Twenty Codes on the BSCFBC Table. Ten of Them Need Ink.

Every Biochemistry Major course pairs a BBCCT theory paper with a BBCCL laboratory, and only the theory half carries a written assignment. ignouproject.com writes those ten BBCCT papers by hand from the 2026 calendar-year booklets, after checking each code against BSCFBC rather than the Honours programme that shares the numbers.

  • 10 BBCCT theory TMAs
  • BBCCL labs: no written TMA
  • Code line BBCCT-xxx/TMA/2026
  • 2026 booklets valid to 31 Dec
  • Foolscap with a 4 cm margin
  • Written to match your hand

Quick answer. An IGNOU BSCFBC handwritten assignment is the Tutor Marked Assignment of one 4-credit BBCCT theory course in the four-year Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) Major, answered by hand on foolscap sheets and handed to the Study Centre as a hard copy; the BSCFBC Major, run by the School of Sciences, has ten theory-and-laboratory pairs from BBCCT-101 to BBCCT-123 worth 60 of its 120 credits, and only the ten 4-credit theory halves carry a written assignment, because IGNOU’s biochemistry discipline states that lab courses have none. ignouproject.com writes each BBCCT paper at ₹320 per subject with courier included, in English or Hindi as IGNOU issues the booklet, for the 2026 booklet or an older backlog year, matched free of charge to a photo of your handwriting. Each paper carries 100 marks, needs 35 per cent to pass and decides 30 per cent of the course result; the 2026 booklets print the code as BBCCT-103/TMA/2026 and stay valid until 31 December 2026, while the cut-off for the December 2026 term-end examination is 31 October 2026. Codes go to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830.

BSCFBC Dates for 2026: 31 October for the December Exam, 31 December for the Booklet

A BBCCT paper meant for the December 2026 term-end examination is due by 31 October 2026. The 2026 booklet itself expires on 31 December 2026.

December 2026 term-end examination

31 October 2026

IGNOU moved the general cut-off from 30 September, as reported by Careerindia on 2 October 2026. The notice is university-wide and does not list programmes one by one.

End of the 2026 BBCCT booklet

31 December 2026

Printed as the validity line on the 2026 BBCCT-101, 103 and 111 booklets. After it, the 2027 paper with different questions takes over.

31 October 2026 is the last date for submitting IGNOU assignments that count toward the December 2026 term-end examination, after IGNOU extended the earlier 30 September 2026 cut-off for distance and online learners, according to a Careerindia report of 2 October 2026. The extension is a general notice, so it covers BSCFBC learners writing BBCCT papers in the same way as other undergraduates. A BSCFBC learner who wants to sit a BBCCT examination in December 2026 therefore plans every pending theory paper against 31 October 2026, and checks on ignou.ac.in that no later notice has moved it again.

31 December 2026 is the end of the validity period printed on the 2026 BBCCT booklets of the BSCFBC Major, which run on the calendar year from 1 January 2026 rather than on a July to January cycle. The BBCCT-103 booklet goes further and names 31 December 2026 as its last date of submission; the BBCCT-101 and BBCCT-111 booklets give no separate date and refer learners to the Study Centre’s schedule. The validity date is therefore the life of the question paper, not the December examination cut-off, and a BBCCT paper submitted in November 2026 counts toward a later examination, not toward December 2026.

The booklets add one more condition. BBCCT-101 for 2026 says a learner cannot fill the examination form for the course until its assignment has been submitted, and IGNOU’s December 2026 calendar, as reported, keeps the examination form open with a ₹1,100 late fee only until 15 October, more than two weeks before the assignment cut-off. Where your Study Centre applies that rule strictly, the paper has to be in before the form.

No 2027 BBCCT booklet was located while this page was prepared, and no date for the June 2027 examination had been notified. The site keeps a running list of IGNOU assignment dates as notices appear.

One TMA per BBCCT Paper, 100 Marks, and a 35 Per Cent Floor Under It

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.

The BBCCT booklets set a floor of their own as well: 35 per cent of the 100 assignment marks is needed to pass the assignment. A paper left unwritten costs the 30 per cent and, under the examination-form rule on BBCCT-101, the seat for that course too.

