Quick answer. An IGNOU BSCFMT handwritten assignment is the Tutor Marked Assignment of one course in the Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) Major, solved in ink on foolscap sheets and handed to the Study Centre as a hard copy; BSCFMT is run by the School of Sciences under IGNOU’s four-year undergraduate framework and carries twelve Discipline Specific mathematics courses worth 60 of its 120 credits, from BMTC-131 Calculus in Semester 1 to Linear Programming and Mathematical Modelling in Semester 6, and ignouproject.com writes each paper by hand at ₹320 per subject with courier included, in any medium IGNOU issues it in, for the 2026 booklet or a backlog course, matched at no charge to a photo of your handwriting; each mathematics TMA is a 100-mark paper worth 30 per cent of the course result, the 2026 booklets stay valid until 31 December 2026, the cut-off for the December 2026 term-end examination was reported as 31 October 2026, and course codes go to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830.
No Date on the BMTC Cover: Reading the 2026 BSCFMT Cut-Off
Two dates govern a 2026 BSCFMT paper: 31 October 2026 for the December examination, as reported, and 31 December 2026, after which the 2026 BMTC booklet is no longer valid at all.
To sit the December 2026 exam
31 October 2026
A university-wide extension from 30 September, reported by CareerIndia on 2 October 2026 for distance and online learners. IGNOU’s own circular was not located for this page.
To use the 2026 booklet
31 December 2026
Printed on the 2026 BMTC-131, BMTC-101, BMTC-133, BMTC-134, BMTE-141 and MMT-001 booklets. From January 2027 the 2027 booklet replaces it.
31 October 2026 is the date to work to for a BSCFMT learner who wants to sit the December 2026 term-end examination, because IGNOU links the exam form to assignment submission and the university-wide assignment cut-off for that examination moved from 30 September to 31 October 2026, according to a CareerIndia report dated 2 October 2026. The School of Sciences booklets do not print that date themselves. BMTC-131 and MMT-001 instead state that the exam form for the course cannot be filled until the assignment has been submitted. A learner aiming at December 2026 therefore treats 31 October 2026 as the outer limit, and checks ignou.ac.in and the Study Centre notice board for any later change.
The 2026 BSCFMT mathematics booklets are valid from 1 January to 31 December 2026, a calendar year rather than a July or January admission session. BMTC-131 and BMTC-101 add that a learner who fails, or does not submit by December 2026, must obtain the 2027 assignment instead; BMTC-133 says the paper is valid only up to 31 December 2026 and that answer sheets received after the due date shall not be accepted. The practical meaning is simple. Any BSCFMT paper handed in during 2026 is written from a 2026 booklet, whichever month the learner was admitted in.
So where does the 31 March and 30 September pair come from? Mostly from other schools. School of Social Sciences and School of Humanities booklets print those two dates, and two assignment-listing websites read on 16 October 2026 carried them across: one tabled 31 March 2026 and 30 September 2026 against every BMTC row, the other tied BMTC-131 to the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions with a June 2027 limit. Neither matches the School of Sciences file.
The June examination works on the same logic. For June 2026, study centre notices such as the one at Gargi College set 31 March 2026, and Careers360 later reported an online window running to 15 June 2026.
One rule outranks all of the above: BMTC-133 asks for submission to the Study Centre as per the schedule made by the study centre. Your centre’s own notice is the date that binds. The site keeps a running record of IGNOU assignment notices as they appear.
BMTC Weightage: 30 Per Cent a Course, 20 for MMT-001, and the Exam Form Lock
Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.
That holds for every BMTC and BMTE booklet read for this page. One BSCFMT paper breaks it: the 2026 MMT-001 Programming and Data Structures booklet prints a 20 per cent weightage for continuous evaluation, which matches its split of 2 theory and 2 practical credits in the Programme Guide.
The bigger cost of a missing script is the exam seat. The BSCFMT Programme Guide says a learner cannot sit the term-end examination without submitting the required assignments, and must pass both components, the assignment and the examination, to earn the credits. Its pass line for the examination is 35 per cent or a D grade.
