Your BAFPS Papers Are BPSC Codes, Not the BPSM Files IGNOU’s Index Shows

Quick answer. A handwritten assignment means the Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) answers for one course, inked on paper and handed in as a hard copy at the Study Centre, and for BAFPS, the Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) Major that section 5.8 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus builds from ten 6-credit BPSC codes (BPSC-101 to BPSC-105, BPSC-107, BPSC-109 and BPSC-111 to BPSC-113) inside a 120-credit degree run by the School of Social Sciences, ignouproject.com writes each BPSC paper by hand at ₹320 per subject with courier included, in the English or Hindi medium IGNOU issued, for the current cycle or an older backlog one, matched free of charge to a photo of your own handwriting; each BPSC assignment decides 30 per cent of that course’s result, the 2025-26 BPSC booklets print 31 March 2026 and 30 September 2026 as the two cut-offs, and codes are sent on WhatsApp to +91 93546 37830.

BAFPS Cut-Off Dates on the BPSC Booklets: 31 March and 30 September

30 September 2026 is the printed last date for a BAFPS learner admitted in the January 2026 cycle; the July 2025 cycle closed on 31 March 2026.

January 2026 admission cycle

30 September 2026

Printed on the BPSC-101, BPSC-109 and BPSC-112 booklets for July 2025 and January 2026.

July 2026 admission cycle

31 March 2027, expected

The 2025-26 pattern carried forward. No 2026-27 BPSC booklet was on ignou.ac.in when this page was checked.

The BAFPS assignment cut-off depends on the admission cycle, not on the course code: the 2025-26 BPSC booklets for BPSC-101, BPSC-109 and BPSC-112 give a July 2025 learner until 31 March 2026 and a January 2026 learner until 30 September 2026. All three booklets send the finished work to the Coordinator of the Study Centre allotted to the learner, and all three were issued by the Faculty of Political Science of the School of Social Sciences. The cycle printed on the admission or re-registration record is therefore the first thing to read, before any question paper. Dates shift by session and by Regional Centre, so the current one is confirmed on ignou.ac.in.

Several listing and news sites published between 24 and 30 September 2026 report that IGNOU has moved the December 2026 cut-off to 31 October 2026. No IGNOU notification saying so could be located for this page. Until one appears on ignou.ac.in, the date on the BPSC booklet in your hand is the one to plan against, and the site’s round-up of IGNOU assignment dates for 2026 tracks notices as they arrive.

The calendar has also moved between years. The 2024-25 BPSC-104 booklet gave January 2025 learners until 31 October 2025, a month later than the 2025-26 booklets allow. A learner answering an older booklet reads the date printed on that booklet, not the one on a friend’s newer copy.

Thirty Marks and an Exam Seat: What Each BPSC Assignment Decides

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.

A missing BPSC assignment costs more than 30 marks: the 2025-26 BPSC-101, BPSC-109 and BPSC-112 booklets make submission within the stipulated time a condition for being eligible to appear in that course’s term-end examination. Each of those booklets states the same rule in its opening letter from the Faculty of Political Science. Ten Major papers therefore mean ten separate eligibility gates for a BAFPS learner, one per BPSC code. A paper left unsubmitted in the January 2026 cycle keeps that course out of the December 2026 examination.

Every BPSC assignment for 2025-26 is one 100-mark paper in three parts: two Descriptive Category Questions of 20 marks at about 500 words, three Middle Category Questions of 10 marks at about 250 words, and five Short Category Questions of 6 marks at about 100 words. The BPSC-101, BPSC-109 and BPSC-112 booklets print that pattern identically. On these booklets “MCQ” stands for Middle Category Questions, not multiple choice, so the second part is written as short analytical prose. Written to the printed bands, one BPSC paper comes to roughly 2,250 words.

BPSC-109 adds a line of its own. Above the three parts it says that all questions carry equal weightage. They do not: the same page prints 2 × 20, 3 × 10 and 5 × 6. The marks printed beside each question are the ones that match the 100 total.

