Fifty Marks in Answers, Fifty in Activities: Every BPVC Paper Starts With Part A in Ink

Each BSCFFSQM core booklet splits its 100 marks between five written answers and evidence of activities you carry out yourself, sets a School of Agriculture date of 30 March or 30 September, and asks for foolscap that the Programme Guide calls A4. ignouproject.com reads your booklet first, then writes the Part A answers by hand.

Quick answer. An IGNOU BSCFFSQM handwritten assignment is the Tutor Marked Assignment for one course of the Bachelor of Science (Food Safety and Quality Management), answered by hand and handed to the Learner Support Centre as a hard copy; the programme, run by the School of Agriculture in English only, has ten 6-credit core courses coded BPVC-101 to BPVC-110 inside a 120-credit three-year degree, and each BPVC booklet is one 100-mark assignment split into Part A, five 10-mark answers of about 500 words, and Part B, evidence for five activities; ignouproject.com writes the answers by hand at ₹320 per subject with courier included, for the current session or an older backlog one, matched free of charge to a photo of your handwriting; the assignment carries 30 per cent of six BPVC courses and 20 per cent of the four practical-linked ones, the booklets print 30 September for January-batch learners and 30 March for July-batch learners, and codes go to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830.

BPVC Cut-Offs: 30 September 2026 Printed, 31 October Reported, 30 March for July Batches

January 2026 learners: 30 September 2026 on the booklet, with a reported extension to 31 October 2026. July 2026 learners: 30 March 2027 is expected, but no booklet prints it yet.

Admitted January 2026

31 October 2026

Reported extension for the December 2026 examination. The BPVC booklets for July 2025 and January 2026 print 30 September 2026, and IGNOU’s own notice was not located.

Admitted July 2026

30 March 2027

Expected from the pattern on every BPVC booklet so far. No BPVC file for July 2026 or January 2027 was on ignou.ac.in when this page was checked.

30 September 2026 is the last date that IGNOU’s School of Agriculture prints for BSCFFSQM learners of the January 2026 session, on the BPVC-101, 102, 103, 105 and 106 booklets for July 2025 and January 2026. Those booklets tie it to the December 2026 term-end examination, and they give the July 2025 batch 30 March 2026 for June 2026. A CareerIndia report of 2 October 2026 says an IGNOU notice moved the December 2026 assignment cut-off to 31 October 2026 for distance and online programmes; that notice itself was not found while this page was prepared. A January 2026 BSCFFSQM learner who has not submitted should therefore treat 31 October 2026 as the outer limit, and ask the Learner Support Centre in writing whether it is accepting BPVC papers until then.

30 March is the July-batch date on every BPVC booklet located for this page: 30 March 2025 on the BPVC-101 file for July 2024 and January 2025, and 30 March 2026 on the five files for July 2025 and January 2026. The paired January-batch date is always 30 September. No BPVC booklet for the July 2026 and January 2027 sessions had been posted by 18 October 2026, so 30 March 2027 for July 2026 learners is a pattern, not a printed date. A July 2026 BSCFFSQM learner can plan to it, and should replace it with the printed date the day the new booklet appears.

Note the day. The MVP booklets used on this site’s MSCFSQM page, from the same school, print 31 March. The BPVC files print 30 March. One day, same school, different programme.

The booklets add a rule worth knowing before the date arrives: a learner who misses it attempts a fresh set from a later session rather than submitting the old one late. IGNOU dates also move by notice and by Regional Centre, and the site keeps a dated list of IGNOU assignment notices as they are issued.

Twenty or Thirty Per Cent: What a BPVC Assignment Is Worth

A BPVC assignment is worth 30 per cent of the course result for BPVC-101, 104, 106, 107, 109 and 110, and 20 per cent for BPVC-102, 103, 105 and 108, according to the BSCFFSQM Programme Guide 2026. Those four are integrated courses: their remaining marks are 50 per cent from the term-end theory paper and 30 per cent from a term-end practical held at the Learner Support Centre. The guide sets a 40 per cent minimum in every component, so a BSCFFSQM learner cannot pass BPVC-103 on a strong assignment and a weak practical.

