MSCIDS · M.Sc. Industrial Safety · SOET
SOET closes MSCIDS papers on 30 September and 30 April, and its January 2025 booklet still prints a 2024 code on every page.
Three School of Engineering and Technology files were read for this page. They agree on ten questions and a hundred marks per course, disagree with the prospectus on two course titles, and stop at the second semester. Send the MIS and MEV codes on your registration record and each one is written by hand to the page that governs it.
- 80 credits, 20 rows
- 18 codes carry a TMA
- 30 September or 30 April
- 10 questions, 100 marks
- Regional Centre submission
- English medium only
Four things start a quote: your codes as the registration record prints them, the semester, the cycle named on the booklet cover, and the pin code the set travels to. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
Quick answer. An IGNOU MSCIDS handwritten assignment is the answer set for one Tutor Marked Assignment of the Master of Science (Industrial Safety), written out by hand on full-size paper and delivered as a hard copy to your Regional Centre, which is where the School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) booklets tell learners to submit. MSCIDS is an 80-credit, four-semester SOET programme listed in section 3.71 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus with 20 rows: sixteen MIS codes from MIS-021 to MIS-038, four MEV codes (MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-005 and MEV-016), and two project rows, MISP-021 and MISP-031, which carry no assignment. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, and for MSCIDS that is English, the only medium section 3.71 records. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent; SOET prints 30 September for the July cycle and 30 April for the January cycle, and every MSCIDS assignment read here has ten questions for 100 marks. Orders go through WhatsApp on +91 93546 37830.
MSCIDS Assignments Close On 30 September And 30 April
SOET sets 30 September as the MSCIDS last date for the July cycle and 30 April for the January cycle. The July 2024 first-semester booklet prints “30th Sept. for July 2024 Session” on its cover and Sept. 30, 2024 against MIS-021 to MIS-024. Both January 2025 booklets, first and second semester, print “30th April for January 2025 Session” and April 30, 2025 against all nine codes inside them. So an MSCIDS learner counts backwards from the date on the cover of the booklet in hand, not from a date quoted for another programme.
30 September
July-cycle learners. Printed on the cover and on every course page of the July 2024 Semester I file, the newest July-cycle MSCIDS file IGNOU’s index offers.
30 April
January-cycle learners. Printed on both January 2025 files, which between them cover MIS-021 to MIS-026 and the three MEV codes of Semester II.
This pair is SOET’s own. It matches no other school in full. The School of Management Studies closes on 31 October and 30 April, so an MBA date gets April right and September wrong. Humanities and Social Sciences pages close on 31 March and 30 September, which gets September right and April wrong. The Information Security programme next door uses 31 October and 31 March, and gets both wrong for MSCIDS.
A July 2026 learner has a real problem. No MSCIDS booklet dated 2026 appeared on IGNOU’s programme index when this page was reviewed on 17 September 2026, and one national education portal lists M.Sc. Industrial Safety under a 31 October 2026 cut-off, a date no SOET booklet read here prints. Treat 30 September as the working date until a 2026 file or a Student Evaluation Division notice says otherwise, and check the IGNOU current assignments service for the date shown against your own code.
Late sets are not held over. Each SOET booklet closes its instructions with the same warning: answer sheets received after the due date shall not be accepted.
Ten Questions, Forty Marks To Clear, And The Exam Behind Them
Every MSCIDS assignment read for this page carries 10 questions of 10 marks each, 100 marks in all, and SOET requires at least 40 of those 100 marks on each one. The Semester I and Semester II booklets of January 2025 and the Semester I booklet of July 2024 all print “Attempt all questions. All questions carry equal marks.” above the ten questions, and their covers state the 40-mark minimum per assignment. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Nothing in the booklets lets a learner skip three questions and still reach full marks, because there is no choice to make.
Fifty answers is what Semester II alone asks for. Semester II alone holds five codes, which means fifty answers, several of them split into a and b parts worth 5 marks each. MIS-022 Industrial Safety: Rules and Acts is built entirely from paired 5-mark parts, twenty in all, most of them on the Factories Act, 1948.