Each 2026 BBCCT booklet is a single Tutor Marked Assignment of 100 marks with ten questions of 10 marks each, most split into two 5-mark parts. BBCCT-111 for 2026 groups them as Part A, five questions on Blocks 1 and 2, and Part B, five questions on Blocks 3 and 4. BBCCT-103 for 2026 runs ten numbered questions and asks for any two of three parts in question 10. Only BBCCT-111 and BBCCT-117 print word limits: about 100 words for a 5-mark part and 250 to 300 words for a 10-mark answer, with 50 words for a 2-mark item where one appears. A BSCFBC learner reads the limits off the booklet in hand, because two papers of the same programme handle them differently.

Written to those limits, one BBCCT paper comes to roughly 2,500 to 3,000 words, plus the structures and diagrams a biochemistry answer cannot do without: a Watson-Crick model, a Z-scheme, a sodium-potassium pump. Ten of them across three years is only the Major.

Biochemistry Model-Answer File or Signed Foolscap: Which One a Study Centre Accepts

The Study Centre accepts the handwritten foolscap set. A downloaded answer file is something to read, not something to submit.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers written for a single IGNOU course code and year, such as BBCCT-111 for 2026. A BSCFBC learner opens one to see how a 10-mark answer on the electron transport chain might be laid out. It carries no enrolment number, no signature and no word in the learner’s own hand, and the BBCCT-111 and BBCCT-117 booklets tell learners not to print or type their answers. Typed work is permitted only to students holding a valid disability certificate, under section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus, which rules out handing in a printed solved file as a BSCFBC assignment.

A handwritten assignment is the same BBCCT questions, the ten of BBCCT-111 for 2026 for instance, answered by hand on foolscap paper, one course code per bundle, with the header fields filled in and the pages tied, and handed to the coordinator of the allotted Study Centre against the remittance-cum-acknowledgement card. The 2026 BBCCT-111 booklet asks for a 4 cm left margin, at least four lines between answers and each assignment written separately, never continued from another. That tied bundle is what the Study Centre sends on for marks.

Twelve Checks a BSCFBC Set Passes Before Dispatch

Theory codes only. A BBCCL code on an order is raised with you first: the laboratory halves are completed at lab sessions and carry no written TMA.

Your semester, not BSCBCH’s. BBCCT-107 Enzymes is a Semester III paper in BSCFBC and a Semester II paper in the Honours programme. The record you hold decides.

Honours-only codes stopped. BBCCT-105, 121, 125 and 127 belong to B.Sc. (Honours) Biochemistry and are not in the BSCFBC table of the prospectus.

One calendar year on the code line. BBCCT-103/TMA/2026, never a two-year span. The 2025 papers printed BBCCT-111/TMA/2025.

Foolscap and 4 cm. The sheets follow the booklet: foolscap size, not very thin, with the margin the evaluator writes in.

Header split as printed. Enrolment number, name, address, signature and date on the right; programme, codes, title and Study Centre on the left.

Part labels from the question page. Part A and Part B where the paper uses them, whatever the instruction page says about a Part C.

Word bands where printed. On BBCCT-111 and 117, about 100 words for 5 marks and 250 to 300 for 10. Elsewhere, answers kept precise, as the booklet asks.

Structures drawn by hand. Amino acids, the DNA double helix and the ATP synthase complex are drawn in ink and labelled, not pasted.

Working shown. A Henderson-Hasselbalch calculation or a free-energy problem is set out step by step, which the booklets ask for in numericals.

Each paper tied apart. BBCCT-109 and BBCCT-117 never share a bundle; the booklet wants every assignment written separately.

Ten papers, ₹3,200. The whole Major at the flat rate, courier already inside each ₹320.

BBCCT Theory, BBCCL Lab: The Ten BSCFBC Pairs and the Semester IGNOU Gives Each

The BSCFBC Major carries ten Discipline Specific Courses of 6 credits each, 60 credits in all, inside the 120-credit three-year degree set out in section 5.14 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus; a fourth year raises the total to 160 credits for Honours, with its courses still to be announced. Each 6-credit course is a 4-credit BBCCT theory paper and a 2-credit BBCCL laboratory, marked to be taken together. The remaining 60 credits split as 24 for six minor and vocational courses, 8 for two ability enhancement courses, 16 for four skill courses, 6 for the interdisciplinary course and 6 for the value-added course. Those figures sum to 120, the total the prospectus states, and the ten pairs below add to 60, so the table was trusted only after both sums held.