For six BPVC courses and every minor, skill, ability and value-added course, the general rule holds. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.

Every BPVC booklet is a single 100-mark assignment in two parts that go in together. Part A has five compulsory questions of 10 marks each, answered in about 500 words apiece, so 50 marks and roughly 2,500 words. Part B lists eight activities from the course’s Activities Manual; the learner performs all eight and submits evidence, such as an activity notebook or charts, for any five, at 10 marks each. The BPVC-101 and 102 files point to a Block 5 manual, and BPVC-103, 105 and 106 to Block 6. Half of every BPVC assignment is therefore practical evidence, not essay writing.

Some Part B activities can only be done by the learner. BPVC-101 asks for the BMI of each family member against WHO standards and a one-day record of your own diet; BPVC-102 asks you to set curd and watch eggs change as they boil. That is why Part B is discussed separately on this page.

BPVC Reference File or Signed Foolscap: What the LSC Will Take

The Learner Support Centre takes handwritten sheets. Every BPVC booklet says typed assignments are not accepted, so a downloaded file only helps you prepare.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one IGNOU course code and one session, here a single BPVC code such as BPVC-105 in its July 2025 and January 2026 version. A BSCFFSQM learner reads one to see how a 10-mark answer on HACCP, GMP and GHP might be organised. It carries no enrolment number, no signature and no line in the learner’s writing, and it cannot supply Part B, because Part B is evidence of activities the learner performed. The July 2026 Common Prospectus, in section 14.7, lets only learners holding a valid disability certificate submit typed work.

A handwritten assignment is the same BPVC questions, for example the five Part A questions of BPVC-103, answered by hand, with the first page laid out as the booklet prescribes and the Part B evidence attached, and handed to the coordinator of the allotted Learner Support Centre or Programme Study Centre. The BPVC booklets ask for answers in the learner’s own words drawn from the course material, warn that copying from the study material earns zero marks, and say work copied from another learner is rejected. That bundle is what the centre evaluates and later returns with an assessment sheet of the evaluator’s comments.

Twelve Checks on a BSCFFSQM Set Before It Is Couriered

Part A at the booklet’s length. Five answers, each near 500 words, because each carries 10 marks and none is optional.

Part B named, not faked. Activities built on your own diet, family or local market stay yours. What the set includes for Part B is agreed before you pay.

Paper size asked. The booklets say foolscap; the 2026 Programme Guide says A4. Your centre’s answer decides the sheet.

A 3-inch margin. The BPVC instructions ask for it on the left, with at least four lines between answers and each question number written out.

First page in IGNOU’s layout. Enrolment number, name, address and date on the right; programme, course code and title, study centre code and place on the left.

No invented TMA code. BPVC booklets print the course code only, so nothing resembling a slash-separated TMA string is made up for the cover.

Integrated courses flagged. On BPVC-102, 103, 105 and 108 the assignment is 20 per cent, and the practical still has to be sat.

Look-alike codes queried. MVP codes belong to the M.Sc. and PG Diploma; BPVI codes to three SOA diplomas. Neither is a BPVC paper.

Vocational slots checked. Semesters 1, 2 and 6 each hold a vocational minor, taken from the list on page 165 of the prospectus.

Food terms as the blocks write them. HACCP, GMP, GHP, VACCP, TACCP and FSSAI appear in capitals, expanded once where the answer first uses them.

Diagrams where a question asks. BPVC-101 wants the human digestive system drawn and labelled, so the answer carries the sketch.

Ten BPVC Courses Across Six Semesters, and the Pool Pages the Prospectus Gets Wrong

A BSCFFSQM learner writes a BPVC assignment for each of ten 6-credit core courses, 60 credits in all, inside the 120-credit three-year degree that section 5.16 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus sets out. The other 60 credits come from six 4-credit minors (24), two ability enhancement courses (8), three skill enhancement courses and a sixth-semester internship or course (16), and one interdisciplinary and one value-added course of 6 credits each (12). Those figures sum to 120, every semester in the prospectus template sums to 20, and the ten BPVC codes sum to 60. The table below was trusted only after all three checks held.