Printed Solved File or Ink-Written BPSC Pages: What a BAFPS Learner Hands In

The ink-written pages are what a BAFPS learner hands in. A solved file is reading material.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, such as BPSC-109 for the July 2025 and January 2026 cycles. A BAFPS learner reads a solved assignment to see how a 20-mark comparative politics answer is structured, then writes the actual answers. Nothing in that file identifies the learner: there is no enrolment number on it, no signed declaration, and not a line in the learner’s own hand. On its own, it is not a submission.

A handwritten assignment is the same BPSC questions answered in ink on paper, one course code per bundle, with the cover filled in and signed, and handed to the Study Centre Coordinator against a receipt. The BPSC booklets ask learners to write the answers “in your own words” and to stay within the printed word range. Section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus allows typed assignments only for students holding a valid disability certificate. The practical consequence is simple: a printout of any file, however accurate, is not the paper IGNOU collects from a BAFPS learner.

On a phone, drag the table left to see the third column.

Anyone who came for the reference file will find it in the BPSC reference files among the IGNOU solved assignments. What follows concerns the paper that is submitted.

What differs when the set is a BAFPS set, point by point:

BPSC on the record, not BPSM on the index. A code list showing BPSM-161 or BPSM-162 against a Political Science Major is queried before a line is written, because section 5 keeps same-discipline minors off a Major’s record.

Middle Category answers as prose. The MCQ heading means three 10-mark answers of about 250 words. Nothing is ticked.

Essays with a real opening. The two 20-mark answers get the introduction and conclusion the BPSC booklets ask for by name.

This cycle’s questions only. BPSC-109 for July 2025 and January 2026 asks about decentralisation in Brazil, India and Britain; an older booklet asks other things, and the set follows your booklet.

Hindi numbering left as printed. The Hindi BPSC-109 booklet counts its questions 1 to 10 in one run, and a Hindi set keeps that count.

Bracketed English terms kept. Where a Hindi question prints a term such as structural-functionalism in brackets, the Hindi answer uses it too.

Articles and thinkers named. BPSC-102 answers cite constitutional articles where the question turns on them; BPSC-101 answers engage Ralph Miliband when the question does.

Each BPSC code bundled apart. BPSC-104 and BPSC-105 are tied separately, so the Study Centre can log and return each one.

Non-Major papers at the same rate. BEVAE-181, BEGAE-182 or BHDAE-182, a skill course such as BPAS-186, or a minor from another discipline is written on identical terms.

Assignment string copied exactly. The code line reads as the booklet prints it, BPSC-109/ASST/TMA/2025-26, ASST segment included.

Signature space kept for you. Every cover field arrives filled except the declaration, which you sign after reading.

Four papers, ₹1,280, postage inside. The arithmetic is plain multiplication, whatever the pin code.

The BAFPS Major in Ten BPSC Codes, and the Four Numbers IGNOU Skips

The BAFPS Major is ten BPSC courses of 6 credits each, 60 credits in all, which section 5.8 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus places inside a 120-credit Major degree that becomes a 160-credit Honours degree after a fourth year. The remaining 60 credits come from six minor courses (24), two ability enhancement courses (8), one interdisciplinary course (6), four skill enhancement courses (16) and one value-added course (6). Together with the Major’s 60, those five figures reach the 120 the prospectus states, and the table below was used only after that sum held. Fourth-year courses have not yet been published.

Swipe sideways on a small screen for the last two columns.

BPSC-106, BPSC-108, BPSC-110 and BPSC-114 never appear in the BAFPS Major, although the numbering of section 5.8 jumps over them. Section 7.3 of the same July 2026 prospectus explains the gap: BA (Honours) Political Science (BAPSH) fills its third- and fourth-semester slots with BPAC-101 and BPAC-108 from Public Administration, and keeps BPSC-110 Global Politics and BPSC-114 Indian Political Thought-II as cores the BAFPS table leaves out. A BAFPS learner who finds a BPSC-110 or BPSC-114 booklet is holding a BAPSH paper. The code on the registration record, not the booklet a classmate forwarded, decides which papers are written.