Two questions demand more than recall. MIS-023 asks for a construction accident case study that must differ from the cases in the study material, set out under cause, losses, remedial measures and preventive measures. MIS-024 asks what material caused the health hazard in the UCIL accident and what failed at the Vizag gas leak. Neither can be lifted from a block.
The booklets print no word limit on any of these pages. Length follows the mark: a 10-mark answer needs room for a definition, the explanation the question names, and a worked example, while a 5-mark part needs roughly half of that.
An Answer PDF Or Ink On Full-Size Sheets: What SOET Accepts For MIS Codes
A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one cycle, such as MIS-021 for January 2025, read on a screen before a learner writes. It is reading material. Nothing in an MSCIDS booklet treats a downloaded file as something a Regional Centre collects.
A handwritten assignment for MSCIDS is those 10 answers written out by hand on full-size paper, one course code per set, with a 2 cm margin on the left, top and bottom, and delivered as a hard copy to the Regional Centre. Instruction 5 in all three SOET booklets read for this page states it without qualification: “Only hand written answers are acceptable. Do not submit typed or photocopied answers.” That sentence rules out a printed solved file and a photocopy of someone else’s handwritten set in the same breath.
Photocopies deserve a word of their own. Learners sometimes ask whether a clean photocopy of a friend’s MIS-022 answers would pass. Instruction 5 names photocopies specifically, so it would not, whatever the handwriting looks like.
| Question | Solved file for an MIS code | Handwritten MSCIDS set |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A PDF of model answers on a phone or laptop | Full-size sheets in ink, one set per code |
| Booklet instruction 5 | Typed or photocopied pages are refused | The only form the booklet accepts |
| What the learner does | Reads it to see how a 10-mark answer is built | Fills the header, signs, hands it to the Regional Centre |
| Suits | Someone unsure what a Factories Act answer should cover | Someone with the knowledge but not the writing hours before 30 September or 30 April |
| Price here | Not sold on this page | ₹320 per subject, courier included |
On a phone, slide the table sideways to see the handwritten column.
Anyone who wants the reference file rather than the written set will find it through the course-wise IGNOU solved assignment PDF hub, which is the page that handles that search. It is a study aid there too, and no printed copy of it becomes a submission for MIS-021 or MEV-005.
What Each Paid Code Covers On An Industrial Safety Paper
Eighteen payable codes, not twenty. MISP-021 and MISP-031 are project rows with no TMA page in any SOET booklet. A list that includes them is quoted without them, and the reply says why.
All ten questions, every time. The set answers all ten questions on the page, because the booklet offers no choice. Short 5-mark parts are answered as parts, labelled a and b.
Full-size paper and a 2 cm border. Instructions 2 and 3 ask for full-size sheets that are not the very thin kind, with 2 cm left clear on the left, top and bottom. That is what arrives.
A case study nobody else was handed. The MIS-023 construction accident answer uses a case outside the study material, as question 10 demands, laid out under its four printed headings.
MEV codes priced like MIS codes. MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-005 and MEV-016 cost the same as any MIS paper. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.
The header copied from SOET, not from a template. The nine fields instruction 1 lists, from enrolment number to date, are laid out on the first page and left blank for your pen.
Your letter shapes on sketches too. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Fire triangle and fault tree sketches are drawn in the same hand.
English is the only paper that exists. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. Section 3.71 lists English alone for MSCIDS, and every SOET file read is English.
A 2024 cover still counts as a job. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. The questions answered are the ones on your own cover.
A single MEV-016 is a full order. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A PGDINDS holder in Semester III orders only the second-year codes.
Paper, and paper only. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The delivered sheets are the whole product, and nothing is emailed alongside them.
No promises about the evaluator or the courier. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
Send Your MIS And MEV Codes For A Count
Copy the codes off your registration record, add the semester and the cycle on your booklet cover, and say whether you came in through PGDINDS. The reply sorts the codes by semester, drops any project row, flags a code whose booklet is not yet online, and gives one total.
