MSCIS · M.Sc. Information Security · SOVET
Your MSCIS paper is due on 31 October or 31 March, and on the first-semester codes it is marked out of twenty, not a hundred.
Two SOVET booklets were opened for this page, then a third-semester file, and the marks printed on them do not agree. Send the codes your registration record lists and each handwritten set is written to the paper that governs it, on foolscap, with the 4 cm left margin SOVET asks for.
- 64 credits, 20 rows
- 17 codes carry questions
- 31 October or 31 March
- Foolscap, 4 cm left margin
- English medium only
- Year One doubles as PGDIS
A quote needs four lines from you: the codes as your registration record prints them, your semester, the cycle printed on your booklet cover, and your delivery pin code. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
Quick answer. An IGNOU MSCIS handwritten assignment is the set of answers to the Tutor Marked Assignment questions of one Master of Science (Information Security) course code, written by hand on foolscap and handed in on paper at your Study Centre or Regional Centre, or scanned from that paper where your Regional Centre runs an upload link. MSCIS is the 64-credit, four-semester programme of the School of Vocational Education and Training (SOVET), recorded in section 3.68 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus as twenty rows under five prefixes: MSEI, MSE, MSEL, MSEP and a single MCS code, MCS-226. Seventeen of those rows appear in IGNOU’s own assignment booklets, while the two project rows, MSEP-028 and MSEP-038, appear in none. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, and for MSCIS that means English, the only medium section 3.68 lists. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent; SOVET prints 31 October for the July cycle and 31 March for the January cycle, and the first-semester pages read here are marked out of 20. Orders are taken on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830.
MSCIS Papers Fall Due On 31 October Or 31 March
The MSCIS submission dates are 31 October for the July cycle and 31 March for the January cycle, as printed on every SOVET booklet read for this page. Those two dates cover all four MSCIS semesters, from MSEI-021 in the first to MSE-036 in the fourth. The July 2025 and January 2026 Semester I booklets, the January 2026 Semester III booklet and the July 2025 and January 2025 Semester IV booklets all follow the same pairing. Plan each handwritten set backwards from the date your own booklet cover names, and confirm it on ignou.ac.in for the July 2026 cycle.
31 October
The July-cycle date. The July 2025 Semester I booklet prints it against MSEI-021, MSEI-022, MSEI-023 and MSE-024, and the July 2025 Semester IV booklet prints it against MSE-033, MSE-034 and MSE-035. IGNOU’s typesetter wrote it as 31th October on the Semester I file.
31 March
The January-cycle date. It appears on the January 2026 Semester I and Semester III booklets and on the January 2025 Semester II and Semester IV booklets, and the January 2024 Semester IV file carries it too. Three consecutive years make it a SOVET habit rather than a one-off.
Set those dates beside the rest of the university and the pairing looks odd. The School of Management Studies pairs 31 October with 30 April. Schools such as Humanities and Social Sciences pair 31 March with 30 September. SOVET takes October from the first pattern and March from the second, so a date copied from an MBA or MA page is wrong for MSCIS in one cycle out of two.
January is the tight one. A July learner has August, September and October to write; a January learner has whatever weeks remain between admission and 31 March, and a late confirmation can leave less time than a careful foolscap set needs.
One limit belongs here rather than in small print. No July 2026 MSCIS booklet surfaced during this review on 15 September 2026, so 31 October 2026 follows the July 2025 printing, not a 2026 file. Every booklet also says that updates come through the Student Evaluation Division (SED) notification, and IGNOU does extend dates. Check the official IGNOU assignment download service and ask your Regional Centre before relying on either date.
Why Twenty Marks Can Stop A Hall Ticket
Each first-semester MSCIS assignment read for this page is marked out of 20, split into two questions of 10 marks, and that score is the whole of the course’s assignment component. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The MSEI-021 page of the July 2025 booklet and the MSEI-022 page of the January 2026 booklet both print Maximum Marks 20 above exactly two questions. In practice, two answers on foolscap decide the same 30 per cent that ten answers decide on many other IGNOU papers, so neither answer can be thin.