Titles and credits from section 5.16 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, which separates the Roman numeral in the last two titles with a hyphen; semesters agree with the BSCFFSQM Programme Guide 2026 and with each booklet cover; assignment shares from the guide. The prospectus writes BPVC 101 and the booklets BPVC-101. They are the same course.

BSCFFSQM opened with the July 2024 session, per a Careers360 report of 9 July 2024. A learner admitted then reaches semester 5 in July 2026, which is a plausible reason no BPVC-107 to 110 booklet has surfaced yet, though IGNOU has not said so.

The rest of the degree comes from shared pools. The prospectus template gives one BPVC course to each of the first two semesters and two to each semester after that, and fills the remaining credits like this:

Where the non-BPVC courses sit in the BSCFFSQM semester template of the July 2026 Common Prospectus
SemesterCoreMinorOther slotsCredits
1BPVC-101Vocational, 4Skill course 4, interdisciplinary 620

5BPVC-107, 108Discipline minor, 4Skill course 420
6BPVC-109, 110Vocational, 4Internship or course 420

Slide the table to read the credit column. Exits after year one or two need a further 4-credit vocational course, per the same template.

The BSCFFSQM section of the July 2026 Common Prospectus sends learners to pages 159 to 161 for six course pools, and those pages hold the wrong list. Pages 159 to 161 belong to the B.Sc. Multidisciplinary (BSCM) section: they carry no vocational list and no discipline-minor list at all, their ability list adds a BSDAE-182 Sanskrit course, and their value-added list omits BNME-001. The Bachelor of Arts Major pool the BSCFFSQM text actually describes is on pages 164 to 167, with the five vocational courses on page 165. Because BSCFFSQM needs three vocational minors, in semesters 1, 2 and 6, a learner following the printed page number finds none of them.

The ten BPVC codes are not shared with any other IGNOU programme in the July 2026 prospectus. Two families look close: MVP and MVPL codes belong to the M.Sc. and PG Diploma in Food Safety and Quality Management, and BPVI codes to the Diplomas in Value Added Products from Fruits and Vegetables, Dairy Technology and Meat Technology.

Nine BSCFFSQM Disagreements, One of Them on This Website

  1. A page reference to another programme. Section 5.16 points to pages 159 to 161, which are the BSCM lists; the pools it describes sit on pages 164 to 167.
  2. Value-added timing. The prospectus rules for Bachelor’s Major programmes on page 164 say the value-added course is offered only in the first semester. The BSCFFSQM template places it in semester 2, and the BPVC-102 booklet for semester 2 lists it among that semester’s other courses.
  3. Foolscap or A4. Every BPVC booklet read asks for foolscap paper with a 3-inch left margin. The BSCFFSQM Programme Guide 2026 asks for A4 with a 4 cm left margin.
  4. Not every course is 30 per cent. The guide gives BPVC-102, 103, 105 and 108 a 20 per cent assignment, against the 30 per cent most IGNOU material repeats.
  5. Duration. The prospectus programme list gives 3 or 4 years minimum and 6 or 8 years maximum. IGNOU’s BSCFFSQM programme page gives 36 to 60 months.
  6. Exam pattern. The prospectus list calls the examination year wise, while the booklets are issued per semester; the Programme Guide speaks of June and December examinations in one place and of examinations conducted annually in another.
  7. File names and covers. The BPVC-105 and BPVC-106 files are named for 2026, yet their covers say July 2025 and January 2026, the same sessions as the files named Jul-25-Jan-26.
  8. A printed date against a reported one. The booklets print 30 September 2026 for the January 2026 batch; a CareerIndia report of 2 October 2026 gives 31 October 2026, and IGNOU’s notice was not located.
  9. On this website, pending correction. The site’s BSCFFSQM project guidance page describes a project as mandatory for completing the programme. The 120-credit structure in the July 2026 prospectus and the 2026 Programme Guide contain no project course, only a 4-credit internship or course in semester 6; that page is being reconciled. Two older claims elsewhere on the site, a refund-backed acceptance assurance on the home page and a dispatch-time promise on the MMPC-001 page, are also queued for correction; this page makes neither.