BPSM-161, BPSM-162 and BPSM-163 are Political Science minors, and a BAFPS learner cannot take them. Section 5 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus requires discipline-specific minors to come from a discipline other than the Major, and lists BPSM 161 Introduction to Political Theory, BPSM 162 Indian Government and Politics and BPSM 163 Comparative Government and Politics under Political Science. The titles sit close to BPSC-101, BPSC-102 and BPSC-105, which is how the wrong booklet gets downloaded. Several reseller pages list BPSM-161 and BPSM-162 among BAFPS assignments; the prospectus does not.

Three codes name overlapping programmes. BAFPS is the four-year-framework BA Political Science Major; BAPSH is the older 148-credit BA (Honours) Political Science that shares its BPSC numbers; and political science inside BAM or the older BA general programme run by the School of Social Sciences uses BPSC-101, 102, 105 and 107 or the BPSC-131 series, covered on the BAM handwritten assignment page.

Semester placement is not settled by any document read for this page. The prospectus assigns no semester to a BAFPS code, and its template allows only one Major course in each of the first two semesters. IGNOU’s own BAFPS web page puts BPSC-102 in semester 1, BPSC-104 in semester 2 and BPSC-105 in semester 3. Read your semester off the registration record.

Nine places where IGNOU’s BAFPS documents disagree, one of them on this site

  1. IGNOU’s BAFPS programme page lists only four of the ten Major codes (BPSC-102, 104, 105 and 109). Beside them it lists BAG codes BPSC-132 and 133, BAPSH electives BPSE-143 and 145, the barred minor BPSM-163, and three BA Honours Psychology cores, BPCC-108, 109 and 110. Its Programme Coordinator field is blank.
  2. Section 5.8 of the prospectus carries no Programme Coordinator line, while section 5.9 for BAFPA, printed directly below, does.
  3. The Political Science (BAFPS)/(BAM) column on IGNOU’s four-year assignment index for July 2025, January 2026 and July 2026 holds no file. The only political science files on that page are BPSM-161 and BPSM-162.
  4. For the same 2025-26 session, the BPSC-101, 107 and 112 covers name BAPSH only, while BPSC-102, 105 and 109 name BAFPS and BAPSH.
  5. BPSC-109 says all questions carry equal weightage above marks of 20, 10 and 6, and its cover spells the course “Instituions”.
  6. The Hindi BPSC-109 booklet numbers its questions 1 to 10 continuously, the English one restarts in each part, and the Hindi file’s text layer is stored in a legacy font that copies as unreadable characters.
  7. Section 5 of the prospectus says the value-added course is offered only in the first semester, while its own programme template places VAC-1 in the second.
  8. The 2024-25 BPSC-104 booklet dated the January 2025 cycle to 31 October 2025; the 2025-26 booklets date the January 2026 cycle to 30 September 2026.
  9. On this website, pending correction: the BAM page gives 30 April and 31 October as the School of Social Sciences pattern, which the 2025-26 BPSC booklets contradict. The home page’s acceptance assurance with refund and the dispatch-within-days promises on two course pages are also queued for correction; this page makes none of those promises.

When sources clash, follow the booklet printed for your own code and whatever your Study Centre confirms in writing. This page ranks below both.

How a BPSC Handwritten Set Travels From Code Check to Courier

Five stages separate a WhatsApp message from a signed BPSC bundle, and you act only at the first and the last.

  1. Code list read against section 5.8. Each code you send is compared with the ten BPSC Major codes. A BPSM, BPSE or BPSC-13x code is raised with you before payment rather than written.
  2. The booklet for your cycle opened. Questions, assignment string and date all come from the BPSC booklet serving the cycle on your record, whether its cover says BAFPS or only BAPSH.
  3. Space planned before ink. The 20-mark answers are given the most sheets and each 6-mark answer is kept tight, so the paper reads in proportion to its marks.
  4. Fair copy in the matched hand. Blue or black ink on ruled A4, one BPSC code per bundle, with the fields shown in the IGNOU assignment cover page guide filled except the signature.
  5. Couriered, read, signed, submitted. You read every answer, sign, and hand the bundle over as the walkthrough of submitting at the Study Centre describes. The receipt stays with you.