Every 2026 School of Sciences mathematics booklet read for BSCFMT is a single 100-mark paper, but five different question layouts appear across six booklets. BMTC-131 Calculus and BMTC-101 Introduction to Probability and Statistics each set ten questions of 10 marks. BMTC-133 Real Analysis sets eight, opening with ten true-or-false statements worth 20 marks, each to be justified with a short proof or a counterexample. BMTC-134 Algebra is split by block into Part A for 50 marks, Part B for 30 and Part C for 20. BMTE-141 Linear Algebra runs Part A as fifteen 2-mark items, then 40 and 30 marks of longer questions. MMT-001 asks for C programs across eight questions. None of the six prints a word limit, so length follows the working each question needs.
A true-or-false item answered with the word True alone leaves the marks on the table. The booklet asks for the proof.
Downloaded Solutions or Derivations in Your Own Ink: The BSCFMT Comparison
The Study Centre takes the second. A solution file helps a learner check method; it is not a submission.
A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one IGNOU course code and one booklet year, for example BMTC-133 Real Analysis for 2026. A BSCFMT learner might open one to see how an epsilon-delta argument is laid out, or how a counterexample is chosen. It carries no enrolment number, no signature and nothing in the learner’s handwriting, and section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus allows typed assignments only for students with a valid disability certificate. A printout of a solved file is therefore not a BSCFMT submission.
A handwritten assignment is the same set of BMTC questions solved by hand on foolscap, one course code per bundle, with the cover page filled and signed and the script handed to the Study Centre coordinator. The BSCFMT Programme Guide is explicit about the method: write the response in your own hand, and do not print or type the answers. The 2026 booklets add the physical rules, foolscap that is not of a very thin variety and a 4 cm margin on the left, top and bottom, and they ask the learner to retain a copy of the answer sheets.
| Point | Solved assignment | Handwritten assignment |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Soft-copy file for one BMTC code and year | Ink on foolscap, one code per bundle |
| What the learner does with it | Reads it to check method | Reviews it, signs the cover, submits it |
| Taken by the Study Centre | No; the guide says do not print or type | Yes, with an acknowledgement |
| Who it suits | A learner who will solve every question personally | A learner short of writing time before the cut-off |
| Price on this site | Listed with the reference files | ₹320 per subject, courier included |

For the reading copy, the BMTC model-answer files in the solved assignments section are the place to look. Everything below concerns the script that is handed in.
What Each Mathematics Script Gets Before It Is Packed
Working, not just results. Every line from the given data to the final value is written out, because a bare answer to a 10-mark derivation shows the evaluator nothing.
Verdict, then proof. BMTC-133 and BMTE-141 want each true-or-false call backed by a short proof or a counterexample, and the set supplies one for every statement.
Core here, elective there. BMTE-141 and BMTE-144 carry an elective prefix from BSCG, yet both are compulsory BSCFMT Major papers.
The Semester 6 code confirmed. BMTC-110 or MMT-001 is settled from your record before anything is written, since IGNOU’s own documents disagree.
Printed code line flagged. The BMTE-141 booklet heads its paper MTE-02/TMA/2026. That line is pointed out to you, and the cover carries the code your record shows.
Foolscap and 4 cm. Sheets of the weight the booklets ask for, with the left, top and bottom margins left clear.
Part labels copied. BMTC-134 divides its paper into Parts A, B and C by block, and BMTE-141 into three parts by mark band. The set keeps each label.
C code an evaluator can trace. MMT-001 answers are programs, so indentation, braces and semicolons are written as carefully as the logic.
Tables and sketches drawn. Iteration tables, feasible regions and curve sketches go in by hand with a ruler wherever a question calls for one.
The booklet’s own values used. BMTC-101 prints its own chi-square critical values, and the set works with those figures rather than a textbook table.
Your signature left open. Name, roll number, address and Study Centre are filled in; the declaration waits for you.