Count My MSCIDS Codes At ₹320 Check If My Semester Has A Booklet
All 20 MSCIDS Rows From MIS-021 To MISP-031, Semester By Semester
Section 3.71 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists 20 MSCIDS rows worth 80 credits: 16 in Semester I, 20 in Semester II, 24 in Semester III and 20 in Semester IV. Those four figures were added before either table below was trusted, and they reach the stated total of 80 exactly. Eighteen rows are theory courses worth 66 credits, and each of them is a paper that takes a Tutor Marked Assignment. The remaining 14 credits sit in two project rows that no SOET booklet lists.
The same section places MSCIDS in the School of Engineering and Technology, opens it to graduates in engineering, any science discipline, medicine, architecture, computer applications or fire and safety, and names English as the medium. Entry 47 of the programme summary adds a two-year minimum, a four-year maximum, semester-wise examinations, January and July admission, and fees of Rs. 12,100 for the first year and Rs. 12,900 for the second.
Semesters I And II: The Year PGDINDS Also Covers
| Code | Title in section 3.71 | Sem | Credits | SOET booklet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MIS-021 | Safety Policy and Principles of Accident Prevention | I | 4 | July 2024 and January 2025, read in full |
| MIS-022 | Industrial Safety: Rules and Acts | I | 2 | July 2024 and January 2025, read in full |
| MIS-023 | Safety in Construction Industry | I | 2 | July 2024 and January 2025, read in full |
| MIS-024 | Mechanical and Electrical Safety | I | 2 | July 2024 and January 2025, read in full |
| MISP-021 | Project | I | 6 | None, a project row |
| MIS-025 | Industrial Project Management and Control Strategies | II | 4 | January 2025, read in full |
| MIS-026 | Communication Skills for Industrial Safety Personnel | II | 4 | January 2025, read in full |
| MEV-001 | Introduction to Environmental Health | II | 4 | January 2025, read in full |
| MEV-002 | Environmental and Occupational Hazards | II | 4 | January 2025, read in full |
| MEV-005 | Occupational Health and Safety | II | 4 | January 2025, read in full |
Drag the table left on a narrow screen to reach the booklet column.
Semester I is lighter than it looks on paper. Three of its four theory codes are 2-credit courses, yet each still carries a ten-question, 100-mark assignment, so MIS-022 asks as much writing as the 4-credit MIS-021.
Semester II is where the MEV prefix enters. MEV-001, MEV-002 and MEV-005 are environmental and occupational health courses that other IGNOU programmes also use, and the MSCCC page on shared MEV codes shows how another school handles that prefix. For an MSCIDS learner, though, SOET prints all three inside its own Semester II booklet, under the same 30 April date as MIS-025 and MIS-026.
Semesters III And IV: Where The Booklets Run Out
| Code | Title in section 3.71 | Sem | Credits | SOET booklet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MIS-031 | Fire Safety | III | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-032 | Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Analysis | III | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-033 | Disaster Management | III | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-034 | Research Methodology | III | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-035 | Safety in Various Industrial Sectors | III | 4 | Not on the index |
| MEV-016 | Environmental Impact Assessment | III | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-036 | Emergency Response Planning and Management of Disasters | IV | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-037 | Safety Audit | IV | 4 | Not on the index |
| MIS-038 | Hazardous Material Management | IV | 4 | Not on the index |
| MISP-031 | Research Project | IV | 8 | None, a project row |
The last column may need a sideways swipe.
IGNOU’s MSCIDS assignment index lists booklets for Semester I and Semester II only, so no official TMA page for MIS-031 to MIS-038 or MEV-016 could be read for this page on 17 September 2026. The index at webservices.ignou.ac.in offers two January 2025 files and two files labelled July 2025, and nothing for the second year. A Semester III or IV learner should ask the Regional Centre or write to mscids@ignou.ac.in, the address every SOET booklet gives for assignment queries, before any second-year answer is written. Second-year codes are still taken as orders, but only once your own booklet page, however you obtained it, has been seen.