Small paper, large consequence. Instruction 8 on every MSCIS booklet says that a learner who has not sent the handwritten assignment, as hard copy or as a scanned copy to the Regional Centre, will not be issued a hall ticket for the Term End Examination. Guideline 1 goes further: missing the assignment bars you from that course’s examination. Two answers stand between you and the IGNOU hall ticket download page.
The same guidelines shut three doors that learners often assume are open. A passed assignment cannot be resubmitted to improve the mark. Assignments are not subject to re-evaluation. A learner who fails one, or never submits it, waits for the fresh assignment issued to the current batch. One exception is printed as guideline 8: a learner who cleared both components but missed the required overall percentage may resubmit the assignment or re-sit the examination. A submitted mark first shows up through the IGNOU assignment status and result checker.
Printing A Solved File Versus Inking A Foolscap Set For MSEI Codes
A solved assignment is a digital answer file, usually a PDF, prepared as reference material for one of the 17 MSCIS papers in one cycle and read on a screen while a learner composes answers. A handwritten assignment is the set SOVET actually collects: foolscap sheets written by hand, one course code per tied set, handed in at the Study Centre or Regional Centre, or scanned from that handwritten original. The first is a study aid for a code such as MSEI-022. The second is the submission.
Instruction 3 in the MSCIS booklets settles the typed-or-handwritten question in one line: learners must write the responses in their own hand and must not print or type the answers. The same instruction warns that answers reproduced from the study units earn poor marks for that question. Both Semester I booklets, July 2025 and January 2026, print this wording, and the January 2026 Semester III booklet repeats it. A printed solved file therefore fails instruction 3 twice, once for being typed and once for not being the learner’s own composition.
Instruction 8 in the MSCIS booklets allows a scanned copy of the handwritten assignment, sent to the Regional Centre email address or uploaded through the link on the Regional Centre website, as an alternative to delivering the hard copy. The rule appears on the July 2025 and January 2026 files alike. What gets scanned is still a handwritten set, so scanning a typed page does not satisfy it, and the booklet adds that assignments must never be sent to the SED for evaluation.
| Point | Solved file for an MSCIS code | Handwritten MSCIS set |
|---|---|---|
| Format | A PDF or document on a screen | Foolscap sheets, tied per course code |
| Booklet position | Reference reading only | The form instructions 3 and 8 describe |
| Typical use | Checking how far a 10-mark answer should run | Signing, then submitting on paper or as a scan |
| Who reaches for it | A learner unsure of the security concepts | A learner out of writing time before the cut-off |
| Rate on this page | Not sold here | ₹320 per subject, courier included |
On a narrow phone, swipe the table left to read the handwritten column in full.
Reference files for MSEI, MSE and MCS-226 codes belong to the programme-wise index of IGNOU solved assignment files, the page built for that search. They are not sold here, and no printed PDF turns into a submission.
Twelve Terms Behind The MSCIS Rate
Foolscap, as SOVET prints it. Instruction 6 asks for foolscap size paper that is not very thin, a 4 cm margin on the left and at least four lines between answers. Some sellers quote A4 with 1.5 cm margins for these very codes. The booklet does not.
Seventeen papers, never twenty. MSEP-028 and MSEP-038 are project rows and no MSCIS assignment booklet lists them. A code list containing either comes back priced without it, with the reason stated.
No discount for a short paper. A two-question MSEI paper and the ten-question MCS-226 paper cost the same. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.
MCS-226 is planned as the long one. Its January 2026 page sets ten questions of 8 marks, two of them R programs for a decision tree and k-means clustering, and holds 20 marks back for a viva voce that no written set can sit for you.
PGDIS learners use the same codes. Semester I and II rows match the PGDIS table exactly, yet SOVET issues PGDIS its own booklet with its own reference. Say which award your enrolment carries.
No invented TMA string. MSCIS pages print Course Code, Course Title and Maximum Marks, nothing shaped like MSEI-021/TMA. The code goes on your sheet as the booklet prints it.
Written in the hand that signs it. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Diagrams of a handshake or a firewall zone are drawn with the same pen.