Quote My BSCFMT PapersTwelve Mathematics Codes Over Six Semesters, and a Sixth Semester in Three Versions
A BSCFMT learner writes assignments for twelve Discipline Specific mathematics courses worth 60 credits, inside the 120-credit three-year Major set out in section 5.15 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus. Seven of the twelve carry 4 credits and five carry 6; the rows in the table below add to 60. The other 60 credits come from six minor courses (24), two ability enhancement courses (8), four skill enhancement courses (16), one interdisciplinary course (6) and one value-added course (6), which sums to 120, and every semester in the prospectus table totals 20. Both checks held before the table was trusted. A fourth year would take the Honours degree to 160 credits, but its courses are, in the prospectus’s words, to be provided subsequently.
| Semester | Code | Official title | Credits | 2026 booklet read here |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | BMTC-131 | Calculus | 6 | Yes, BMTC-131/TMA/2026 |
| 2 | BMTC-132 | Differential Equations | 6 | 2025 edition read; 2026 not located |
| 3 | BMTC-101 | Introduction to Probability and Statistics | 4 | Yes, BMTC-101/TMA/2026 |
| 3 | BMTC-102 | Multivariable Calculus | 4 | Not located |
| 3 | BMTC-103 | Discrete Mathematics | 4 | Not located |
| 4 | BMTE-141 | Linear Algebra | 6 | Yes, but the code line reads MTE-02/TMA/2026 |
| 4 | BMTC-133 | Real Analysis | 6 | Yes, cover names BSCG/BAG/BSCFMT |
| 5 | BMTC-134 | Algebra | 6 | Yes, Parts A, B and C |
| 5 | BMTE-144 | Numerical Analysis | 6 | Only a 2024 BSCG file seen |
| 6 | BMTC-110 | Programming in C language (prospectus); MMT-001 Programming and Data Structures in the Programme Guide | 4 | MMT-001 read, prints MMT-001/TMA/2025 |
| 6 | BMTC-104 | Linear Programming | 4 | Not located |
| 6 | MTE-14 | Mathematical Modelling (printed MTE 014 in the prospectus) | 4 | Not located |
| Total | 12 codes | Discipline Specific Courses | 60 | Six of twelve read |
Rows follow the prospectus semester order. The prospectus writes BMTC 131; booklets write BMTC-131. Same course.
A decision follows directly from the table. A learner in Semester 3 during 2026 owes three 4-credit mathematics papers, BMTC-101, 102 and 103, plus a discipline minor and the language course. A Semester 6 learner owes Linear Programming, Mathematical Modelling and one programming paper, and the next paragraph explains why that last one needs checking.
Semester 6 of BSCFMT is described three different ways by IGNOU itself. The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists BMTC 110 Programming in C language, BMTC 104 Linear Programming and MTE 014 Mathematical Modelling at 4 credits each. The BSCFMT Programme Guide on ignou.ac.in keeps Linear Programming and Mathematical Modelling, writes the second as MTE-14, and puts MMT-001 Programming and Data Structures, 2 theory and 2 practical credits, in place of BMTC-110. The BSCFMT programme page on ignou.ac.in lists BMTC-104 alone for Semester 6. A Semester 6 learner therefore writes the programming code that appears on the Samarth registration record, and asks the Study Centre in writing if the record shows neither.
The remaining 60 credits are spread across categories that each come with their own booklets.
| Category | Credits | Semesters | Codes named for BSCFMT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minor, vocational (3 courses) | 12 | 1, 2 and 6 | BECS-184 Data Analysis, BPAS-184 Logistics Management, BHDS-184 Radio Lekhan, BCOS-185 Entrepreneurship, BCOS-186 Personal Selling and Salesmanship |
| Minor, discipline (3 courses) | 12 | 3, 4 and 5 | Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Zoology, Statistics (BSTM-161 to 164), Economics (BECM-161, 162) or Anthropology (BANM-161, 162) |
| Ability enhancement (2) | 8 | 2 and 3 | BEVAE-181 Environmental Studies, then an English, Hindi, Urdu or Sanskrit course |
| Skill enhancement (4) | 16 | 1, 4, 5 and 6 | BMPS-183 Employability and AI Skills first, then the BA Major skill pool |
| Interdisciplinary (1) | 6 | 1 | One of nine, such as BEGG-171 Media and Communication Skills or BPCG-171 General Psychology |
| Value-added (1) | 6 | 2 in the table | BEDSV-101 Value Education |
| Total | 60 | 1 to 6 | Each with its own booklet, at the same ₹320 |
Slide sideways for the codes column.