Rows follow the order the prospectus prints them in. Slide the table to see the last column.

Only 10 of the 20 codes in the BSCFBC Major table carry a written Tutor Marked Assignment: the ten BBCCT theory courses, not the ten BBCCL laboratories. IGNOU’s own biochemistry discipline site, run for the B.Sc. (Honours) Biochemistry programme that uses the same BBCCL codes, states that there will be no written assignments for lab courses, and the BSCFBC assignment index on webservices.ignou.ac.in lists theory codes only. For a BSCFBC learner the twenty codes in the Major table therefore become ten handwritten papers, and a BBCCL code on a fee receipt or a Samarth record is a lab session to attend, not a booklet to answer.

Seven of the ten BSCFBC Major pairs sit in a different semester from the one the July 2026 Common Prospectus gives the same codes in B.Sc. (Honours) Biochemistry (BSCBCH). BBCCT-107 Enzymes is Semester III in BSCFBC and Semester II in BSCBCH; BBCCT-113 is Semester V against III; BBCCT-119 and BBCCT-115 are Semester VI against IV. BBCCT-101, 103 and 111 line up, more or less. The BSCFBC assignment index follows the BSCFBC map, placing BBCCT-111 in the third semester and BBCCT-117 in the fourth. A BSCFBC learner who copies a BSCBCH classmate’s semester plan will order the wrong papers in the wrong year.

Several biochemistry and science codes look as if they belong on a BSCFBC record and do not, or belong in another category.

Codes a BSCFBC learner meets, and where each one stands
CodesWhat they areOn a BSCFBC record?
BBCCT-105, 121, 125, 127BSCBCH cores: Proteins, Concepts in Genetics, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, ImmunologyNot in the prospectus BSCFBC table
BBCET-141, 143, 145, 151BSCBCH electives: Nutritional Biochemistry, Basic Microbiology, Molecular basis of non-infectious human diseases, Plant BiochemistryNot in the prospectus BSCFBC table
BBCS-183, 185BSCBCH skill courses: Tools and Techniques in Biochemistry, BioinformaticsNot in the BSCFBC section, which points to the BA skill list
BBYCT, BCHCT, BGYCT, BPHCT, BZYCT, BSTM codesMinors in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Zoology and Statistics, 4 credits eachYes, three from one discipline
BEVAE-181, BEGAE-182, BHDAE-182Ability enhancement: Environmental Studies, then English or another languageYes
BEDSV-101 or BNME-001Value-added course, 6 creditsYes, one of them

Each minor, language, skill and value-added course issues its own booklet and is written at the same ₹320.

The minor list has a quirk of its own. The prospectus asks for three discipline minors from a single discipline, yet its BSCFBC list prints only two codes each for Botany, Chemistry and Zoology, four each for Geology, Physics and Statistics, and a 4-credit BPHL 103 Physics: Laboratory-1 among the Physics minors. Learners choosing Chemistry, the obvious companion to Biochemistry, should confirm the third course with the Regional Centre.

The assignment code on a 2026 BBCCT booklet is the course code, then TMA, then the single calendar year, as in BBCCT-103/TMA/2026, because the School of Sciences issues biochemistry papers for January to December rather than for a July to January span. The 2025 booklets followed the same pattern with BBCCT-111/TMA/2025 and BBCCT-117/TMA/2025, while files from 2021-22 still ran from July 2021 to June 2022. A BSCFBC learner copies the code line from the booklet in hand onto the left-hand header, where the 2026 booklets place the programme title, course code, course title, assignment code and Study Centre.