Your Own Hand on Every BPSC Page

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

Political science answers are full of capital letters, years and article numbers. A photo that shows how you form a capital A, a 7 or a 1950 is worth more than a page of plain lowercase words. One ordinary page is enough.

Why does it matter? Over three years a BAFPS learner hands ten BPSC bundles to the same Study Centre, and a Coordinator who sees two unrelated scripts under one enrolment number is entitled to ask why. Matching keeps the record consistent. It changes nothing about the declaration you sign.

Writing the BPSC papers yourself is the better route whenever the hours exist. The free handwritten assignment method, school by school covers the sequence; the printable front page in blank and filled PDF handles page one; a completed IGNOU assignment sample shows spacing; the guide to introductions, headings and margins matches what the Descriptive Category questions expect; and the comparison of the offline and online submission routes explains what some Regional Centres permit.

Two Free BAFPS Checkers: Days Left and the Right Code

Both checkers run inside this page and send nothing anywhere. The first counts days to your BPSC cut-off and prices the papers; the second tells you whether a code belongs on a BAFPS record at all.

Downloading Official BPSC Booklets When the BAFPS Column Is Empty

IGNOU’s Current Assignments search on ignou.ac.in finds BPSC booklets by course code; the programme-wise index does not.

  1. Open the Current Assignments search on ignou.ac.in and type a course code such as BPSC-109, not the word BAFPS.
  2. Pick the English or Hindi file for your registered medium. Filenames such as BPSC-109(E)2025-26 and BPSC-109_H_2025-26 carry both the medium and the session.
  3. Read the cover and the schedule table on page two before the questions. A BAPSH-only cover still counts.
  4. Match the session printed on the booklet to the cycle on your record. A 2024-25 file is the wrong paper for a learner of the January 2026 cycle.

IGNOU’s four-year assignment index for July 2025, January 2026 and July 2026 lists no BPSC booklet under its Political Science (BAFPS)/(BAM) column. The four-year programme index on webservices.ignou.ac.in does carry BPSM-161 and BPSM-162 in its minor row, which is exactly the pair section 5 bars to a Political Science Major. A BAFPS learner who downloads from that index alone ends up with a minor’s paper. The ignou.ac.in course-code search, not the index, is where the BPSC Major booklets are reached.

The problem is old. Comments posted in September 2020 on a BAPSH listing page asked how to prepare BPSC-103 and BPSC-104 when neither paper had been uploaded. A booklet still missing close to a cut-off is reported through iGRAM, IGNOU’s grievance portal, with a screenshot of the empty search.

Once the BPSC Bundle Is Handed Over: Receipt, Status and Grade Card

The Study Centre receipt comes first, the online status second and the marks last. The BPSC booklets tell learners to insist on that receipt, keep a photocopy of the assignment, and ask the Study Centre to return the evaluated work after it sends the marks to the Student Evaluation Division in New Delhi.

Receipt of a BPSC code shows through the IGNOU assignment status and result checker, which needs the enrolment number as IGNOU issued it. The explainer on assignment marks entries decodes what appears, and the assignment column of the IGNOU grade card is where the 30 per cent lands.

Bachelor’s learners read their record through the BDP grade card lookup, and the notes on reading a bachelor’s grade card explain its columns. The whole-programme grade card status fills in over six semesters until the final grade card lists every BPSC code together. Two converters help once grades appear, a grade-to-percentage converter and an IGNOU CGPA calculator, and the December 2026 term-end date sheet shows when each BPSC paper is examined.

