Six BNM Codes Are Printed Two Ways. The Booklet Number Is the One You Write.

The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists BNM-126 to BNM-140 where IGNOU’s own booklets and question papers say BNM-026 to BNM-040, and the 2026 papers tie their dates to the examination you sit, not the month you were admitted. ignouproject.com settles the number first, then writes each BNM paper by hand.

  • Ten BNM Major papers
  • 1-series or 0-series codes resolved
  • Dates set by your TEE
  • Five 20-mark answers per paper
  • English papers, Hindi answers allowed
  • Backlog sessions taken

Quick answer. An IGNOU BAFJDM handwritten assignment is the Tutor Marked Assignment for one course of the Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Digital Media), answered in ink on A4 sheets and submitted as a hard copy at the Study Centre; BAFJDM is a four-year undergraduate programme of IGNOU’s School of Journalism and New Media Studies, taught in English, whose ten 6-credit Major papers run from BNM-021 to BNM-040 on IGNOU’s booklets (the July 2026 Common Prospectus prints six of them as BNM-126 to BNM-140), and ignouproject.com writes each paper by hand at ₹320 per subject with courier included, for the current session or a backlog one, matched free of charge to a photo of your handwriting; each assignment carries 100 marks and decides 30 per cent of the course result, the 2026 BNM booklets set 31 March for the June examination and 30 September for the December one, IGNOU has extended the December 2026 date to 31 October 2026, and codes go to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830.

BNM Cut-Offs Run on the Exam You Sit: 31 October 2026, Then 31 March 2027

Sitting the December 2026 TEE: submit by 31 October 2026. Sitting the June 2027 TEE: submit by 31 March 2027.

December 2026 TEE

31 October 2026

Extended by IGNOU’s Student Evaluation Division from the 30 September printed on the 2026 BNM booklets, for ODL and online programmes alike.

June 2027 TEE

31 March 2027

The March line on the 2026 BNM booklets, which serve the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions together.

31 October 2026 is the last date for a BAFJDM learner submitting BNM assignments for the December 2026 term-end examination. The 2026 BNM-022, BNM-025 and BNM-031 booklets print 30 September for TEE December, and a Student Evaluation Division notice listed on ignou.ac.in extends hard-copy and soft-copy submission for the December 2026 TEE up to 31 October 2026, for ODL and online programmes. The extension covers that one examination. A learner still short of BNM papers for December plans to 31 October 2026 and checks ignou.ac.in for anything later.

31 March 2027 is the next printed cut-off for BAFJDM learners, the date the 2026 BNM booklets give for the June term-end examination. One line on those booklets serves both the January 2026 and the July 2026 sessions: 31st March for TEE June and 30th September for TEE December. So the date follows the examination, not the month of admission. The 2025 BAJDM booklet printed the same March and September pair. School of Social Sciences booklets work differently; the BAFSO and BAFPA pages on this site found 30 April and 31 October on their English covers, keyed to admission batches.

A learner who borrows a classmate’s BA calendar from another school can lose a whole month this way.

Dates shift by session and by Regional Centre, so confirm on ignou.ac.in before relying on any of them. Notices that move a date are collected in the site’s IGNOU assignment dates tracker.

Thirty Per Cent on Each BNM Paper, and a 40 Per Cent Floor Beside It

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.

A BAFJDM learner needs at least 40 per cent in the assignment and at least 40 per cent in the term-end examination of every course, according to the BAFJDM Programme Guide. The guide words the rule as a minimum in assignments and in the examination, each, though another passage of the same guide also mentions a combined 40 per cent, so the safe reading is 40 out of 100 on the TMA itself. The guide warns that an examination taken without the assignment can have its result withheld or cancelled. In practice a weak BNM paper costs more than marks: it can cost the result.

There is no second attempt at a good mark either. Once an assignment has pass marks, the guide does not let the learner resubmit it to raise them.

A 2026 BNM assignment is one 100-mark paper of five questions, each worth 20 marks, and every question must be answered. The 2026 BNM-022 and BNM-031 booklets print no word limits, while the 2026 BNM-025 booklet splits some questions into 10- and 5-mark parts and asks for a news report of about 200 words and a feature story of about 300. The 2025 BAJDM booklet used another pattern altogether: three 500-word answers at 20 marks, two 250-word answers at 10 marks and five 150-word notes at 4 marks. An answer plan built on a 2025 paper does not fit a 2026 one.