English, because section 3.68 says English. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. No Hindi MSCIS paper was found, and none is offered as though one existed.
Back papers from 2024 or 2025. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. The questions answered are the ones on the cover you hold.
One code at a time. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A lateral entrant needing only Year Two, or a learner redoing MSE-031 alone, orders exactly that.
Ink on paper and nothing more. No soft copy or PDF is sold. Where your Regional Centre wants a scan, you make it yourself from the delivered sheets after reading them.
Silence on marks and on arrival days. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
Four Semesters, Seventeen Papers, One Price Per Code
Paste the codes from your registration slip, add January or July from the booklet cover, and say whether you are enrolled in MSCIS or PGDIS. The reply lists each code against its semester, names any project row that carries no paper, and gives a single total.

Twenty MSCIS Rows Across Five Prefixes, And Which Ones Carry A Paper
Section 3.68 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists 20 rows for MSCIS worth 64 credits, and the credits do add up: 16 in each of the four semesters. The same section states that 32 of those credits form the Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security (PGDIS) exit, and that learners who have already passed PGDIS may enter the second year of MSCIS with their credits transferred under university norms. Every row was summed before the tables below were trusted. Read plainly, Year One of MSCIS and the whole of PGDIS are the same eight codes.
Section 3.68 places MSCIS in SOVET, sets eligibility at a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and names English as the medium of instruction. Entry 74 of the programme summary adds the rest: a two-year minimum against a four-year maximum, a fee of Rs. 22,000 per year (Rs. 44,000 in total), semester-wise examination, and admission in both the January and July cycles.
Year One: The Eight Rows PGDIS Also Prints
| Code | Official title | Sem | Credits | In an assignment booklet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MSEI-021 | Introduction to Information Security | I | 4 | Yes, July 2025 page read in full |
| MSEI-022 | Network Security | I | 4 | Yes, January 2026 page read in full |
| MSEI-023 | Cyber Security | I | 4 | Yes, on both contents pages |
| MSE-024 | Policy, Standards and Laws | I | 4 | Yes, on both contents pages |
| MSEI-025 | Application and Business Security Developments | II | 4 | Yes, January 2025 contents page |
| MSEI-026 | BCP, DR Planning and Audit | II | 4 | Yes, January 2025 contents page |
| MSEI-027 | Digital Forensics | II | 4 | Yes, January 2025 contents page |
| MSEP-028 | Project-1 | II | 4 | No, a project row |
The booklet column is the last one; drag the table sideways on a small screen.
The prospectus prints these codes without hyphens or padding, as MSEI 21 and MSE 24, while every booklet prints MSEI-021 and MSE-024. Both forms mean the same paper. Instruction 2 says the course code may be reproduced from the assignment, so the booklet form is the one to copy.
MSE-024 is the row learners most often search under the wrong prefix. It sits in Semester I between three MSEI codes, yet it carries MSE, the prefix of the second-year papers. Searching for MSEI-024 finds nothing useful.
Two of these codes lead a second life elsewhere in the same prospectus. The BCA_NEW course table lists MSEI 023 Cyber Security as a Semester V core course and MSEI 027 Digital Forensics as a Semester VI core course, padded with a zero that the MSCIS table leaves out. A study-help listing filed under BCA can therefore carry the same code as your MSCIS paper.
Year Two: Sixteen Credits A Semester Under Four Prefixes
| Code | Official title | Sem | Credits | In an assignment booklet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MSE-029 | Cyber Attack: use of Technology in Cyberspace | III | 2 | Yes, January 2026 contents page |
| MSE-030 | Cloud and Infrastructure Security | III | 2 | Yes, January 2026 contents page |
| MSE-031 | Cyber Security using Python | III | 4 | Yes, January 2026 contents page |
| MCS-226 | Data Science and Big Data | III | 4 | Yes, January 2026 page read in full |
| MSEL-032 | Practical (Cyber Attacks, Cloud Security and Data Recovery etc.) | III | 4 | Yes, listed at page 10 of the January 2026 file |
| MSE-033 | Web Application Testing and Audit | IV | 4 | Yes, July 2025 and January 2025 contents |
| MSE-034 | E-commerce and Cyberspace | IV | 2 | Yes, July 2025 and January 2025 contents |
| MSE-035 | IoT Security | IV | 2 | Yes, July 2025 and January 2025 contents |
| MSE-036 | Latest Trends in Information and Cyber Security (based on OERs) | IV | 2 | Yes, January 2025 contents page |
| MSEL-037 | Practical (Web Application, Audits, e-commerce security and IoT) | IV | 4 | Probably: the July 2025 Semester IV file is named after it, page not read |
| MSEP-038 | Project-II | IV | 2 | No, a project row |
Swipe left for the final column if the table is cut off.