The prospectus attaches one condition to the minors: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology are for learners who passed 10+2 with Science. BPHL-103 Physics: Laboratory-1 sits in the minor list too, and laboratory courses carry no written assignment under the Programme Guide.
Leaving early has a cost in booklets as well as credits. A learner who exits after the first year needs 40 credits plus one extra 4-credit vocational course for the UG Certificate in Mathematics, and after the second year 80 plus 4 for the UG Diploma in Mathematics; that extra course comes with its own assignment.
On the 2026 School of Sciences mathematics booklets, the assignment code reads course code, then TMA, then the calendar year, as in BMTC-133/TMA/2026, with two exceptions found in this research. The BMTE-141 Linear Algebra booklet, valid from 1 January to 31 December 2026, prints MTE-02/TMA/2026, an older MTE-series code rather than BMTE-141, and leaves its course-title field blank. The MMT-001 booklet for the same year prints MMT-001/TMA/2025. Cover layouts differ too: BMTC-131, BMTC-101 and BMTC-134 include an Assignment No. field, while BMTC-133, BMTE-141 and MMT-001 move straight from Course Title to Study Centre. A BSCFMT learner copies the code line and the cover fields from the booklet in hand, never from a classmate’s.
Nine Points Where the BSCFMT Paperwork Contradicts Itself, This Website Included
- Semester 6 programming. BMTC-110 Programming in C language in the prospectus, MMT-001 Programming and Data Structures in the Programme Guide, and neither on the ignou.ac.in programme page.
- One course, two spellings. Mathematical Modelling is MTE 014 in the prospectus and MTE-14 in the Programme Guide.
- A code printed once. The BSCFMT semester table gives AEC-1 as BEVAE-101. Every other table in the prospectus, and the Programme Guide, give BEVAE-181, and the Guide itself calls the course Environmental Sciences in one place and Environmental Studies in another.
- Placement rules the table breaks. The text says the value-added course runs in Semester 1 only and that skill courses start in Semester 3; the table puts BEDSV-101 in Semester 2 and BMPS-183 in Semester 1, with no skill course in Semester 3.
- Old codes on new booklets. BMTE-141 prints MTE-02/TMA/2026; MMT-001 prints MMT-001/TMA/2025 on a 2026 file, along with a 20 per cent weightage.
- Whose booklet is it? BMTC-133 names BSCG/BAG/BSCFMT, BMTC-134 refers to the B.A./B.Sc. (General) guide, and BMTC-131, BMTC-101 and BMTE-141 name no programme. BMTE-141 also says Programme Centre in one instruction and study centre in the next.
- A shorter list than promised. BSCFMT says it takes the BA Major interdisciplinary pool, then lists nine courses and leaves out BDIG-171 Introduction to Migration and Diaspora.
- Duration. The prospectus gives 3 or 4 years minimum and 6 or 8 years maximum; the ignou.ac.in programme page gives 36 and 72 months.
- On this website, pending correction. The home page’s acceptance assurance with a refund and the dispatch-time promise on the MMPC-001 page are queued for correction. This page makes neither promise.
Where these clash, the booklet for your own code and the written word of your Study Centre outrank this page.
Five Passes Over Every BMTC Paper Before the Courier Collects It
You are needed at the start and at the end. The middle three are the writing.
- The codes are checked against the twelve. Each code on your list is matched to the BSCFMT semester table and the common pool. A BSCG-only elective, a laboratory code or an unconfirmed Semester 6 programming course comes back as a question before payment.
- The year of the booklet is fixed. A paper handed in during 2026 is solved from the 2026 booklet. From 1 January 2027 only the 2027 booklet will do, and a backlog course follows the same rule.
- Rough work comes before ink. Each derivation, proof and program is worked through and checked on scrap paper first, so the fair copy carries no crossings-out in the middle of an argument.
- The fair copy goes on foolscap in your matched hand. Margins as the booklet asks, part labels as printed, and the cover page fields an IGNOU script needs filled in apart from the signature. Your enrolment number in the format IGNOU uses heads every bundle.