Nine Points Where the BSCFBC Documents Disagree, This Website Included

  1. The programme web page and the prospectus. IGNOU’s BSCFBC page on ignou.ac.in, read on 14 October 2026, gives the medium as English and the fee as ₹14,300 a year; the July 2026 prospectus says English and Hindi and Rs. 14,500. The web page also lists BBCCT-121, BBCET-145, BBCET-151 and BBCS-183, none of which is in the prospectus BSCFBC table, shows BBCCT-103 and BBCCT-115 twice, writes the lab codes 112 and 118 with a BBCCT prefix, titles BBCCT-119 Hormones: Structure and Function, and omits BBCCL-116.
  2. Covers naming one programme or two. The 2026 BBCCT-101 and BBCCT-103 booklets name BSCBCH and BSCFBC; the 2026 BBCCT-111 booklet names BSCBCH alone, as do the 2025 BBCCT-111 and 117 files linked from the BSCFBC index.
  3. A Part C that is not there. The English BBCCT-101 booklet for 2026 says the assignment has three parts, A, B and C; its questions use only A and B, and the Hindi BBCCT-101 for 2026 mentions only two parts.
  4. Two spellings of one date. The BBCCT-103 booklet for 2026 types its validity end as 30st December on the cover and 31th December inside.
  5. An index that stops at 2025. The BSCFBC assignment index on webservices.ignou.ac.in lists January 2024 and January 2025 files only; the 2026 booklets are reached through the search on ignou.ac.in.
  6. Typing slips in the prospectus. The BSCBCH semester table prints BBCCT-114 where the laboratory BBCCL-114 is meant, BSCFBC spells Gene Organisation where BSCBCH spells Organization, and three BSCFBC rows drop the word Laboratory from the lab title.
  7. A minor rule the list cannot meet. Three minors from one discipline are required, but Botany, Chemistry and Zoology list two each in the BSCFBC section.
  8. Validity read as a deadline. The booklets run to 31 December 2026, while the December 2026 examination cut-off is 31 October 2026.
  9. On this website, pending correction. The BSCM page describes 31 December as the hard stop for the December window, which reads the validity line as an examination cut-off; it is being corrected. Two other items on this site await the same fix: the refund-backed acceptance assurance on the home page and the dispatch promise on the MMPC-001 page. This page makes neither promise.

Where these documents clash, the booklet printed for your own code, year and medium, and a written reply from your Study Centre, outrank this page.

From Code List to Tied Foolscap: Five Stages for a Biochemistry Set

Five stages. You are needed at the first and the last.

  1. The codes are sorted into theory and lab. Every code is read against the ten BSCFBC pairs. A BBCCL lab code, an Honours-only BBCCT-121 or a BBCET elective comes back to you as a question before anything is charged.
  2. The booklet year is fixed. A 2026 paper is written from the 2026 booklet whose validity line ends on 31 December 2026, and the 31 October cut-off is pointed out in the first reply if you want the December examination.
  3. Diagrams are planned before the text. Each answer that needs a structure, a pathway or a labelled cell gets its space on the foolscap first, so the drawing is not squeezed into a margin.
  4. The fair copy goes down in your matched hand. Blue or black ink, a 4 cm left margin, four lines between answers, and the header split as the booklet prints it, with the cover page details IGNOU asks for filled except your signature. The enrolment number in IGNOU’s format goes top right.
  5. The bundle is couriered, then finished by you. You read the answers, sign, and follow the steps for submitting at the Study Centre. Keep the acknowledgement card and a copy, as the booklets advise.

Your Handwriting Sample, With Structures and Formulae on It

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

Biochemistry answers are not plain prose. Chemical formulae, subscripts, Greek letters such as alpha and beta, arrows in a pathway and labels on a diagram all carry a writer’s habits, so the most useful sample is a page of your own notes that has a structure or an equation on it. Hindi-medium learners should send a page in Devanagari that includes the English technical terms they normally write alongside it.

One page in your usual pen, photographed square-on in good light, is enough.

Why bother? The same Study Centre receives every BBCCT bundle under your enrolment number for three years, and one consistent hand across them is what a coordinator expects to see.

Writing the BBCCT papers yourself? If the hours are there, that is the better route, and the free material on this site covers it: a step-by-step method for writing a handwritten assignment, a front page PDF ready to print, a finished assignment to compare layout against, the format and structure evaluators look for, and the rules for submitting online or at the centre.