Year Two is where the rows stop weighing the same. Five taught courses carry 2 credits, five carry 4, and Project-II adds a sixth 2-credit row; both practicals, MSEL-032 and MSEL-037, sit on the 4-credit side. MCS-226 is the stranger in the list: it uses the MCS prefix that IGNOU’s computer applications tables use elsewhere in the prospectus, including the MCS 206 to MCS 208 rows of the PGDCA table. The 2-credit MSE-029 and the 4-credit MCS-226 share one booklet and one rate, because the charge follows the paper, not the credit.
MSE-036 is the only MSCIS row the prospectus describes as based on Open Educational Resources. Its reading comes from openly licensed material rather than a printed SOVET block, which is worth knowing before an answer is drafted.
Eight Places The MSCIS Paperwork Disagrees
- The practical half of MSEI 21, 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27 is invisible in the MSCIS table. Section 8.32 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus prints MSEI 21, 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27 twice each in the PGDIS table, once plain and once with a (P) suffix marking a practical component, while section 3.68 prints the same six MSCIS codes once with no (P). A copy of the MSCIS Programme Guide hosted on a college website calls MSEI-025, MSEI-026 and MSEI-027 integrated theory and practical courses. MSCIS learners should expect practical work on those codes even though the MSCIS table does not show it.
- Three marking scales in one programme. The Semester I pages read here print 20 marks and two questions. The MCS-226 page of the January 2026 Semester III booklet prints 100 marks, 30 per cent weightage, ten questions of 8 marks and 20 marks for a viva voce. The January 2024 Semester III and IV booklets tell learners to attempt any five of seven questions at 20 marks each. Read the scale off your own page.
- An exit award one section names and the other omits. Section 8.32 lets PGDIS learners leave with a PG Certificate in Information Security (PGCIS) after the first semester. Section 3.68 mentions only the 32-credit PGDIS exit.
- Project-1 or simply Project. MSEP 28 is Project-1 in section 3.68 and plain Project in section 8.32. The second-year row is written Project-II. One course, three styles of label.
- Three spellings of one code family. MSEI 21 in section 3.68, MSEI 023 in the BCA_NEW table, MSEI-021 on the booklets.
- A misprinted ordinal and a misleading file name. The July 2025 booklets print 31th October. The January 2026 Semester I booklet covers four codes but sits on the IGNOU server under a file name containing MSEI-022 alone, so a search for MSEI-021 can land on it without saying so.
- What commercial pages get wrong. One study-help catalogue calls the programme a Master of Arts (Information Security). Another titles MSEI-025 Information Security Management instead of Application and Business Security Developments. A question-and-answer site says IGNOU offers no lateral admission, which section 3.68 contradicts for PGDIS holders. Handwritten sellers quote A4 with narrow margins for these codes, against instruction 6.
- On this website, pending correction. The ignouproject.com home page still carries an acceptance assurance backed by a refund, and acceptance is IGNOU’s decision alone. The MMPC-001 course page still quotes a dispatch period in working days, which a pin-code-dependent courier cannot promise. Neither claim is repeated anywhere on this page, and both are queued for correction.
Your registration record outranks every list on this page. Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment. The July 2026 edition behind both tables is listed in the archive of IGNOU prospectus editions.
From An MSEI Code To A Tied Foolscap Bundle
Every MSCIS order moves through five stages in this order. The second exists only because SOVET prints three different marking scales.