Several questions are tasks rather than essays. The 2026 Techniques of Reporting paper opens with a news report written in inverted-pyramid form, and the value-added course asks for a five-minute podcast script.

Typed BNM Reference File or Ink on A4: What the BAFJDM Guide Allows

Ink on A4, in the learner’s hand. The BAFJDM Programme Guide puts it in two short sentences: write the responses to assignments in your handwriting, and do not print or type the answers.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one IGNOU course code and session, for example BNM-031 Data Journalism for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions. A BAFJDM learner reads one to see how a 20-mark Data Journalism answer might be organised. It carries no enrolment number, no Study Centre code and none of the learner’s handwriting, and section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus allows typed assignments only for students with a valid disability certificate. A printed solved file is therefore reading material, not a BAFJDM submission.

A handwritten assignment is the same BNM questions answered by hand on A4 paper, one course code per bundle, with a 4 cm left margin and the pages tied, as the BAFJDM Programme Guide instructs. Its first page carries the Enrolment Number, Name, Address, Assignment Code and Study Centre Code that the 2026 BNM booklets ask for. The learner signs, hands the bundle to the Study Centre coordinator and keeps the receipt. That bundle is what an Academic Counsellor evaluates and later returns through the Study Centre.

The guide’s handwriting rule is written to the learner, and buying a written set does not switch it off. The person who signs the cover answers for what is inside, which is why the notice at the foot of this page asks for every answer to be read before signing. Learners who only want something to read first can find BNM reference files among the IGNOU solved assignments.

Twelve Checks a BAFJDM Set Passes Before Courier

Booklet number on the cover. A prospectus number such as BNM-131 on an order is written as BNM-031, the number IGNOU’s booklet and question paper carry.

Exam month, not admission month. The set is planned against the TEE you will sit, because the 2026 BNM files key their two dates to June and December.

Five answers of equal weight. A 2026 paper sets five 20-mark questions, and the answers get matching space rather than the 2025 bands.

Printed limits kept. Where a booklet names a length, as BNM-025 does for its news report and feature, the answer stays near it.

Tasks done as tasks. A podcast script, an inverted-pyramid news report or a segment plan is written out in the form the question names.

Newsroom terms used correctly. RTI, beat, stringer, bureau chief and copy editor keep the meaning the BNM study blocks give them.

Minor codes counted in. BNM-022, 024, 027 and 028 are BAFJDM’s own 4-credit papers, whatever slot a document files them under.

BSOC codes stopped. A BSOC-101 to 114 code on a BAFJDM order is queried, because that table belongs to the Sociology Major.

Margin the guide asks for. Ruled A4, 4 cm clear on the left, and a few lines between answers.

Code line as the booklet prints it. BNM-022 alone on a 2026 paper, BNM-022/Jan25/July 25 on a 2025 one, BNME-001/Jan26/Jul 26 for the value-added course.

Declaration left empty. Every first-page field arrives filled except the signature, which you add after reading.

Six papers, ₹1,920. Plain multiplication; courier already sits inside each ₹320, whatever the pin code.

BNM-126 or BNM-026? The BAFJDM Course List IGNOU Prints Two Ways

A BAFJDM learner writes assignments for ten Major (DSC) papers of 6 credits each, 60 credits, inside the 120-credit three-year degree set out in section 5.11 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus; a fourth year raises the total to 160 credits and an Honours award. Around those 60 sit 24 credits of minor and vocational papers (six at 4 each), 16 of skill papers (four at 4), 8 of ability enhancement (two at 4), and one 6-credit interdisciplinary and one 6-credit value-added course, which takes the total to 120. Every semester of the prospectus template and of the BAFJDM Programme Guide adds to 20 credits. The table below was trusted only after its ten Major papers added to 60 on the prospectus figures.

Semesters follow the BAFJDM Programme Guide, which prints titles without codes; the prospectus gives no semesters. Swipe sideways for the last two columns.

IGNOU’s own files number six BAFJDM Major papers in a 0-series, BNM-026, 030, 031, 032, 039 and 040, while the July 2026 Common Prospectus prints the same titles as BNM-126, 130, 131, 132, 139 and 140. The 2026 Data Journalism booklet is headed BNM031, numbered Assignment 11 and carries the code BNM-031; the 2025 BAJDM booklet sets papers for BNM-026 and BNM-030; IGNOU’s June 2026 question papers are filed as BNM-031 and BNM-039; and IGNOU’s BAFJDM programme page lists BNM-026 to BNM-040. No IGNOU booklet or question paper found for this page uses a 1-series number, so a BAFJDM learner searches for, and writes, the 0-series code.