Two Free BSCFBC Checks: Days and Rupees, Then Theory or Lab

The first check counts the days to the cut-off you choose and the cost of the papers you name. The second takes any code from a BSCFBC record and says whether it is a theory paper, a lab, an Honours-only course or a pool course, and what its booklet prints. Neither tool sends your entries off this page.

Finding the 2026 BBCCT Booklet When the BSCFBC Index Stops at 2025

Search ignou.ac.in by course code. The programme index on webservices.ignou.ac.in has no 2026 section.

  1. Open the official search. Go to the assignment download page on ignou.ac.in and type the theory code, for example BBCCT-111.
  2. Pick the file by year and medium. The 2026 biochemistry files sit under the School of Sciences, but their names vary: BBCCT-101-Hindi-2026, BBCCT-111-English-2026 and BBCCT-103-ENG are all 2026 papers, so trust the validity line inside rather than the file name.
  3. Accept either cover label. BSCBCH or BSCBCH with BSCFBC on the cover is the right paper if the code is one of your ten and the validity line reads 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
  4. Read the instruction page before the questions. The pass mark, the paper size, the margin and the header layout are printed there, and they are not the same on every BBCCT booklet.

If a booklet you need is still missing near the cut-off, raise it through the iGRAM grievance route with a screenshot of the empty search. Study blocks are free through the IGNOU books download guide, on eGyanKosh for BBCCT blocks, and on the Gyankosh route when the first is slow.

From the Remittance Card to the Grade Card: Tracking a BBCCT Paper

The acknowledgement card comes first, the online status second, the marks last. The BBCCT booklets ask learners to get their submission acknowledged on the prescribed remittance-cum-acknowledgement card and to submit only at the allotted Study Centre, because TMAs sent anywhere else are not evaluated.

A change of Study Centre that is still pending does not count. Until IGNOU confirms the transfer, the BBCCT-111 booklet says, the paper goes to the original centre.

The assignment status check on the result page shows whether a BBCCT code has been received, and the marks entry explained covers what each status line means. Your BBCCT assignment mark later shows up as the assignment entry on the grade card. Bachelor’s learners use the BDP grade card lookup, read alongside how a bachelor’s grade card is laid out, and the grade card status page fills in until the final grade card for the degree shows all ten theory codes. For conversions there is a percentage calculator and a CGPA converter.

The 2025 BBCCT-117 booklet also says where to go when an evaluated paper comes back with an unmarked answer or a wrong total: the Study Centre coordinator, who can have it corrected.

Exam Preparation and Other Orders Biochemistry Learners Add

The 70 per cent is a written examination, and the December 2026 exam date sheet gives each BBCCT paper its day. Practice comes from guess papers for the December exam, solved term-end question papers and previous BBCCT examination papers, and the sister store lists a BBCCT-103 guess paper. For revision there are condensed study notes, help books arranged by course code and printed guide books.

A fourth-year dissertation or a later master’s project is separate work, handled under IGNOU project and dissertation help, with proposal and synopsis formats, charges for project work and the MSc Biochemistry MBCP-001 project page on their own pages.

Neighbouring programmes have their own handwritten pages: the BSCM page for the multidisciplinary B.Sc., the BSCFAN page for the Anthropology Major, and the older B.Sc. General programme of the School of Sciences.

Medium, session and the names around BSCFBC

BSCFBC is taught in English and Hindi according to the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and IGNOU issues Hindi BBCCT booklets: a 2026 Hindi BBCCT-101 and 2025 Hindi BBCCT-111 and BBCCT-117 files were located for this page. IGNOU’s BSCFBC programme page on ignou.ac.in lists English only, which contradicts the prospectus. The 2026 Hindi BBCCT-101 carries the same code line, BBCCT-101/TMA/2026, and the same validity year as the English file. A Hindi-medium BSCFBC learner answers in Hindi from the Hindi booklet and confirms the medium on the admission record before ordering.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For Devanagari layout, see the guide to Hindi-medium assignments.

Backlog papers are handled too. A learner coming back after a gap usually completes re-registration for the next semester first, or readmission once the enrolment has lapsed, and then answers the booklet for the current year, because a 2025 paper expired on 31 December 2025.