Which MSCIDS Codes You Actually Write
Your route into the programme decides the list. The table below uses the lateral entry clauses printed in sections 3.71, 8.64 and 10.6.
| Your situation | Assignment codes that apply | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Fresh MSCIDS admission, whole programme | MIS-021 to MIS-026, MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-005, MIS-031 to MIS-038, MEV-016 | 18 |
| Passed PGDINDS, admitted to MSCIDS Semester III | MIS-031 to MIS-035, MEV-016, MIS-036 to MIS-038 | 9 |
| Enrolled in PGDINDS, not MSCIDS | MIS-021 to MIS-026, MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-005 | 9 |
| Enrolled in PGCINDS only | MIS-021 to MIS-024 | 4 |
| Short of one or two papers from an earlier semester | Only those codes, from the cycle your Regional Centre accepts | 1 or more |
Slide sideways for the count column.
PGCINDS, PGDINDS and the first year of MSCIDS use the same MIS-021 to MIS-024 codes, and PGDINDS adds MIS-025, MIS-026, MEV-001, MEV-002 and MEV-005 to reach 36 credits. Section 8.64 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus shows the 36-credit PGDINDS table, section 10.6 the 16-credit PGCINDS table, and section 3.71 lets PGDINDS holders enter MSCIDS at the third semester. In practice, a learner moving up the ladder does not rewrite first-year papers already passed; the registration record, not this table, fixes the final list. MSCIDS is also a different programme from MSCIS, the Master of Science (Information Security), whose papers carry MSEI and MSE codes and are covered on the MSCIS handwritten assignment page.
Titles, Dates And Codes That Do Not Match
- MIS-021 and MIS-024 carry two titles each inside the July 2026 Common Prospectus. The MSCIDS table in section 3.71 prints MIS 021 as Safety Policy and Principles of Accident Prevention and MIS 024 as Mechanical and Electrical Safety. The PGDINDS table in section 8.64, the PGCINDS table in section 10.6 and all three SOET booklets print Safety Philosophy and Principles of Accident Prevention and Mechanical and Electrical Safety Management. The booklet wording is the one to copy into the Course Title field, because it matches the paper you answer.
- MIS-026 loses a word on the booklet. Section 3.71 ends the title with Personnel; the January 2025 Semester II booklet prints Communication Skills for Industrial Safety. The same file writes MIS-025 with an ampersand where the prospectus writes “and”.
- A 2024 assignment code on a 2025 booklet. Both January 2025 files print MIS-021/TMA/2024 through MEV-005/TMA/2024, the same strings the July 2024 file uses. The code line therefore cannot tell a July 2024 page from a January 2025 page; the cover line can.
- A link labelled July 2025 that opens July 2024. IGNOU’s MSCIDS index names two files July 2025, yet their file names and covers read July 2024 and their due date is Sept. 30, 2024.
- Same questions, different questions. MIS-021, MIS-023 and MIS-024 carry identical questions in the July 2024 and January 2025 files, while MIS-022 was rewritten. A friend’s old answers can look current for three codes and be wrong for the fourth.
- A lateral entry clause that points at itself. Section 10.6 describes lateral entry into the second semester for those who have completed PGCINDS, inside the PGCINDS section, a sentence copied from the PGDINDS entry. It also spells the codes MIS 21 to MIS 24 without the zero that section 3.71 uses.
- Dates and paper that other sites get wrong. A national education portal lists M.Sc. Industrial Safety under a 31 October 2026 cut-off. A solved-assignment seller asks for white A4 and submission at an “IGNOU Center”, while SOET asks for full-size paper and the Regional Centre.
- On this website, pending correction. An older ignouproject.com project page for PGDINDS places MISP-021 in the second semester, where section 8.64 places it in the first. The home page still carries an acceptance assurance backed by a refund, and the MMPC-001 course page quotes a dispatch period in working days. None of those claims is repeated here, and all three are queued for correction.