The numbering also runs in order. BNM-025 is Assignment 5 on its 2026 booklet and BNM-031 is Assignment 11, which matches a count from BNM-021 upward.

BAFJDM also sets its own minor and skill papers instead of borrowing the general BA lists for every slot.

Codes for the last three rows come from IGNOU’s BAFJDM programme page, since the guide names those courses only by title. Slide the table to see both placement columns.

The remaining slots draw on the pool every BA Major shares. In semester 1 the interdisciplinary course comes from a list that includes BEGG-171 Media and Communication Skills and BSOG-171, and the first skill course from the general BA skill list; semester 2 brings BEVAE-181 Environmental Studies and a value-added course, BEDSV-101 Value Education or BNME-001 Philosophy of Swami Vivekananda; semester 3 adds one of BEGAE-182, BHDAE-182, BSKAE-182 or BUDAE-182. Each of these has its own booklet, issued by the school that owns it.

The assignment code line on BAFJDM papers changed between the 2025 and 2026 cycles, so a learner copies it from the booklet in hand. The 2025 BAJDM booklet printed the course code with both sessions, as in BNM-022/Jan25/July 25. The 2026 BNM-022, BNM-025 and BNM-031 booklets print the course code alone, for example BNM-031, beneath a session line naming January 2026 and July 2026. The 2026 BNME-001 booklet for the value-added course, issued to the same BAJDM/BAFJDM programme, keeps the older style as BNME-001/Jan26/Jul 26.

Eleven Places the BAFJDM Documents Disagree, This Website Included

  1. Two numbering series. The July 2026 prospectus prints BNM-126, 130, 131, 132, 139 and 140; IGNOU’s booklets, question papers and programme page use BNM-026, 030, 031, 032, 039 and 040.
  2. Another programme’s table under the BAFJDM heading. Section 5.11 opens with BAFJDM’s description and English-medium line, then prints the ten BSOC sociology codes of BAFSO before BAFJDM’s own list appears on the following pages.
  3. Data Journalism at two weights. BNM-031 is 6 credits in the prospectus and the Programme Guide, and 4 on IGNOU’s programme page, which leaves that page’s ten Major papers at 58 credits instead of 60.
  4. One course, three titles. BNM-025 is Journalistic Writings in the prospectus, Types of Journalistic Writings on the programme page and Types of Journalistic Writing on its 2026 booklet. The 2025 booklet also calls BNM-022 Reporting Techniques.
  5. Minor and skill slots. The prospectus points BAFJDM learners to the general BA minor and skill lists and files BNM-027 and BNM-028 as vocational; the Programme Guide fills those slots with BAFJDM’s own papers, three of which the prospectus never prints.
  6. Medium. The prospectus and the programme page say English; the Programme Guide also allows assignments and the examination in Hindi.
  7. A course count that does not add up. The 2025 BAJDM letter asks for one assignment in each of the eight theory courses and then sets papers for ten codes.
  8. A code line that keeps changing. 2025 papers print BNM-021 / Jan25/July 25; 2026 BNM papers print the code alone; the 2026 BNME-001 paper prints BNME-001/Jan26/Jul 26.
  9. A marks pattern rewritten. 2025 papers mixed 20-, 10- and 4-mark questions with word limits; 2026 papers set five 20-mark questions, mostly without limits.
  10. One title spelt two ways. The BAFJDM interdisciplinary list prints BHDG-175 as Madhyakaneen Bharatiya Sahitya Evam Sanskriti; the general BA list, a few pages earlier, prints Madhyakaleen.
  11. On this website, pending correction. The home page’s assurance of acceptance with a refund and the MMPC-001 page’s dispatch-time promise are both queued for correction; this page makes neither promise.

When two of these sources disagree, follow the booklet issued for your own code and session. If that still leaves doubt, ask the Study Centre in writing and keep the reply.

From a BNM Code List to a Tied Bundle in Five Stages

Five stages. You are needed at the first and the last.