- Codes are sorted by semester and by award. Each code is placed against the twenty rows of section 3.68, project rows are set aside, and the enrolment is noted as MSCIS or PGDIS, since the two awards receive separate booklets for the same Semester I and II codes.
- The marking scale is read from your page. A 20-mark, two-question MSEI paper and a 100-mark MCS-226 paper need very different answer lengths. The Semester I pages read here print no word limit, so the 10-mark split sets the depth of each answer.
- Answers are composed from the SOVET blocks. Instruction 3 warns against reproducing the units, so each answer is built in fresh sentences, with a labelled diagram where a question on cryptography stages or a secure shell session calls for one. The blocks cost nothing through the eGyanKosh course library guide, the Gyankosh mirror route and the IGNOU books download index.
- Foolscap, a 4 cm left margin and four clear lines between answers. Each course code is written as a separate assignment, the question number stands beside every answer, and the pages are tied together on paper that is not the very thin kind instruction 6 rules out.
- The header is left for you. Instructions 1 and 2 place Enrolment Number, Name, Address, Signature and Date at the top right, and Programme Title, Course Code and Course Title at the top left. Those lines stay blank for your own pen. The IGNOU assignment cover page explainer, the printable front page format and the notes on assignment format and structure cover the general template.
SOVET’s layout is not the front page most learners download. It splits the header into a right-hand block of personal details and a left-hand block of course details, and it asks for no Study Centre code at all. Add one if your centre insists. The enrolment number lookup helps with the field people most often misplace.
Your Own Letterforms On Every Security Paper
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Ordinary class notes will do. A page carrying a labelled diagram is better, because MSCIS answers mix sentences with arrows, boxes and layered network sketches, and those shapes are part of how a hand looks.
Matching carries more weight on MSCIS than the short papers suggest. Semester I sheets and Semester IV sheets can reach one Regional Centre three years apart under a single enrolment. A learner who finished PGDIS in their own writing and then joined Year Two adds another seam. Matched letterforms keep those submissions reading as one person’s work; the sample photo serves that order only and is deleted afterwards.
Writing MSCIS Answers Yourself Is Free To Learn
A 20-mark paper is a realistic evening for a learner who knows the blocks. The handwritten assignment method on ignouproject.com sets out the sequence, a model IGNOU assignment shows answer depth, the guide to online and offline submission covers both routes instruction 8 allows, and the study centre submission walkthrough explains the counter. Devanagari guidance sits in the IGNOU assignments in Hindi notes, though MSCIS itself is English-only. Order here when time, rather than understanding, has run out.
Two Free MSCIS Planners: Deadline Load And Code Check
Both planners run on this page alone and send nothing anywhere. The first turns a semester into a total and a countdown to 31 October or 31 March. The second accepts an MSCIS code typed any way you like and reports what the booklet expects from it.
Free tool 1
MSCIS Cycle Deadline And Marks-Load Planner
Choose a semester or type how many MSCIS papers you still need, then pick the cycle printed on your booklet. The planner returns the cost at ₹320 each, the next SOVET date for that cycle counted from today, the days left, a planning estimate of writing hours, and the marking pattern read for that semester.
MSEP-028 and MSEP-038 are left out of every option, because no MSCIS booklet lists either project row.
A whole number from 1 to 17. Picking a semester above fills this in.
Once this year’s date has passed, the countdown moves to the same date next year.
Choose a set or a number, pick your cycle, then select Plan My MSCIS Papers.
Book These Papers At ₹320 Each
This tool is guidance from ignouproject.com, not an IGNOU rule. Using it creates no obligation to order anything. The dates follow the July 2025 and January 2026 SOVET booklets and may be changed by an SED notice, and the hours figure assumes two hours of longhand per paper, which MCS-226 will exceed.
Free tool 2
MSEI, MSE And MCS-226 Code Checker
Type any MSCIS course code, choose how your Regional Centre takes submissions, and enter the year on your booklet cover. The checker returns the semester, the credits, whether a SOVET booklet lists the code, the other programmes that share it, how to write it on your sheet, and the checklist for your route.
Any form works: MSEI-021, MSEI 21, msei021 or MCS 226.
Instruction 8 on the MSCIS booklets allows either route.
