments and to send the marks to the Student Evaluation Division in New Delhi, so a gap of several weeks is normal.

Receipt of a BECC code shows first through the IGNOU assignment status and result checker, which needs the enrolment number exactly as IGNOU issued it. Marks appear later: the assignment marks lookup explains the entries, the assignment column of the grade card is where the 30 per cent is recorded, and the grade card status page gives the whole-programme view until the final grade card lists every BECC and BECE code together.

Two converters help once grades appear: a grade-to-percentage calculator and a CGPA calculator for IGNOU semesters. The December 2026 exam date sheet shows when each BECC paper sits in the examination window.

Study Help BAFEC Learners Pair With a Handwritten Order

A learner handing over the assignment usually still faces the 70 per cent paper, and the site keeps separate help for it. Practice comes from IGNOU guess papers for the next term-end examination, solved previous question papers and the last year paper for each course, which is the quickest way to see how often a numerical from BECC-101 or BECC-103 returns. Revision reading sits with condensed IGNOU study notes, publisher help books and guide books ordered online.

Shared codes connect BAFEC to other pages here. BECC-118 is also a BAM paper, covered on the BAM handwritten assignment page, and BECC-101 sits on B.Com records, as the BCOMF handwritten page shows. The BAFHI page for the History Major covers a sister programme from the same school, and learners heading for a master’s degree will find the MA Economics handwritten page.

The fourth-year Project or Dissertation worth 12 credits is research work rather than an assignment, handled on the IGNOU project reports page, with proposal drafting on the synopsis and proposal page and fees listed under charges for non-assignment services.

Three programme codes get confused here. BAFEC is the four-year Economics Major; BAECH is the 148-credit BA (Honours) Economics that shares six of BAFEC’s ten codes; and Economics taken as one discipline in BAM or in the older BA general programme (BAG) runs on its own code list.

Medium, older cycles and backlog papers.

BAFEC is taught in English and Hindi under the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and IGNOU’s four-year assignment index for July 2025 to January 2026 posts BECC-101 in both mediums. Hindi files for the other nine BAFEC Major codes could not be confirmed on ignou.ac.in for this page. A Hindi-medium BAFEC learner therefore searches the course code on ignou.ac.in before ordering, and the set follows whichever medium IGNOU has issued for that code.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. Devanagari presentation is covered on the Hindi-medium assignment page.

A BAFEC learner taking up a previous year’s course writes a fresh assignment for it: the BAFEC Programme Guide tells such learners to download fresh assignments from the IGNOU website, submit them to the announced schedule and then sit the term-end examination. The BECC-115 file shows why the cycle matters, since its January 2025 booklet carries a 30 September 2025 date that has already passed. Re-registration comes first, and a learner whose enrolment has lapsed looks at readmission before ordering any backlog paper.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. The steps are on the re-registration form walkthrough and the readmission guide.

How to Order: The Three Messages and Five Facts a BAFEC Quote Needs

Three WhatsApp messages to +91 93546 37830 place a BAFEC order.

  1. Send the codes exactly as your record prints them, with the admission cycle.
  2. Add a photo of your handwriting and the delivery pin code, and say whether BECC-118 is among the codes.
  3. Confirm the quote and pay. The bundle is couriered to the address you gave.

The five facts that shape a quote:

  • No soft copy or PDF is sold. A Regional Centre that wants an upload gets a scan you make of the delivered hard copy.
  • Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
  • Every code counts, BECC, BECE, BEVAE, BECS or a minor from another school, at the same per-paper rate.
  • The cycle on your record picks the booklet. A January 2025 or older paper is written from that cycle’s questions.
  • The signature and declaration stay blank until you have read the set yourself.

Evidence Trail: Which BAFEC Facts Came From Which Document

From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: the ten BAFEC Major codes, titles and credits in section 5.6; the four-year structure template and the 60, 120 and 160 credit figures; the rule that minors come from outside the Major; the BECM and BECS lists; English and Hindi as the medium; the typed-assignment exception for students with disabilities; and the BA (Honours) Economics tables in section 7 used for the twin-code comparison. A guide to the document is on the IGNOU prospectus page.

From IGNOU’s booklets, read on 28 September 2026: BECC-101 (2025-26, from the webservices four-year index), BECC-103, BECC-116 and BECC-118 (2025-26), BECC-117 (2026) and BECC-115 (January 2025 cycle), all School of Social Sciences files. Dates, marks, word bands, the numerical waiver, assignment strings and cover labels come from these six. Covers for BECC-106, 107, 109, 110 and 112 were seen only as search listings.

The publisher’s commercial terms: the price, hard copy only, courier inside the price, all mediums, any session, handwriting matching at no charge, no minimum order and no promised delivery time. These are ignouproject.com’s terms, not IGNOU’s.

What the research could not settle. The BECC-107, BECC-110, BECE-141 and BECE-144 booklets were not read, so their dates are not stated. No 2025-26 BECC-115 file was found on ignou.ac.in, and no BAFEC booklet dated July 2026 had appeared. The BAFEC Programme Guide on eGyanKosh could not be opened in full, so its instruction on previous-year courses is quoted from the indexed text. The prospectus gives no semester for any BAFEC code, and Hindi files beyond BECC-101 were not confirmed.