  1. Numbers are reconciled. Each code is matched to IGNOU’s booklet numbering. A 1-series number is converted, and a BSOC code or a code from another programme is raised with you before anything is paid.
  2. The examination picks the file. A learner sitting the December 2026 TEE is written from the January 2026 and July 2026 booklet; a learner whose slip still names 2025 is written from the 2025 BAJDM file, whose questions and marks pattern differ.
  3. Pages follow the marks. Five 20-mark answers get even space. Where a booklet names a length, as BNM-025 does for its news report and feature, the answer keeps to it.
  4. The fair copy goes onto A4 in your matched hand. Blue or black ink, a 4 cm left margin and question numbers as printed, with the first-page fields an IGNOU cover needs filled in except the signature, and the enrolment number written the way IGNOU formats it.
  5. Courier, then your reading and signature. You read every answer, sign, and follow the steps for submitting at the Study Centre. The receipt stays with you.

Matching Your Hand When the Answers Are Full of Media Terms

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

BNM answers mix running prose with things that give a hand away quickly: abbreviations such as RTI and ICT, figures in a Data Journalism answer, a headline and dateline on a news report. A sample page with some capitals and numbers on it tells the writer far more than a paragraph of lowercase sentences.

One page in your usual pen, photographed straight on in daylight, is enough. A learner answering in Hindi, which the Programme Guide permits, sends a Devanagari page instead.

Why bother? Across the degree one enrolment number can put two dozen bundles on the same Study Centre counter, and a coordinator notices when the writing changes between them.

Planning to write the BNM papers yourself? If the hours are there, that is the better route, and the free pages on this site help: a step-by-step method for a handwritten assignment, a front page PDF ready to print, a filled-in IGNOU assignment to check layout against, the layout and structure rules evaluators look for, and how online and offline submission differ.

Two Free BAFJDM Checks: an Exam-Keyed Countdown and a BNM Number Reconciler

The first totals the rupees and counts the days to the cut-off for the examination you pick. The second turns any code on your record, including a prospectus 1-series number, into the booklet number and the code line to copy. Neither sends anything off this page.

Finding the Current BNM Booklet on ignou.ac.in When the Programme Index Lags

Search by the 0-series code, for example BNM-031. No file under the prospectus number BNM-131 turned up anywhere in this research.

  1. Use IGNOU’s search. Open the assignment download service on ignou.ac.in and type the code.
  2. Read the file name. 2026 papers sit in the SOJNMS folder under names such as BNM-031(2026). The 2025 papers are one combined BAJDM 2025 Assignments file on webservices.ignou.ac.in.
  3. Accept BAJDM on the letter. The 2026 papers address the BAJDM/BAFJDM programme, and that label is correct for a BAFJDM learner.
  4. Check the session and due-date lines before the questions. A current paper names January 2026 and July 2026 and gives 31 March for TEE June and 30 September for TEE December.

IGNOU’s BAFJDM programme page says third- and fourth-year course details and assignments were to follow in July 2025 and July 2026, which may be why papers for BNM-032, BNM-039 and BNM-040 could not be found. A paper still missing near the cut-off is reported through the iGRAM grievance route, with a screenshot of the empty search.

The study material costs nothing. There are free BNM blocks to download, eGyanKosh, where the prospectus says BAFJDM practical manuals are issued, and the Gyankosh route for when the first is slow.

Following a BNM Bundle From the Counter to the Grade Card

Receipt on the day, status online later, marks on the grade card last. The 2026 BNM booklets tell learners to get a receipt from the Study Centre and advise keeping a photocopy; the Programme Guide adds that Academic Counsellors evaluate the work, that it comes back through the Study Centre, that there is no re-evaluation, and that nothing is to be posted to the Student Evaluation Division directly.

Blank status for a few weeks is normal. Blank status for a whole cycle is when the receipt matters.

The assignment status check by enrolment number shows whether a code was received, and a separate page explains what each marks-status entry means. The 30 per cent appears in the assignment column of the grade card. Bachelor’s learners read the BDP grade card lookup alongside a note on how the bachelor’s grade card is laid out, watch the grade card status for the whole programme, and expect every BNM code on the final grade card at the end of the degree. Grades convert with the IGNOU percentage calculator and the CGPA calculator.

Exam Practice and Other Orders That Accompany a BAFJDM Set

The 70 per cent is still to come. The December 2026 exam date sheet gives each BNM paper its day, and practice comes from guess papers for the December cycle, solved term-end question papers and previous years’ BNM papers. Revision sits in condensed study notes, course-code help books and printed guide books sold online.

The internship or portfolio course and the fourth-year project or dissertation are separate work, handled under IGNOU project report help, with proposal and synopsis formats and charges for that work on their own pages.