Where these documents clash, the booklet for your own code and session, and a written answer from your Learner Support Centre, outrank this page.

From BPVC Code to Couriered Part A: Five Stages

You are needed at the start and the end. The middle three stages happen without you.

  1. Codes placed and weighed. Each code is matched to its semester and to the 30 or 20 per cent share it carries. An MVP, BPVI or BSCM code on the list comes back to you as a question before any payment.
  2. The batch picks the booklet. A January 2026 learner’s BPVC-103 is written from the July 2025 and January 2026 file, and the first reply repeats both the printed 30 September and the reported 31 October dates so nothing is assumed.
  3. Part A drafted from the blocks. Each of the five answers is planned to about 500 words, with the diagram, table or worked figure a question asks for, and with terms as the course material uses them.
  4. The fair copy in your matched hand. The first page follows the cover page fields IGNOU asks for, with your enrolment number written the way IGNOU formats it, the 3-inch margin, and the paper size your centre confirmed. Only the signature is left blank.
  5. Courier, then your part. You read every answer, attach your Part B evidence, sign, and follow the steps for handing the set to your study centre. Keep the receipt.

Your Writing Sample, With Numbers, Units and a Labelled Sketch

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

Food science answers lean on figures. Temperatures, pH values, BMI arithmetic, chemical names with subscripts and arrows in a digestion flow all look personal in a hand, often more than ordinary words do. A sample page that includes some numbers, a unit or two and a small labelled drawing gives the writer what plain prose cannot.

Use your usual pen. Photograph the page flat, in daylight, and send it with the order.

Consistency matters here for a plain reason: the same centre sees every BPVC bundle under your enrolment number across six semesters, and one steady script across them is what a coordinator expects to see.

Two BSCFFSQM Calculators: Writing Load, Then Code Placement

The first counts rupees, days and Part A writing hours against your batch’s cut-off. The second places any code from your record: BPVC semester and weightage, a common-pool course, or a look-alike from another food programme. Both work inside this page and send nothing anywhere.

Locating a BPVC Booklet When the File Name and the Cover Disagree

Search by course code, then trust the cover over the file name, because the School of Agriculture names its BPVC files in two different ways and only the cover states the sessions a booklet serves.

  1. Open IGNOU’s search. Go to the assignment download page on ignou.ac.in and type the code, such as BPVC-103.
  2. Read the session line on the cover. Files called BPVC-101-Jul-25-Jan-26 and BPVC-105-2026 both cover July 2025 and January 2026. The cover line, not the name, says which batch the questions serve.
  3. Find the date table before the questions. It sits under the heading for the last date of submission at LSC or PSC, one column per session.
  4. Look for both parts. A BPVC booklet has Part A questions and a Part B activity list. A file without Part B is not a BPVC core assignment.

The booklets direct learners to download the vocational, skill, ability and value-added papers by their own codes, giving BCOS-185 and BEVAE-181 as examples. A booklet still missing close to the cut-off can be raised through IGNOU’s iGRAM grievance route, with a screenshot of the empty search. The BPVC blocks themselves, including the Activities Manuals, are free: download the BPVC study blocks, use eGyanKosh for School of Agriculture material, or try the Gyankosh route when the first is slow.

After the LSC Coordinator Signs for It: BPVC Status, Practicals and Grades

Submit to the coordinator, keep proof, then watch for the marks. The Programme Guide 2026 says the response sheets must never be sent to the Student Evaluation Division, and the booklets say the evaluated work comes back with an assessment sheet of the evaluator’s comments.

The integrated courses have one more step. BPVC-102, 103, 105 and 108 carry a term-end practical at the Learner Support Centre, and the guide requires 75 per cent attendance at practical counselling before it.

A blank status for a few weeks is normal. A blank status after a full cycle is the moment to produce the receipt.

The BPVC submission status on the assignment result page shows whether a code was received, and how a marks entry should be read is covered separately. The assignment component appears in the assignment grade column; Bachelor’s learners can use the bachelor’s grade card search with a guide to reading a BDP grade card line by line, while the grade card status for the whole programme fills in until the final grade card after semester 6 lists every BPVC code. For conversions there is a marks-to-percentage converter and a CGPA calculator for the B.Sc..