Four digits between 2018 and 2030, read from the cover line such as JAN 2026.
Type a code such as MSE-031, choose a route, enter the year, then select Check This Code.
Have This MSCIS Paper Written At ₹320
This tool is guidance from ignouproject.com, not an IGNOU rule. Using it creates no obligation to order anything. Titles and credits follow section 3.68 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and booklet details follow the SOVET files read for this page, which IGNOU can replace without notice.
Send The List Your Registration Slip Prints
One message with codes, cycle and pin code is enough to start. The reply confirms which codes carry a paper, the total at ₹320 per subject, and the delivery position for your pin code, all before any payment.

Downloading The Right MSCIS Booklet From SOVET
MSCIS booklets carry no course-level TMA code: the January 2026 Semester I booklet is referenced MSCIS/ASSIGN/2026, the July 2025 booklet MSCIS/ASSIGN/2025, and the July 2025 PGDIS booklet for the same codes PGDIS/ASSIGN/2025. Inside each SOVET file, a course page prints only Course Code, Course Title and Maximum Marks, and instruction 2 says the course code may be reproduced from the assignment. On an MSCIS sheet, then, the course code is written exactly as the booklet shows it, for example MSEI-022, and nothing resembling an MBA-style TMA line is invented.
- Open IGNOU’s own service. Use the IGNOU current assignments page or the webservices assignment portal, and search MSCIS or the course code itself.
- Read the cover before the questions. It names the programme (MSCIS or PGDIS), the cycle (such as JULY 2025 or JAN 2026) and the semester. The July 2025 PGDIS booklet also carries Semester II codes for PGDIS learners who re-registered, which is a reminder to finish the IGNOU re-registration form before the next semester’s paper applies to you.
- Use the contents page as the index. It lists every code inside the file with its date beside it. A file named after one code can hold four.
- Check the marks line on your own course page. A 20-mark MSEI page with two questions and the 100-mark MCS-226 page with ten questions and a viva voce need very different amounts of writing, so that one line decides how long each answer runs.
Older MSCIS files stay on webservices.ignou.ac.in in Master-Degree folders going back to 2021. They are the right papers only for a learner answering that older cycle. For examination practice rather than assignment work, the solved term-end question papers and the previous year paper archive show how SOVET frames a timed paper on the same codes.
After The Study Centre Or Regional Centre Receives Your Set
Keep proof of whichever route you used. A counter receipt, the sent email with its attachment, or the upload confirmation screen is the only evidence that instruction 8 was satisfied, and instruction 7 asks you to keep a copy of every response you submit.
Marks move slowly and in two steps. The set is logged, a counsellor evaluates it, and the award reaches IGNOU’s records before any figure appears against the course code. Arrival and score live on different screens: use the course-wise assignment marks status lookup for one and the assignment column of the IGNOU grade card for the other. A code that never appears is a job for the grade card status checker, and the final consolidated grade card matters once both components are in.
MSCIS assignments are not subject to re-evaluation, so a posted mark stays where it lands. Revaluation applies to the term-end script only. With both components visible, the IGNOU percentage calculator and the IGNOU CGPA calculator make the numbers readable, the wider assignment cycle is summarised on the IGNOU assignment overview, and the December 2026 exam date sheet shows the examination window that follows an October cut-off.
Beyond The Seventeen Papers: Exam Revision And Related Help
The larger 70 per cent is a term-end paper, and most MSCIS learners revise for it while the assignments are still being written. The unit-wise IGNOU study notes, the IGNOU guess paper range, the IGNOU help books catalogue and the guide books sold online cover that side.
Handwritten work does not cover MSEP-028 or MSEP-038, and those two project rows are handled on the MSCIS project page for MSEP-028 and MSEP-038, the PGDIS project page for MSEP-28, the IGNOU project writing service, the synopsis and proposal page and the price list for project work.
MSCIS has one medium, English, under section 3.68 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus. Every SOVET MSCIS booklet read for this page, from July 2025 to January 2026, is an English paper. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which for MSCIS resolves to the English paper alone. An MSCIS paper belongs to the January or July cycle printed on its cover, and SOVET replaces the questions under unchanged codes each cycle. Guideline 6 adds that a learner who failed or missed an assignment waits for the fresh one issued to the current batch, so a backlog order should name the cycle your Regional Centre will accept.
Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
Placing An MSCIS Order On WhatsApp
Everything runs in one WhatsApp chat at +91 93546 37830. There is no web form to fill.
- Send your list. Codes as your record prints them, the semester, MSCIS or PGDIS, the cycle on your booklet, and your pin code.
- Get the count and the total. Project rows are removed, MCS-226 is flagged if it is on the list, and the total is stated at ₹320 per subject. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
- Receive, read, sign, submit. Each code arrives as its own foolscap set with the header blank. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. Then hand it in at your Study Centre, or scan it for the upload link your Regional Centre runs.
Five details make the first message complete:
- Codes exactly as printed, including MSE-024 under its own prefix.
- Semester, and whether you entered Year Two after passing PGDIS.
- January or July, as the booklet cover states it.
- Your Regional Centre’s rule: hard copy, scan, or both.
- Pin code, with a handwriting photo if you want your own letterforms matched.
If 31 October or 31 March is close, say how many days remain in that first message. The delivery position for your pin code is then checked against it before anything is paid.

Section 3.68 supplied the SOVET placement, eligibility, the English medium, all twenty course codes with titles and credits, the 64-credit total, the 32-credit PGDIS exit, the lateral entry clause for PGDIS holders and the OER note on MSE-036. The total was checked by addition: 16 credits in each of four semesters. Entry 74 of the programme summary supplied duration, fee, examination mode and admission cycles. Section 8.32 supplied the PGDIS table with its (P) rows and the PGCIS exit, and the BCA_NEW table supplied the MSEI 023 and MSEI 027 rows. The file was read as extracted text and searched by code.
From IGNOU assignment booklets. Two MSCIS booklets were opened in full on 15 September 2026: the July 2025 Semester I file (reference MSCIS/ASSIGN/2025, MSEI-021 page) and the January 2026 Semester I file (MSCIS/ASSIGN/2026, MSEI-022 page). A third, the January 2026 Semester III file, was opened for its contents page and the MCS-226 page. Together they supplied both dates, the 20-mark and 100-mark scales, the viva voce split, the cover layout, instructions 1 to 8 and guidelines 1 to 9. Contents pages of the January 2025 Semester II and Semester IV files, the July 2025 Semester IV file, the January 2024 Semester III and IV files and the July 2025 PGDIS file were read from IGNOU’s servers as search extracts rather than opened in full.
From a copy of the MSCIS Programme Guide. The integrated theory-and-practical label for MSEI-025, MSEI-026 and MSEI-027 comes from a copy hosted on a college website, not on ignou.ac.in, and nothing else on this page rests on it.
From ignouproject.com as publisher. The commercial terms are the publisher’s, not the university’s. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. IGNOU plays no part in any of it.
Limits of this research. Five questions stay open. No July 2026 MSCIS booklet surfaced, so the 31 October 2026 date is inferred from the July 2025 printing. The MSEL-037 page was not read; its inclusion rests on the file name. The marking scale of the Semester II and Semester IV papers was not read directly. The Programme Guide copy is not an ignou.ac.in file. Whether the (P) components are evaluated separately from the theory paper is not settled by any document read here, and your Learner Support Centre is the place to ask.
Errors can be reported through the ignouproject.com contact page; each report is checked against the SOVET file and dated when fixed. The publisher is described on the about ignouproject.com page, and data handling on the privacy policy.
MSCIS Assignment Questions, Answered From The Booklets
The order below follows how often each question recurred across the search results, forum threads and seller pages reviewed for this page, most frequent first.
31 October for the July cycle and 31 March for the January cycle, as the SOVET MSCIS booklets from July 2025 and January 2026 print them. No July 2026 MSCIS booklet had appeared when this page was reviewed on 15 September 2026, and each booklet refers learners to the SED notification for changes, so confirm the date on ignou.ac.in before planning around it.