Neighbouring programmes have their own pages: the MAJDM handwritten page for the master’s in the same subject, the MAJMC handwritten page, the MADJ handwritten page, and the BAFSO page for the BSOC codes printed under BAFJDM’s heading.

Medium, session and the names around BAFJDM

BAFJDM is taught in English, according to both the July 2026 Common Prospectus and IGNOU’s programme page, and every BNM booklet read for this page is in English. The BAFJDM Programme Guide adds that the university allows assignments, project work and the examination to be submitted in Hindi as well. A BAFJDM learner who prefers Hindi therefore answers the English questions in Hindi, since no Hindi BNM booklet was found.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For BAFJDM that paper is English. A learner who wants Hindi answers says so in the first message and has the request confirmed before paying; the Devanagari presentation guide covers its layout.

Older sessions are handled too. A learner coming back after a gap usually completes re-registration for the next year first, or the readmission process after a lapse, and then answers the paper that serves the session on the new slip.

On names: BAFJDM is the programme code in the July 2026 Common Prospectus; BAJDM is the earlier label IGNOU’s papers and assignment folder still carry, now printed as BAJDM/BAFJDM; BNM is the course prefix on its journalism papers; and MAJDM is the separate master’s programme in the same subject.

Placing a BAFJDM Order: A Message, a Total, a Courier

  1. A message to +91 93546 37830. Include the four details below and a photo of a page of your writing.
  2. A reply with the total. ₹320 multiplied by your codes, and whether courier reaches your pin code. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  3. Payment, then the courier. The bundle goes to the address you give. Reading, signing and handing it in remain yours.

The four details:

  • Each code as Samarth prints it, Major, minor and common-pool alike.
  • The examination you will sit, June or December, with the year.
  • English or Hindi answers.
  • A delivery address with its pin code.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. If your Regional Centre asks for an online upload, you scan the delivered hard copy yourself. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Which IGNOU Files This BAFJDM Page Rests On, and What Stayed Unresolved

From the July 2026 Common Prospectus: section 5.11 for BAFJDM, with its English medium line, the ten Major codes in their 1-series form, the four BAFJDM vocational papers and the shared interdisciplinary, ability, value-added lists; the BSOC table printed inside the same section; the four-year template with its 120 and 160 credit figures; the BA rules for minors and skill courses on pages 164 and 165; the programme-list row giving English, three or four years and a year-wise examination; and the typed-assignment provision in section 14.7. A plain guide to reading the Common Prospectus is on this site.

From IGNOU’s own files, read on 8 October 2026: the 2026 BNM-022, BNM-025 and BNM-031 booklets and the 2026 BNME-001 booklet, read in full; the combined 2025 BAJDM booklet for BNM-021 to BNM-030; the BAFJDM Programme Guide in English; IGNOU’s BAFJDM programme page; the Student Evaluation Division notice extending December 2026 TEE submission; and, from search results only, the 2026 BNM-024 file and the June 2026 BNM-031 and BNM-039 question papers. Dates, marks, word limits, first-page fields and code lines come from these.

Terms that belong to ignouproject.com, not to IGNOU: one rate of ₹320 per paper with the courier cost carried by the publisher, handwritten copies and never files, every medium IGNOU issues the paper in, current or past sessions, a writing sample matched at no charge, no smallest order, and a delivery estimate given once the pin code is known. The university plays no role in any of them.

What this research could not settle. No 2026 booklet was located for BNM-021, 023, 026, 029, 030, 032, 039 or 040, which does not prove IGNOU has not issued them. Why the prospectus uses a 1-series for six codes is not explained in any document read. The Programme Guide’s two statements of the 40 per cent rule do not match, its own minor title for semester 8 varies, and it does not say whether the practical course BNML-021 carries a written assignment. Fourth-year assignments were not examined.

BAFJDM Learner Questions, Sorted by How Often They Come Up

What is the last date to submit IGNOU BAFJDM assignments for the December 2026 TEE?

31 October 2026. The 2026 BNM booklets print 30 September for TEE December, and IGNOU’s Student Evaluation Division extended hard-copy and soft-copy submission for the December 2026 TEE to 31 October 2026 for ODL and online programmes. For the June 2027 TEE the printed date is 31 March 2027.

Can I type my IGNOU BAFJDM assignment?

No, unless you hold a valid disability certificate. The BAFJDM Programme Guide tells learners to write the responses in their own handwriting and not to print or type them, and section 14.7 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus allows typed assignments only under the disability provision.