Where a list on this page and your own record disagree, the record wins. Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment. The edition used here is part of the IGNOU prospectus archive.
How An MIS Code Becomes A Written Regional Centre Set
Five stages, in a fixed order. The first one exists because a third of MSCIDS papers have no public booklet yet.
- The booklet page is located before anything else. Semester I and II codes are matched to the SOET file whose cover names your cycle. For a Semester III or IV code, the page you received from your Regional Centre is asked for first, since IGNOU’s index has none.
- The cover line decides the cycle, not the code line. Because MIS-022/TMA/2024 appears on two cycles with different questions, the questions are checked against the cover, “MSCIDS – July 2024” or “MSCIDS – January 2025”, before drafting starts.
- Each answer is planned against its marks. Full 10-mark questions get definitions, the explanation asked for and an industrial example; 5-mark parts get half that. The MIS-023 case study is built from an accident outside the study material. The official blocks are free through the eGyanKosh access route, the alternate Gyankosh route and the subject-wise IGNOU books download page.
- Full-size sheets, 2 cm clear on three sides. The answers go onto paper that is not very thin, with the question number and part letter against each answer, as instruction 6 asks, and each code tied as a separate set.
- The nine header fields are laid out and left blank. Instruction 1 lists Enrolment No, Name, Address, Email ID, Course Code, Course Title, Programme, Study Centre and Date, and asks that the format be followed strictly. General layouts appear on the IGNOU assignment cover page guide, the downloadable front page PDF and the assignment structure notes, but the SOET list is the one to follow.
SOET’s header asks for an email address and a Study Centre, and no signature line. If your Regional Centre wants your signature on each page as well, add it; the booklet does not forbid it. The guide to finding your enrolment number covers the first field.
Matching Your Hand On Safety Diagrams And Case Studies
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. Any page works. A page with a sketch works better.
MSCIDS answers are not all running prose. A fire triangle, a fault tree, a scaffold with its ties, a hierarchy of controls: these are drawn, labelled and arrowed, and the way a person letters a label is as recognisable as the way they write a sentence. PGDINDS learners who move into Semester III are the clearest case, because their first-year sets, already in their own hand, sit on the same enrolment as the second-year sets. The photo is used for that order and deleted afterwards.
Doing The MIS Papers Yourself
Plenty of MSCIDS learners already work in safety roles and know the Factories Act better than any model answer does. For them, the step-by-step handwritten assignment method is the place to start, a completed sample IGNOU assignment shows spacing and numbering, and the online and offline submission explainer sets out both routes some centres offer. Hindi-language advice lives in the IGNOU assignment in Hindi guide, though every MSCIDS paper is English. Ordering makes sense when the hours are missing, not the knowledge.
Two Free Checks For MIS And MEV Papers
Neither check sends anything anywhere; both run inside this page. The first turns a semester or a paper count into a total and a countdown to SOET’s next date. The second takes an MSCIDS code in any spelling and returns both of its titles, its assignment code pattern and the checklist for your route.
Free tool 1
MIS And MEV Paper Countdown And Cost Sheet
Pick a semester or type a paper count, then the cycle on your booklet cover. The sheet returns the total at ₹320 a paper, the next 30 September or 30 April counted from today, the days left, a rough writing-hours figure for ten-question papers, and a note on booklet availability for that semester.
MISP-021 and MISP-031 are left out of every option because no SOET booklet lists them.
A whole number from 1 to 18. Choosing a set above fills it in.
When this year’s date has passed, the count moves to next year’s.
Pick a set or type a number, choose the cycle, then select Count My MSCIDS Days.
Quote These Papers At ₹320 Each
This tool is guidance from ignouproject.com, not an IGNOU rule. Using it creates no obligation to order anything. Dates follow the July 2024 and January 2025 SOET booklets and can be moved by a Student Evaluation Division notice; the hours figure assumes about three hours of longhand for a ten-question paper.