- The bundle is couriered, and you finish it. Read every solution, sign the declaration, then follow the steps for submitting the script at the Study Centre. The Programme Guide asks for an acknowledgement on the remittance-cum-acknowledgement card; keep it.
Digits, Integral Signs and Your Own Hand: The Sample Photo
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
Mathematics gives a writer more to match than prose does. How you close a 4, whether your 1 carries a serif, how you separate x from the multiplication sign, the size of your integral and summation signs, the way you write theta and epsilon: these are what make a script look like one person’s work. A page of your own class notes with numbers and symbols on it is ideal.
One photo in daylight, held flat. That is all.
Why bother? The same Study Centre sees every BSCFMT script you submit across six semesters, and twelve mathematics papers in one steady hand read as a single learner’s record.
Solving the BMTC papers yourself? If the hours exist, do it; it is also the best preparation for the 70 per cent examination. These pages help: a step-by-step method for handwriting an IGNOU assignment, a front page you can print and fill, completed sample scripts to check layout against, a note on assignment structure and presentation, and the difference between online and offline submission.
Work It Out Here First: A BSCFMT Cut-Off Counter and a Paper Locator
The counter turns a paper count into rupees, days and writing hours against the date you choose. The locator places any code in the BSCFMT structure and says what its 2026 booklet prints. Neither tool sends anything off the page.

Send My Locator ResultPulling the 2026 BMTC Booklet From ignou.ac.in by Course Code
Search by course code. The programme name does not help, because most of the 2026 mathematics booklets never mention BSCFMT.
- Open IGNOU’s search. Go to the official assignment download page on ignou.ac.in and type the code, for example BMTC-133.
- Pick the file for the right year. School of Sciences mathematics files carry the year and the medium letter in the name, such as BMTC-131-E_2026. A file marked 2025 is last year’s paper.
- Ignore the programme label. BSCG/BAG/BSCFMT on the cover, or no programme at all, is normal for a BMTC booklet. The course code and the validity line are what matter.
- Read the instructions page before the questions. It carries the validity window, the paper and margin rules and the cover layout. On BMTE-141, expect the MTE-02 code line described above.
The BSCFMT Programme Guide on ignou.ac.in holds the submission rules quoted on this page. A booklet still missing close to the cut-off can be reported through the iGRAM grievance portal with a screenshot of the empty search. Study material is free: BMTC block PDFs to download, eGyanKosh for the mathematics blocks, and the Gyankosh route when eGyanKosh is slow.
Proof That a BMTC Paper Arrived, and Where Its Marks Show Up
The acknowledgement comes first. Then the online status, then the marks, in that order and usually weeks apart.
Keep the stamped remittance-cum-acknowledgement card and the copy of the answer sheets the booklets ask you to retain. If an entry never appears, those two are the evidence.
Status for each code shows on the BMTC submission status check on the assignment result page, and the meaning of each marks entry is set out separately. The 30 per cent sits in the assignment column of the grade card. Undergraduate learners look up results through the bachelor’s degree grade card search, with a guide to reading a BDP grade card line by line; the overall grade card status fills in course by course until the final grade card for the Major lists all twelve. To convert grades, use the IGNOU percentage converter or the CGPA calculator. Because the exam form waits on the assignment, the term-end exam form and its fee come next.
Alongside the Handwritten Set: Practice Papers, Notes and Neighbouring Programmes
Seventy per cent of each course is still decided in the examination hall. The December 2026 date sheet fixes each BMTC exam day, and practice comes from guess papers for the December 2026 session, worked term-end question papers and previous years’ BMTC papers. For revision there are condensed study notes, help books arranged by course code and printed guide books by post.
If an Honours fourth year eventually brings a project or dissertation, that work sits outside this page, with IGNOU project report support, synopsis and proposal formats and the project service rate card each on its own page.
Neighbouring programmes have their own handwritten pages: the multidisciplinary BSCM page, which shares BMTC-131 and BMTE-141, the BSCFBC Biochemistry Major page and the BSCFAN Anthropology Major page.