On names: BSCFBC is the programme code of the four-year B.Sc. (Biochemistry) Major; BSCBCH is the older 148-credit B.Sc. (Honours) Biochemistry that shares its BBCCT numbers; BBCCT marks a theory course and BBCCL its laboratory partner.

Ordering BBCCT Papers on WhatsApp: Three Messages, Four Details

  1. Your message to +91 93546 37830. The four details below and a photo of a page of your writing.
  2. The reply with a total. It multiplies ₹320 by your theory codes, flags any lab or Honours-only code, and says whether courier reaches your pin code. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  3. Your payment, then the bundle. The set is couriered to your address. Reading, signing and submitting stay with you.

The four details:

  • Each theory and pool code exactly as Samarth prints it.
  • The booklet year, 2026 or an earlier one for a backlog paper.
  • English or Hindi, as your booklet is printed.
  • A delivery address with its pin code.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. Where a Regional Centre wants the work uploaded, the learner scans the delivered paper set and uploads that scan. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

What This BSCFBC Page Rests On, and What It Could Not Confirm

From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: the ten BSCFBC pairs with codes, titles, credits and semesters in section 5.14; the four-year template with its 120 and 160 credit totals and the category credits; the minor list for BSCFBC and the pointer to the BA lists for skill, interdisciplinary, ability, value-added and vocational courses; the BSCBCH structure in section 7.7 with its 148 credits and semester table; the programme-list row giving English and Hindi and Rs. 14,500 a year; and the typed-assignment provision for learners with disability in section 14.7. The site also has a plain reader’s guide to the Common Prospectus.

From IGNOU’s own files, read on 14 October 2026: the English 2026 booklets for BBCCT-101, BBCCT-103 and BBCCT-111, read in full, and the Hindi 2026 BBCCT-101, read through a legacy-font conversion; the English 2025 BBCCT-111 and BBCCT-117 files and the Hindi 2025 BBCCT-117 file from the BSCFBC index on webservices.ignou.ac.in; IGNOU’s BSCFBC programme page on ignou.ac.in; and the assignments page of IGNOU’s biochemistry discipline site for the statement on lab courses. Dates, marks, word limits, cover labels and code lines come from these. The 31 October 2026 cut-off comes from Careerindia’s report of 2 October 2026.

Terms set by ignouproject.com itself: one flat ₹320 for every subject, postage included; hard copies only; every medium and session at that rate; handwriting matching free; no order too small; and a delivery estimate given per pin code, never promised in advance. IGNOU plays no part in setting them.

What this research could not settle. 2026 booklets for BBCCT-107, 109, 113, 115, 117, 119 and 123 were not located, which does not mean IGNOU has not published them. The statement that lab courses carry no written assignment comes from the Honours discipline site and dates from the 2021-22 cycle; no BSCFBC document repeats it. The IGNOU notice behind the 31 October date was not read directly, the BSCFBC Programme Guide was not located, and both Hindi files were read through a legacy-font conversion, so their wording is approximate. Fourth-year courses are, in the prospectus’s own words, to be provided subsequently.

BSCFBC Assignment Questions, Most Asked First

What is the last date to submit IGNOU BSCFBC assignments for December 2026?

31 October 2026, the extended cut-off IGNOU set for the December 2026 term-end examination, as reported by Careerindia on 2 October 2026; the earlier date was 30 September. The 2026 BBCCT booklets stay valid until 31 December 2026, but that validity line is not the examination cut-off, so a paper handed in after 31 October counts toward a later examination.

Do BBCCL lab courses in BSCFBC have an assignment?

No written assignment. IGNOU’s biochemistry discipline site states that there are no written assignments for lab courses, and the BSCFBC assignment index lists only BBCCT theory codes. Each BBCCL lab is completed at the laboratory sessions, so the twenty Major codes come to ten handwritten papers.

Which course codes does a BSCFBC learner write assignments for?

The ten BBCCT theory papers: BBCCT-101, 103, 107, 109, 111, 113, 115, 117, 119 and 123. Add the minors, the ability, skill, interdisciplinary and value-added courses on your record, each with its own booklet. Your Samarth record says which of them fall due this year.