Free tool 2
MIS Code Title And TMA String Finder
Type one MSCIDS code, choose how your Regional Centre takes assignments, and enter the year on your booklet cover. The finder returns the semester and credits, the prospectus title beside the booklet title, whether IGNOU’s index holds a booklet for it, which other programmes share it, and the header checklist.
Any spelling: MIS-021, MIS 21, mis021, MEV 16.
SOET booklets name the Regional Centre as the place to submit.
Four digits from the cover line, such as 2025 in “MSCIDS – January 2025”.
Type a code such as MEV-005, choose a route, enter the cover year, then select Find This MSCIDS Code.
This tool is guidance from ignouproject.com, not an IGNOU rule. Using it creates no obligation to order anything. Titles and credits come from sections 3.71, 8.64 and 10.6 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus; booklet details come from the SOET files read on 17 September 2026, which IGNOU can replace.
One Message With Your Semester And Entry Route
Say whether you are a fresh MSCIDS learner or came in from PGDINDS, list the codes, and name the cycle. The reply lists the papers that carry a TMA, asks for the booklet page of any second-year code, and states the total before any payment is discussed.
Finding The SOET Booklet That Matches Your Semester
An MSCIDS assignment code is built as course code, then TMA, then a four-digit year, for example MIS-021/TMA/2024, and SOET printed that same 2024 year on its January 2025 booklet. Each course page in the three files read gives Course Code, Course Title, Assignment Code, Maximum Marks 100 and Last Date of Submission, in that order. Because the year segment did not change between the July 2024 and January 2025 files, the cycle has to be read from the cover line and the due date, not from the code. Copy the assignment code into your answer sheet exactly as your own page prints it, even if the year looks old.
- Start on IGNOU’s own servers. Search MSCIDS on the official assignment download page, or open the Master’s degree list on the webservices assignment index, where MSCIDS is listed beside the M.Sc. Zoology entry.
- Pick the semester file, then read its cover. Semester I holds MIS-021 to MIS-024; Semester II holds MIS-025, MIS-026 and the three MEV codes. The cover names the cycle and the due date.
- Distrust the link label. The two links labelled July 2025 open files headed July 2024 with a Sept. 30, 2024 deadline. If your admission cycle is later, confirm with the Regional Centre which file it is collecting against.
- Ask for anything the index lacks. Second-year pages are not listed. The booklets route assignment queries to mscids@ignou.ac.in, and the Regional Centre can say which paper it will accept.
Semester progress matters too: a learner moving to Semester III has to complete the IGNOU re-registration form before second-year papers apply. For the term-end side of the same codes, solved IGNOU exam papers and the last year paper collection show how SOET frames a timed question.
Tracking An MIS Set After The Regional Centre Logs It
Keep a copy of every sheet. All three SOET booklets advise retaining a copy of your response and, where possible, attaching a photocopy of the booklet pages to what you hand in, which also answers any later question about which cycle you wrote.
Receipt and marks appear at different times. First the Regional Centre records the set; later the evaluated marks reach IGNOU’s records against each code. The IGNOU assignment result and status checker shows whether a code has been received, the code-wise assignment marks lookup shows the score, and the assignment column on the grade card is where it finally sits. If an MIS code stays blank, the grade card status guide explains what to raise with the centre, and the consolidated final grade card matters once every semester is complete.
A 40 on every assignment is the floor SOET prints, so check each MIS and MEV mark against it. IGNOU revaluation is a term-end examination process. Once both components are visible, the IGNOU percentage converter and the CGPA calculator for IGNOU turn grades into figures. A July-cycle set due on 30 September leads into the window shown in the December 2026 term-end date sheet, and the general IGNOU assignment explainer lays out the whole cycle.
Revision Material For The 70 Per Cent MSCIDS Exam
The term-end paper carries seven marks in every ten, and it is written in a hall, not at home. Learners preparing for it alongside the assignments tend to use IGNOU unit summaries, the IGNOU guess paper collection, the IGNOU help book list and the online IGNOU guide books.