English, Hindi, Backlog Years and the BSCFMT Name
BSCFMT is taught in English and Hindi, according to both the July 2026 Common Prospectus and the BSCFMT Programme Guide, and the Guide allows a change of medium only within 30 days of receiving the first set of material. Every 2026 School of Sciences mathematics booklet read for this page was an English edition, marked E in its file name, and no Hindi edition of a BMTC paper was located. A Hindi-medium BSCFMT learner answers in Hindi from the Hindi paper if the Study Centre supplies one, and otherwise asks the centre in writing which file it will accept.
The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For Devanagari layout and notation, see the note on presenting an IGNOU assignment in Hindi.
A BSCFMT backlog course is answered from the current year’s booklet, not from the booklet of the year the course was first registered. The BSCFMT Programme Guide tells learners to submit only the current year’s assignment, and the 2026 BMTC booklets say that anyone who fails, or misses December 2026, must obtain the 2027 assignment. A learner clearing a 2024 BMTC-132 in November 2026 therefore solves the 2026 questions, and one clearing it in February 2027 solves the 2027 questions.
Learners returning after a break usually complete re-registration for the next semester first, or readmission once the enrolment has lapsed.
On names: BSCFMT is the programme code of the B.Sc. (Mathematics) Major under IGNOU’s four-year framework; BMTC and BMTE are the course prefixes on ten of its twelve Major papers; the older B.Sc. General (BSCG) programme uses the same BMTC and BMTE codes, which is why BSCG appears on BSCFMT booklets.

Documents Behind the BSCFMT Figures, Read on 16 October 2026
From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: section 5.15 on BSCFMT, with its eligibility, English and Hindi medium, six-semester table, the twelve Discipline Specific codes and credits, the minor list, the exit rules and the 160-credit Honours note; the programme-list row giving 3 or 4 years and 6 or 8 years; the BA Major interdisciplinary, ability, skill and value-added pools on pages 159 to 161 that BSCFMT borrows; and the typed-assignment provision in section 14.7. A plain guide to reading the IGNOU prospectus is on this site.
From IGNOU’s own files on ignou.ac.in: the 2026 English booklets for BMTC-131, BMTC-101, BMTC-133, BMTC-134, BMTE-141 and MMT-001, and the 2025 BMTC-132 booklet, read for their validity lines, code lines, cover fields and marks; the BSCFMT Programme Guide for its semester table, submission rules and pass criteria; and the BSCFMT programme page for its duration and course list. Dates, marks, code strings and cover layouts on this page come from these.
From news reports, not from IGNOU: the 31 October 2026 extension for the December 2026 examination (CareerIndia, 2 October 2026) and the 15 June 2026 online window for the June examination (Careers360). The 31 March 2026 date comes from a Gargi College study centre notice.
Commercial terms set by ignouproject.com: a flat ₹320 for each subject with postage absorbed, paper copies only, any medium or year, handwriting matched without a fee, orders of any size, and delivery estimated per pin code rather than promised. IGNOU plays no part in them.
Gaps this research leaves open. No 2026 booklet was located for BMTC-102, BMTC-103, BMTC-104, BMTC-110, BMTE-144 or MTE-14, nor a 2026 edition of BMTC-132; that does not mean IGNOU has not issued them. No Hindi BMTC booklet was found. IGNOU’s own circular for the 31 October 2026 extension was not located. Which Semester 6 programming code a given learner is registered for could not be settled from the documents, and the fourth-year course list does not yet exist.

Doubts Mathematics Learners Raise About BSCFMT Assignments, Commonest First
What is the last date to submit IGNOU BSCFMT assignments for the December 2026 exam?
31 October 2026, as reported by CareerIndia on 2 October 2026 when the university-wide cut-off moved from 30 September. The 2026 BMTC booklets print no submission date of their own, only validity to 31 December 2026, and BMTC-133 defers to the Study Centre’s schedule, so check your centre’s notice as well.
Can a BSCFMT mathematics assignment be typed or printed?
No. The BSCFMT Programme Guide says to write the response in your own hand and not to print or type the answers; section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus makes an exception only for learners with a valid disability certificate.
How many marks does a BMTC assignment carry, and how much does it count?