Exam Practice and Other Orders Food Safety Learners Add

The theory paper still decides 50 or 70 per cent of each BPVC course. The December 2026 date sheet gives each examination its day; for practice there are guess papers for December 2026, solved term-end question papers and previous BPVC question papers; for revision, condensed study notes, help books arranged by course code and printed guide books by post.

Project, synopsis and dissertation work is separate from assignments and lives on its own pages: IGNOU project report help, proposal and synopsis formats, charges for project and synopsis work, the BSCFFSQM project guidance page, and, for the M.Sc. and PG Diploma, the MVPP dissertation page and the MVPP-003 project page.

Neighbouring programmes have their own pages. The MSCFSQM handwritten page for MVP papers covers the M.Sc. that lists graduation in Food Safety and Quality Management among its entry routes. The full list of IGNOU agriculture courses places BSCFFSQM among the School of Agriculture’s other programmes. The four-year B.Sc. siblings are on the BSCFAN handwritten page, the BSCFBC handwritten page and the BSCFMT handwritten page, and the BSCM handwritten page is where the pool printed on pages 159 to 161 actually applies.

Medium, sessions and the codes around BSCFFSQM

BSCFFSQM is taught in English only. The July 2026 Common Prospectus, IGNOU’s programme page and the 2026 Programme Guide all say so, and every BPVC booklet located is in English. No Hindi BPVC paper was found, so a BSCFFSQM learner answers the English booklet, and the site’s guide to Hindi-medium presentation applies only to minors or pool courses taken in Hindi.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price.

Admissions run in January and July. A learner returning after a gap usually completes re-registration for the next semester first, or readmission once the validity lapses, and then answers the booklet that serves the session on the new slip, since a missed paper is replaced by a fresh set rather than submitted late.

On codes: BSCFFSQM is the programme code; BPVC is the prefix on its ten core courses; MVP belongs to MSCFSQM and PGDFSQM, and BPVI to the DVAPFV, DDT and DMT diplomas.

Ordering a BPVC Set: One Message With Codes, Batch and Pin Code

  1. Message +91 93546 37830. Include the five details below and a photo of your writing.
  2. Get one reply with the total and the scope. It multiplies ₹320 by your codes, says what Part B support is possible for those codes, and checks courier to your pin code. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  3. Pay, then receive the bundle. The set is couriered to your address. Reading, attaching Part B, signing and submitting stay with you.

The five details:

  • Every code as your record prints it, BPVC and pool courses alike.
  • Your admission batch, January or July, with the year.
  • The paper size your Learner Support Centre wants, foolscap or A4.
  • Which Part B activities you have already done.
  • A delivery address with the pin code.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. A centre that wants an upload gets a scan you make yourself from the delivered hard copy. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

This site also keeps a plain-language guide to the Common Prospectus.

From IGNOU’s own files, read on 18 October 2026: the BPVC-101, 102, 103, 105 and 106 booklets for July 2025 and January 2026 and the BPVC-101 booklet for July 2024 and January 2025, read in full; the BPVC-102 file for July 2024 and January 2025 seen in search results; the BSCFFSQM Programme Guide 2026; and IGNOU’s BSCFFSQM programme page. Dates, marks, word bands, paper rules, first-page fields, weightage and practical rules come from these.

Commercial terms set by ignouproject.com itself: one flat price per subject with postage absorbed, paper copies only, any session, script matching without a fee, orders of any size, and delivery estimated per pin code rather than promised. IGNOU has no part in setting them.

What this research could not settle. No BPVC-104 or BPVC-107 to 110 booklet was located, and no BPVC booklet for July 2026 or January 2027, which does not prove IGNOU has not issued them. IGNOU’s notice behind the reported 31 October 2026 extension was not found. The booklets do not say whether foolscap or A4 wins when they and the Programme Guide differ, the minor, vocational and skill codes a particular learner holds can only be read off that learner’s record, and fourth-year Honours details are not in the prospectus.