Project work is outside this service: MISP-021 and MISP-031 are handled on the MSCIDS MISP-021 and MISP-031 project page, the PGDINDS project guide, the PGCINDS MISP-021 guide, the IGNOU project reports section, the IGNOU synopsis format page and the project service charges.
MSCIDS has one medium of instruction, English, according to section 3.71 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus. The July 2024 and January 2025 SOET booklets read for this page are English papers, and no Hindi MSCIDS booklet appears on IGNOU’s index. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, so for MSCIDS every set is written in English. Older papers work the same way: a learner short of MIS-022 from the July 2024 cycle names that cycle, and the set follows the questions on that cover.
Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
Ordering MSCIDS Papers Through WhatsApp In Three Moves
The whole order runs in a single WhatsApp thread on +91 93546 37830.
- List the papers. Codes from your registration record, semester, entry route, booklet cycle and pin code. For MIS-031 onwards, attach a photo of the booklet page your centre gave you.
- Read back the count. Project rows come off, any code with no page on hand is flagged, and the total is stated at ₹320 per subject. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
- Check, fill, submit. Each code arrives as its own set with the nine header fields blank. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. Then deliver it to your Regional Centre, following the IGNOU assignment submission steps.
The first message should carry five things:
- Codes as printed, including the MEV codes, which are easy to forget in a Semester II list.
- Fresh admission or PGDINDS lateral entry, since that halves the list.
- The cover line of your booklet, because the code line alone does not show the cycle.
- Your Regional Centre’s route, if it has announced anything other than hard copy.
- Pin code, and a handwriting photo if you want the set in your own hand.
If 30 September or 30 April is close, give the number of days left in that first line, so the delivery position for your pin code is weighed against it before payment.
Sources, Dates And Open Questions Behind This MSCIDS Page
From the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. Section 3.71 gave the SOET placement, eligibility, English medium, the lateral entry clause and all 20 rows with titles and credits; the credits were added semester by semester to confirm 80. Entry 47 of the programme table gave duration, fees, examination mode and admission cycles. Sections 8.64 (PGDINDS, 36 credits) and 10.6 (PGCINDS, 16 credits) supplied the shared-code tables and the title conflicts. The file was read as extracted text and searched by code.
From SOET assignment booklets. Three files on webservices.ignou.ac.in were read in full on 17 September 2026: MSCIDS Semester I, July 2024; MSCIDS Semester I, January 2025; and MSCIDS Semester II, January 2025. They supplied both dates, the assignment code pattern, the 10 by 10 marks pattern, the 40-mark minimum, the nine header fields, the paper and margin rules, the Regional Centre instruction, the query address and the course titles as SOET prints them. IGNOU’s MSCIDS index was read for booklet availability.
From ignouproject.com as publisher. The commercial terms are the publisher’s and have nothing to do with IGNOU. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
What this research could not settle. No MSCIDS booklet dated 2026 was found, so 30 September 2026 rests on the July 2024 printing, and the 31 October 2026 date on a third-party portal could not be checked against ignou.ac.in, whose assignment page does not permit automated reading. No Semester III or IV booklet was available, so the marks pattern for MIS-031 to MIS-038 and MEV-016 is unconfirmed. Why the January 2025 file kept a 2024 code is not explained anywhere IGNOU publishes.
Corrections go through the ignouproject.com contact form; each is checked against the SOET file and dated. The publisher is described on the about ignouproject.com page, and data handling on the site privacy policy.
Published 17 September 2026 · Last reviewed 17 September 2026 · Next scheduled review 25 September 2026, to look for a 2026 SOET booklet ahead of 30 September, then 1 April 2027 ahead of 30 April.
What MSCIDS Learners Ask Before Writing Or Ordering
Questions are ordered by how often each one recurred across the search results, seller pages, forum threads and video titles reviewed for this page, the most frequent first.