Can a BSCFBC assignment be typed or printed?

No. Only learners who hold a valid disability certificate may type, under section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus. The 2026 BBCCT-111 and 2025 BBCCT-117 booklets tell learners to write the answers by hand and not to print or type them.

Is a BSCFBC solved assignment the same as a handwritten assignment?

No. A solved assignment is a reference file of model answers that the learner reads; a handwritten assignment is the BBCCT paper answered in ink on foolscap, signed and handed in at the Study Centre. Only the handwritten bundle is taken for evaluation.

Can a printed BBCCT solved PDF be submitted at the Study Centre?

No. A printout is typed work with neither your handwriting nor your signature on it, and the BBCCT booklets rule out printed answers. Use the file to understand the question, then write your own answers by hand.

My BBCCT booklet says BSCBCH on the cover. Is it the wrong paper?

Not if the code is one of your ten and the validity line matches your year. BSCBCH and BSCFBC share the BBCCT numbers, and the 2026 BBCCT-111 cover names BSCBCH alone while BBCCT-101 and 103 name both. BBCCT-105, 121, 125 and 127 are different: those are Honours-only papers.

What is the assignment code on a 2026 BBCCT paper?

The course code, then TMA, then the year: BBCCT-103/TMA/2026, for example. Biochemistry papers run on the calendar year, so there is no two-year span, and the 2025 files printed BBCCT-111/TMA/2025. Copy the line from your own booklet onto the left side of the header.

How many marks and words does a BBCCT assignment carry?

100 marks in ten questions of 10 marks, most split 5 and 5, with 35 per cent needed to pass. BBCCT-111 and 117 print word limits of about 100 words for a 5-mark part and 250 to 300 words for a 10-mark answer; BBCCT-101 and 103 print none and ask for precise answers.

What paper and margin does the BBCCT booklet ask for?

Foolscap-size paper that is not too thin, with a 4 cm margin. BBCCT-111 asks for the margin on the left and four lines between answers; BBCCT-101 and BBCCT-103 ask for it on the left, top and bottom. Tie the pages of each assignment together.

Is the BSCFBC assignment available in Hindi?

Yes, for some papers. A Hindi BBCCT-101 for 2026 and Hindi BBCCT-111 and 117 files for 2025 were located, and the prospectus lists English and Hindi as the media. IGNOU’s programme web page says English only, so check the medium on your admission record.

How much does an IGNOU BSCFBC handwritten assignment cost?

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Three BBCCT papers cost ₹960 and all ten cost ₹3,200, at the same rate in English or Hindi and for older booklet years.

How long does delivery of a BSCFBC set take?

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. With 31 October 2026 close, ask for the estimate in your first message.

Can a 2025 or older BBCCT paper be ordered as a backlog?

Yes. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Name the booklet year, though. A 2025 BBCCT paper expired on 31 December 2025, so a learner submitting now normally answers the 2026 booklet; confirm with the Study Centre which year it will accept.

What if my Regional Centre asks for an online upload instead of a hard copy?

Scan the signed hard copy after it reaches you and upload it the way your centre instructs. No soft copy or PDF is sold. Any upload therefore starts from the paper set in your own hands.

How do I check that my BBCCT assignment was received?

Use IGNOU’s assignment status service with your enrolment number a few weeks after submission. Keep the remittance-cum-acknowledgement card and your copy of the paper, which the booklets ask you to keep, in case the entry does not appear.

Will the handwritten BBCCT set look like my writing?

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. A page that shows your formulae, arrows and labelled sketches gives the closest match, because those are where handwriting differs most.

Are BBCCT-121 and BBCCT-105 part of BSCFBC?

Not according to the July 2026 Common Prospectus, which lists them only for B.Sc. (Honours) Biochemistry. IGNOU’s BSCFBC web page does show BBCCT-121 in the third semester, so if it appears on your record, ask the Regional Centre before writing it.

Before paying any handwritten assignment service, what is worth checking?

Five things, with any provider: that the answers come from the booklet for your own code, year and medium; that the price per subject and any postage are stated before payment; that no marks or acceptance are promised; that no delivery date is promised before your pin code is known; and that the declaration is left for you to sign after reading.
