Ans. IGNOU provides a variety of short term and long-term programmes that lead to Certificates, Diplomas, Advance Diplomas, Associates Degrees, and Degrees, encompassing both conventional and innovative options.
Q2. When can I enroll?
Ans. The University offers two admission cycles each year: the January session and the July session, along with the option for walk-in admission. A student can enroll based on their eligibility in either session. The University has uploaded the admission schedule on its website: http://www.ignou.ac.in
Q3. What steps do I need to follow to take admission?
Ans. Submit the admission forms online through the online admission system at http://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in for all the programs offered in the common prospectus. Pay the programme fee through the online payment gateway.
Q4. How can I find out my admission status?

Q5. How does IGNOU approach teaching and learning?
Ans. IGNOU employs a multiple media approach that utilizes print materials (self-instructional study materials), face-to-face teaching through academic counselling (held on Sundays), electronic media (audio/video, radio, television, webcast, etc.), and practicals as required by the program.
Q6. How do you study at IGNOU?
Ans. IGNOU supply learners with printed or digitised self-learning material (SLM) for the programme of study, based on their chosen option, along with a programme guide. Academic counselling offers learners support through organized counselling sessions at designated study centres, including colleges, educational and training institutions, and NGOs. IGNOU continuously evaluate learners’ performance through assignments, projects, and practical components according to the programme structure. The programme guide provides the complete structure of the programme.

Ans. After you confirm your admission or registration, the Material Distribution Unit (MDU) of the relevant Regional Centre will provide you with self-learning print material, either in person or by postal delivery.
Q9. Where will the Academic Counselling take place?