No: instruction 3 in the MSCIS booklets of July 2025 and January 2026 tells learners to write the responses in their own hand and not to print or type the answers. A scanned copy is accepted where a Regional Centre asks for one under instruction 8, but the pages scanned must be handwritten. A typed MSEI or MSE answer sheet therefore fails the booklet rule whichever route is used.
₹320 for each course code, whether it is a two-question MSEI paper or the ten-question MCS-226 paper. Courier sits inside that figure, and a single code is an acceptable order.
Yes, where your Regional Centre offers the route. Instruction 8 lists three ways: a scan of the handwritten assignment emailed to the Regional Centre, a scan uploaded through the link on the Regional Centre website, or the hard copy delivered to the Regional Centre or Study Centre. Ask which route your centre uses and keep the confirmation screen or sent email.
Seventeen of the twenty rows: MSEI-021 to MSEI-023, MSE-024, MSEI-025 to MSEI-027, MSE-029 to MSE-031, MCS-226, MSEL-032, MSE-033 to MSE-036 and MSEL-037. MSEP-028 and MSEP-038 are project rows and appear in no booklet. MSEL-037 is counted from the name of the July 2025 Semester IV file, whose page was not read.
MSCIS assignments are marked out of 20 or 100 depending on the page: the Semester I pages of July 2025 and January 2026 print 20 marks in two 10-mark questions, while the January 2026 MCS-226 page prints 100 marks with 20 of them held for a viva voce. The January 2024 Semester III and IV booklets print a third scale, any five of seven questions at 20 marks each. Whatever the scale, the assignment component carries 30 per cent of the course result, so read Maximum Marks on your own page before judging answer length.
Foolscap. Instruction 6 in the SOVET booklets asks for foolscap size paper that is not very thin, a 4 cm margin on the left and at least four lines between answers. Advice to use A4 comes from general pages and sellers, not from the MSCIS paper.
A solved assignment is a reference file you read; a handwritten assignment is the paper set SOVET collects. The file can help you work out an answer to an MSEI or MSE question, but only pages written by hand, submitted as paper or scanned from paper, meet instructions 3 and 8.
No. A printout is typed work, which instruction 3 rules out, and the same instruction warns that answers reproduced from source material score poorly. Read a reference file if it helps, then write your own answers by hand.
No booklet read for this page lists either code. MSEP-028 (Project-1, 4 credits) and MSEP-038 (Project-II, 2 credits) are project rows in section 3.68, so neither is priced at the handwritten assignment rate.
Only the second-year rows: MSE-029, MSE-030, MSE-031, MCS-226 and MSEL-032 in Semester III, then MSE-033 to MSE-036 and MSEL-037 in Semester IV. Section 3.68 transfers PGDIS credits into the first year, but your registration record decides the final list.
The Semester I and II codes are identical, yet SOVET publishes separate booklets for the two awards. In the July 2025 cycle the MSCIS file carried the reference MSCIS/ASSIGN/2025 and the PGDIS file PGDIS/ASSIGN/2025. Download the one headed with your own programme.
Enrolment Number, Name, Address, Signature and Date at the top right, with Programme Title, Course Code and Course Title at the top left, as instructions 1 and 2 print them. Copy the course code from the assignment page, for example MSEI-022; the booklet prints no TMA code line to add.
The paper for the cycle your Regional Centre currently accepts. Guideline 6 says a learner who failed or did not submit waits for the fresh assignment issued to the current batch, so check with the centre before an older paper is written.
The Regional Centre may reject a late set, and the booklets say a learner who has not submitted cannot sit that course’s term-end examination and will not be issued a hall ticket. The course then waits for a later cycle.
No Hindi MSCIS paper was found. Section 3.68 lists English as the only medium, and every SOVET MSCIS booklet read for this page is in English.
No soft copy or PDF is sold. Only handwritten foolscap sets are supplied, and any scan your Regional Centre wants is made by you from the delivered pages.
Five points, whoever the seller is: the codes match your registration record, the questions match the cycle on your booklet cover, the paper is foolscap with a 4 cm left margin, nobody promises marks or acceptance, and delivery is confirmed for your pin code before you pay.