100 marks, counted as 30 per cent of the course result, on every 2026 BMTC and BMTE booklet read for this page. The MMT-001 Programming and Data Structures booklet is the exception, at 20 per cent.
Can I fill the BSCFMT exam form without submitting the assignment?
No. The 2026 BMTC-131, BMTC-101 and MMT-001 booklets state that the exam form for a course cannot be filled until its assignment is submitted, and the Programme Guide bars the term-end examination without the required assignments.
Where do I download the official BSCFMT assignment questions?
From the assignment download page on ignou.ac.in, searched by course code such as BMTC-133 rather than by programme name. Most 2026 School of Sciences mathematics booklets do not mention BSCFMT at all.
Is a BSCFMT solved assignment the same as a handwritten assignment?
No. A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers kept for reference; a handwritten assignment is the BMTC paper solved in ink on foolscap, signed and handed to the Study Centre. Only the second counts towards the 30 per cent.
Can a printout of a BMTC solved PDF be submitted at the Study Centre?
No. A printout is typed work without your handwriting or signature, which the Programme Guide rules out. Use the file to check method, then write the solutions yourself or order a handwritten set.
Should I write BMTC-110 or MMT-001 for the Semester 6 programming course?
Write whichever code your Samarth registration record shows. The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists BMTC-110 Programming in C language, the BSCFMT Programme Guide lists MMT-001 Programming and Data Structures, and the ignou.ac.in programme page lists neither.
Why does the BMTE-141 booklet say MTE-02 at the top?
Because the 2026 BMTE-141 Linear Algebra booklet prints MTE-02/TMA/2026 as its code line, an older MTE-series code, while your record and the course code say BMTE-141. Keep BMTE-141 as the course code on the cover, and ask the Study Centre if you are unsure.
Is BSCFMT the same as BSCG, or a separate Honours programme?
BSCFMT is not BSCG, and it is itself the Honours route. Three years give the B.Sc. (Major) in Mathematics at 120 credits, and a fourth year, whose courses are not yet listed, would give Honours at 160. BSCG is the older B.Sc. General, which shares the BMTC and BMTE codes.
My BMTC paper is a backlog from 2025. Which year’s questions do I answer?
The questions of the year in which you submit. The Programme Guide says to submit only the current year’s assignment, so a 2025 backlog handed in before 31 December 2026 is solved from the 2026 booklet, and from January 2027 from the 2027 one.
Is the BSCFMT assignment available in Hindi?
The programme is offered in English and Hindi, but no Hindi edition of a 2026 BMTC booklet was located for this page. A Hindi-medium learner should ask the Study Centre which file it accepts before writing.
What paper size and margins does a BSCFMT assignment need?
Foolscap that is not of a very thin variety, with a 4 cm margin on the left, top and bottom, as every 2026 School of Sciences mathematics booklet read here instructs. Some study centres and other schools mention A4; the BMTC booklets say foolscap.
How much does an IGNOU BSCFMT handwritten assignment cost?
₹320 for each subject, and the courier charge is already inside that figure. Three Semester 3 mathematics papers come to ₹960, and all twelve Major papers to ₹3,840.
How long does a BSCFMT set take to arrive?
It varies by pin code, so this page gives no figure. Your address is checked and the estimate confirmed before payment; with 31 October 2026 close, say so in the first message.
How do I check whether my BMTC assignment was received?
Through IGNOU’s assignment status service with your enrolment number, some weeks after submission. Keep the acknowledgement card and your copy of the answer sheets in case the entry is slow to appear.
My Regional Centre wants a scanned upload. What then?
Scan the delivered hard copy and upload it as the centre directs. No soft copy or PDF is sold, so the scan is made from the signed paper script.
Will the handwritten mathematics set look like my own writing?
It is matched, free of charge, to the photo you send. A page of your own notes showing digits, symbols and Greek letters gives the closest result.
What should a learner check before paying anyone for a handwritten mathematics assignment?
Five things, whoever the provider: that the solutions come from the booklet valid in the year you submit; that working is shown, not only answers; that the per-subject price and any postage are stated in advance; that nobody promises marks, acceptance or a delivery date without your pin code; and that the declaration is left for you to sign after reading.