BSCFFSQM Assignment Questions, Most Frequent First

What is the last date to submit IGNOU BSCFFSQM assignments for the December 2026 exam?

30 September 2026 is the date printed on the BPVC booklets for January 2026 learners, and a CareerIndia report of 2 October 2026 says IGNOU extended the December 2026 cut-off to 31 October 2026. No. Every BPVC booklet says answers must be handwritten and typed assignments are not accepted, and section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus allows typed work only for students with a valid disability certificate.

What paper size and margin does a BPVC assignment need?

Foolscap paper with a 3-inch left margin, according to every BPVC booklet read, with at least four lines between answers. The BSCFFSQM Programme Guide 2026 says A4 with a 4 cm margin instead, so ask your Learner Support Centre which it wants.

Where do the enrolment number and other details go on the first page?

On the right: enrolment number, name, full address and the date of despatch. On the left: programme title, course code, course title, study centre code and place. The BPVC booklets ask learners to follow that layout strictly.

Which course codes does a BSCFFSQM learner write assignments for?

The ten core courses BPVC-101 to BPVC-110, one or two per semester, plus every minor, vocational, skill, ability, interdisciplinary and value-added course on the record, each with its own booklet. The admission record says which are due this session.

Is a BSCFFSQM solved assignment the same as a handwritten assignment?

No. A solved assignment is a reference file of model answers that a learner reads; a handwritten assignment is the BPVC paper answered by hand, with Part B evidence attached, signed and handed to the Learner Support Centre. Only the second is evaluated.

Can a printout of a BPVC solved PDF be submitted?

No. A printout is typed work carrying none of your handwriting, and the BPVC booklets refuse typed assignments outside the disability provision. Use the file to plan, then write Part A by hand.

Does a solved file or a handwritten set cover the Part B activities?

Not fully. Part B asks for evidence, such as an activity notebook or charts, of activities you performed, and some depend on your own diet, family measurements or a market visit. Say which activities you have done when ordering, and the support possible for the rest is confirmed before you pay.

Is the assignment 30 per cent of every BPVC course?

No. The 2026 Programme Guide gives 30 per cent for BPVC-101, 104, 106, 107, 109 and 110, and 20 per cent for BPVC-102, 103, 105 and 108, where a 30 per cent term-end practical and a 50 per cent theory paper make up the rest.

What assignment code goes on a BPVC cover?

The course code, such as BPVC-105. None of the BPVC booklets read prints a separate TMA code string, so copy exactly what your booklet prints and ask the centre if it expects anything more.

How much does an IGNOU BSCFFSQM handwritten assignment cost?

₹320 per subject, with courier included and no separate shipping charge. Three BPVC papers cost ₹960 and all ten cost ₹3,200, at the same rate for older sessions.

How long does a BSCFFSQM set take to arrive?

That depends on your pin code, so no figure is given here. The estimate for your address is confirmed before you pay, and with 31 October 2026 reported as the December cut-off, it is worth asking early.

Can an older-session or backlog BPVC paper be ordered?

Yes, at ₹320 per subject, provided you name the session on your current slip. The booklets say a missed paper is replaced by a fresh set from a later session, so the questions and the date follow the new slip.

My Regional Centre wants a scanned upload. What happens then?

You scan the delivered hard copy yourself and upload it as the centre instructs. No soft copy or PDF is sold, so the scan always starts from the signed paper set with your Part B evidence.

Is MVP-003 or BPVI-001 part of BSCFFSQM?

No. MVP codes belong to the M.Sc. and PG Diploma in Food Safety and Quality Management, and BPVI codes to the DVAPFV, DDT and DMT diplomas. A BSCFFSQM core paper always carries the BPVC prefix.

Will the handwritten BSCFFSQM set look like my writing?

It is written to match the photo you send, at no extra charge. A page that includes numbers, units and a small labelled sketch gives the closest match for food science answers.

What should a learner check before paying anyone for a handwritten assignment?

Five things, with any provider: that the answers come from the booklet for your own code and session; that the price per subject and any postage are stated before payment; that no marks or acceptance are promised; that no delivery date is promised without your pin code; and that the declaration is left for you to sign after reading.