30 September for July-cycle learners and 30 April for January-cycle learners, as the SOET booklets of July 2024 and January 2025 print them. No 2026 MSCIDS booklet was on IGNOU’s index on 17 September 2026, and one education portal quotes 31 October 2026, so check the date shown against your code on ignou.ac.in and with your Regional Centre.
No. Instruction 5 in every SOET MSCIDS booklet read here says only handwritten answers are acceptable and that typed or photocopied answers must not be submitted. A printout of an answer file and a photocopy of another learner’s written set both fail that rule.
₹320 for each MIS or MEV code, whether the course carries 2 credits or 4. The courier is inside that figure, and ordering a single paper is fine.
All 3 SOET MSCIDS booklets read for this page name the Regional Centre as the place to submit assignments, even though the header asks you to name your Study Centre. Some seller pages say Study Centre or simply IGNOU Center; follow the booklet, and ask the Regional Centre if it has announced an upload option.
No. The PDF is a reference file you read, while the handwritten set is ten answers in ink on full-size paper that you hand to the Regional Centre. Only the second meets instruction 5 of the SOET booklets.
No, a printout is typed work, which the booklets refuse. Use such a file, if at all, to understand what an answer should cover, then write your own set by hand.
Ten questions of 10 marks each, 100 marks in total, with every question compulsory and a minimum of 40 needed on each assignment. Some questions are split into two 5-mark parts, as most of MIS-022 is.
Eighteen: MIS-021 to MIS-026, MEV-001, MEV-002, MEV-005, MIS-031 to MIS-038 and MEV-016. The two project rows in section 3.71 carry no assignment page in any SOET booklet, so they are not part of this list.
SOET kept the 2024 assignment code on its January 2025 files for all nine codes. The questions still belong to January 2025, so copy the code exactly as printed and rely on the cover line and the April 30, 2025 due date to identify the cycle.
They are not on IGNOU’s MSCIDS index, which lists Semester I and II files only. Ask your Regional Centre for the MIS-031 to MIS-038 and MEV-016 pages, or write to mscids@ignou.ac.in, the address the booklets give for assignment queries.
Nine: MIS-031 to MIS-035 and MEV-016 in Semester III, then MIS-036 to MIS-038 in Semester IV. Section 3.71 allows PGDINDS holders to enter at the third semester, and your registration record confirms the exact list.
They use the same codes for the shared semesters: MIS-021 to MIS-024 across all three, plus MIS-025, MIS-026 and the three MEV codes for PGDINDS and MSCIDS. Read the programme named on your own booklet cover and write that in the Programme field.
Nine fields, in this order: Enrolment No, Name, Address, Email ID, Course Code, Course Title, Programme, Study Centre and Date. Instruction 1 asks for exactly this format, and copy the course title from your booklet page rather than the prospectus.
Full-size writing paper that is not very thin, with a 2 cm margin on the left, top and bottom. The booklets do not say A4 or foolscap, and they ask you to mark the question number and part beside each answer.
No Hindi paper was found. Section 3.71 records English as the only medium of instruction, and every SOET MSCIDS booklet read for this page is in English.
Yes, provided you name the cycle on the booklet you hold, such as July 2024. MIS-022 questions changed between July 2024 and January 2025, so check with your Regional Centre which cycle it will accept before the set is written.
The set is refused: each SOET booklet says answer sheets received after the due date shall not be accepted. Watch ignou.ac.in for any extension notice, and otherwise plan the course for the next cycle.
Five things, whichever seller you use: the codes match your registration record, the questions match the cover line of your booklet rather than the 2024 code line, the paper and 2 cm margins follow SOET’s instructions, nobody promises marks or acceptance, and delivery to your pin code is confirmed before payment.

MSCIDS · 80 credits · 18 papers · SOET
Ten answers per MIS or MEV code, on full-size paper, in a hand that can match your own.
A Semester I set for 30 September, a Semester II set for 30 April, or a single backlog paper from a 2024 cover. Each code is tied separately, the nine header fields are left for you, and project rows are named and removed rather than charged.