Other Help BAFPS Learners Request With a Handwritten Order

Most learners ordering the assignment still face the 70 per cent paper. The official blocks come free through the IGNOU books download page, eGyanKosh access guide or the older Gyankosh route. For quicker revision there are condensed IGNOU study notes, guide books ordered online and help books from the publisher. Exam practice draws on IGNOU guess papers ahead of the December term-end, solved term-end question papers and a course-wise archive of last year papers.

The fourth-year Project or Dissertation of 12 credits is research work, not an assignment, and is handled on the IGNOU project reports page, with proposals on the synopsis and proposal page and fees under charges for project and synopsis work.

Sister programmes of the same school have their own pages: the BAFHI page for the History Major and the BAFEC page for the Economics Major. BAFPS graduates moving on to a political science master’s will find the MAPS handwritten page for MA Political Science.

Medium, script and older cycles.

BAFPS is taught in English and Hindi under the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and IGNOU issues Hindi BPSC booklets beside the English ones, among them BPSC-104 and BPSC-109 for 2025-26. The Hindi BPSC-109 booklet numbers its ten questions 1 to 10 in one run and prints the English term in brackets beside many Hindi ones, such as Procedural Democracy and Civic Culture. Its text layer uses a legacy Devanagari font, so copying from the PDF produces Latin characters rather than Hindi. A Hindi-medium BAFPS learner reads the rendered page, answers in Hindi, and follows that booklet’s numbering.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For Devanagari layout, see the guide to writing IGNOU assignments in Hindi.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Each BPSC booklet names the cycles it serves, so a learner carrying an unfinished paper asks the Study Centre which booklet to answer, and re-registers first through the IGNOU re-registration form walkthrough or, where the enrolment has lapsed, the readmission process.

Ordering a BAFPS Set: What to Send and What the Rate Covers

Three WhatsApp messages to +91 93546 37830 place a BAFPS order.

  1. Send each code exactly as your registration record prints it, with the admission cycle.
  2. Add your medium, a photo of your handwriting and the delivery pin code.
  3. Confirm the total and pay. The bundle is couriered to the address you gave.

Five details decide the order:

  • The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.
  • No soft copy or PDF is sold. Where a Regional Centre wants an upload, you scan the delivered hard copy yourself.
  • There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  • Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
  • Querying a doubtful code costs nothing. A BPSM, BPSE or BPSC-110 on your list is raised before any money changes hands.

Where Each BAFPS Fact on This Page Came From

From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: the ten BAFPS Major codes, titles and credits in section 5.8; the four-year structure template, the 60, 120 and 160 credit figures and the value-added course wording in section 5; the BPSM minor list and the rule barring same-discipline minors; the BAPSH structure in section 7.3; English and Hindi as the medium; and the typed-assignment provision for students with disabilities in section 14.7. A plain guide to the document sits on the IGNOU prospectus page.

From IGNOU’s booklets and web pages, read on 30 September 2026: the BPSC-101, BPSC-109 and BPSC-112 English booklets and the BPSC-109 Hindi booklet for 2025-26, read in full; the covers of BPSC-102, 105 and 107 (English) and BPSC-104 (Hindi) for 2025-26 and of five 2024-25 BPSC booklets; the BAFPS programme page on ignou.ac.in; and the four-year assignment index on webservices.ignou.ac.in. Dates, marks, word bands, the assignment string and cover labels come from these.

The publisher’s commercial terms: the ₹320 rate, the hard-copy-only format with postage inside it, every medium and session, free handwriting matching, no minimum order, and the refusal to name a delivery time. Those terms belong to ignouproject.com; IGNOU sets none of them.

What this research could not settle. No 2026-27 BPSC booklet was found on ignou.ac.in, so the 31 March 2027 date is an expectation, not a printed fact. The English 2025-26 booklets for BPSC-103, 104, 111 and 113 were not read. None of the BPSC booklets read prints a cover-page field layout, and the BAFPS Programme Guide was not opened. Semester placement differs between the prospectus and IGNOU’s web page. The reported extension to 31 October 2026 could not be traced to an IGNOU notice.