Which course codes does a BAFJDM learner write assignments for?

Ten Major papers, BNM-021, 023, 025, 026, 029, 030, 031, 032, 039 and 040, plus the minor and skill papers BNM-022, 024, 027, 028, 033, 037 and 038 and the common-pool courses on your record, such as BEVAE-181. The Samarth record says which fall due in your current year.

Is a BAFJDM solved assignment the same as a handwritten assignment?

No. A solved assignment is a typed reference file of model answers that a learner reads while planning; a handwritten assignment is the BNM paper answered in ink on A4, signed and handed in at the Study Centre. Only the handwritten bundle is collected and evaluated.

Can a printed BNM solved PDF be submitted at the Study Centre?

No. A printout is typed work carrying none of your handwriting, and the BAFJDM Programme Guide rules out printed or typed answers. Use the file to plan, then write the answers by hand.

The prospectus says BNM-131 but IGNOU’s website shows BNM-031. Which one do I write?

Write BNM-031. IGNOU’s 2026 Data Journalism booklet, its June 2026 question paper and its BAFJDM programme page all use BNM-031, and no IGNOU file with the number BNM-131 was found. The same applies to BNM-126, 130, 132, 139 and 140, which become BNM-026, 030, 032, 039 and 040.

How many questions are in a 2026 BNM assignment, and how many marks does each carry?

Five questions of 20 marks each, 100 marks in all, and every question is compulsory. Some papers split a question into parts, and BNM-025 asks for a news report of about 200 words and a feature of about 300.

What does the first page of a BAFJDM assignment need?

Your Enrolment Number, Name, Address, Assignment Code and Study Centre Code, as the 2026 BNM booklets list them. The 2026 BNME-001 booklet also asks for the Regional Centre Code, so read the instructions on the paper you are answering.

What paper size and margin should a BAFJDM assignment use?

A4 paper with a 4 cm margin on the left, according to the BAFJDM Programme Guide. The guide also asks for a few lines between answers and for all the pages to be tied together carefully.

Can a BAFJDM assignment be written in Hindi?

Yes. BAFJDM is taught in English and its BNM papers are issued in English, but the Programme Guide says the university allows assignments, project work and the examination in Hindi as well. A learner who wants the answers in Hindi says so in the first message, and the request is confirmed before payment.

How much does an IGNOU BAFJDM handwritten assignment cost?

₹320 per subject, and that figure already covers the courier. Five BNM papers come to ₹1,600 and ten to ₹3,200, at the same rate for current and older sessions.

How long does delivery of a BAFJDM set take?

That depends on your pin code, so no figure is given on this page. The estimate for your address is confirmed before you pay, and with the 31 October 2026 date near it is worth asking early.

Can a backlog BNM paper from an older session be ordered?

Yes. Any session is accepted at ₹320 per subject. Name the session on your current slip, because the 2025 and 2026 BNM papers differ in questions, marks pattern and code line.

My Regional Centre wants an online upload. What happens then?

You scan the delivered hard copy yourself and upload it as the centre directs. No soft copy or PDF is sold; the upload is made from your own scan of the signed bundle.

How long does IGNOU take to update the status of a submitted BNM assignment?

Usually a few weeks, though no fixed period is printed in the BAFJDM documents read for this page. Keep the Study Centre receipt and a photocopy, as the 2026 booklets advise, in case the entry does not appear.

How many marks are needed to pass a BNM assignment?

At least 40 out of 100. The BAFJDM Programme Guide asks for a minimum of 40 per cent in assignments and in the term-end examination, each, and a paper that has passed cannot be resubmitted to improve its marks.

Is BAJDM the same programme as BAFJDM?

For assignment purposes, yes. BAFJDM is the code in the July 2026 Common Prospectus, and IGNOU’s 2026 BNM papers are addressed to the BAJDM/BAFJDM programme. MAJDM, by contrast, is the separate master’s programme.

Will the handwritten BAFJDM set look like my own writing?

It is written to match the sample page you send, at no extra charge. A page that includes capitals, abbreviations and numbers, or Devanagari for a Hindi set, gives the closest match.

Before paying any provider for a handwritten BAFJDM set, what should be checked?

Five points apply to every provider, this one included: that each answer is written from the booklet for your own BNM code and session; that the per-subject price and any courier charge are stated before payment; that nobody promises marks or acceptance; that no delivery date is promised before your pin code is known; and that the declaration on the cover is left for you to sign.
